Very frustrating to walk into an ER. Wait 30 minutes to see the doctor for her to refuse to assess my son-in-law because they didn’t take his insurance. My son-in-law was very ill and in pain vomiting constantly as the doctor walked in she immediately had a bad attitude as she proceeds to Wash her hands put her gloves on. I was trying to explain to her what was going on with his symptoms conditions and how long it had been since he’s been throwing up she stopped and aggressively told me she wasn’t interested in what I had to say that I needed to let the patient speak. Again he was vomiting and not feeling good. She demanded to know who I was. My son-in-law at that point was having a hard time speak and was frustrated because she would not listen to what I had to say. After she checked his heart rate, she backed away, looked at me and said now what do you have to say? At that point I said not a thing I told my son-in-law to grab his paperwork and we needed to just get out of there. The nurse walked in told us it was gonna be $500 for the visit and if we wanted the doctor to assess him further. It was going to be $2400. I explain to the nurse that the doctor was extremely rude, and that she needed to work on her bedside manner upon leaving my son-in-law, still sick and vomiting and very much in pain we left. I went to the pharmacist to pick up his prescription, and there was no prescription that was sent in after we were told that there would be a prescription for the vomiting. I would not recommend going here. It’s a disgrace that these doctors will watch a patient right in front of them helpless and sick, refuse to care for them because they don’t take their insurance!!! What a shame when they take an oath, and it all comes down to money I do not recommend this place to anyone!!

BEST HOSPITAL EVER I had already done a review after my first stay but I ended up making 3 more trips after that which sounds horrible BUT literally best dr/medical experience in my life. Everyone treated me so well and I really enjoyed my time there despite the reason I was there which was really painful/uncomfortable. I think I got to meet almost everyone who worked there and there was not one bad apple in the bunch! You can tell the employees are treated really well because they are happy to be there. There’s something to say about enjoying what you do and how that is reflected in your performance. Something different here is that you get real quality time with the Hospitalists and Doctors. Usually, Doctors are so busy they are in and out and you barely get to express your concerns or get answers. Not here! They really make sure you are heard and taken care of. I can’t thank everyone enough; I feel lucky to have had this experience because it really changed my view of Doctors and Hospitals. I know I’m going to miss some names, but I tried to write down everyone who helped me while I was there. Thank you, Deanna, Kevin, Bryan, Albert, Andres, Jaime, Mary, Linda, Tara, Kiana, Joseph, Dr. Dungo, Dr. Treworgy, Dr. Kholwadwala, Stacy, Kelli, Kimmy, and Shawn. Having raised children and grandchildren, accidents happen and I have been in many, if not most, of the local hospitals and urgent care centers. On 8/12/23 I was doing yard work in by back yard as usual for a Saturday afternoon when I accidentally got tangled up in an extension cord and fell off a ladder and my head bounced off a wrought iron outdoor chair resulting in a deep gash that bled badly and required sutures. I went to the newly opened Albuquerque East ER Hospital and was extremely impressed by the facility and the care that I received there. The facility is new and built from the ground up to provide the most convenience and best patient service and the staff certainly delivered beyond all my expectations. They have the best reception area, check in procedures, waiting area and consultation rooms of any hospital or urgent care that I have ever been in. The staff, from the receptionist, to the medical technician to the physician were all friendly, professional and efficient. I was taken care of quickly without much more pain and I really want to compliment Dr. Christopher Foster who cleaned my wound and stapled it closed. I highly recommend this Albuquerque East ER Hospital and Dr. Christopher Foster if you or one of your family members need treatment at any time in the future.

I went to the east side facility yesterday evening due to a suspected infection. I had earlier learned about the Albuquerque ER and Hospital from a co-worker who highly recommended this facility. The whole staff from the receptionist, technicians, nurses and physician were professional, friendly and caring. My wait time from entering the door and going back to an exam room was probably less than 2 minutes. The have an in-house lab where they quickly determined that I did have an infection and prescribed an antibiotic. The nurse gave me the first dose and called in the prescription to pick up at my pharmacy the following morning. The ER doctor was very nice and took the time to explain my condition and how to treat it. There was literally no wait time for anything except for the lab tests. I was in and out in a short period of time. This is a FANTASTIC medical facility and I highly recommend Albuquerque ER & Hospital!

I arrived around 1 AM on 9/10 in need of some help. Without too much detail about the reason for being there, I will say, I was very nervous and scared to be there. Each staff member was friendly and professional. It’s amazing when you are able to experience both quality and efficient care within the the medical realm. Again, everyone was great. I want to give very big thank your to the nurse there, but I cannot remember her name. She was a lifesaver. Serious in all the right moments and fun/professional when things started to get better. Huge thank you to the Doc that was there for listening to me and take care of me during my visit.. and thank you to the guy who checked my vitals as well. You all have a great team going. Only 5 star review that I hope I never have to return to. Thank you all!

I wouldn't go anywhere else. I was seen very quickly. The staff are all very competent , comforting and uplifting. They look at you as a whole person and not a body part. Dr LISTENED! Developed a good plan. I had ro be admitted. Private comfortable rooms and visitors are welcomed anytime. I received training from competent nurses and was able to continue my care/ infusion therapy in my home. I have had 2 pleasant experiences ; 1 at each location and I am certainly a lifer! And BTW if you have to drive there, 24 hour security to watch over your vehicle. Highly recommend. H not only for hospital, but also for hospitality and home when you have to be away from your home

My dad and I took my mom in yesterday afternoon after she had been sick for 5 days straight. The assistants, nurse, and doctor were all incredibly attentive and took her needs seriously as they ran tests to assess what was going wrong and made sure that she felt as comfortable and pain-free as possible. Even today, we were able to call and talk to the doctor within minutes when we had some questions about her medication and her symptoms. We are so grateful for such a wonderful, compassionate staff and clean, safe environment that is so rare to find in healthcare settings these days!!

Had to take myself to the ER nearly 5AM. I would have gone to the main Presbyterian ER downtown but Albuquerque ER & Hospital's newest location has been a great addition to this side of town. I'm very grateful for Dr. Dungo's care. I didn't expect to receive such great customer service and a last check-up by Dr. Dungo as I checked out as it was very unexpected and made the experience at this ER an even greater one. Thank you Dr. Dungo and team, and in addition to the front desk staff! They helped me get a prescription later that same day at the Walgreens across the street.

There was no wait and the front staff was very helpful. I couldn't stand and she sat next to me while I filled out the paperwork. I was taken right back, given a large clean room and a fluffy blanket. The nurses were quick and listened well. I was set up within 30 minutes of arriving. The doctor was thorough and made sure to communicate everything clearly. I had to stay overnight and was checked on regularly. My nurses were so amazing and I wish I could hug them both. They really helped make the whole experience easier and more comfortable.

It sounds ridiculous to say we had a great experience at an ER/hospital because, well, my husband was extremely sick and who wants to need an ER? HOWEVER, we had a great experience. Within 10 minutes we had been checked in, seen a doctor and an IV had been started. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. They provided excellent care for my husband and even called the next day to check on him. Hoping we never need to go back but if we need emergency care in the future, this is where we will go.

Had an emergency visit at Albuquerque ER and Hospital this week. From the moment we set foot inside these people were absolutely the VERY best. From the receptionist to the ER staff. Thanks to Dr. Foster, Deanna, Albert, Stacy, Kelli, and several others that I did not get names. They are professional, kind, caring and capable. Other "urgent care" facilities can learn a lot from these wonderful folks. . Heart felt thank you to all of the good people at Albuquerque E R & Hospital on Montgomery.

Got at the ER around 7 pm in a lot of pain on my right leg after getting hurt playing soccer. I couldn’t walk. I was seen very quickly, got an MRI, pain medication and around 10:30 pm I was sent home with crutches to help me to move around after the results came out saying that I had a tear on my hamstring. I’ll need some absolute rest and some physical therapy. No surgery required! Facility is very clean, and staff is extremely helpful and competent. Great experience.

I was able to get in right away and have an MRI done by paying cash after my insurance turned it down! They were efficient and professional and I had my radiology report back within hours! Thankfully I found out the problem that was causing me great pain in my legs and had surgery within 3 days! Thank you Abq ER & Hospital! Thanks for making care so accessible and convenient and reliable! I will be recommending many friends and family your way!

Nurses and staff were phenomenal! They took amazing care of me during my stay. They got me in and out in no waiting for a bed in the waiting room. They went above and beyond and made me feel comfortable. I couldn’t ask for any better. I’m glad that they opened this location so I don’t have to go across the city. I will be using this facility anytime I have to go to the emergency room. They have an MRI and CT machine so it was perfect.

I AM MORE THAN IMPRESSED, with the quality of service,EVERY BODY, PROVIDES IN THIS Hospital, from TECH'S ,NURSES AND DOCTORS,they treated me so wonderful they have compassion,emphaty,pacient and show Respect for pacients,plus take there time to provide care. Went in to get help with a terrible sore throat. Two swabs later I get a prescription for antibiotics and a $1000 bill. I was there for less than 1 hour in the facility. I was not asked if I wanted self pay rates, just told that I owed $1000 for a strep test. This is taking advantage of insurance payments with no regard for the patient. I will never return to this money grab business and I will tell everyone I know to stay away.

Staff was helpful. Dr. Was rude. Dr. also said she did blood work. When followed up with specialist appointment 2 days later there is no proof of any blood work being done in my chart. Was the only patient in the whole facility so can't understand why there wasn't time to enter information properly. Will not go back. Won't be paying for blood work if charged. Pretty normal Healthcare for NM. Certainly not striving to be better.

I recently visited Albuquerque ER and Hospital for chest pain and received exceptional care. The staff took the time to listen to my concerns, explain potential causes, and conduct necessary tests. Going in I had no positive expectations given my prior experiences with urgent/emergency care. What a pleasant experience it turned out to be. The facility was clean and felt safe. The staff were so kind and helpful. Nurse was helpful and very kind, and my doctor's bed side manor was incredible! No one likes needing to go to the ER, but if need be, this should be a first consideration.

I was experiencing a miscarriage when I came in to the Albuquerque ER. The staff was very kind and compassionate. They treated me with great respect and answered all of my question. After leaving, I received a phone call to check in and see how I was doing. They asked if there was anything else they could do to help. I have never had such a good experience going into an ER anywhere!

After my daughter was treated so well at the westside ABQ ER last year, when I had my first ever gallbladder attack, I knew this was the place to go. I arrived at around 12:30am on a Saturday night/Sunday morning and didn’t have to wait. Every single person I interacted with was kind and treated me with the care I needed. I cannot recommend ABQ ER/Hospital enough. They are amazing!

When we first arrived we were checked in and put in a room straight away! The nurses got in within the same minute and it only took 5 minutes for the main dr to come in! HUGE THANK YOU to dr jordan treworgy best dr we ever had you can tell he loves his job he made the hospital feel like a walk in the park and for that we are thankful! Very good location and amazing staff.

I had such a great experience here from the moment I walked in to when I left. I was greeted and taken back almost right away. The nurse took all of my info and the doctor came in in a timely manner. They did blood tests, an ultrasound on my knee and more test and had me out of there very quickly. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Thank you for taking care of me!!

Never felt so judged by my appearance or why I was there I went for help and was shuned and thrown out not even with a Tylenol just some harsh words that people like me are a drain on society and don't deserve help because we don't help ourselves which blew me away because I only ecame in this situation this year and they had no idea the things good things I've done

Awesome experience. I was seen quickly. Triaged, and diagnosed quickly as well. The staff and doctor were very friendly, engaging, and compassionate. I have since called them to discuss a particular matter concerning my diagnosis and the doctor showed compassion and a willingness to address my concerns. My experience could not have been better.

Wait a hour and a half for a doctor when they checked my insurance up front just for them to tell me they don’t accept my insurance. They were nice up front but that just really irritated me then the doctor came in talking about you haven’t been here that long. I wouldn’t have wasted my time if I was told y’all don’t Accept my insurance.

I thought that the Albuquerque ER & Hospital was very nice the women at the check in was very nice the Doctor that I had seen helped me with what she could but the only thing was that I couldn't get the help because the Albuquerque ER Hospital didn't take my Health insurance so I had to leave with out getting any help I went there for

Albuquerque ER was Clean, fast, efficient, courteous, the staff was professional and caring. Albuquerque ER went far beyond any visit we have ever made to a ER. All the necessary tests, blood test, cat scan were done on site. They seem to have everything needed. We highly recommend Albuquerque ER care fir your health care needs.

They are very fast, I was talking with a doctor (MD) within 10 minutes of walking in the door. They are very clean, everyone was friendly and they operate efficiently. I also received a follow up call the day after my visit asking how I was feeling. I highly recommend this facility, you won’t be disappointed.

Loved the convenience, close to home. Facilities were very nice. The staff and doctors were super kind and helpful. They treated my husband kindly and professionally. My mistake was not going to a in-network facility. But our ER visit was possibly a life saver. Thanks to those there those nights and days.

Staff was amazing very nice. I went to the back right away nurse and dr was there in room waiting for me got all my information put in IV and everything went smooth and I wasn’t there all day. I’ve told everyone about this place this will be my go to ER. I’ve never been to an ER where everyone is so nice.

ABQ ER staff was very professional, attentive and amazing. I was seen immediately and the nurse and Dr listened to my symptoms and took appropriate action. I would highly recommend ALBUQUERQUE ER. When you get approved by my insurance carriers, Medicare and United AARP secondary insurance it will be a great resource in the NE heights. Since you do not accept the above insurance my bill treatment would have cost $2400.00 so I had to leave and go to the Heart Hodpital. Too bad for your business!!

I went in for chest pains and was seen immediately. The administrative staff, nurses and doctors were very professional. They were able to perform x-rays bloodwork quickly, and efficiently in house. I give them all five star rating and would highly recommend using them for any of your medical.

This ER was absolutely wonderful. I had a very short wait time and the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. Doctor Treworgy actually spent time with me instead of the usual in and out I’ve experienced at other ER’s. He explained things to me and actually participated in my care.

Immediate attention. Mostly very friendly staff (slightly irritable night nurse). The ER was clean and had my tests run quickly. ER staff was very responsive and followed up by phone a couple of days later. This was a much needed addition to the medical care Herr in Albuquerque.

What a pleasant experience. I went in with an injured shoulder from slipping on the ice. I was seen within 15 minutes of my arrival. The facility has a full staff including doctors nurses and a full radiology suite with MRI. I will be back and recommend them to friends.

Very unprofessional front staff. They don't even bother to mention that they don't take medicad when u give them your card. Just expect you to wiat and then say you can opt out of testing and treatment. I understand it's a er but patients don't need surprise bills.

I was seen nearly immediately and was overall pleased with the outcome. However, we requested a disc to be made of my x-rays. We taking that to my Orthopedic Surgeon, there wasn't any images on the disc, thus I required more x-rays. No big deal, just inconvenient.

What an amazing experience!!!! I went in with a very very severe mountain bike crash (later transferred to UNM Trauma Unit) and received such amazing care from Dr. Tworgy, Dr Foster, Mia, Mur, Stephanie, and Ryan. They were so caring and helpful. Thank you TEAM.

Great experience at midnight on a Saturday. I’m a little nervous to get the bill, but when it’s that time of night you don’t really have a lot of options! No wait time, and all the staff we encountered were very kind. They provided care quickly and efficiently.

Went to ER with back and hip pain. A nice surprise that I was called in right after checking in. Every one was very nice and answered any questions I had. Doctors saw me right away and kept me updated throughout the visit. My go too place in case of emergency.

The hospital was extremely clean. I was seen right away. The technician's, nurse and Dr. were extremely polite. They explained everything in detail so there were no surprise of what to expect. I was in and out within 2 hrs and 15 minutes. Best ER visit ever!

Everyone here was so amazing, from the front desk to the lab tech to the nurse to the doctor. I was in and out in less than two hours, and felt extremely comfortable and left with a better understanding of my condition. Thank you guys so much.

They told my grandmother nothing was wrong and that her dizziness was due to vertigo… we knew something was wrong so we took her to Lovelace and turns out she has terminal brain cancer. Wouldn’t recommend my worse enemy going to be seen here.

What a wonderful change in my medical experience. The facility is clean, staff can't do enough to address your issue and make you comfortable. The physician spent time to address issues and answer questions. I did not feel rushed in and out.

The care given to the injury was great. The wait time for the results of the x-ray, and to finally speak to the physician for my son, was terrible. As we the people are required to have insurance, ER wait time is unacceptable.

They couldn’t accept my insurance so they couldn’t help me but I do appreciate that they warned me of that just wish it was done immediately instead of making me wait over 30 minutes while in pain from kidney stones.

Excellent care. Gave me a full workup based on symptoms and solved a problem that three other facilities said wasn't an issue. I am feeling much better now and will be able to fix the underlying health problems.

This place does NOT take Medicaid despite saying they do on their website, they don’t tell you until you’ve already checked in and are sitting in a room that they won’t do an x-ray, unless you pay out-of-pocket.

Excellent staff starting with the security staff, administrative desk staff, nurses, and Primary Provider. I hope I am never in need of their emergency services again, but would choose this facility again.

In Albuquerque, traveling for work. Got Covid and unbelievable dizziness. This place was amazing, nothing like going to a regular ER! I would go back there anytime.
