Worst 7-eleven ever!! My mom went to redeem a $9 winning lottery ticket and the employee tried to steal the money and say it was only a $2 winning ticket until my mom checked it again in front of him. After he was caught he then proceeded to have an extremely rude attitude when she asked to redeem the winning ticket for lottery tickets. When she tried to ask for another two tickets he told her to hold on and then got very angry with her. He called her the b word several times and told her that she was making his job harder. He then refused her service and told her to get the f word out of the store. As she was leaving he called her the b word and waved at her. This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. I will never come back to this store again because of this horrible employee.

I will not be returning to this location the black guy working the front counter at 8:40 am was disrespectful and even tried to hit on me at the beginning your there to work not trying to pick up girls at your work then since I was not giving him no attention he started banging the counter making me feel real uncomfortable even tapping hard on my drink making me feel uneasy there's this scanner that you scan the drinks without items and he was banging that on the counter he was a creep to begin with I was beyond disbelief how a person be acting like that for customer service??? He was disrespectful made terrible comments and made me feel uneasy I could only image how he acts in public! Never going to this location EVER AGAIN!!!!

The clerk workinng that evening, an african american male with tattoos on his face, had been told by a customer 2 people in front of me, to forward the change of his $20, approximately $18, to me for whatever i was purchasing and that didnt happen. The man who attempted to pay for my items stopped me outside the store and asked if what he provided was enough to cover my items and i told him i paid for everything i had. I was disappointed that the clerk was dishonest and a little on the rude side to me. I go to this store regularly and may not return to this location again.

Worst location of all 711 in San Diego. They close the doors to mop the floor at lunch time. Is this even allowed? Such a terrible location and clearly not convenient at all. Convenience is the purpose of 711. Not here! Waited 20 minutes to go in by the guy blocking the door said the chick inside mopping would take 5-10 minutes. Definitely not! Even when I left after waiting 20 minutes the doors were still closed. Who ever owns this store losing money.

I went for a slurppee, and it wasn't fully iced so I commented about it, when the guy wanted to charge me $1.69 ripping me off on a EBT refill, I also got lectured by the Dude who poured on me like a drunken alcoholic. He flipped his lid off, and chased me out when I told him "I hopped he wasn't drinking on the job". I'm sure the Dude wants to put his life together, but these are anger issues that need to be worked out before he hurts some one.

Edit: Staff is much more friendly and the store is being maintained appropriately now. Outside the store is quite seedy and abysmal however this is a trolley stop downtown and there is nothing they can do about it. Disregard Below: kept only for transparency reasons. Very rude staff. Place is filthy. If I were on fire and this was the only place to get a fire extinguisher I keep walking by. Skip this one.

Rude rude rude. The young lady at the register was very rude. My first time in the store, headed to work, had no idea you can’t bring backpacks inside. She yells at me from across the store. To make matters worse, the “security” guy was standing at the door talking and not paying attention. He could have said something to me. My first and last time at this store, even if it is convenient…

There’s a cashier there that doesn’t wear his mask and is rude to customers who buy more than one slice of pizza. He was being rude to me alll because I was buying 6 slices, like my guy you’re the closest thing other than papa John’s(I hate papa John’s), like if you hate your job just say that. I mean honestly this 7/11 is always having issues and the cashiers are always rude .

The price is not working good to hear I don’t know why it always doesn’t have coffee they don’t like work or you don’t like business this is very bad for the customers off employees you have to iron a good employees good communicate with people always fighting with people always a day to close the shop without ours is Chyna always not good for the business for the owner

It's okay store depends on who's working. Some of the employees are kind of flaky and you got the ones that are happy go lucky that will put a smile on your face. It can be a pretty dirty store sometimes have fully stock coolers are down freezers are down you just take a chance when you go in there. Love the pizzas better than Domino's Papa John's Pizza Hut.

I don't know if it's 7 eleven policies of theirs that their employees still ware masks when their in the store at work like it is in other stores but the employees don't ware masks and they didn't even when it was the CDC rule that they do I suggest if it's is required that employees still ware masks that you check out your night time employees

This 7-11 is not one of the better stores to shop; there are frequent new clerks who aren't knowledgeable about the products or services that are offered such as reloading various cards like PayPal or other prepaid cards. Also, there are rarely hot foods ready for consumption by consumers. Not the best 7-11 to purchase from at all.

I have shopped at your store for over 20 years and your day crew have yelled and screamed at me to leave my backpack at the counter. I complied at their request and my backpack was stolen. Are you going to replace my backpack or you don't care. I guest as you are making money I don't make a nothing a difference

This is the worst 7-11, in San Diego, it's mostly the staff, they are very rude, they never have coffee, or it's out, dirty area, if they can't deal with the customers they shouldn't be there, and why would an employee were a hoodie over his head while dealing with customers, very unprofessional.

This City College location is my favorite because it's right off the trolley & staff is so patient & kind w/ me. I love their Purified Water 7 Select & I always load my Cashapp Card there & only there. They have a Security Guard too, so I feel safer going there at night.

Workers never wear masks and give terrible service. They take forever to fulfill customer requests and give an attitude. People can cut in line and employees will not do or say anything. Desperately needs a new team that can handle the store and it's downtown customers.

I hardly ever lose 7-Eleven anymore but I love their food but it's so filled with so many calories and cholesterol and fat I especially love their cheeseburger bites and their pizza and their Italian sub sandwiches so deliciously fattening and tasty at the same time!

OMG this store is off the chain dirty it seems they have different standards for the night i seen the clerk chase down a shop lifter cuzzing, the floor is like walking on fly paper, and the customer service is like a grab bag you never know what to expect.

Close to where I live but the only problem I have is one of the employees of the store when I went the other day sprayed me in my face with a bottle of water down bleach and I was instructed to leave without the items I paid for just because I am homeless

Do not buy anything here unless you want to get sick. Their freezers were broken, and they were still selling things out of them anyway. I bought warm water and they wouldn’t even give me a cup for ice because it cost $.75. Hope that was worth it!

I'm pretty sure the homeless people own the 7-Eleven stores throughout Downtown. This one must be their flagship store. I say that, because this one is The Worst. P.S. wasn't being open, like all the time, the whole point of 7-Eleven?

If you value your health, do not shop this location. The clerk who waited on me was not wearing a mask and when I mentioned it to him, he went off on me, asked me to leave, and as I was leaving informed ne he hated white people.

Rude girl working behind the counter. She lied about her name. No name tags. Management was nice. I don't like being a Karen, but california needs better customer service. I've never left a bad review. First time for everything.

For the volume of business that this place has these people do a really great job keeping it clean and stocked and providing quality customer service and the safest environment they can provide considering the location

Customer service is nonexistent. Do come in if you want to be ignored and not spoken to at the cashier's desk. Although it's close to my apartment I will not be returning. The floors are also sticky.

I had to wait until the cashier finished checking her phone and then she acted like she was doing me a favor and then she was charging me for a product another customer left on the desk.

Met a new friend. He seemed really nice and offered me a ride home. I gave him my phone number and he is supposed to be calling me today but he must be really busy with work …

A very bad 7-11 location, but it would be almost impossible to run a standard location here. Constant flow of homeless and addicts make working here tough. Great job employees!

Although the stores Debit/credit options weren't working, the only employee in the store handled herself professionally & gave each customer great customer service!

Pizza displays was empty for slices as always. I couldn't go in 7-Eleven because they close and I don't know if that was the owner or manager blocking the doorway.

Fast service but the floors are DISGUSTING! and the bars are always a mess I know it has a lot of foot traffic but it can stay clean if you want it to be.

Slow to restock items, certain shelves are visibly empty. Nacho product bags are missing yet nacho condiments are present
