The best bar in Hayes Valley - we’ll rounded in good food, low prices, fast service, great vibes. Happy hour: 5/5. Great discounts on pitchers, beers, and food. 10 wings for $10! Plus, drinks work out to be about $6 each. For my gluten free readers, they’ve got a cider on tap and margarita pitchers during HH. Plus, lots of food discounts. Food: connected with the bird and super duper burgers, there are lots of options. The melty cheddar cheese always makes me feel a little gross after, but that comes with the turf. Avoid the nachos, get the fries or the tots. The naked bird is gluten free - a rice batter coating - and add some fries to make it a meal. Don’t go spicy or you won’t be able to taste anything for an hour. You’ll still probably ignore this because “you can handle it”, but just get ready to be humbled. Doesn’t add to the experience, just go regular. Drinks: they’re good - nothing to write home about. On the cheaper side, and it comes out quick. Games: lots of table games in the back, but even more sports games on the TV. Come here for championships and it’s a good time.

We stopped in for a quick dinner and drink before a show as Chez Maman and Fig & Thistle were both packed. This place is not up to the hayes valley standard! My boyfriend ordered wings and tater tots, I ordered the salad plus chicken. When I asked about the ingredients in the salad because I’m allergic to tomatoes and bell peppers, the bar tender said she didn’t know what was in the salad, only that it was pre-made. Weird but ok, desperate times call for desperate orders lol. The food was fine, but we had to ask for silverware twice and ketchup many times (never received). The beet was fine and red wine awful but I should have known better when I asked the server for a glass of Pinot and she said there was only one option by the glass and she had no clue what it was… my only other option was a half bottle which she also couldn’t identify other than it was red… lol! Waste of 87 dollars and do not recommend. Tots were good though!

3.25 stars. 3 stars for service, 3.5 stars for food. Ordered 2 soda -- no straws provided unless asked. Ordered 2 burgers, a tater tots, curly fries -- mo silverware/utensils, no ketchup. The older lady who seemed to be the boss on the floor scanned for used/empty glasses (soda) to take away without first asking if we want refills. When I did ask if refill was possible, the answer was a "yes" with reluctance. Certainly, I didn't ask for a 2nd refill despite being there for more than an hour. Burgers are about $10 each and per my estimate, they are not that great for that price. The fried stuff was good, but pricey as expected. Would I come back for the fried stuff? Maybe. Others? Unlikely before/until I finished trying other options in the area.

Cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, nachos, tater tots, fully loaded curly fries, great drinks and a server who literally remembers the last few times you were there and what you ordered and I would say that’s a recipe for the best time ever! Music in the background and the people you love right beside you…memories are made, life is shared and everything else seems to fade away. We can literally say it was worth every bite, every penny so I hope you go in hungry, order something from the menu and #enjoy ✌❤️ This is definitely a 4 and only has room to keep getting better ❤️

i initially liked this place. good food menu (you can order from the Bird and Super Duper). good happy hour. however i went on friday and service was a bit suspect. my sister left her phone in the bathroom and someone took it. asked the hostess/waitress and she went to look, but couldn’t find it. what’s funny is that we were pinging the phone and could hear it, but then someone turned it off. we told her and she went to look one more time, and voila, it shows up. not sure if she just knew someone had it but thank you to her for giving it back. not very interested in going back after this experience tho.

Prices seemed reasonable at first, but my bill was automatically closed by the electronic host system and there was no way to modify it. I was charged a "times are tough in SF" fee, and then apparently was feeling quite generous, because it automatically decided I would leave a 20% tip on top of all that. We had next to zero interaction with staff, so automatically charging 20% tip is absurd. I have half a mind to dispute the charge on my card at this point..

We’ve been here a few times and there’s always a good number of people but you’re still able to find a seat. Most recently we stopped in for a quick bite and drinks after going to a game and it was the perfect place to wind down on a hectic Friday night. The food is casual but yummy and the service is quick.

Discovered this bar recently. Been going through Hayes Valley for a long time but not usually in the evenings. Really cool spot. Made some good drinks. The kitchen is open till 11 which was nice. Just had some loaded tater tots but I saw them serving burgers and other things. Looks like it could be a busy place on weekends but it has tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Service was friendly and seemed to know many regulars without ignoring others coming in.

Super friendly staff. Plenty of screens with sports, but not too loud to enjoy. Karaoke was going in the back room which was fun to hear but also not overwhelming! The chicken sandwich from The Bird was really really good.

They were awesome about not putting cheese in our fries because my friend is a vegetarian.

exelent service great food and fun young beautiful bartender she was pretty awesome and supper efficient she knew what to offer for my taste and didn't disappoint at all food was pretty good and all the staff seemed to be in sink and happy it takes a special group to make a bar feel like a second home before you've had your first drink

  • Hannah Hoyt

The outdoor space is great for social gathering but it’s really all ruined by the staff and how they interact with guests. They all acted like it was the most inconvenient thing in the world that we wanted to get a beer at 10pm. Definitely not a nice experience. Very bad service. Was also incorrectly charged for items we didn’t order

  • Isaac Barak

Awful experience here, rude and disoriented staff, messed up pretty much every drink we ordered and the bartender (tall ginger with a beard) was insanely aggressive literally yelling at us after a new waiter messed up charging us and left us waiting for the bill for 10 minutes. Shame on this place for this experience.

Super fun bar in Hayes Valley! We had a great time, good drinks and yummy food! The staff is very friendly too. Wednesday nite was trivia night which everyone enjoyed and we got a free pitcher of IPA and goodies for coming in second!! Definitely recommend the place.

  • Rachel

Cocktails are delish and they serve amazing late night hot food that hits the spot. Unlike the other reviews on here, I found the staff to be quite pleasant and attentive. Nacho chips could be salted vs current unflavored chip but that’s minor. Still five stars.

You absolutely have to try the spicy chicken sandwich. It is amazing. Whatever else people might want to critique, this sandwich is amazing. 10/10

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great food and plenty of space in the light filled back room with long tables for office happy hours. There are multiple tvs plus some games. Really great space!

  • Johannes Glatz

Incredibly rude staff Bartenders pretend not to be staff to not serve you, and just generally are rude, make you feel you're interrupting their free time for asking for a drink

  • Tyler Schmidt

Easy table QR ordering service. Good outdoor seating. Has a great happy hour, sports on TVs and is centrally located. Probably one of the best sports bars in Hayes valley.

  • Neal

Great spot for a happy hour with outdoor TVs, games, good drink selection, and all the bar food essentials (and then some thanks to sharing a kitchen with The Bird!)

  • Anoop Patel

Nice staff. Only had garlic fries and a couple drinks. Beer selection is very good. Clean, friendly, hip vibe. Will definitely come back.

  • Josef Aukee

Casual sports bar with elevated bites. Friendly and informed staff is helpful. Backroom with games makes for a festive atmosphere.

  • Randy Culpepper

Ignored by staff, got my burger wrong, shorted me on fries (and the ones I did receive were cold) No reason to ever go back

  • Einstein Jr

It's fine just a simple sports bar clean nice and food. I don't know who's idea the white tiles were but it was a mistake.

  • Jericho Lindsey
