Today I tried to purchase some star wars figures, there are around 20 to collect and all have the same order number , I asked to view all the different characters they had in stock and I would buy all that I needed, the assistant said we don't view items anymore due to the snatch and grabs we have had, I said then how can I buy what I want, she said well you can buy them all and then get a refund on the ones you don't want , lol, I asked for the manager and she said which do u want. I can't remember all the names off by heart, she said she could radio the warehouse and ask what they had got in stock, I managed to get 3 figures, but if I hadn't of asked for the manager I would have left with nothing. IS THIS WHAT ARGOS CLASS AS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, BECAUSE I THINK IT STINKS. I have spoken to head office and they know nothing about stopping viewing, so the Argos Leicester, Belgrave gate Store Managers have made thier own rules up to ease the queues and not inconvenience themselves with customers who want to buy specific products. You should be ashamed of yourselfs you give retailers a bad name. Very poor, extremely unprofessional and really do not deserve my buissines.

Horrible staff. Told them that I would like to return a product but they made up their own policy stating that the catalog sticker was required and refused to return it. I was told to try to find the sticker and come back the next day to see if they could do anything else but was met with “the manager made her decision yesterday that it couldn’t be returned”. They made me go out of my way to come back knowing that it wouldn’t be possible to return the item. Spoke to customer services on the phone and they suggested to return it to a different store. Went to the Argos store in Sainsbury’s on melton road where they assisted and helped me with my return. I asked about the requirement of the catalog sticker and the worker told me that the store can put a sticker on themselves which she did. If you need to go to an Argos store I would recommended the Melton road one. Very friendly staff and I was out of the store in 5 minutes.

Very rude unprofessional bunch of lies customer service. The manager of store is racist they rob people. they have no ethics, The deliberately refuse to give me refund I lodge formal complaint about them. Argos said we can't do anything its all up to store manager's discretion and store manager said to Argos don't send this customer to Belgrave Leicester branch. Complaint department said they can't do anything and customers are on the mercy of store manager's own policy. I inform media and Leicester Mercury about their behaviour. They are untrained unprofessional rude and snorty racist lady with glasses purposely intervene to refuse my refund. I will not buy anything from Argos.

Wouldn’t take the item back even though it was well inside it’s extended Christmas guarantee. Saying I need to go to APPLE and sort it!! Excuse me but I bought it from Argos not Apple!!! Why should I go to the middleman?!! Anyway I drove to another Argos where they took it back without any problems!!!! Richard, sort your customer service skills out or leave the front and go and work behind the scenes where we do not have to encounter your rudeness and that’s putting it politely!!!

Ive always loved shopping at Argos Belgrade Gate. But when they put the new system in for looking up products I somehow managed to order two of one item and didn't know how to fix it. However it was very useful Christmas present for family member. So that was ok. Im a self confessed technofobe. I hate technology. But once I got to grips with the new system it was ok. Then straight to collection point. Brief wait. Never had to wait long. Pick up item and away. Job done. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Just wish they still had the catalogues to look through at home.

I had really bad experience wit Argos customer service .I had issues with my tv and 8 days I was calling this people but no response they gave me wrong number first then wrong email address n anyhow I get their number and talk to them and gave me wrong references number to solve tv problem.. How this people can do like that ?? It was very bad experience i m a regular customer of Argos ..didn’t solve my problem nor they ready to talk n when I call they take my name issues if tv and hang it up ?? Really this was very bad experience..... will never shop in Again ..

Be very aware of no parking without paying and display, i managed to get a ticket because i thought if i was shopping at argos you was allowed to use the car park. but its a £100 fine and reduced to 60 if paid within 28days. expensive parking for 16min in the car park. I did speak to the store who where helpful but they dont manage it. the staff member also told me she got a parking fine for her husband picking her up, went over the 10min free time by 1min!!! becarful staff are good and the store i cant fault but the parking..........well

No return policy for products. Bought wireless earbuds which are too uncomfortable obviously found out after one use but they refused to take it back even though I said you can deduct some amount for return. I prefer amazon now. Far better service for return. (Update) 1 star to 3 star now So finally my earbuds stopped charging and they still in warranty so got full refund staff is nice and helpful but still they should change their return policy. Or keep demo products so customers can try.

Brought iphone 7, really expensive, battery kept draining, only had it a few days, tried to return it but they refused, they had to get another 'tecky' guy to convince me that it couldn't be returned since i opened it... I wouldn't buy anything this expensive if i knew it was exempt from the money back guarantee....don't bother guys. Argos previously deleted my review for letting people know, but i think people should be aware before spending their hard earned money!!!

Big scam at @Argos_Online I have brought @GoProUK hero 10 950/9519 and it has free item with it ( go pro duel battery 795/0658 ) so time I bought they have said we don’t have free item at the moment so come back in 2 months and we will sort something out. I been to @Argos at leicester and the manager said we still don’t have free item and your time frame is over we can not do anything. @Argos_Online @GoPro @leicslive why you selling the item if you don’t have ?

A good shopping option for the Argos card holders or pay monthly facility. Which helps get important things as paying in installments interest free, is certainly an attraction for many on low income or those who can not fork out a lump sum for buying important things. Home delivery is always better than carrying the item in your own vehicle, in case you need to return any item for any reason.

Never ever go to this argos for anything other then argos products, no one has a clue at all I tried to collect something from ebay collection lol I was there for nearly an hour waiting for someone who knows what to do. It seems like no one has been trained pathetic poor in all aspects and at the end I got a parking ticket as I was waiting never again please learn from my experience

Disappointed with Argos! Have to pay for parking to collect an order this is why no one goes into town anymore! Argos don't let you know when you collect or on email that when you collect you have to pay, try and save money shopping at a 'cheap' shop and collecting so don't have to wait in or pay for delivery and then have to pay to collect at the car park, wouldn't bother going.

Told it would be 4 minutes for collection our number came up when we got to the counter it was not there the lady that served us said it's not here I will go and see if it's on the belt after picking the item up and putting it on the shelf she came back to us picked up the receipt again went back picked the item up stamped the receipt and walked off the worst argos in the land

Really upset! Ordered a lot of things online to be delivered today between 7am to 6pm been home all day , called customer services at 7:30pm to cancel order because i am travelling abroad tomorrow ,was told to wait till 8pm. I asked what time they close , the lady said 10pm. I called at 9:15 to cancel only to be answered by a machine that they close at 8pm on Saturday!!!!

argos Belgrave leicester: staff are useless, unprofessional and they aren’t heeding to their customer’s help. the manager doesn’t know how to handle the issue, they are busy for nothing. overall, customer services is a zero, they aren’t helpful nor are they doing anything. i will never buy anything at argos belgrave again for business management.

This Argos branch sells everything you need for any occasion. The only bad thing I could say is that it needs modernising definitely not the same standards as all the other Argos's in Leicester. Car park is quite a walk from this shop I would normally use a argos I can park outside. But is good if you are already in the town center.

Not helpful in lockdown. I placed the order for collection as it's not eligible for delivery. Order was confirmed and after ten days when I got there for collection their branch was closed. While live chatting to them, I urge them to deliver my order and in response they said... should cancel my order and refund.

The place used to be very busy at one time, but now a days it is very quiet there. A lot of the staff are pretty USELESS, especially the INDIAN ones. Get a lot of unnecessary hassle from them. Prefer to shop online or at the Fosse Park store when it used to be around. Now will try the Melton Road branch.

If you like to stand around waiting this the place to go to.Plenty of tills to pay at but no one on them had to 25 minutes to get served then 15 minutes for order to arrive at collection point.Staff a waste of time I will never use this place again hope they did better when it was GREEN SHIELD STAMPS.

Experience at Leicester city Argos. The store was not busy and I wanted to view a watch; I saw that many of staff were free and not attending customers, but none of the staff could help me the so that I can view this watch. It was Waste of time... "Very bad and unprofessional customer services"

Tried to buy an air fryer in this store, and they didnt have in stock... Then i choosed a different one, but it was out of stock also.. Finally i choosed an expensive ,and different one ,and surprisingly was out of stock again. Very bad experience, no control at all with the items.

I have bought so many items over the years from Argos as many other shops/stores do not sell them, or have good offers and pricing as Argos do. I am a massive fan of the store and this branch I have used many times is first class with customer service and produce range, 5/5 :)

Took in pushchair I was struggling to fit back wheels. Lady at customer services helped. She was so helpful even though the instructions were so complicated and couldn't find any you tube videos for demo. Very good customer service, we figured it out in the end! Thank you

If I could give 0 stars I would. Complete lack of customer service skills from the store manager Gary. I've shopped here for many years and will not be returning. Slow service and the shops always empty anyway. I doubt it will be around much longer.

Avoid the manager "Henry". If you happen to try and get a refund on something that does not work, he will demand an email from the manufacturer of said item explaining that it "Does not work". This is illegal, but he still gets away with it.

Good variety. Long wait for items. They call you to the collection desk when the item is still on the upper floor, and you have to stand for 5 minutes while there is no-one to serve you and the item hasn't arrived.

Very helpful assistant exchanged my camera bought yesterday for the correct one. It can be busy at times. Most things are in stock, unlike the new one wedged into the corner of a Sainsburys store.
