"This is a review of the pharmacy"
Incredibly rude pharmacist. I arrived for the latest booster shot (1/13/23), and didn't have the documentation for my previous booster that I received a year prior, I couldn't remember the dates but knew it had been more than a year. After a long process of giving all the required information to the assistant, and repeatedly asking me the booster info that I couldn't recall but at no point telling me they wouldn't be able to give me the shot until they had it, the pharmacist came in hot from around the corner to say 'So you can't tell us your recent booster date or produce documentation', I stated yes that was correct, he continued to berate me for that, and then said based off the fact that I can't answer any of his simple questions he "doesn't trust my answers" and won't be able to give me the booster. All of that is fine, the way in which he talks down to people is not. I told him this, and he said, "well sorry I'm the person who has to tell you you need documentation". That was not the issue at all, it would have been preferable up front to be told, I could have retrieved it, and we all moved forward at their next open time, but after that experience I'll never be going back. It's not that hard to talk to people in a civil manner.
I go here because it's the closest location to my house. It's often a mess, like RXes frequently run into issues. I still go because it's again, close to my house. The other day I was there and there was a power surge or something and they needed to reboot all the computers. For some reason, rebooting computers, in 2022, took 30 minutes. My three-year-old needed to go to the bathroom and they wouldn't let us use it. I get it, there are plenty of folks you don't want using the employee bathroom, but toddlers aren't great at holding it til we can leave. Ended up buying pull up diapers for her so she didn't have to have an accident in the store. On top of this, and semi-related, my doctor told me the pharmacist was rude on the phone. I guess I'll start driving to the Northgate location. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This used to be my go to store since it was the closest to my residence, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Now it’s become a waste of time to go to. They are frequently out of stock of what I would purchase. Their new card payment system was completely down yesterday and the pharmacy was closed altogether. Today the pharmacy closed early as I got in line. The pharmacy has also been closed for the past couple of days for lunch. My wife hasn’t been able to get her prescriptions for several days now. There is very limited parking as it is. I’ll go elsewhere that wants my money and can provide the services that I need
Not only did the pharmacist refuse to refill (and blatantly cancel my active request for a refill) my prescription He also lied to me about sending my prior authorization request on the medication knowing I needed that sent ASAP. This isn’t medication one can just stop taking there are serious consequences for me stopping this cold turkey due to his refusal to provide service a service he knew the pharmacy provided. He even confirmed through his records that not only was the prescription fillable but they had filled it before. I’d give one star if possible and I’m certainly going to continue to pursue this
This is a review of the pharmacy. If I could give zero stars I would. Incredibly long wait times with zero customer service. If you wait in the queue as suggested it is likely you will he hung up on immediately upon reaching the front of the queue. If you go in person you will likely be told to wait over an hour or be told that it is not likely they have what you need in stock, after waiting. I WOULD RECOMMEND GOING TO ANY OTHER PHARMACY BEFORE RESORTING TO THIS LOCATION. TERRIBLE.
The pharmacy here hires incredibly rude people to staff their phones. Woman who answered the phone started talking over me so I spoke louder to let her know I wasn't done talking. That set her off -- which yeah raising your voice isn't okay -- but then she blamed me for raising my voice without provocation. Okay... I just needed to make sure you heard what I was saying because, ya know, the wrong medical information can be problematic. Seriously avoid this pharmacy at all costs.
Pharmacy continues to reduce their hours to the point where I am now unable to get my prescriptions except for a 1 hour window, because I am working 9-6 M-F. Staff is rude and unhelpful when I do manage to go in, which is really unfortunate when one is going to pick up prescriptions for ailments that already cause stress and can be life or death if you are able to get those prescriptions filled. Planning to transfer to a different pharmacy. Super disappointing.
Their pharmacy is maybe one of the worst I have ever been to. The hours are abysmal, they take lunch breaks and can’t fill your prescription during that time, and worse, the main Pharmacist John is a complete jerk. He seems to hate his job and the customers he’s supposed to care for. Dude. You’re a pharmacist. That’s a pretty badass job and you literally save people lives/make peoples lives better. Sure as heck don’t think he received the memo.
Staff here is really friendly. Good selection and the line always moves pretty quick. Decent sized parking lot outside. The only downside is that the north doors are closed permanently which means it's not very handicap accessible from the street/sidewalk. Either come up a few stairs or you'll have to go up through the steep parking lot driveway if you're on wheels.
They used to have one of the best deals on candy, but got rid of it, still had candy in the same place, didn’t have any signs saying the price so it made for very poor understanding at the cash register Staff are rude, always in a bad mood and are very unfriendly. One of them is always rude and smokes, and another is not a nice person.
Had a shot scheduled for today, got a confirmation last night that it was still on. Show up to get said shot and the pharmacy was closed due to lack of staff. Manager is incompetent, didn’t even call people to let them know their appointments were canceled. That’s just common courtesy right?? Beyond infuriating
I live nearby this store and so I frequent this location. They are very nice people working there and it's one of my son's favorite places to go looking for toy cars :) Very helpful staff and great customer service without hovering!
Did not carry rigid contact lens solution despite Walgreens website suggesting it is stocked. When asked, manager tried to insinuate that the products had all been shoplifted instead of taking accountability for poor stocking
Extremely rude stuff and inaccurate hours posted for their pharmacy. You would think such a large business would at least make sure that their hours are correct and that they hire people that have decent customer service.
Good people work here. They have been our pharmacy for about 5 years now. Pharmacies in general are under a lot of pressure right now but these dedicated folks always give great service.
Truly the worst. If it’s between using this pharmacy and not having your prescription medication, chose the second option. Rude, impatient, condescending pharmacy staff.
There was a very rude lady working at the photo counter when I went to pick up an online order. Don’t think I’m gonna be coming back here.
Medication isn't controlled but pharmacist said 'It's not controlled yet but it kinda is, said she needed to speak to doctor. All lies
I signed up on line at 4:30 to get my booster and they changed the time without notifying me and would not give it when I arrived.
Very nice staff and pharmacists. Very clean on the inside and the store is very convenient to get to when speaking location.
The folks who work here are super friendly and they even allow dogs in the store and give treats at the register!
Large, clean and organized, nice employees, and they always have Squishmallows when I visit
Always been able to get what I need and get things done quick.
Everyone here had a weird vibe and attitude. They were rude.
Moved over when Pharmaca closed. Staff very helpful.
Long wait times and have messed up my pharmacy order
This is the best pharmacy in the known universe.
I’m still upset about the broken photo printer
no bathroom? should i use your floor ???
Keep up the great work!!!
unprofessional, rude
Never answer calls
very nice staff
