I honestly used to really enjoy this place but today I didn’t have a great experience. After checkout as my girlfriend and I were heading towards the exit we had a employee rudely come up to us somewhat nice but somewhat demanding of how she wanted the shopping cart before we left the store. However, we had items in the cart and felt forced to have to grab the items and walk to the car when we are paying money at this location for their customer service to be that low. It was quite shocking and have never had been asked like that or even approached in such a way. I understand you guys didn’t have shopping carts due to how many customers were in the store and coming in and out but that is not the way to do it. Guess what. No one went out of there way hounding someone for a shopping cart just to fill the void for me. I went out of my way to the parking lot and found my own shopping cart and walked back in the store to meet up with my girlfriend. Now , how is that fair ? Sadly this location has really gone downhill and I’m disappointed and unsatisfied with my experience.

Needed to use the restroom in the middle of my shopping. There is a button that you have to press for an employee to come and let you into the restroom. I pressed the button and waited at least 10 minutes, but nobody came. As someone who works in retail myself, I recognize that things can get busy and you might be focusing on something more important than a customer needing to use the restroom, but this perspective crumbles when a customer came and put in the code to the women's restroom by herself. After seeing this, I decided to ask an employee for the code to the mens restroom. The employee said they would send someone to let me into the restroom in a few minutes. Ten minutes later, I was still waiting and saw several more customers put in the code for the women's restroom. It was very annoying!

I used to love shopping here. Today there were no carts. I asked and they said they didn’t have any. The store looked bare, like it was closing. I found several pairs of shoes , but the benches in the shoe section had people sitting on them playing on their phones. I had to walk across the store and sit on the furniture that is for sale, dragging items I wanted to purchase along with me back and forth.They occupied the benches for at least 30 min. I was so disappointed in this store today, I won’t be back for a while.

I love this store. Always have. Its a hit or miss as most discount retailers, but the hits rock. My go to for good makeup or makeup brushes, you may have to stalk the store for a month or 2 for exactly what you want, but, worth it imo. I have 30+ palettes and my favorite came from there. I like the other depts as well, have been going here for over 20 years. :) I drive out of my way to go to this store when it's a choice of here or Mission Valley.

Everyone who works there is very nice; however there are no carts and you have to page an employee just to use the restroom. I saw a mom holding her young baby, so she could put items in the stroller. Super inconvenient. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to a TJ Maxx, so I’m not sure if this is the new normal.

The store was nice and clean even though the bathrooms have a code on it they could use some TLC. Yeah I found some pretty good deals but I gave her a three because the men’s section is so small. Other than the men’s section I would’ve gave it maybe a 3 1/2. I couldn’t find any utensils sets.

Visit the store 23/09/26 around 5:30pm and the cashier at checkout 2 was more interested in talking with the customer in stead of keeping it short and sweet. The lady that checked me out was more interested in the arrest that was going on outside the store. Very poor customer service.

10.26.23: visiting from Atlanta and had to grab somethings from a familiar store we knew from back home. Customer service was great and we were able to find what we were looking for EXCEPT some cologne 3oz or less (for traveling purposes). Other than that, our visit was pleasant

Large parking lot. This location can get pretty crazy during the week! But ahh the deals here are unmatched. Really like visiting this location due to their large makeup selection! Their clothes is always up to date and amazing quality. Love every purchase I've made here. 10/10

Poor Staffing. On most occasions your wait to check out will be twenty or more minutes. You literally can't find anyone on the sales floor. Combine that and the horrible parking it's definitely not worth making the effort to shop here. If you have time to kill? Sure why not?

Great deals at this place. But you never know exactly what your gonna find. It's fun. There weren't enough employees there to do check out in order to keep the line short. Overall a good place to find a bargain;)

I would like to thank Diego who was the cashier who helped me yesterday. He was such a professional sweet man. I truly appreciated how he wrapped my glassware. Great employee. You need more employees like him

Checkout service is good here and they have a decent selection for women and of hair/body products at good prices. Their men’s section is lacking though - they need to step it up.

Great experience. I ended up buying a head board for a good price and with the 10% off, we couldn’t resist the deal. Go & do some shopping at T.J. Maxx
