Appalling customer service. Very disappointed... My wife and daughter went into the store to purchase new tubes and tyres for my daughter's bike on 11 January. When installing them, I noticed that one of the two tyres had much more wear than the other. (Being brand new tyres, there should be zero wear!) Upon going into the store today to swap the worn one out, the attendant insisted that the tyre was new! He proceeded to scoff loudly and dismiss my issue, even going to far as to say that if he was installing it on his daughter's bike, he would just do so because he would know that its just cosmetic, inferring multiple times that I was being petty. A quick look at the pictures will enable any reasonable person to come to the conclusion that the one tyre does not look like the other. He eventually agreed to give me a credit and, since they had no new stock, has committed to calling me when (genuinely) new stock arrives. (Although, this credit remains outstanding some 8 hours later!) To add insult to our collective community, he stated that he would be placing the returned tyre BACK ON THE SHELF FOR SALE! This is absolutely unethical and, in my opinion, should not be condoned. We are very disappointed with the terrible service and, post getting the swap-out, cannot see ourselves returning to that store (with whom I have previously spent hundreds of dollars).

Was looking for a new bike as a beginner. I spoke to Alex and she seemed completely uninterested and disingenuous in assisting my questions. She overwhelmed me with technical terms that I didn’t know about as a novice and didn’t explain any of them. I kept explaining that I was starting from scratch and didn’t know much about bikes and now I feel even more intimidated about something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, which I explained to Alex multiple times. Very disappointed in the customer service and even more disappointed that I am not able to ride a bike.

I dropped in to get a bike seat and I must say that it was a delightful experience. The young man who served me was very knowledgeable, polite and kind. He did not try to sell me a more expensive seat but one that was best for me. He also gave advice on another matter. While it was busy he did not rush me away. I was very impressed! I recently bought two Merida esculpta bikes for my wife and myself and they are absolutely amazing!!! Max and the staff made it a fantastic experience and went above and beyond to help us. The store excels in customer service.

Mechanic side of business: Friendly, professional staff who most importantly know what they're doing Prices are certainly not bad and if there's ever an issue with my bike diagnosis is pretty quick. Shop side of the business: Friendly staff again with decent prices for most things I've checked out. I've bought and been bringing my bike back to the Indro store for most of my work since they were at the last store location, so good job on quality work.

Went into 99 Bikes Indooroopilly twice recently and James helped us out - best customer service! James patiently accommodated all our requests to customise the bike to suit my son; he took the time to kindly show my son around his new bike; and then he helped us fit the bike in the car. So I went back there for assistance on another bike the next week, and again he was amazing and went the extra mile to fix a problematic chain. Total champion ☺️

Max from 99 bikes Indooroopilly was awesome. My partner and I came in not really knowing what we wanted or price range. He had heaps of knowledge and matched a bike that suited our needs. He didn’t try to upsell and was truthful when we asked questions. He went out of his way to fit the lights, and help us chuck it in the car. Wonderful service. Thanks team. We will be back in a month for the free tune up!

I'm an older, overweight lady. I was a little scared of going to a bike store. Not once did I feel unwelcome, awkward or embarrassed looking for my bike. The guys that helped me were glad to help, informative and super nice. I was helped from the moment I walked in to the store. I was treated with respect & sincerity. That means a lot to me. Thank you Max, Sam, Craig for making it not awkward or embarrassing.

Fantastic team at this shop. The salesman was able to identify the specific part of my SIDI shoes I’ve been trying to replace immediately, and showed me a partner company who could service me even quicker even though they wouldn’t make anything off the small sale. Great staff; and I will absolutely be back for my next purchases.

Always excellent service by the team at 99 Bikes Indooroopilly, both the sales & servicing teams are very helpful & very knowledgeable about everything bikes.
