Sun Yat-Sen Park contains a wonderful little playground. There is a single large play structure with a variety of slides and climbing elements as well as a set of swings and a few standalone elements. Although the setting is next to the Stevenson Expressway (and the noise from the traffic can be loud), this little park has solid amenities and great trees. There are benches and tables near the western end as well as a drinking fountain. The play area itself is shaded in the afternoon and has a surface of wood chips. All in all, this is a great neighborhood playground.

Historical street-side park in the heart of Chicago's Chinatown commemorating Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, the democratic pioneer who led Chinese Democratic revolution in the early 1900's and founded the first republic in Asia in 1912. Small park with a playground and statue of Sun. One of the several public resting and gathering spaces for local residents in Chinatown.

A special place in Chinatown. A place to sit and breathe. An up close view of the expressway. A great place to catch a competitive game of Mahjong. A relaxing time to observe some practicing Tai Chi. There's even a small playground area for children of all ages.

It’s your standard park swings and a jungle gym. Pretty secluded from businesses and tourists. Parking here is pretty poor as it’s in front of residential houses. You’ll see old grandpas playing Chinese chess nearby and there are benches to chill out on.

I went there to pay respect to Dr. Sun Yet Sen. Nice to see who built the first democratic country in Asia, especially significant on the day of PRC removing the president term limit... Like what 袁世凱 did.

Small but clean little playlot. Right next to the highway, so its a little noisy. We went for a special drum exhibition that was amazing.

My children always have fun here. They enjoy getting spun in the big red circle that they could climb into.
