Doctors here charge $70 upfront, $40 Medicare rebate that is put back on card and $30 is charged to patient out of pocket. I wonder what is the use of paying Medicare if everything is no longer covered. Australians should not be bragging about free medical etc when Medicare levy is over $2000.
