I usually do not write reviews or even bad ones to start off with but I am still hurt by the fact. Yesterday my boyfriend and I went over to this tjmax on Almaden because I needed work jeans. We went in normally but coming in I guess we looked “suspicious” to them. My boyfriend did his own thing I did mine. Although while I went to try some clothes on the First Lady was super nice but as I was trying in clothes this other worker kept passing by with a sweeper, “sweeping” the floor you could clearly tell the floor was not dirty and it was making me super uncomfortable. I was done and the next worker I approached looked at me up and down and looking at the clothes I had in my hand. I found that super strange and rude. After I found my boyfriend he pointed out that a man kept following him and looking at him look at stuff. We talk about it and go into the beauty isle and he tells me how uncomfortable he’s feeling because all the workers keep starting at him and I felt the same way. Then a manager comes up to us and just casually how asks us if we need help finding anything we politely tell her no and she leaves back downstairs. We were the only one that she asks that having so many people around us. Quickly after she leaves another worker comes and starts “fixing” stuff on the shelves. Although there was literally nothing to fix. We look up and the man that kept starring at him was now standing there “starring at the wall” near US ! I felt super uncomfortable and only because I needed jeans I purchased them. The cashiers as well while we were paying kept looking at us up and down. ? I don’t know maybe find a better way to look for people “stealing” because we felt super uncomfortable and almost harassed by how much workers were near us . Will not be coming here again. May I just add this isn’t my first time in the store I don’t understand the watchfulness this time. People who actually are there to steal aren’t even watched for. Next time pick a better couple to watch out for.

This is my favorite T.J. Maxx to shop at. They have everything! BUT they take theft very seriously . I had a terrible experience at this store they literally ruined my day. Someone reported that they thought I was stealing. Within a minute I had five employees following me all around the store to every department! (Janitor, assitant manager, cashier..) it was ridiculous! When I go to T.J. Maxx I like to relax, put my head phones in, listen to music and check out every department. They ruined my day! At the time I had been shopping there for almost 3 years. I spend big bucks there! I had to cut the day short because it was awkward looking at certain items with the male janitor right next to me pretending to be cleaning! ...I called headquarters and reported the whole thing. Within a couple of days I received a call from the store manager she apologized and told me she disciplined the 5 employees.

Pros: The store has so much to choose from, so many beautiful items for your home decor at affordable prices. 5 stars for that. Cons: crappy customer service. Every person I asked for help did not want to help me, no we don't have that item, ask her she will know (found what I was looking for on my own) then they each spoke in their own languages, two of them were version two of them were his Bannick, but it's been extra that I can speak Spanish and started to talk about me, then I spoke back to her in Spanish letting her know that I spoke Spanish and that you can say she was stunned. Managers , train your people, customer service is very important and they have a lack their of. I don't mind traveling to a further location just to get some good service

I wish I could give zero stars! The cashier forgot to remove the anti-theft device from the products I bought. When I went there to remove it later, the cashier refused to do so without any receipt. I didn't have the receipt then, but told her to use my phone number or credit card number. But they informed me that nothing can be done without an actual physical receipt. Note that the cashier messed up in the first place, and now I am stuck with the anti-theft device in my products. This is disgusting from TJ Maxx and HomeGoods! I am never going to buy anything from them for such terrible customer support!

I love this chain. This particular shop is on a main road, so a lot of the goods disappear fast. You need to be the early bird here, or miss out on many great bargains. The interior decor section is very appealing and changes according to the season you visit, right now full of Halloween ornaments that are beautifully bewitching. The food section is mostly gourmet, pricey but worth it. Also, they move the clearance sections around a lot, so walk through the whole shop. You might find something you had no idea you actually wanted.

i just went looking for something today that might help My Wife for her Potted plants on the Patio, a covering that might keep Squirrels out of Purple Potatoes and Her tomatoes? i took some PICS of Items and Pricing. This TJ Max is a big store with 2 levels. Home goods downstairs and clothing and baby goods upstairs. This place has everything you need to furnish a home from furniture, to rugs, pots, pans, plates, bedding, towels, decorations, mirrors, candles, seasonal holiday decorations and so much more. The store is well stocked with lots of items to look at and select. Everything is at a great price I love shopping here regularly.

I rate two stars because they have great items here. HOWEVER, the employees definitely don't deserve any stars. They are unfriendly, not because they're rude, moreso because they don't even acknowledge you...at the door, in the store, at the register. With the "customer service" I got at the register, I could've just rang myself up! If you have lots of time to pass, go here, because the cashiers are beyond slow.

Very bad experience today visit. Store manager Sonia she don’t know what is the customer service. I went to the store for return my items and they give me half price back reason Store manager said itme now on sale so we can’t give you full amount back and she is very rude and after that walk away. Very poor customer service. Store manager is key of good customer service.

Super busy and they seem a bit shorthanded but everyone jumped in to keep things running. We thought it would take forever to check out, but the staff did an amazing job getting us all through - had to be 20-30+ people in line! Store was clean and well stocked, too! Escalator was broken but I'm sure it'll be up and running in no time as there were techs working on it.

Oh my GOSH I happened to return a purse and traded it in for another one for a less amount and when I tell you, these people were so patient and kind !!! they were so patient even with a long line of people waiting they stayed calm . They made me feel not rushed as very sweet angel of Guadalupe and Bianka are the best here I recommend everyone to come here.

This is my go to store when I’m trying to look for some new clothes within my price range. Dude whenever I would go with my mom here, she always took forever looking at the shoes section like breh. It’s always so awkward when I’m using the elevator and there is someone else there. I think a dude farted one time. Great service. Great clothes selection.

Looks like every employee is mad every time. I’m kinda afraid to ask a question. They never see me when they talk to me and a female employee I asked a question never answer even just ok while I say thank you five times. It was a very very unhappy visit. I gave a two-star since there was ONE employee who was ok.

You get everything you need under one roof for less price.. you need to have eye for good quality products.. clothes and cosmetics good. Gift items are good.. rest you have to be careful while selecting! All the best! I bought portable air pump for my bicycle n basketball! It was useless and didn’t work! ☹️

First ever visit to this store, and I was amazed at the variety of items. What a fun store! I live in a small town with nothing like this, I look forward to shopping here on my next visit. My daughter managed to buy several things for her friend's birthday, and also for her office employees gifts.

I can't tell you how nice it is when places have low prices especially right now during this terrible inflation... I was able to get a pair of shorts for $10... And then of course some fun things for mother's day for low prices gift bags $2 how awesome is that... Anyways great place

Today they decided to an inventory Really??... 2 hours ago they said they are opening in half hour...went to Cosco they are still closed, they told another customer in 15 minutes...why couldn't they have done this over night? Or at least STOP lying and us a time???

Store is well stocked with merchandise and seemed cleaned enough to find stuff. Went for luggage and searched around for good prices, they seemed to have the best prices and had clearance ones too. I found a large luggage for 50 bucks marked down from 80.

A good experience, a good time was had. The selection is forever changing an with the great price. You really can save a lot. Why over spend. Money is to hard to made right now. You can only spend your money once. Make it cry when you do give it up....

One of the largest T.J. Maxx & HomeGoods stores in the area with two levels, household stuff downstairs and clothing upstairs. Each time coming here is like another treasure hunting. If you could find what you want, the price is usually pretty good.

As a visitor from the UK, it was interesting to find that these stores have exactly the same range of goods as our T.K.Maxx! Particularly like their quirky foods section. Not as cheap as they used to be (where is?!).

Really large selection of kitchen equipment and decorative items. Parking is usually pretty good. The lines can be a bit long sometimes. This store has two levels with clothing upstairs and household downstairs.

Large selection of home decor and everything you don’t need but still want. Keep an eye on your cart on busy days because carts will be limited and other customers may mistake your cart as an abandoned cart.

Lots of stuff. LOTS. But the displays are crowded, as are the aisles. Be sure to inspect your items before purchasing; I frequently find flaws. Check-out moved fairly well, and the staff is friendly.

Nice stuff, but staff is very uncaring. If you buy anything keep the stickers on and the receipt. I was even asked about being handicap. I showed her my form. She wanted me to wait in the long line.

The store has two levels. The second floors has clothes and kid toys. First floor has households. Lots of cashiers, about 12 opens on Sunday. Parking is good, could be better but okay.

Sell very bad quality socks, the bottom of the socks wear so badly on carpet for 2 hours of use, it feels the lines starts to reeling off. Not allowing to return either.

The elevator on the first floor is in a terrible spot. There's a shelving aisle thing right in front so it makes it super inconvenient to bring a cart in.
