I love love this place.. my daughter has been going to summer camp since she was in kindergarten. The instructors are so nice and warm and the person that runs this program is super organized and very approachable. My daughter Loves arts and they do really unique things in the camps for the March break they made things with clay which were very unique. They encourage kids to use their own creativity and explore which is fabulous . The way the program is run is really good too they go to different studios during the day so you know your child will never get bored of doing one thing. Everything is run on time and I have never ever had an issue. I’m going to send my daughter here as long as I can and enrol her in some other art classes that they offer.. I also love all the people that work at the front and at the gift shop everybody is always smiling super friendly warm and extremely nice. I would give them a 10 out of 10 star if I could I highly recommend sending your kids here for summer camps winter camps and art classes.

I think this gallery is the heart of Burlington. It is architecturally beautiful and useful. The location of the gallery is perfect, right in the middle of the city. Inside the old city. Next to a beautiful park. There is a large exhibition hall, there are also exhibition rooms in the form of small rooms. Meeting rooms and rooms where various courses are given. It is completely open to the public, a place suitable for participation. There is a department for sale of goods. It is possible to find many works of art here, too. There are many souvenirs to buy from Burlington for your loved ones. The employees are friendly and helpful. The toilets and floors are very clean. It is obvious that it is a place where cleaning is done all the time. For this reason, I would like to thank the employees. It is a place where I am always happy to come.

On December 20th, 2020 my husband and I celebrated our wedding ceremony. Due to Covid-19 we struggled with many challenges and changes but the one thing that was consistent was the positive guidance of the management staff at the AGB. Angie, Gillian, Jessica and Jess did an exceptional job in coordinating our Christmas wedding theme. With every set back we faced with cancellations and restrictions, their positive input kept everything moving forward. Their attention to safety protocol made our guests feel comfortable attending our wedding during this difficult time. They went above and beyond right up to the day of the wedding to tend to our every detail. Our guests enjoyed the experience of witnessing our wedding at this amazing venue. Thanks again for making this day a memorable one. Barry and Lora

The Art Gallery of Burlington exhibits a comprehensive offering of ceramics, handwoven art, paintings and sculpture in a lakeside location near the downtown core of the city. A terrific permanent collection is always nice to see in the courtyards and corridors along with new exhibitions throughout the year. Our children have participated in several art camps offered at March Break and during the summer. They remember one camp where they created their own movies and thoroughly enjoyed it. I especially remember my parental pride when the camps displayed participant's artwork in the entranceway! A fine venue for meetings and community gatherings can be arranged too. Be sure to visit the Gift Boutique for some very special items.

1978年成立的 Art Gallery of Burlington 是加拿大數一數二的「Contemporary Canadian Ceramics當代陶瓷藝品」中心,四萬多平方呎的中心,收藏了兩千多個大小不一的陶瓷作品。座落在Spencer's at the Water Front

This was my third visit to the Burlington Art Gallery & I love it. There is such a variety of different mediums & styles to immerse yourself in. The gift shop is a pristine art gallery of its own & also worth a visit even if it is just to explore more beautiful works made by local artists. It is free of charge to visit. You can donate if you would like & they do have a number of classes you can register for for both kids & adults should you wish to develop your own inner artist. We also enjoyed the free art supplies area & found it quite thoughtful for the gallery to let visitors take unneeded art supplies home.

Amazing experience at the art gallery, the staff was friendly and the variety of pieces led to such a fun and endearing atmosphere. The greenhouse was our favorite part, as it was very beautiful and such a nice place to sit and relax for a few minutes. The store was also amazing as it was great to see them showcasing local artists from Burlington and Canada. 100% recommend it to anyone in the area to even just check out for a bit.

I came to visit on an early Saturday afternoon and had the place practically to myself. It was very peaceful and relaxing to wander through the building viewing the various exhibits of artworks. They also have a small conservatory (where you can even purchase small plants!) which I was not anticipating whatsoever. I found I spent a good chunk of my visit amongst the flora. Definitely recommend if you need a small (not to mention free!) time filler and are in the area!

WOW..... Thank-you Emma, Anji, and the AGB catering and gift shop staff..... your support and attention to detail was a key factor in a very successful event and evening..... together your Rotary and Shoreline rooms were the perfect venue for our 145 guest social and seated 4-course dinner..... your AV equipment was very reliable which made our program work seamlessly..... Thank-you

Stopped in to see the artwork of a friend of ours. Denise McKay. Her journey through the past 30-40 years as an artist. Loved it. Also viewed work for black history month and visited the atrium. Nice to be reminded of spring during this "mud season". My wife (in the picture) is also an artist. Look her up on Facebook, Anna-Maria Hartley with Abstrakt Decor. Cheers.

I always have an excellent time at the Art Gallery of Burlington. This visit was to see the biennial fibre arts show. We also explored this large building, finding the lovely conservatory filled with tropical plants and spending too much time in the enormous gift shop. The fibre arts show was truly inspiring! What a great venue to showcase local artists.

  • Natalia Ourban

Small Art Gallery with nice garden centre. Collection is small and as I understand mostly represents local artists. During my visit paintings, ceramic art and some whimsical sculpture were on display. There is no entrance fees, Gallery relies on donations. The boutique is very nice, a lot of unique gifts can be found there. Overall, worth a visit.

Great way to spend a family afternoon! Lovely outdoor gardens and lots of interesting things to explore and see. Fantastic ceramic artworks, interesting art exhibits, lectures, friendly knowledgeable staff. End you tour in the fantastic Spencer's restaurant just across the street with an amazing lake view.

  • Liam Winegard

A lovely gallery, the AGB is well worth seeing! It seems to have a big impact on the community also, with many guilds of local artists meeting there, and selling their pieces at times. Wonderful ceramic pieces on display, and an indoor solarium with exotic plants are among the highlights!

  • Bruce Pilcher

I am a member of a guild here. This is a great studio space for various arts: wood carving, sculpting, photography, weaving, painting, pottery, etc. The courses are generally very good. The studio spaces are great. I you aren't and artist you need to come her and he can become an artist.

  • Lauraine Woods

We took our two-year-old grandson here on a grey Friday morning. What a welcoming place it is. David Currey in the woodworking room gave us a demo and made up a dragonfly fly as a gift that delighted our grandson. Lots to see, reasonable parking fee, no entrance fee.

  • Harry Bradley

This is a lovely little gallery. It has the largest collection of contemporary Canadian ceramics in the world. Maybe not the biggest gallery but it's definitely worth a visit.

Let's salute Robert Steven for elevating the status, art, programs, accessibility, diversity, and special events at AGB. This place was singing under his leadership. His signature was on all the improvements and the staff were a great team under his leadership

  • Brittany Greenly

We held our wedding reception at the AGB, the staff and venue were exceptional. They exceeded our expectations and were so thoughtful and deliberate about ensuring our day was special. Both Anji and Pietro were incredible to work with and so flexible.

  • KingofSlice

A must go see for yourself and any visitors to Ontario. We spent fours hours there talking to painters, potters, weavers, and carvers. Everyone was so friendly. The gift shop is quite unbelievable. All Canadian artists and exceptional value. More

  • Natalie E

Lovely little art gallery, they have provided pottery classes which I attended years ago which was very enjoyable. Went recently for a craft show and it was a pleasure to visit again. The staff was friendly and helpful, will go back more often.

  • David L

Supposed to be open. Website says they are open. But they are not actually open. Just a piece of paper stuck to door that says they are closed. Hard to be generous with more than one star in this situation.

  • steve thompson

Attended a private business meeting here. Terrific venue! Easy parking, spacious room, great tech support with sound and power. Highly recommend this to any business type looking for presentation space.

  • Chris “Sirhc” Perry

Great location, we went for a celebration of life in the room at the front of the gallery. Didn't get a chance to explore the actual gallery, but will return on a weekend.
