Shantriece (the manager) is by far the worst person I have ever encountered in the hospitality industry. I have never experienced such an unprofessional and disrespectful stay and staff in my life. When I checked in, I noticed there was blood on the walls. It was my birthday and a friend of mine got me the room. I was on my way out to dinner. So I told the front desk that I would change rooms upon my return because we had reservations. When we arrived after dinner, we couldn’t get in with the key. (It was after hours). We were buzzed in and immediately Shantriece greeted us with hostility. I explained to her that the room was booked by a friend so my name wasn’t on the room. I understand having to confirm the guest details before issuing a key. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for many years. However, she stated that he had to physically be there. She was so rude. I told her that I think he was far and it was late. However I contacted him anyway. I then asked her if I could just have the key to the new room. Bc I gave them back to her when we decided we were too tired to move. She then stated that she sold the room. How could you sell a room that was assigned to us bc of the blood on the walls in the initial room? She then began to talk negatively about me to the guests who were standing at the desk. When my friend arrived he was irate because he had to come back there. He became belligerent and abusive. Rather than call the police on him. She called the police on me and my party. She had us escorted off the premises by the sheriff. Her attitude and lack of regard for my safety was unacceptable. Speaking about me to other guests is unacceptable. Being a bully and blaming it on policy is unacceptable. She was so hostile that my friend began to record her so we could protect ourselves. I am flabbergasted and have never been more embarrassed in my life. I am so disappointed in Marriott. And I definitely will not be back. But I felt it necessary to share my experience, especially since I had a friend who had a bad experience with Shantriece the year before. She clearly is unfit to deal with people. And doesn’t have the patience to deal with her clientele. Again, I can’t believe that I had to endure this on my birthday.

I'd also like to add that breakfast isn't actually $15. It's $15+$3 mandatory service fee. In short, $18. This is why people don't trust businesses. Instead of being direct and honest they play games. In response to the message from management, you will never have me as a guest again. Especially since you make no effort to correct the problems. Platitudes are worthless. Action matters. Furthermore, I informed the conference that I was in town for of the issues. Hopefully they won't recommend you all in the future. I certainly do not and I encourage people to steer clear if only because of the predatory way pricing and basic amenities such as parking for guests is handled. Original post: Considering the price, you would think parking would be included since they would be accommodating guests who traveled there. But hey! I got the great low rate of $15 because it's a group rate! (that is sarcasm) The staff were quick to inform me that I was luck enough to get a discount from the usual $25 per night parking fee! This seems like a way of increasing prices in a sneaky manner and feels very dishonest. And the exhorbidant $15 breakfast where most motels will provide the rough equivolant for free and it is an indicator that you are seen a walking wallet by the hotel. Furthermore, not having a bag in the trash can and having mold in the shower are both concerning. The floor of the shower was also slippery, which is an indication of either poor cleaning or poor design. Lastly, the TV remote requires an infinite amount of patience since you have to have a jewelers precision in order to get it to do anything, let alone enter your username and password to access your Netflix account. Over all the staff were friendly, although I really wish they would speak louder in the noisy lobby. If you are a person with any mobility or hearing needs, I would not recommend this hotel at all.

This brand new hotel is very contemporary, exclusive-feeling and has a distinctive modern look to its design. I enjoyed the items that were unique as compared to other hotels such as under-cabinet/bench seat lighting and hanging doors that slide open and closed. Note: the bathroom door does not lock and although frosted so nothing can be seen inside, the shower door is a similar feature with no frosting. Just beware if you have guests traveling with you that you may not want to see/hear you whilst using the bathroom. The amenities include a standard weight room and tiny (tiny) pool. Im not sure why they have this pool, it's not achieved the same modern feel as the rest of the hotel. It seems forced, as though it checked off a box for the online portals and apps so they could indicate they have a pool. Parking is free and readily available, they have valet but it's unnecessary unless you just don't like parking your car yourself. Parking was available on ground (next to entrance) and all lower levels (garage). The staff are kind, helpful and respond to needs quickly. They go over and beyond what is asked. For example, I needed an additional trash bag so when they brought one the nice lady brought two sizes and two of each, "just in case." I thought that was exceptional! Lastly, the hotel offers no complimentary breakfast but for $15 you can enjoy AC Kitchen which is a contemporary breakfast including quiche, cereals, yogurt and various meats and cheeses. I thought it was odd they offered antipasti for breakfast but I found myself trying it out, great fresh food.

Although this Hotel seemed new and clean and the front desk staff service was great unfortunately I'll have to say my stay was just ok, some of the reason's were out of the control of the hotel itself such as: *Noise from people's cell phones alarm very early in the am. *People being loud and obnoxious late in the night, and just generally talking loud. However there's a few things where the hotel can improve such as: *Better water pipe insulation so they're not as loud when people in other rooms are running the water. *The bathroom doors don't provide any privacy at all. * Pay attention to guest details when a room is requested, we asked for extra towels in our bedroom and we didn't get any. The most important detail that needs to be done something about is: ***Other guest are coming into the hotel after smoking marijuana and lingering elevators and hallways with that awful smell, not caring for other guest or children; I think the hotel should have a policy in place for these people who have these types of habits or have some kind of breathalyzer at the front door and all entering areas as well as automatic air fresheners specially in the elevators, because not only is a bad smell but it can get small children sick!!!***

Relatively new building with fantastic, modern rooms. Comfortable beds, decked-out bathrooms, friendly staff, and great amenities (e.g. filtered water dispensers on every floor). My room was fairly spacious, and the floors were hard wood (or laminate), which is something I really appreciate because it seems like it's easier for them to keep clean. My room had a desk and office chair that were great for work, and a small fridge that was good for leftovers. Parking was a little wonky, but fine once I figured out what was going on (ignore the "Valet Parking Only" signs outside -- those are for the restaurant nearby). Things they had but I didn't try: a well-equipment gym and a bar/restaurant in the lobby.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean and modern. The rooms are not quite as luxurious as other hotels we have stayed at for the same price point. Parking was $25 per night for self-park with in/out privileges. Most hotels in Atlanta charge way more for parking. We did not have breakfast here because it was priced at $20, which is way more than literally every hotel we have stayed at. Unfortunately, the AC in our room was not working properly which lead to headaches and feeling sick during most of our stay. At the end of the trip, the manager took good care of us when we finally decided to ask for maintenance to check the AC. One huge flaw related to design is the bathroom! The door is a sliding glass door which leaves you with zero privacy when using the toilet. The location was great and easy parking made the stay good for going out and about. Note: The hotel address never worked on Uber so we had to constantly cancel our ride or tell the driver where to pick us up.

Unprofessional and poor customer service. The manager and the front desk lady are liars and failed to prove that my credit card transaction did not go through, as they falsely stated to overcharged me. The hotel refused to prove to Booking.com and me that my card was declined. They never provided any declined transaction receipt from my credit card and refused to refund me the overcharged amount. On the other hand, I proved that there wasn't ever any decline transaction on my credit card. Booking.com honored my receipts, documentation, facts and refunded me fully after charging the hotel the amount refunded to me. Don't be fooled by this hotel in an upscale Atlanta area; there are much better hotels in the area charging the same price or less for a better stay and customer service. I'd rather pay more and be treated fairly and with respect. I'd give the hotel another try if the incompetent manager is no longer associated with that hotel.

Not a good experience. Booked a KING room to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday. Got to the hotel, my card was charged, & no one confirmed the type of room that we were getting. So, I just assumed everything was good. I get to the room just to see 2 small double beds. I go back to the front desk to ask if they can fix their mistake. The agents looked at me like I was speaking Spanish. They then proceeded to tell me that they overbooked and decided to move my room since I had a discounted rate. They also said I would have to wait until the next day to switch rooms. Tried to speak to the manager and he was rude and offered no type of additional assistance. That is unacceptable. Why would y’all charge my card BEFORE confirming the room and then act like we don’t matter at customers. After this, I’m done with Marriott. Never again.

If I could rate 0 I would have. Where do I start, if you value your safety this is NOT the place to stay. I stayed 2 nights for my graduation. The 1st night my car was broken into in the parking garage that I paid to park in. The damage to my vehicle was over $600 to get the windows replaced because 2 were broken out. I feel that my stay should have been free with all the frustration I had to deal with. And I almost missed my college graduation due to having to try to sort out this mess. There was glass every where including my babies car seat. The hotel said they didnt even have a vacuum I could use to get the glass out the car and babies car sear. Very unacceptable. Will never stay there again nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

I had a great stay, clean rooms. It’s so many areas to shop and eat. Room and customer service was excellent. There is only one downside and I understand it’s nothing someone could’ve controlled but on the last night of my stay, the fire alarm kept going off for a little over an hour. It scared me out of my sleep. No calls to say it was a false alarm. Like I stated before , overall great experience and look forward to staying there again.

Great location Great price Great design and decor Poor customer service! I hope that management of this particular location implements some sort of sensitivity training as it relates to customer issues. I had a minor issue that was at no fault of the hotel but the way the gentleman at the front handled me and the issues left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I hate to say it almost ruined my day. The worst part about it is the agent that I spoke to on the phone the Friday before I arrived to the hotel was literally standing right there as I explained my concern and not once did she step in to support me as the customer. Please improve the customer service!

Positives - a/c worked great, hotel was clean and front desk accommodating. However, for the price you pay here, we were disappointed. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. That is the main gauge for our hotel picks - if you can get a good night’s sleep or not and this place was a no, unfortunately. We were not informed that parking at the hotel was $25 for 1 night, which seems excessive (for that much we would have sought other options and walked). No exhaust fan in bathroom. We canceled our return trip stay here and booked at Hampton Inn Marietta - free parking, more comfortable beds, includes breakfast and save $50. You live and learn.

The concierge was extremely rude from checking in to having guests come by. She gave attitude about it all. It wasn't a pleasant experience for me or my guests. The hotel is in a very convenient location. It’s close to everything literally. Inside and out the hotel is beautiful. My cons are no microwave in the room. The rooms are really small. The sink was not clean to expectations. My rental car got broken into alongside 10 other vehicles in the hotel parking lot. The manager Jaquay deserve his manager title he was very nice. Josh was very friendly. The entire staff was very friendly and kind. 10 outta 10 for hospitality. If it wasn’t for no microwave, small room and my car getting broken into I would have stayed here again.

Located in Buckhead - the most desirable place to be in Atlanta makes this place a great stay for various activities I always liked the AC hotel - modern lobby, efficient service, nice bar, and up to date look and feel. This one definitely hit the mark, especially with convenient parking below the hotel. Check-in was a bit slow due to demand but no major issues. Bar was nice and fairly crowded, definitely a well frequented hotel. Very easy to get into and out of as it wasn't too large. The rooms were spacious enough, a bit minimalist but the typical aesthetic for AC. Decent size shower, comfortable bed, internet works well. Overall good stay.

The hotel was really nice. People were nice as well. Bartender did an excellent job. When arriving it was loud in the lobby area due to the convention thing place. Maybe have a bar not so close to check I as it was crowded around that area. But when in the room, you could jot hear a thing. Very quiet. Also needed conjoined rooms. But instead was given room across the hall. They are as accommodating as possible. Over all. Great hotel and great experience

It was my anniversary so I thought the pricey hotel and best room would be great. NOT, I was told the restaurant that was advertised was closed, I was told NEVER was room service offered? If I could keep the desk clerk attention long enough to check me in and look at me would have been great. All of Outside smelled of marijuana. The kids who stayed in the hotel never slept. I picked the top floor hoping that would cure that, I guess they have money to. Overall, I wouldn’t give this place a star, but it’s required to send this in.

Aaron, the Front Desk Agent, was so awesome. Traveling from Michigan, I’ve stayed at this location before and the great customer service he provided is why I’ll always return. Due to Covid-19 reasons, my flight was cancelled and I was never going to arrive in Atlanta that weekend. Aaron was able to calm me down, assist with my cancellation and gave some encouraging words too. He was very knowledgeable and kind. Be proud to have him on your team! Thanks, Aaron!

I wanted to stay here because I watched it being built and was interested to see what the stay would be like. All I can say is that I was NOT disappointed. The hotel was nice, the service was fantastic, the location is EXCEPTIONAL. But the smallest touch, that made the BIGGEST impression was the SMELL of the hotel. Apparently they pump a fragrance through the hotel through the vents and it is SPECTACULAR. As soon as you walk in, it just smells SOOOOOOO GOOD!!! I wanted the fragrance for my house!!! It was amazing. Great stay!!!

Brought a friend just released from hospital. Stephen & Aerial were WONDERFUL. Stood by the car & waited while my guest composed herself enough to get into the wheelchair, waited till we were comfortably situated in the handicap room before leaving & promptly came back w/extra pillows & blankets. One of our favorite hotels in the area. Close to everything. You can walk to the mall/Lego Land. Soon as you walk in the front door you can smell a fresh light scent. Everywhere we visited was within 15 minutes of the hotel. All of the staff were nice. Definitely will visit again

The hotel is very clean and very modern. However, the issue I had was about the service. The room is not cleaned or serviced daily unless a request is made; however, that is not written or communicated at the time of check-in. Even after I called to get my room serviced, I did not get anybody. It was quite disappointing. Also, the toiletries did not match. Hotel is nice, clean, and modern, but I expected a bit more of a 4-star hotel.

Seek not ye respite here weary traveler. For the staff welcomes, restaurants to fill your belly abound nearby, all the worldly luxuries are at ye feet, but the mattress betrays its modern entrapments. A sleeping surface matched in comfort only by old testament stone alters. You'll want to sacrifice yourself after sleeping on it.

The room was clean, the view through the window is awesome. They also have a large parking space specially considering the prime location. However, they ended up charging my credit card for a service I didn't use. The excuse given when I contacted them was that "it was a mistake". I find the excuse to be lame and unfitting for such a big place.

I didn't feel the most comfortable because I felt the room wasn't cleaned well. Staff seemed slow, with a full name on the ID and you look up the reservation under the first name, not the last (even after saying the complete name verbally). I'm not sure if they are understaffed or simply not completing thorough disinfection and sanitation of each room after each guests stay.

Great customer service!!! From the time you enter your engulfed by a fragrance that is so calming and welcoming, wish I asked what it was I definitely would love to buy some. The room and bathroom were pretty spacious and decorated nicely, the bed was very comfortable. The AC Hotel feels like a chill spot, wish it had a balcony, but would stay there again.

The hotel is very nice is right next to Phipps Plaza and has a crosswalk to Phipps Plaza which is extremely convenient. The room was small. The sliding door for the bathroom does not provide much privacy. Do not want to hear people using the bathroom. Overall, the stay was well and the two workers at our check-in was very nice.

The service is fantastic. The room was very clean, but all "hardwood" floors could use a rug, at least by the bed. There is a fee for parking and for faster internet. Breakfast is available, but had to go elsewhere for a full dinner. I would absolutely stay again! Great value for the amenities, location, and cleanliness.

I extremely enjoyed my stay at this clean hotel. Only draw back was when we made the reservation it appeared that breakfast was included; however, it is a la cart, but you were able to get coffee/tea and orange/apple. You won't get full off of that. But I would stay at this hotel again.

Beautiful hotel with a friendly staff. Room cleaning was not available while we were there but they were quick to bring anything we needed. Wish they had the tapas selection in the bar but the bartender quickly told us about a restaurant nearby that delivered and they were quite quick.
