I am one HAPPY customer right now (although my mouth has waken up after being numb most of the afternoon and throbbing). I've been going here since I was a little girl with braces. However, the last time I was here I had a horrible experience which caused me not to even want to come back, so instead of letting them know what my displeasure was I stayed away for quite some time before today. I was too stubborn to come back and I definitely wasn't going to allow another dental office in my mouth. To be honest I was absolutely terrified of what was going to happen today and it showed in my blood pressure numbers but I had Carolyn (I hope I spelled her name correctly) and she took EXCELLENT care of me. I trusted her and her judgment and decision making and Dr. Edwards made sure that I was in good hands with the both of them. As I was checking out after services were rendered I was dancing and singing Beyonce' because I had conquered my fears of being back in the chair and the first part was over and done with. Although I'm still in a little discomfort but it's only because of my own doing and not so much of Advanced Dental. So next time I go back for the next phase I'm going in knowing that I'm still in good hands and hopefully my BP numbers will reflect that. Thanks Advanced Dental for the AMAZING customer service experience, you guys ROCK!!!!

I have been pretty impressed with these folks! I am a terrible coward dealing with anything dental, and have been reassured and feel comfortable with the staff of this facility. I have seen Dr Garcia she was very kind and understanding, and provided honest treatment options. Dr Villarreal, with whom I had a wisdom tooth extraction using the nitrous was fantastic. IV sedation was offered, but I was brave enough to get through it with the nitrous. It was easy breezy, he too was kind and patient. It was an overall good experience with no complications. I had a cleaning with the dental hygienist Kat today. She was great, listened to my concerns and gentle. I had nitrous, as I do have real anxiety, and the process was painless. Im glad I found this office, and it's super close to home too, as a bonus! I'm sure dental professionals get fed up dealing with people like me who have dental anxiety, but everyone was very friendly, sweet, and would highly recommend this office.

I recently visited Advanced Dental Associates on Nacogdoches Rd for a LANAP procedure. This is my second visit to this office in August 2023. Prior to this I had not visited a dentist for about 10 years, I have terrible anxiety at the dentist and simply avoided caring for teeth as a result of the fear. I found that this office had amazing reviews and decided to go for it. The office staff is amazing and fully explained all the steps that I would go through during the appointment. Dr. Long was so personable, professional and kind. Madison was also amazing and helped me a great deal during my procedure. As I write this today, I finished the LANAP procedure and could not be happier. A already I feel more confident and I am so happy choosing Advanced Dental Associate for my dental care. If you have concerns or anxiety about visiting a dental office try this office, I don't think you will be disappointed. Thank you to all the staff at the Naco Office.

This was my 2cd visit to this clinic for my actual LANAP procedure. I arrived on time and they took me back to sign papers and pay for the prep and procedure. They hooked me to blood pressure and pulse ox . Gave me 2 pills to relax me and applied nitrous oxide for me to breath in. It took about 15-20 minutes for me to relax enough to almost fall asleep but I was always awake enough to follow Dentist instructions during procedure. I felt the injections to numb my jaw for the procedure but it was very brief. I felt zero pain for the actual LANAP procedure and post procedure there was some soreness to my back jaw but it was minimal maybe 1/10. For any of you out there considering periodontal surgery with a scalpel instead of a laser on would definitely try the laser first. This clinic has been excellent and Dr Long has been doing this for quite some time. It is now 9:00 pm the day of surgery and not feeling any pain.

FANTASTIC dentist. I have been beside myself, as I have visited FOUR dentists in the past 8 months, trying desperately to find resolution to my periodontal issues. Dr. Long is a consummate professional. He took care of my issue with alacrity and ease. God bless you and THANK YOU for your help with my poor gum issues and my teeth misalignment. Unless you've ever gone through horrible dental advice (everything from "leave it alone," to paying $20,000 for a partial, not a FULL fix to getting veneers that would not fix the problem, to come back for five years until we figure out what to do!!!), you've no idea how traumatic it can be. Dr. Long was wonderful, understanding, and I left with REAL solutions to problem. Thank you, thank you Advanced Dental Associates!!!!!

I had a Monday morning 8:30 AM appointment, to which I checked in the alloted 5-10 minutes prior. (After more than 5 reminders texted, emails and phone calls) I sat patiently waiting for my appointment for 30 minutes in the lobby. I then inquired again to the front desk, reminding the staff about me to which, surprise, I was seen for 2 minutes and my appointment complete? I was also thinking because of your new/old paper masking up policy due to Covid, I believe you should re-train your staff of protical to speak to your patients face to face , no mumbling and directly at your patient to ascertain information needed. These are my personal thoughts and for that I give you a 2 star service for this appointment.

My wife and I were searching for a dental practice that was more about what we needed and not about how much can you afford ...... this was the place! They were more focused on a care plan, than pulling all your teeth and going all on 4 implants. This was the 4th practice we've gone to and our last. The staff were very welcoming and professional. Doctor's Edwards and Long took the time to discuss and develop a plan to get us back to health that made sense to us and to our finances. I wished I would have discovered them years ago. In house financing is available if you have no insurance or need additional funds. This office is highly recommended. If you need work, don't wait and make an appointment!

The entire team, including the staff and nurses, exuded a remarkable positive and cheerful attitude, which significantly contributed to my relaxation throughout the procedures. Dr. Steve Edwards stands out as a truly wonderful professional who took the time to explain the various options available for my dental work. Unlike my previous encounters with other clinics, there was absolutely no pressure to commit to costly treatments. As a result, my ongoing experience with Advanced Dental Associates has been consistently excellent.

Everyone ths I came in contact with was so polite professional, and so warm welcoming. I'm not that great with names but the dental assistant and the doctor both female they was So Awesome! I've never met the doctor before it was my 1st time there meeting her,, and just by my last name the doctor remember my wife and asked how was she, and told me my wife is a great person how awesome an amazing is that! I don't like going to the dentist but Advance Dental Associates I wouldn't mind them taking care the rest of the teeth in my mouth. Thank you for helping me! Sincerely A patient for life

I've been coming to Dr. Edward's office since he was at the old location. We've always been super, super pleased with the customer care. I had a cleaning yesterday with Kat & for the first time I felt like she was just way to fast. I was in and out of the chair in 20 mins. And really got zero feedback when I asked her questions. She isn't the most personalable. Felt like she was ready for me to leave for her next patient. But as far as Dr. Edward's and Dr. Malitz and the few other Dr's I've seen well they are the best of the best. We will always be patients here ! Front desk is awesome too !

Everyone is very friendly. Very easy process from beginning to end. What I like the most is we're not rush, no judgements, they just want to get you back on track on where things should be. No pressure. Practically no wait time. My daughter and I went with them since my husband who is so picky and don't really want to see any kind of Dr. gave them a really good review. I'm letting my other 2 daughter know how great they are so that they can go there too, of course it depends too who their insurance are. Dr. Long is awesome. And Deborah who has gentle hands is great too.

All staff are very friendly. The place is always clean. Dr. Long and Mrs. Paige are the best. I finally love love love getting my teeth clean thanks to Dr. Long. He put my braces in last year and now that they are off, I love to smile for the first time in a while. Also, Mrs. Paige does a phenomenal job cleaning my teeth, and it's a painless visit. And a big shot out to Madison. Whenever the staff needed help with my braces, she was right there by their side. She never said no when they needed her help for anything. I really appreciate that. Thank you to all the staff.

Nancy is an absolute pleasure. She is easy to talk to, very thorough and knowledgeable hygienist, gives good sound advice, listens to my concerns, makes sure they have all updated info pertaining to my meds, & is an overall delight. I look forward to seeing her every 3 months. She has the highest regard for her patients & is genuinely concerned for their wellbeing. She is definitely a great asset to Advanced Dental practice! There are not enough stars to rate her, or her professional skills. I highly recommend this practice.

I just can't seem to say enough good things about these guys! I had to go for a cleaning yesterday. I was prepped for another long and painful (sensitive gums and retired military) event. It was my first cleaning with a civilian dentist. Not only did Carol ease my fears, but she also made my experience painless (ZERO pain!) and surprisingly relaxing! It was so amazing that I gave her a giant hug afterward. Incredible staff that truly cares about their patients. They have a happy patient for life from me and my spouse!

The care I received from my Dental Hygienist, Alexis, and Dr. Steven Edwards, DDS who examined and repaired a chipped front tooth was outstanding. My first visit/ appt here and I was pleasantly pleased to say that this was unlike any other dentist office I’ve been to…in a good way! Everyone was very pleasant, and they promptly got me going (after I’d filled my new patient paperwork out…probably my only critique, as I thought I was going to be sent the forms digitally to fill out beforehand, but not that big of a deal). The dental assistant who got my X-rays done, the one who took pics of my mouth & teeth, and my doctor were all great!

Advanced Dental staff are awesome! Dr Edwards is so personable & really makes you feel like you’re his only patient. Paige is a wonderful hygienist! She, too, is personable & is very interested in her patients. She is such a joy to be around & her smile is infectious. She takes time to explain as well as listens to any & questions. The front staff are very welcoming. Have been with Advanced Dental for many many years. Thank you AD staff for all you are & all you do.

I was really pleased with the service I recieved at Advanced Dental today the staff there are very friendly and helpful and above all caring for their patients. I had a wisdom tooth that needed extracting they they were able to go ahead and get it done the same day and within a reasonable amount of time to. Dr. Edwards is what kept me coming back to his office. He is kind, understanding and patient. He has helped me with my family. I’m so glad he has Adrienne. My hygienist, Adrienne, is the best one I’ve had in a while. She is patient, kind and caring. She is very thorough, understanding and takes the time to help me with any questions or concerns I may have. The office staff and other dentists are super friendly and kind. This is a great dentist office.

ANY type of dental work brings a tremendous amount of anxiety on me. Dr. Edwards and the assistant (can’t recall her name) were amazing today. Since Dr. Edwards is aware of my anxiety, he always takes the time to explain each procedure and what to expect as far as pain or feelings that I may feel. The assistant was constantly aware of making sure I was comfortable at all times. Today was a good day

These 2 timing liars told me they wouldn’t charge me for the laughing gas because it didn’t help at all when I got my wisdom teeth taken. Then they called me and threatened me if I didn’t pay. Kinda wired how they only charged me for the teeth removal and then said I didn’t pay for the laughing gas. You should have charged me, but you didn’t because the nurse said not to. Horrible place

I have been going to Dr. Edwards for years, my son and my daughter as well. Everyone is so friendly and professional. Today I had a procedure done by Dr. Castillo, she was amazing, she was sweet, kind and patient, she made sure that I felt comfortable at all times, I felt no pain at all! The receptionists were so friendly! If you are looking for a dentist, this is it!

I called a week ahead to confirm my new insurance was on file and to make sure that they would have an estimate of cost. Just to show up and have re- explain everything I did the week before. Dental Service is always great never an issue with procedures or cleaning. Just planning on repeating your self more than 2x and have patience when you get ready to check out.

Great staff and doctors. Very thorough and up to date equipment. Update: I just cannot say enough good things about the doctors and staff. They are committed to helping me through something that no other doctor has been able to figure out and it just might be working. The atmosphere is also so chill and relaxing but professional at the same time. Just great people!

Today was my initial visit with Dr. Castillo. She is an amazing doctor. Dental assistant was also superb. This is such a great dental office! Very professional yet friendly. They make you feel at ease. I will definitely be recommending my friends and family. Cannot express it enough, if you are in need of dental care look no further. You will not be disappointed!

Hands down awesome place. I've been through a couple dentist. I smoke it's a problem I understand, and so do they. It wasn't an issue for them at all. I've got a great smile and was able to do it with the help of their financial team. That sets up plans for you with you by you. Their great. Also an amazing kids program for my daughter.

All the staff was very friendly, professional and thorough. The only improvement I could think to suggest is that when scheduling for an appointment, the front desk should ask if the patient would like to get the exam and cleaning all done at one time. Other than that, the office is efficient, timely and ensures patients are taken care of.

Had my 2nd and 3rd visits to Advanced Dental and continue to be impressed with the entire staff. Adrian handled my procedures both times and did an outstanding job. Hygienist, Paige, is always so considerate and gentle. She knows what she is doing and takes her time making sure every cleaning is done properly and explains in detail when there’s a question. I have had several dentists and all have been wonderful. Caring and honest is how I would describe everyone at this practice.

I have been going to see Dr Edwards for almost 20 years. Each time I see him, he ensures I completely understand the procedure that is being done, proper care in the future after the procedure, and assures any questions are answered . I never feel rushed. I feel like the utmost care is given to me. Highly recommend !

Very nice dental office, the staff were all very welcoming and friendly. My one issue was that I had to say no about 10 times for upcharge services. At every corner they asked if I wanted the more expensive services and seemed put off when I kept denying them. Other than that, very pleasant.

Pain free experience! Minus the fact that at the previous appointment I had gone to due to pain on the right side of my mouth…. They worked on the left side and I still can’t chew with my right side and the doctor said there was nothing wrong with my right side Everything else was amazing

My hygienist Kat does an amazing job at cleaning my teeth! I’ve been going to her for years and she helps work around my dental anxiety. I would recommend her to anyone who may be nervous for their dental visits because she is so gentle, kind, and good at what she does!

Service was great. The reminders while effective became redundant and annoying. Maybe better to send an email at 30 days, 1 phone call a week out, and a text the day before and one hour before.
