Place is nice. BUT THE BOUNCERS BEHAVIOURS ARE REALLY NASTY. I've been here several times and every single time my friends and I go, WE ALWAYS WITNESS THEIR BOUNCERS MISTREATING PEOPLE ...ESP. THE GUYS. We even witness 2 BOUNCERS handling a girl so rough. Picked her up and throw her so hard on the ground. The girl didnt even touch them. All she did is pointing it out to them what they did and that they cant treat people like that. And she was asking the bouncer for their name. The bouncers became more aggressive when the other bouncer came over. Their bouncers behaviour are really disgusting. The owner doesn't seems to care about their behavior at all. So, if you happen to come to this place, make sure your phone have space to take videos/pictures just incase you or your people get harass or anyone around you. If the owner isnt doing anything, then something else need to get done. Their nasty behaviors need to stop. They seems to forget that this is a club where people go out to party. Downtown clubs and even Cocktail Lounge in pickering, Classic cocktail in North York and Luxy in Vaughan bouncers are way better than this place. Obviously the owners in this clubs cares about their business. They know how to cater for the people that bringing business to them ...unlike Sugar daddy.

Nice place. Turned away at the door for wearing sneakers. Luckily I was 10 min away so went home to change shoes. Shortly after entering saw many people coming in wearing sneakers...? Good crowd for a Friday night, but in the 2 hours we were there they played old school hip hop for 30min of it, the rest was just straight reggae and some soca. Not a balanced variety. Drinks were cheap yes, but was charged the same price for a regular pop as I did an alcoholic drink...? Note its CASH ONLY when paying for cover at the door, prepare to use ATM if you only have credit/debit. Room for improvement - suggest equal treatment of people as a whole, balance the music genre and music can be very loud at times hurting the ears, volume could be turned down a bit. Other than that it's a good clean place to dance the night away and alcoholic drinks are reasonably priced.

First of all...... for all the People complaining the place is no good because of "Black People" , if you don't like Black People keep it to yourself it has nothing to do with the club it's primarily West Indian people here in general, don't like it go somewhere else. This place is good for a free night for Ladies and cheap drinks, but yall need to do something about the Music because there is other Dancehall and Soca besides Kartel and Machel........ update the music because the playlist is the same from when I been going in 2010 just a few new songs. I went on a Saturday night open 10pm-3am $20 cover fee/ free for ladies before 12am The music was very good but I don’t think it catered to women as much as it did men, the same songs were also repeated or later played outdoors. The outdoor patio is small and there’s only one bartender out there not to mention they allow smoking outdoors which is a small confined spot (hello second hand smoke/cancer). There was a lot of security and friendly bar staff however the DJs could use improvement manners wise (as a song I requested was apparently played prior to me arriving at 11:30 so couldn’t be played at 2:30 even though they repeated everything anyways) If you’re a male that smokes and love dancehall it’ll be great but unless you’re a female that smokes, can’t whine and love buss gun it’s hit and miss

Nice looking place inside and outside on the patio. Music is hit and miss depending on the DJ and what you like, last night the music was not that great. Some good music but most just ok and not flowing together. My biggest negative about SD is the drinks!!!! I only can handle 2 drinks on any given day... I had six last night and felt absolutely sober. I am sure that that is not a coincidence, and even after my sixth drink I could have kept drinking, but I realized that the alcohol must be diluted or not enough alcohol per glass. Please fix up guys, I go to other places and could never handle six drinks and keep standing much less drive! Smh! Oddly enough many people say this too so what’s really going on at the bar?? Couldn’t give more than three stars because of this, it’s just wrong.

Never had a problem with security. I like the music. The crowd is hit and miss as it isn't a "sociable" compared to pretty much anywhere else i've gone. Drinks are "ok" but my issue is the with the bartenders. They need more. Also sometimes look irritated or upset. Not to mention this has happened 5 times. I've been shortchanged 25 cents, 50 cents or a dollar. Now it doesn't seem like much and some people pretty much won't care (I didn't) but look at it this way. The amount of drinks, a quarter here, fifty cents there, it adds up. They are stealing. So I won't say anything over a minor amount, I just won't tip you :)

Had a blast here!!! I was told this club would be less than fun having folks who were of the older nature on Fridays (making me assume it would be the same Saturdays). Nonetheless, I came here two weeks ago on a Saturday where the Selector played nothing but Caribbean and Afro beat music. The place was packed full of people from different backgrounds (mostly millennials) and I see why. Music and vibe was great. Drinks were kind of watered down but the atmosphere made up for it. We shut the club down. Will of course visit in the future maybe in the summer and bring my girls with me.

This place is a go to for sure. They are consistent. People come back cause their music is good and the drinks are affordable. Those new night clubs over charging for drinks will never get the same crowd coming back. There’s a patio if you smoke. I would have given a 5 star if the washroom situation was better. There used to be a lady in there it was kept clean. Now people are savages I don’t understand how people dirty a washroom so fast!! If you wanna hear some top 40 at first then soca and dance hall it is the place to be.

Used to love this place. Unfortunately they changed DJs. The news ones are " all over the place" but not like Dj FatCats on a Saturday night. Update : tried Sugar Daddys yet again this labour day weekend on Sunday. (Sept 3,18) The CHUBBY, Caucasian DJ IS TRASH! He plays all old songs over and over... The amount of new songs and older songs and he plays TRASH. He plays the intro to the song instead of the hook which more people are familiar with. Please consider a guest DJ or someone who is FAMILIAR with the genre.

Been a while since I have been there. The crowed is great the people are great but the Dj is not. The sound system was bad. You could not hear it clearly. The music was not great for the crowd. The dj was not the right for the crowed. I kept waiting for up beat songs. If you want the crowed to buy drinks you need to get them dancing , get them sweaty and thirsty. Really disappointed tonight, was looking forward of a night of dancing. I will try again. Please fix ur sound system I does sound not Good all.

oh my goodness, the same songs are played every single week exactly at the same time on saturdays. This is every annoying. Get a new dj because the one you have now is lazy a suck. He just puts the laptop connect to the audio on repeat.No new songs in rotation. I have stopped coming there because of this. its like deja vu every single week. all people deaf that they don't realize this. If the owner is reading this, do something about it or it will affect your business soon.

I normally go on Saturday nights but only once in awhile,recently when i went& they had complimentary vegi pizza and mini sandwiches. Its an amazing venue with so much potential. The downfall is the MUSIC. Its the same old playlist every single time i go. Barely enough soca music and up to date soca and dancehall. When i go to a night club i go for the music, the first few times of going it wasnt so bad but now its just annoying hearing the same playlist over n over again.

There’s a woman who works here, I believe her name is Lilian (she wears a slicked back pony-tail and is short, and from what I remember stands by the entrance) but is very disrespectful and a huge B——. She doesn’t greet people properly, and runs her mouth too much. She needs to be more humble. Also this club is mad ghetto like just go to one’s in Toronto honestly.

I don't know man..I went to this place the other night with my lady and the place was reasonably full but the dj was on some bs..me and my lady had a couple drinks, STOOD with the rest of patrons till we got a buzz, and then jetted from that joint..I wouldn't knock it as yet though being that this was my second time going to the place..maybe next would be better and the dj would be more into the crowd than the booth

been there several times over the last 10 years or so, but i've definitely grown out of the clubbing scene so haven't been here in a while now, but as I recall, they played good music, not a rowdy environment, drinks expensive like all other clubs, but certainly a good option outside of busy downtown toronto if you want to stay local and save money on parking/transport etc, they have a large lot

One of the better spots in the GTA. Parking is free. Staff is cordial. The place is spacious and clean. Ladies free before midnight and guys $10 before 1am. Domestic beer and normal drinks start at $5. Music is amazing, mostly hip hop, reggae and soca. On Thursday nights they have Latin music on the patio. A very diverse crowd celebrating everything from birthdays to stags.

If you are going here, men you better make sure you are wearing dress shoes. I went with a group and none of them were wearing dress shoes but they would not allow one of the guys I was with in because they said he was wearing running shoes, when it clearly wasn't. The dress code says casual too. They allow some people that have runnig shoes on. They pick and choose.

Great music.. Weird crowd.. But if u bring ur own friends you'll have a lot of fun. They could do better on the bottle prices though especially if you buy more than one.. 250 for a bottle of Hennessey even if u buy 2 and the club is almost empty.. They should do more to attract and keep people who Like to party with booth and bottle service.. Otherwise great place..

Freshie dancers need to stop trying to do their choreographed dancing in the middle of the dancefloor,, this aint 1999, rehearse in your living room to go out and put on a show for people that are trying to dance, not watch you do the routine you been practising. Other than that id say this club is better than a neighbourhood bar if you dont wanna be in the house.

Lewis v. Sugar Daddys Nightclub look this case up. The guards lack training and they assault people at their liking and the management does nothing about it. Thanks to the court a man got a reward for their despicable childish acts towards another being. I bet these guards still have a job there. This is a sick place to attend.

The bouncer asked me to leave because I told him I felt discriminated by him moving our table to the corridor even after we bought a bottle. The white fatsy with a blonde mohawk and a Bluetooth piece in his ear like he can hear anything in the club.... that was his immediate response. Y'all need some customer care training.

I saw the security guards punch a boy twice yesterday because he told them not to touch him. Someone stole my phone from my pocket. This place should be locked down. For shame. It is unsafe. Drove 18 minutes only to be turned back at the entrance for wearing sneakers. That’s kinda derogatory for me. Thought of going home to change then it occurred I came to the country with sneakers. Don’t think it’s a good place for tourist coz of surprises. It’s also very crowded and I think they have good music too.

Nice nightclub. Friday is a much more mature older crowd. Average age is 40. Playing Hip Hop, RnB, Reggae, Soca and Old School. The music is mostly songs from back in the days. 90's to early 2000s $3 Drinks. Saturday is a younger crowd. A lot of Hip Hop and Reggae. A bit more attitudy, but still a really fun time.

I have been to this club for many times. It's all about your luck bro. I made few chicks twerking on me few times. Drink In Limit. Show The Best Moves If You Are Going Single. Wear good clothes. There's only one washroom & the ladies one has big lineups, plus there was 2 toilets out of order! Not good for a busy Saturday! Also, I wanted something different/special for Bday shot, and bartender didn't know how to mix different shooters, drinking a shooter from a big cup...tsk please

I’m giving the music a solid 2/5 stars!!!! This place came highly recommended by some friends who were regulars. The reggae sets are TOO long!!!!! I came here on a Friday and Saturday and they played 10 min of hip hop, 5 min of soca and the rest??? Reggae. I like it but it’s too much!

sugsr daddies is the place to be if you like all Soca, dancehall, reggae and island music. The music is loud but that’s the way they like it. If you don’t like that kind of music don’t go and then complain about it. The drinks are decent priced and it’s a safe place to go clubbin.

Old school Friday’s plays terrible music. The alcoholic beverages are loaded with sweet water not pop. The alcohol taste diluted with something else. $3 bucks makes sense ... Saturday’s the music is good and the crowd is young minus the older folks standing around the walls.

Every time we go here we regret it. The crowd is ok, it's the DJ who has no talent. Same music, often hear repeats throughout the night. Music is sped up to a speed that noone can dance to. Once a good song starts DJ changes it to something that doesn't flow.

Went here on a Thursday, The music was great and security and staff were very nice. The music was good, the crowd wasn’t very impressive and the only people dancing were our group of friends (10-12 people), though others eventually joined
