I hired home depot for my carpets reinstall. It's been two months of the biggest nightmare I have had to deal with with any business. The carpet came damaged, they were supposed to change the whole thing as the pattern on the room that was damaged was going to be different, they made the installers semi install in the other areas mostly everything, but very poorly, so we could live while they came back with the new carpets. It's been almost two months and still no new date for installs, the vendor does not want to send the whole thing and home depot Resolution person has been dealing in the poorest way with them and the installers, giving me solutions that are not what I paid for, dye carpet to match or adding transition pieces, not listening to that is not going to work as its been installed bad in other places as well as a temporary solution by their team on their order. Home Depot, this location, where I bought the product and I made the contract with should be the ones responding for this matter and you go there and Noone is interested in solving, helping. This has been a complete nightmare. I was getting emails every Friday at the end of the day with nothing real, and now not even that. Rating 1 when should be 0. I am really disappointed. All this time I thought by hiring this company to do this was going to save me headaches, and has been nothing but that. I shouldn't have to be still waiting for this.

Always have the most horrible service at the paint department. This lady ( I don’t know her name, long black pepper hairs with glasses ) Literally every single time I come she shows me so much attitude for absolutely no reason! I have to drive further to another Home Depot to buy paint because I know every time I see her, my day would be ruined. It’s too bad. I don’t understand how it is so hard to nice to people. She acts like I own her money or smt! My goodness! I don’t think I will be back. At least not to the paint department ever! If you don’t like your job, don’t do it. Don’t work with so much attitude and ruin people day! The first time, even she gave me so much attitude, I still say thanks afterwards. But this time, I m so upset! I just walked out straight! People like this do not deserve your kindness back. I have never been this upset at any stores. And don’t expect she will give you any advice if you don’t have any knowledge about paint. Because clearly she hates what she is doing! So do some research before you come to make sure you know exactly what you are getting.

Young man at the returns desk was amazing. Young woman at the self serve check out…not so much. The returns portion of our visit was perfectly. We were able to return some unused product without any aggravation. We then went into the store to pick up a few more pieces of door trim to complete our renovation project. We used the self check out isle, but we realized after leaving the store that we had incorrectly scanned 5 PACKS of door trim instead of 5 INDIVIDUAL PIECES of door trim. We tried to run back into the store through the out door where we just checked out, just as the store was closing and we were met by a chorus of: “sorry’s”, “nothing we can do’s”, “come back tomorrow’s”. Really…2 minutes after 9 and they couldn’t get us out the door fast enough…brutal! We have spent over $5000 at Home Depot on this small renovation and have 3 more of our apartments left to renovate. If our visit doesn’t go well tomorrow, it will be our last. July 11, 2023

I have been working on project in my backyard for a while and stuff at Home Depot(Orleans) made it super easy. Colin from lumber, very knowledgeable, extremely helpful and answered all my questions and I had a lot of them.Thank you Colin.Today I was trying to find a tool and some other materials( by myself) without much luck and Olu from flooring took a time to help me even though it isn't his department, thank you so much.He was very pleasant, professional and certainly knows his store very well. There were others who helped as well these past 2 weeks.I like and enjoy going to Home Depot they have enough stuff to help people like me who doesn't do DIY often or ever. One more thing their cashiers are truly ray of sunshine, beautiful big smiles and quick to process your purchases. Thank you

Had booked an equipment rental this morning.. after standing there for 10 minutes and being ignored by the attendant that had clearly seen me, I spoke up and advised him I had a tool rental scheduled which was now past the time because I had been blown off. When I spoke up he responded in sharp dismissive tone. 'Ya, I'm busy, I'll be a minutes. I don't appreciate this way of being spoken to as a person, let alone a customer. This is the third time in the last 6 months home depot staff at this orleans location have been ignorant. I'm done with this store. You can look up my booking time and name and contact me if you need to.

I recently bought a new kitchen, spent 10 000 on the kitchen, I paid for a master designer and the install. Numerous pieces weren't ordered, although they were on the drawings, I was handed a bill for an additional 2600$ after 90% of the install was complete. Although HD ate most of the extra money owed, i was told I own part of the blame as I am supposed to ensure all parts were ordered, even though I paid for the designer. We had California shutters installed throughout our home and we absolutely love them. The experience was fantastic from beginning to end. Suzanne Harrison, the Decor Consultant from the Orleans store was a pleasure to deal with and we appreciated her professional input re appropriate framing, etc. Serge Boisjoli and his assistant Gerdine installed our shutters. They were punctual, professional and kept the workspace very tidy, and most importantly did a great/quick job on the installation. Thanks for an overall great experience, we would highly recommend Home Depot for this service.

AMAZING SERVICE!! I phoned to inquire about an item in stock, online mentioning only one was left. I called and was informed that unfortunately that item was no longer available. No big deal this is why I called. Ten minutes later the phone rings and Walid(employee) informs me that he did find the item I was looking for!! This is going above and beyond and I am super grateful for this AMAZING SERVICE!!! He then offered to have it put on hold until I get there! Amazing Customer service goes a long way! I usually don’t share reviews for stores but a visit today at this specific Home Depot was great. JM and the staff working around 6/7PM on a Friday were absolutely wonderful. Nothing but great customer service and good vibes. Home Depot is like a Toys R Us to me and having workers who care, are very attentive, and are all around just positive folks makes me want to spend my entire bank account there. Thank you again for everyone’s help and looking forward shopping there again!

This Home Depot is dead to me. For the 3rd consecutive week in a row, their saws were "broken" and they were unable to cut wood. They sell a zillion Ryobi tools but didn't have a single battery and charger kit in the whole store. The saw I bought had obviously been bought and returned and was missing several parts. The Home Depot in Gloucester was able to cut my wood and had plenty of Ryobi battery chargers in stock. That's where I will start next time.

I was having troubles finding the matching screws to my TV wall mount, this guy came out of nowhere in hardware and straight up told me I needed an M4 screw and broke down the difference between what they make for TVs and what I needed, and then just disappeared. Big shout out to that guy tonight. Thanks man my TV is actually sitting on the TV stand with more than one bolt!

Do not buy a garage door or garage door opener from them it's taken 5 months to get the door for them to install do a half job because they ran into an electrical problem so I paid an electrican to come out 437.12$ to fix the issue but now garage door installers want 100$ to come back and finish the work I ALREADY PAID FOR FULL INSTALATION NOW I HAVE TO PAY AGAIN.

It’s amazing store, I was there today and I was so confused what to do , a very nice guy his name is ( Jonah in doors and windows ) came and asked me if I need any help and he guide me to all the things I need and I was confused about it , really he is very helpful and I believe he add more value to this store because he works there, thank you Jonah

It doesn’t matter what department I was trying to get through, Saturday afternoon at 12:30, nobody answers the phone. Not even customer service! So in my estimation, that’s not customer service. I have to travel an hour to get there, so I want to make sure they have they actually physically have what I need. but I think I’ll find it somewhere else.

They have every tool and material you’d need for fixing or renovating your home, and are often the most affordable option. That being said, I would not advise you buy lumber from them. If your application requires straight boards you’ll be there for a long time trying to get a just couple that are acceptable. Go to a local store for lumber.

Today, I went with my daughter to pick up a closet organized. I asked some questions to Salim. Of all the big surface American home improvement stores, this is my favourite. Good prices overall and something for all budgets. The service isn't always as knowledgable as a small town shop but I found more helpful advice here than competing big box chains which is why I come back here first over them.

Awful customer service, they don't know anything about klien lifetime warranty policies, go to Gloucester they are well informed and won't shut you down no receipt is needed for lifetime warranty products and fiberglass fishtapes are covered, don't let them dupe you

My go to Home Depot. I use them as a supplier for my business and as my first stop when I need something for around the house. Sure they mess up sometimes but they have went above and beyond several times to help me out. I appreciate the team at the Orleans HD.
