I first went to 44 Dental Practice last summer after receiving less than satisfactory treatment from a previous dentist. I went as an emergency patient and was seen on the day that I telephoned and treated with utmost compassion and sensitivity. After my emergency treatment I enquired about having a bridge fitted to replace the ill-fitting dentures that I had in place. The dentist talked me through all of the different options available, explaining procedures and costs. I was advised to go and think about which of the treatments I would like to have. After careful consideration I decided upon a 6 tooth bridge and booked in for my first appointment which involved x-rays to make sure that my gums were healthy enough to support the bridge. During this appointment we discussed which material I would like to have my bridge made out of and I opted for ceramic ( a little more expensive but more cosmetically pleasing). During this appointment initial impressions were taken and sent to the lab. I returned a couple of weeks later to have the groundwork done for my bridge and temporary bridge fitted-I expected this to be a painful procedure, but once again the dentist was patient and extremely gentle, explaining everything he was doing each step of the way. Because I was still numb from the treatment he asked me to go back the following day to make sure I was happy with the fitting before sending off the final impressions to the lab. Yesterday I went back for the final fitting which I am happy to say made me cry (with joy)-such was the relief I felt when my new bridge was fitted-the colour was perfect, the fit was perfect, and the comfort was perfect. I would like to say a massive Thank you to Al & Abbie for making this whole procedure a very pleasant experience and for allowing me to smile again. Acquired 44 Dental Care's phone number completely by chance via Google Maps on my HTC Sensation XE phone. But what a discovery. 44 are the best practice I've come across in years. I needed one routine and one major filling after a chunk had come out of my front left canine. The work was completed by Dr Altaaf Hathiari. Not only was his work very competent but he bears the hallmark of somebody who cares about his patients. I'll elaborate a little bit. When visiting a branch of a very large practice in Wolverhampton where I was from originally, there was always a load of hassle. I would always need major double appointments, X-Rays, the need to return for Scale and Polish etc. And of course a nice fat three figure sum to follow it. None of that applied earlier today. In my initial check-up-NO X-Rays, no messing, no "you need this that and the other" and instead of making a big song and dance about having to consult a Maxillo-facial surgeon to have a broken tooth out he said it wouldn't be a good idea today as it might spark off "sympathy tooth ache". I was advised to leave it for a few weeks then return to have it taken out. So my dental work was done in 20 mins,competently and to a very high standard. I also got a free speedy polish which would never have happened back in Wolverhampton. So I can absolutely recommend Dr Altaaf Hathiari and the practice 44 Dental Care. Finally the reception is very small but very clean and tidy and the staff are as keen as mustard. A great experience for a visit to a Dentist and would recommend absolutely.

The staff at this practice always provide a very professional, friendly and patient focused approach. I can without hesitation say that Dr Hathiari is the best dentist I have been registered with and I am over 63. Dr Hathiari has many years of experience in multiple areas of dentistry and always explains the treatments to patients clearly and at whatever level is appropriate to the individual patient concerned. The practice has been able to continue to provide essential treatment and routine inspections and cleaning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Adaptions have had to be made such as manual descaling and extended appointment times when aerosols are being generated during for instance drilling. All the other necessary precautions are being taken with PPE and extensive cleaning regimes to ensure the safety of staff and patients. Dr Hathiari is so dedicated that after having to have urgent medical treatment himself has initially adopted a phased return to work so his patients requirements can still be met. I have no hesitation in highly recommending 44 Dental Care to people for all their dental care needs.

I have been to a few different dentists in Leicester and have to say that this one is by far the best experience I've had. The staff are all very friendly and Altaaf, the dentist I see, made me feel relaxed and under no pressure. I asked about getting braces because I had crooked teeth. I was a bit nervous about it and had put it off for a while, but Altaaf went through all the different procedures possible. I choose to have the clear aligners which worked out to be the best solution for me. I could wear them with out them being noticed at work so were perfect. Also it was a painless procedure in my case. Throughout my procedure I was looked after to the best standard and any problems I had were quickly dealt with. I now have a set of perfectly straight teeth, exactly what I wanted! I've also had normal teeth care from them, such as cleaning and scaling and am very pleased with the service. Front tooth crown replacement I have recently had a front crown replaced by Dr Hathiari at 44 Dental Care. The crown was originally fitted 36 years ago, by a previous dental practice, when I broke a front tooth in an accident. I had the crown replaced about 15 years ago, to try and get a better cosmetic appearance, but I have never been 100% happy with the crown. The shape or colour, was never quite right. The crown finally broke and Dr Hathiari advised a new crown replacement. The crown now is as close to perfect as I think I could get. Size, shape and colour are as close to my original teeth as I think possible. Dr Hathiari is extremely professional yet very caring and gentle in his procedure. I was kept informed and advised of all aspects of my treatment required to get the crown colour and fitment as perfect as possible. I am very pleased with my new crown and am happy to recommend Dr Hathiari and 44 Dental Care to others.

I had to have a tooth removed recently and was really nervous because of bad treatment from previous dentists in the past. Dr Altaaf Hathiari and his Dental nurse, Kerry, put me right at ease immediately by talking me through each step. They were very kind and made sure throughout the whole procedure I was comfortable, relaxed and in no pain. The tooth came out without any pain or fuss which was a great relief. I am on warfarin which can make dental work complicated, so Dr Hathiari had me stay in the surgery a further hour to check every 10-15 minutes whether it was clotting correctly before sending me home which really made me feel looked after. I also got a call the following day to make sure I was feeling okay. After being in pain for several months and being mistreated by previous dentists, it was a complete breath of fresh air to be treated with such kindness and professionalism by this dental surgery!

After not having visited the dentist for a few years due to being frightened of the treatment, I knew I had to go when a tooth broke. So I took the plunge and telephoned 44 Dental Care. The receptionist was very helpful and got me into see Dr Altaaf Hathiari. He had a good look at my teeth including an x-ray and then explained exactly what treatment I was going to need whilst reassuring me that they would make it as painless as possible. I have now had all my treatment: extraction, fillings and a visit to the hygienist. Every step of the way they have managed to deal with my anxieties and put me at ease. I can highly recommend the team at 44 Dental Care if you are as nervous as myself. Now I am back on track with my dental care I should only being needing to go every 6 months which is a big relief.

Extremely professional and always friendly. I would recommend anyone who is not happy with their smile to get it fixed at 44 Dental Care Leicester. Dr. Hathiari and the Staff are great. They involve you at every stage to make sure you understand what is happening so you get the result that you want. They have transformed my smile with a great skill! I had the Invisalign braces for about 12 months, follow by Enlighten teeth whitening system and finally five porcelain veneers on the top of my teeth. I am very happy about the result and can finally smile! It's been a long but pleasurable journey and I really am thrilled with the results! My daughter is also with 44 Dental care and she is definitely not scared of the dentist. I would certainly recommend them as a dental practice without hesitation.

I am not local to Leicester, but I am commuting for work. The receptionist was nice and professional, and I booked an emergency appointment for acute tooth ache. I was initially told by the dentist that I needed two root canals urgently. They then proceeded to book me in the same day, within a couple of hours. I had Dr. Mead, who was hilariously, lovely and put me right at ease, talking me through the entire process. He was thorough, I hadn't slept for an entire week and he made sure I was completely comfortable. When I asked for more local anaesthetic, I received it, and I felt next to no pain. Going to the dentist is never nice, but this was a lovely experience, as far as dentist visits go. I would be happy to register here permanently. Fantastic staff, brilliant service.

Utterly outstanding! I cannot recommend this practice enough. After a terrible experience with a failed extraction at another practice (not their fault just my awkward tooth!) I was referred here and I was met with kindness and compassion by all staff involved. A particular thanks to Deb on reception who couldn't do enough to help me get sorted when I was facing long waits in severe pain, she is a credit to the practice. The surgeon was so lovely and clearly very experienced and really put me at ease during a rather unpleasant procedure. Aftercare was fabulous, including help and advise when I needed it and follow-up calls weeks later just to check I was ok. Definitely recommend :)

Excellent service. I first came to 44 Dental after having a bad experience with another dental practice. Ali and his team have always shown great care and always put myself and my family at ease whenever we visit. Ali is amazing and has saved 2 of my teeth from removal by giving excellent treatment. I have never felt an injection when given anesthetics whichbi think is amazing. During lockdown Ali prescribed antibiotics for me when i was in pain with an abcess which was absolute life saver for me. I went to this clinic after being to many In Leicester with no success in treating my tooth. I went to this clinic because they got 5 stars reviews on google. After been to this clinic for few months now, I knew why they got 5 stars. They care about their work rather than money. Dr Haithera is humble and polite and always smile in patient face. I have received excellent care this morning...My front teeth was chipped off...I was able to get an appointment the very next day whereas my actual dentist wouldn't see me for 2 weeks...Dr. Altaaf Hathiari and Claire was really professional and extremely friendly. Dr Altaaf Hathiari is a very competent dentist! I was never quite satisfied with the dental work I received from 'other' dentists in the past. I would like to just provide an insight into my experience at this surgery. I was recommended this practice by a friend, as I was looking for a dentist which was close to the city centre. Al is an exceptional dentist: gentle and very knowledgeable and the fist dentist I have been to who wouldn't sell me unnecessary treatment. The staff at the reception desk are very welcoming and my daughter was comforted by the reassuring nurse. It was highly recommended and I was not disappointed! Thank you

I had to visit this surgery to see the dental surgeon as I had to have a tooth removed and my regular dentist referred me as there could have been complications. I was very impressed with the dental surgeon and his assistant. They made me feel very comfortable. My daughter, now aged 25, and I have been patients of Dr Hathiari since she was a child. We trust Dr Hathiari because he has provided both my daughter and I with a second opinion following other dentists recommendations for work that wasn’t necessary. He is so kind and gentle that my daughter, when she was little, used to ask me “when are we going to see Dr Hathiari”. How many children ask to go and see the dentist! I am so very pleased that he is our dentist.

I'm not really one for writing reviews but sometimes I feel compelled to. In the past I've had a very bad dentist and in turn I had a very good one when living in Nottingham. Since returning to Leicester I've tried and failed to find a dentist I can trust until I went to Mr Hathiari. I hate going to the dentist, but 44 Dental made it so much more acceptable. I needed treatment and was sorted out quickly, efficiently and painlessly, even in these difficult times. I had a broken tooth, was booked in near enough straight away, had a temporary fix to solve the immediate problem, then had an appointment for a permanent repair, which has just been completed perfectly. I cannot say more, and no, I am not on commission :o)

We were referred to this practice when Mrs Mead was there, as a family we were dreading anew dentist especially our daughter who had an awful experience with a different dentist years ago. Dr Al and his team were and continue to be polite and professional and always make us feel comfortable and in control. Considering I had spent most of my life dreading going to the dentist and avoiding it until recently. Dr hathiari and his team have changed that completely. Was referred to this dental practice and was anxious as my dentist struggled to take out my tooth. I was in and out of the practice within 20mins tooth free. Very nice helpful people, squeezed me in within a hour right before the double bank holidays. Could do better at explaining that your prescriptions are NOT covered by the check up fee like they say but it will be reimbursed instead. I have just returned from an emergency appointment after returning from a trip and contracting a gum infection while I was out of the country. The practise were so sweet and brilliant about booking me in and the dentist I saw really knew his stuff. From being upset and in pain, I am now happy and comfortable in my recovery.

Every visit has been superb they have a friendly receptionist and all work on my teeth would be explained before hand and implemented without any problems . Got me in as an emergency appointment within two days of being referred to them, app was on Sat AM, painless tooth extraction, done within 15mins. Good advice for after care given after surgery. All in all it was a pleasant experience for a not so pleasant tooth pain.

Had a really check up today. I’m really pleased and I was made to feel super comfortable. All the treatment I’m due was explained to me really clearly and I was made to feel at total ease. I feel like I’m in really good hands.

Had a wisdom tooth extracted here last week. Although I was never really nervous to begin with, I felt at ease the whole way through. All the staff were very nice but Surendra is the man when it it comes to tooth removals.

I’m on time for appointments and I’m kept waiting 99 percent of the time, worst dentist I have been in ever. Still have a pain after tooth extraction. Would not recommend this practic.
