Security issue today, someone proclaiming their innocence. Attempted theft according to the security guard when I asked. Does that mean nothing was stolen. Nothing that had not been paid for had not left the store? Or was their was a good suspicion that something had? No explanation was given. Only that he knew his job. The women and her children were very upset. They were about ten years old. She was asking the security what she had supposedly stolen. Once again protesting her innocence. The children tried to defend her. They were crying. Another customer started to shout at her in front of the children. The children were obviously scared. The atmosphere became violent. And your security did nothing to prevent him. I am never going to shop there again. It was very public and very distressing. But I have noticed how the security alarm at the exit seems to go off all the time. Its almost random. I have heard it go off every time I go shopping there. Sometimes several times.Trolleys lock, receipts are produced , and perplexed customers are allowed to leave. Your security seem to spend a large amount of their time going through other people's shopping. It seems unlikely that they are all stealing from you. As they are allowed to go. Receipts are being produced. It all has the appearence of being one false alarm after another. Its very distracting, and distressing to witness. It happens so frequently . Perhaps your security teams are identifying the wrong people. Multiple people are leaving the store. Maybe there is some error in your procedures. It could be that security tagging is not being deactivated on purchase. But I think something is seriously going wrong somewhere. It happens far to often. I think if you go shopping at Asda be prepared to be accused of shoplifting, and of the offence this causes, keep calm, because being falsely accused of something will make you angry. Do not be provoked . It is not actually illegal to be accuse someone of stealing. They may appear to assume your guilt, and they may not be polite. And they may not answer your questions as to why they suspect you. But only the police have the right to search you. Wait for them, they will investigate, and this may well clear you, if there is insufficient evidence. They do have to cooperate with the police. Everyone should. The supermarket is obliged to hand over video evidence. This may clear you. As It could be a case of mistaken identity, a malign customer, or even a member of staff may have accused you. Their may be no real evidence at all. Anything could have happend. Be patient. The police will find out. And remember you do have rights when it comes to false arrest, forced detention, and any use of physical force. They can be held for responsible for any mistakes they make. Get a good lawyer if this happens to you. Compensation is possible. Having a criminal record can be devastating, and accusers may not care wether their accusations are true, or false. It might even benefit them in some way if they are thought of as doing their job. But they can be held responsible. Defend your innocence. So put on your thickest skin and prepare for a miserable experience. But one of the most important things to do is to keep your receipt. Always request one from the self service tills. Press the on screen button. The till will not automatically give you one unless you request it, which I believe is a flaw in the system.

I came here to write a negative review and on doing so read a review stating the exact same thing happened to someone else, shocking! I visited this store with my one year old daughter, I had a look through the baby clothing section and picked up a few items however I decided I didn’t want them so put them back on the rack. I then went on to leave the store but when approaching the door I was stopped by security, who then said ‘where are the items you’ve just snatched’, I went on to say ‘sorry what items’, in which he responded the clothes you just stole from upstairs’. In complete shock and confusion I stated to the security that I hadn’t ‘snatched’ anything and in fact had put them back on the rack, while he stood just staring at me like I’d still stolen something i just offered to show him where they had been put, so I had to take the security to where the clothes were on the rack exactly where I’d left them for him to just say over his headset ‘yeah she put them back on the rack’. Then I was still walked to the entrance by the security like I was some criminal and weren’t apologised to for being accused of stealing instead of being asked. Absolutely shocking! Never in my life have I experienced this and can honestly say the staff are so rude. Innocent till proven guilty, the excuse the security man gave was ‘it’s just we had a gentleman come in this morning who picked up some items and then went to the toilet and came out without the items because he put them in his bag’, so because this happened it means you thought you had the right to accuse me of theft? And ‘it was just how you did things’ , what that I entered your store picked up some clothing but put them back instead of purchasing them? Are your customers not allowed to change their minds? What made it worse was they were looking into my daughters pushchair like I’d actually taken them at the beginning! Absolutely unacceptable, if I weren’t with my child I think the security would have had a ear full of abuse not only was it degrading but very embarrassing too. Won’t be attending this Asda again.

Due to the location of my current place of employment, I have visited this asda quite a bit over the past few of months. The level of service is terrible. Something needs to be done regarding the staff's attitude because it is so upsetting how unconcerned the staff appear to be in the morning and how they complain that they don't have staff to answer general stock inquiries. The Asda values need to undergo retraining. At the checkout, I selected a water bottle without a barcode. I asked a coworker if she could get me another one, but she said there was no staff, so I would have to get it myself. I did get it myself after picking up the water bottle once again off the shop floor. Once I realised they were all barcode-free, I spoke to a section manager. I simply stated that the big litre water bottles had no bar-codes and to prevent customers from grabbing them and wasting time; it is preferable to remove them from the shop floor. She gave me a blank stare before turning away. Although I was quite upset by her actions, I knew there was no point to even attempt to speak to hear again, instead I chose to write a review. The workforce, especially management, has to be retrained, as this behaviour is solely displayed to their staff. Hopefully someone from HR comes across this review and does something about it. Do better asda.

I am a regular visitor to Asda, Queslett as very convenient to shop there. Recently I raised an issue regarding potential health and safety concern when shopping there. I raised this issue with Asda customer service and they informed me that they have passed my details to Asda queslett but they will not update me re my concern. Hence I’m taking to google review. What I find each visit to Asda regardless of time of the day that Asda staff are filling up shelves which is absolutely understandable but they leave massive trolleys in the aisle with no gap for traffic flow. Many a times I have to squeeze pass to get what I want. Staff member do not even move these massive trolleys for ease of customers and do not even apologies. Sooner or later this can result in an accident. During my recent visit I asked this Asda staff re where a particular item is kept and she answered me without even looking at me and continuing to fill the shelves. This is indeed very poor customer service and impolite. This issue need to be addressed urgently

Today, Wednesday 7th October, I brought my elderly parents, namely 93 and 95 years old to shop in your store, which they have done all the years you have been open. They like to be independent and prefer to do their own shopping, while I do mine. Today, the day that the plastic bags are not available, the Assistant refused to help them pack their bags for life, which they bought with them. I feel that some desecration could be used with really old customers. Your Customer Service Manage, Paul said that they need not offer the service if the bags look dirty. My parents have only used the bags for life to shop as your shop and they have quite a few of them, so perhaps, if they are a bag for life, you can replace them for new ones. I think your policy stinks and I hope you don't get really old and need a little bit of help. They say, what goes round, comes round. Very dissatisfied. Heather Cherrington.

Staff are rude, customer service is degrading they wear always happy to help uniforms and they dont. The security are a shambles just look like they are watching TV, the isles are a complete mess and Di organised compared to others Asdas that I have been to, staff are busy chatting to one another like soul mates. The whole store is a mess they don't live up to Asdas vision and values. Empty shelves here there and everywhere when the stock is in boxes on the top of the shelves considering the staff are busy been soul mates they could walk around and unpack the stock the manager is no where to be seen very unprofessional Perry Barr is alot better compared to this store for excellent customer service and brilliant security the security at queslett need to be more active all the staff at queslett look depressed. The store at queslett looks dark

I phoned up reported it . Had a look round carpark. Went inside told security tto chexk cctv he had not been told about the van being robbed . He phoned me 3 hours later saying nothing was on camera . Lol . I asked him to check what vans came in and out aboit the time of theft. He said the cameras at front acess are controlled by a different company. End of in their eyes . Wont be going again . Crime can happen anywhere its how they deal with it of coarse . Transit drivers beware theg have a code to open and lock your van . Clever bastards .

had an issue with this store after a product made my young daughter ill, the costumer service lady was rude and had the attitude of a teenager when I tried to tell her what happened. I made a complaint with the costumer service team over the phone, who where very helpful and complety understanding, I was told the store manager would be in touch with me but his never happened. I have raised my concerns that this wasn’t the first time I had bought a product from this store and it had not been fresh. They clearly have issues with the products getting in the fridge within the 20 minutes allowed as why else would the products go off before the use by date. I no longer go to this store and I have never had a problem with products since.

Online experience was awful. I ordered packs of diced lamb which were not delivered and large yogurt which split and leaked all over the other items. I was not too bothered about this although it was a little disappointing. This was 7.30 on 12th September and having attempted to make contact with Asda for over an hour, I eventually managed to do so online and request a refund but they cancelled the refund for the Lamb. I've shopped in store since it opened at queslett, but since not being able to drive I shop on line . I have since ordered the Lamb to arrive early tomorrow as it is for a dinner for my daughter when she arrived from Newcastle tomorrow. Sadly no marinated lamb as I'd have liked to do this overnight. Rant over.

I have just had to pop to Asda to fetch pads for my aunt who is bed bound. As I was leaving the alarm must have sounded (not that I could hear it above the noise) so the security guy activated the lock on my trolley, which brought my trolley to a very sudden jolting stop! I have a hidden disability having had Cauda Equine and 2 x spinal surgeries, sudden jolting stop's can cause me great pain, they can put me in hospital, they certainly can make me extremely ill So I'd like to say thanks to the security guy, I now have pain shooting down my right leg! Well done I'll think of you all week. Maybe you should think next time you activate the trolley lock. Not all disabilities are visible

Yesterday I went to get my laundry washing liquid, but suddenly i start having a bad contraction and one of the costumer stopped to help, she called someone who works there, cannot remember the name 100% but i am sure it was Davis. He was sooo kind, so helpful and took care of me. I was scared, i had a silly laugh cos all I could imagine myself is giving birth in a Asda store But truly, I dont know much what happened, as I was in shock. When I derived back home, on the way I realised that i am not well, thanks God I get home. I should have listen to the gentleman and get the taxi back home instead of me driving. Thank you very much For your support and help. Micky.

Bought a 1Kg tray of fresh chicken breasts earlier this week. Well in date and kept in the fridge. Opened this evening to cook dinner and it was off. Thought I would phone the Asda Store in Queslett Road and see if there was a batch off or just an odd one. Got the phone number from the website. It then asks you if you are a colleague or a customer. Tapped customer and it then lists the website you can go to and then cuts you off. Just like that. Awful customer service. Just plain awful. With so many other supermarkets locally and many of them cheaper than Asda by a long way now, one would have thought customer service would be more important than ever. Obviously not.

Everything about this place is wrong, shelves are empty, bread is rock solid and usually thawing on the shelves still, nothing has any shelf life, my mother pointed out food to the staff which had expired and the following week the same stock was still on the shelf unchanged... Avoid this place like the plague. I have even overheard staff talking about how dire the management and facilities are and if the staff are disgusted then so should the customers. I considered ordering my shopping online to avoid setting foot in the store but after hearing about their blatant theft of people's money I decided not to give the filthy urchins the chance at snatching mine.

  • Julieanne Garfield

Lots of disabled parking spaces, although if you come at peak times sometimes you have a little wait. Nicely spaced out, big selection including clothes and household goods. I use a powerchair and there is a disable accessible toilet which is just about via enough fir you to turn round to lock the door! Staff really friendly, they always help me pack and put my shopping bags on the clips on the back of my powerchair, so I'm hands free. Always chatty and friendly. One of the nicer Asda's much safer and nicer than the next nearest at One stop Perry Barr, which is always crowded and has aggressive customers. If you have a choice, Queslett is better.

This is usually a good store and has all the things you'd expect in a supermarket with a good layout. But upon shopping here on Saturday 17th June 2017 in the evening (approx 21:30) I had a negative store experience. Kelly, at the customer services desk, you would think would have good customer service. However, she was very rude, patronising, raising her voice, talking to us bluntly with attitude and had negative body language - displaying all the qualities that should not be seen in a customer service assistant. We were very annoyed at being treated like this upon making an enquiry and this was uncalled for and unjustifiable behaviour.

I deliver shopping through Uber and haven’t to collect from this store aswell as shop there cant fault anything in store and these guys are a credit to the company and every time I collect orders the bays are tidy 98% the time unless they are rushed off their feet Kathryn, pardip, kiran, Elizabeth, kieran and Sam keep it up with the great customer service and your politeness and friendliness does go noticed your guys put up with alot and I witnessed it a few times now myself by some of the rude delivery drivers but you don’t let it get you down you all just crack on and do a amazing job total credit you all are Matt the Uber driver :)

Terribly customer service staff. My wife came home from Asda very upset this morning. I bought a turkey crown yesterday evening and my wife came back and looked at it in the morning and didn't like the look of it. Black spots and a greenish colour. When she tried to exchange it the staff on the customer service desk were very rude in terms of language and tone, and also confirmed that the £28 turkey crown could not be returned as it was more than 20 minutes since it had been purchased. So we are left with two options, spend another 30 quid, or risk poisoning our family on Christmas day. Thanks and Merry Christmas Asda

  • Aron Chatwin

Me and my wife use asda queslett all the time. Spent thousands of pounds in this store over the years my wife finishes work at 10 and does a big shop there on her way back home we have just been given a 70 pounds fine by asda for her parking there after 10. This is disgusting. We are valued customers and times are hard for them to issue a parking fine for using there store and spending 100s of pound is a kick in the customers pocket. We will never shop here again. As wife has tried phoning and no one seems to want to answer. You have lost a loyal customer. And now we will take our custom else where. Disgusting.

Asda Queslett Great Barr: Its a Great place to shop under one umbrella. The Whole store is Well stocked and well Staffed. The Cafe / dinning area is well spaced out and has Natural wood Tables and Chairs. On the counters Menus are well displayed and food is served by highly well trained friendly staff. The place is very clean. The Continental English breakfast has a variety of items and is appealing to the eye ( see photos) the breakfast ~ also comes with a generous Big Mug of tea / Coffee. There is plenty of Parking on the outside and a busy Patrol Station in a handy location. Thanks (See attached photos)

Feels like I'm dealing with a rogue trader not a large corporation like Asda. Delivery driver didn't deliver order yet marked as delivered leaving me chasing for a refund with the customer service team who keep telling me I should receive an email within 24-48 hours once its been looked into. Its been 6 days and 4 calls chasing this. How this is legal to charge a customer without the goods/service being delivered is beyond me. This isn't the first time this has happened where I'm chasing a large sum of money because the driver marked order as delivered when they haven't. **Order Number 5422231000109

I got Parking fine for shopping here for 50 mins on Friday 11/11after 10pm if you can do a weekly shop in under 30 mins go for it, no clear sign before entering, states 3 hour's but in small blue section says read sign inside, no pay and display if you even want longer, called customer service was told if we loose customers then so be it ,contact the parking company as it's not our car park. Thanks for the fine on veterans day nice to know my great uncle fought for this lack of freedom. UPDATE charge was dropped after communication with store and proof of purchase provided to customer service desk.

  • Christine SOÂRES

I love Asda Great Barr and go there often. Today I went after 12 days at home on lockdown to restock. I wish the security man with white stubble would listen instead of acting stressed. My husband, a leaner driver drove us there. I have perfect eyesight long distance but my close vision is poor due to glaucoma. I needed my husband to help me shop and read date lables. Anyway he refused as I am sure he has been advised to let us in together. So I struggled for about 15 minutes and left the trolley and walked back to the car to my husband and had a good cry. What happened to customer service

  • Maryam Abu

Amazing customer service provided from Amy, I hope I’ve got her name right.. she’s very friendly and always happy to help and gladly never miserable to serve.Ive never come across a service like this before.. having staff like her makes you want to shop more.I felt so comfortable speaking to her as she was very patient unlike other staff pulling a face when it’s time to serve a customer and calm always willing to run a extra mile for a customer.Thank you so much Asda Questlot for employing a staff like her. She has blonde short hair and I’m guessing blue/grey eyes. 10/10 service provided.

Entered here around 9.30pm on a Thursday night. I couldn't believe how busy it was. Unfortunately the store was in shambles. Shelves empty or missing the listed stock, boxes and cages everywhere in the aisles, amongst them staff stocking whilst shoppers shopped. The pharmacy was open, which would usually be a plus except the information listed on the website said it had closed, so I had already purchased my medication elsewhere. Frustratingly causing me a visit to two places instead of one. Admittedly it could've just been stock rotation night so I may have been a little harsh.

  • Muhammad Saifali

Recently started to do my shopping overnight bi-weekly at this Asda spending over £500 and today (25/26 Jul) a lady short indian/asian on the night shift had been really rude with the number of bags being used and even suggested of me attempting to take more bags than paying for…. What an absolute joke this has never happened I am now deciding to move my business over to your competitors sainsburys and tesco that can atleast provide decent customer service! Employ better staff, service does not mean a thing if you cant be bothered to do your job!

Tuesday 28/9/21 I realised that I had a flat tyre and tried to change it. But with all the efforts of my Daughter and I we could not get the wheel off the axle. I was about to call out the RAC, when a member of staff came to ask if we needed any help. On hearing of our problems, she called over two of the trolly guys. I believe Eddie was one of them, to help us. With quite a struggle they managed to free the wheel and insisted on changing the wheel for us. So just s huge shout out to both of our saviours in florescent ASDA uniforms.

  • Susan Humphries

Have just visited your store and could not believe the lack of organisation in store and the lack of consideration by other shoppers. Social distance in store was non existent, people going up and down aisles and not following arrows, texting in the middle of aisles and crowded aisles. It's all well and good having someone at the store entrance but too many people were let in at one time. Not a nice experience. Take a leaf out if tesco new oscott's books, their organisation is exemplary, both staff organisation and shoppers.

***Worst Cafe I have ever visited!** Visit 1: No staff around and was told it was closed despite being advertised open Visit 2: Asked for all day brunch, despite being on the menu. Was told there no bacon and 'Egg machine' not working. Lots of food not available as advertised on the menu. The staff were very unfriendly and had no interest in serving customers. There was a young lad he did not have a clue what he was doing. We walked away and decided not to eat. Appalling experience! Avoid at all costs.

One of the worst customer service I have ever received if not the worst. This 'section leader' managed to answer my call after I have been transferred to the store by one of the customer service representative located in the Philippines, the section leader showed no empathy at all and could tell she wasn't ready to help from the moment I heard her voice, she then went on to lie to me about my local store not been able to do a delivery. ASDA has the worst customer service ever and this particular store.

  • Robert Jones

This is not Robert Jones, it is his partner, Pauline, who has shopped at Asda for many years. yesterday collected our shopping and then waited 20 minutes at least to empty small trolley onto the belt, bag it up and pay. can someone tell me why there are not more people on the cash tills as you cannot use the self service pay with a full trolley. waiting 20 minutes regardless of age and mobility issues is not a great advetisement for Asda so all I can say for goodness sake pull your socks up!!

  • Matt Jones

As someone who is Gluten Intolerant I use Asda for my free from food. On a good day, the variety of free from food Asda has is second to none. But I say on a good day... There's hardly any gluten free bread, cereal shelves are mostly always empty. The unfortunate thing is, I use Asda because when they do have gluten free food on the shelves they have a larger variety than other well known stores. It's bad enough I have an intolerance, it worse when I can't even buy the food I want to eat.

Asda Queslett Superstore is a large retail store located in Great Barr, Birmingham, UK. It offers a wide range of products, including groceries, electronics, clothing, and household items. With competitive prices and frequent discounts, it's a popular destination for budget-conscious shoppers. The store is spacious and well-organized, making it easy to find what you're looking for. However, it can be busy and crowded during peak shopping hours, so it's best to plan your visit accordingly.

  • Janine Kirk

What can I say but a fabulous woman named Mel, working upstairs is more than an asset to this store she's an Asda Angel! Fantastic customer service, who went above and beyond to help me with my dilema. Lovely to meet a staff member who whilst working hard gave me her time and attention and who has a fab sense of humour even at 8:45pm at night. It's reassuring to know people like Mel still exist. Your boss Paul should be extremely proud to have you as part of his team. Thanks again Jan

Queue outside no problem- orderly & calm but in store, a different matter, too many people. Last wednesday afternoon was like a busy saturday. pre lockdown. Lots of people not following arrows or social distancing - apparently can't see or don't care. The queues at the checkouts mean that in order to get items on the end of the aisles you have to pass very close to people queing there. Staff at checkouts deserve praise and thanks, they are doing a great job as are most staff there

  • Lorraine

I go at least twice a month. It's my favourite Asda. My friend lives a few mins drive away and after visiting her I usually pop in for a top up. Their Asda value cheese and onion pasties are delicious so I usually get some of them. I love their fruit too which is excellent quality and a bargain. And one time I was in there, I bought some knickers from upstairs. They've lasted longer than my M&S one's. They had holes in after less than 6 months. Asda's are still going strong.

  • Jennifer MacNamara

I love this supermarket, really easy to find what you need, the shelves are always staked or being staked, ample free parking and free trolleys which is a bonus (It's frustrating having to scrap around for a pound coin or trying to remember one of those trolley tokens). Only slight down fall is that the car park area close to the entrance has been known to flood if there is very heavy unexpected rain. Ending on a positive note, it's also 24hrs and has a petrol station!!

  • Scott Poole

Having been to asda today and did my shop i got to the shelf scan checkout and and scanned my barcode came up with check needed thats fine , I explained to the lady the oil didn't scan said barcode invalid, to then she replied I now have to rescan all your shopping this will take about 25 mins to half a hour , I was appalled by the service provided and walked out , I was not prepared to stand and stared at over oil that your barcode was invalid shocking service!

  • ian whitehouse

shame i have to give it a one star as usual no small trolleys got over charged on again on the the tango offer every time this happens went to customers service was told rudely you have join the queue were people are buying item staff member was rude pass a comment about your store when leaving the security was try ing to start a fight told him if he touch me i would phone police kept following even though i was outside going to my car was looking for trouble

  • Cher Wilson

This is a fab Asda with 2 floors and ample parking outside. The ground floor houses groceries, food deli, alcohol, bakery, etc. There is also a 'World Foods' aisle and section that contains ethnic produce such as patties and turkey salami. The first floor houses homeware and clothing for men, women and children. There are toilets and baby changing facilities. Petrol can also be bought from the forecourt outside. Practically everything you need under one roof!

  • JB

Purchased a microwave this morning, opened it up and there was splashes of food in it. Took it back and the lady was helpful, told me to grab myself another one. Told her I was abit baffled as to how it had got back on the shelves without it being checked first. She told me someone must of used it boxed it back up and brought it back. When I asked what would happen to that one I was told abit of disinfectant and it will be fine! Dirty second hand goods? Nice!

  • Iwona Sadler

1. Parking always busy. Parking for parents with kids always occupied by people with no kids. 2. Not enough of baby trolleys. Once i have been asked to walk around and look for one for myself. Where they have dedicated staff to bring the trolleys. 3. Staff never helpful. Excuse that they are not working on this or that isle. 4. Always mess on the shelves. Takes hours to find right product with right price. 5. Not to recommend. Prefer to go to Minworth

  • Jimmy Sandhu

When presented with discount coupons given to me from the Manufacturers the till and service staff at this store took great delight in closing ranks and refused to take them. I then contacted HQ and it came to light they should have taken them. There appears to be a great staff development issue here that should be addressed by the store manager. Whatever you do don't take coupons to this store as you will be intimidated and harassed by the staff.

  • Julia Curtis

I have just been to the cafe at Asda queslett. I had a bacon sandwich, which almost had some bacon on it . I opened my sandwich to put some brown sauce on it, the amount of bacon was pathetic, I actually laughed in disbelief. My hot chocolate was lukewarm. Nothing hot about it. Worst I have ever had. This cafe used to be great as did the store. I usually avoid coming here at all costs but I was walking past and popped in. I should've kept walking.

  • Paul Gould

Unfortunately shelves poorly stocked and who ever decided to put dvd and end of the alley by tills it's impossible to see what dvds available the refit upstairs is a joke it's like a bargain basement nothing on shelves it's a mess entertainment equipment is poor what ever area manager decided to change upstairs from old format must be mad it's unorganised no gaming area and stock levels on dvds games and music is terrible for a top 5 supermarket

  • Carly Trix

Recently shopped here and spent an hour in store, a week later receive a parking fine for £70! Apparently you can't use their car park after 10pm on a Friday yet the store is open 24 hours. I have been shopping here for so long and am genuinely so disgusted by this, contacted the asda customer service team to be told its not their problem and apparently it's not their car park. I am never shopping here ever again after this, such a shame.

  • Vito Mitola

vast selection of foods from all over the world.Great fruit and produce. And I must say the staff is very friendly.Being a disabled person I find the scooters availability a fantastic idea.I want to spread a word in favour of a young man called MARKUS......very polite and always goes out of his way to help me and not only me ,I've also seen him helping other people.Thank you Markus you make my shopping at Asda always a happy moment.

Shopped in asda queslett last night at 6.45pm there were x 2 checkouts open only, this is not ok we waited over 20 minutes to be served. We did ask the assistant manager and stated its the way forward as they are not affording staff as everything is going up. I replied back they make multi millions of pounds and i think asking for a service to be served by a human being not self serve (no discount given) is a mockery and disgrace.

The store has everything you need ,however the cafe is appalling me and my partner have popped in twice now for some lunch and on both time the place has been empty but looked like a bomb has hit it and the food (well if you can call it that) was so dried up and disgusting it looked like it had been sat under hot lights for days and the chips tasted like they had been in the fryers about 3/4 times!!! Absolutely disgusting!!!

  • rob calder

Disappointing visit, easy to see why the pandemic is lasting so long though. This store does not enforce any of the restrictions they advertise themselves as taking. Masks are apparently optional entrance is also being used as an exit. Store is overcrowded and the guy at the store entrance instead of directing people and controlling the number of people instore would rather stare at a screen than do his job.

  • Neil Robinson

Shelves regularly very low across the board, the fresh made pizza department is a wonderful idea, and when you can actually get a pizza made they are great. But unfortunately staff have on a number of occasions refused to make pizzas due to being understaffed, and regularly have the shelves empty. Over all since lockdown the store is sadly very dissapointing and has become a pretty average place to shop.

We have been loyal customers of Asda, recently switched to a new job and left work at 10pm. On the way home, we would go to this asda in Queslett to shop and fill up gas. Just today we received a £70 ticket and they wanted it Penalize customers who shop in their store because we parked there after 10 to shop. This is so unreasonable! We have tried to call but were unsuccessful, this is so sad for us!

  • Steven Tredwell

Would of left a lower rating if possible!! Returned clothing without a receipt, Expected gift card and thats what i got...No problems there...Then went over to the pharmacy which i may add is apart of asda...to be confronted by a rude male...tried many times to get his attention to serve me...wanted to buy products using the gift card and he point blank refused with no explination.. Rude Man!!!

  • Simply Living

Just popped into the cafe for a bite to eat. Err, never again. The food was almost cold. No side salad as the member of staff hadn't got time to get any. Not really what we wanted to eat but nothing really there for a quick bite. Staff really can't be bothered to be honest. The tables are dirty and were not Cleaned. We won't be bothering again, not a good experience at all.

  • Ben Fegan

Reasonably priced and well stocked. Can get a little crowded before closing and sometimes a little busy. The staff are very helpful and point you in the right direction to find what you require. I come here once a week and have not had a bad experience yet. The car park is spacious and the disabled spaces are close to the door. The trolleys are close by as well.

  • Gaz H

Google search shows opens at 6am, but was left stood outside for over 45mins waiting. After loads of people walking past the doors (both inside and OUTSIDE) and looking at me for 45MINS!! I was finally told they don't open until 730 on a Monday. Double checked I hadn't missed a sign but I hadn't. There weren't any signs. Not great people, no common courtesy.

  • waqas aziz

Enjoy shopping here as they have everything I need in one place. 2 floors, upstairs for clothing and general house items, and downstairs for all your grocery needs. Massive car park dedicated solely for asda no other businesses around. Open 24 hours aswell which is very useful. It is always kept in good standards and shelfs are generally always stocked up.

  • Hamaad A

Although the prices and stock is all good, the staff are terrible, racist, and careless, this specific store needs to seriously reconsider the staff, appalling behaviour toward customers. Professional staff is a necessity in stores of this kind, yet most of the staff especially the security guards are appalling and have no manners. New security needed.

  • Dee McLoughlin

Superb service this evening by delivery driver Carl and his colleague. They went out of their way, off their own back and in the pouring rain, to go back to the store and rectify an oversight by the order picker. Carl and colleague, you really are the best, I appreciate your customer service and all with a smile too. You're a credit to Asda Queslett.

  • J B

I went to Asda yesterday and asked for a scanner and got told too busy, I watched the lady she spent 15 mins talking then went into self paying area and started dealing with another customer / disgusting behaviour and customer support. On her back it said ‘happy to help’ I don’t think so!!! Use to be a good store but massively gone down hill!!!

  • Kiranjeet Kaur

Waited for a delivery from asda and it was a no show with no contact from them to advise it won't be delivered. I called customer services to be told the estimated delivery time is 1am, and they will just cancel the delivery with no remorse, and then just hung up the phone on me. Leaving my baby without milk, as we was reliant on this delivery.

  • Matt Griffin

I visited Asia Cafe while passing through the area. Ordered a breakfast that was served missing it's eggs and no tea or coffee was available either. Asked for a napkin and told to 'use some blue roll' from a roll of commercial paper towels. Tables were unclean, dirty plates not collected. I know the price is low, but this was just not adequate.

  • Lucy F

Online order was dispatched from Asda queslett.. the grocery delivery did not turn up dispute me calling and the customer services telling me the driver has been called and said he was running late! Really bad and no further slots available for 3days. Online tracker says out for delivery so some mistake has been made somewhere - annoying!!!!

  • Gem C

Absolute joke, don't ever use the click and collect service, been waiting nearly an hour as it hadn't even been picked and packed yet, then when it finally did come alot of stuff was unavailable so ended up having to go to another supermarket anyway. So if your thinking about doing click and collect thinking it will save you time then don't.

  • Robert Jones

I have bought all my shopping from this store for years, i live just across the road from it, But in last 6 months i cannot buy certain items why stop stocking mushy peas ? why stop stocking jellied eels ? etc etc I now have to drive 3 miles to Tesco they stock everything i need !! So Asda you have lost a very good customer

  • Mark Santa

Staff are generally helpful if you can find them to help you. Shelves not well stocked, some items are more expensive than the shelf price, have known many people this has happened to, check your receipt before you leave otherwise you will need to go back to claim your money back. It used to be a great store, not no any more.

  • i Love Drive Driving School (i Love Drive)

This is first supermarket which never has any stuff in stock since it’s a 24 hour store and I am not saying because it’s covid and overall no staff ever to assist you because they don’t employ enough. Something it needs to learn from its perry barr branch which has more customers but well organised with stock, staff and covid

  • Tracey Kingston

Despite the media scaremongering the public into believing the shelves will be empty at Christmas,I was very impressed with asda queslet, their shelves were full to bursting, never seen so many people stacking shelves, well done to asda workers hope you all have boxing Day off and merry Christmas to you all …

  • Sue Walker

Asda state on tv they have staff on the door they dont not covid secure packed to the rafters nobody counting how many customers coming in staff standing around chatting without masks only 5 checkouts open you wait in a que and they then shut the checkout and tell you to use another covid outbreak waiting to happen

  • Iqra K

I came here at 11:30 as i needed a jug urgently for tomorrow and upstairs was closed meaning i could not access the homeware section. This is so stupid i have never been to a Asda that does this. Will not return. I left my house drove 30 mins as i found out this Asda was open 24 hours. BACK TO TESCO I GO!!!!!!

  • Denise Grantham

Extremely concerned as no wonder we are now In tier 3. No traffic light system or even anyone on the door monitoring how many people go in. No social distancing and empty shelves. It was packed when I went today not a trolley in sight. Asda advertising campaign about covid 19 safety is BS. You shud be ashamed.

  • Kevin Lee

A lovely and active place, I would recommend you to visit once or twice. However, the bakery section does not serve the most fresh goods as they can be 2 or more days old which is very disappointing. The staff are lovely and thanks to them I am able to visit this asda more often. Not too big, not too small.

  • Rosie Sunshine

Shocking. Delivery scheduled between 6-8 and still hasn't arrived next day. Best they could do is between 1-4. Don't care about their customers, I would urge anyone not to place their online shop with Asda where possible. Ocado is much better, cheaper, better quality food and excellent customer service.

  • Michael Paul

I allways used to shop at asda but since them refusing me entry for not wearing a mask I dont shop there no more. I have a few medical problems which stops me from wearing one I allways carry my exempt report which was given to me by my GP earlier at the beginning of the year I am a disabled person!

  • Dave Jones

This is a huge supermarket, it has 3 hours free parking (park within the lines or be fined) it has a petrol station and they also deliver. There is a wide product range but shelves can be empty by late afternoon. The staff are friendly and helpful which enhances the shopping experience.

  • Jolene Reece

I popped into the Asda cafe today and was greeted by the most lovely young lad. He was so polite and literally went out off his way to make sure my daughter and I had everything we need. It’s those special touches that make customers return. Thanks Darren, your an asset to the Cafe :)

  • Dave Moggy

Easy to get round , generally a good store , the main drawback is the lottery/newspaper/cigarette counter , at times only one serving with long queue's and waiting times , the staff on this counter work hard , but at times not enough to cope with demand, this needs looking at .

  • Soundwave

Just like most large supermarkets nowadays…too much choice and open for far too long. Was better when we had covid restrictions limiting the amount of customers that could go in. The overall experience can vary depending on how busy it is from being awful to even more awful.

  • Masood Hussain

I went a done some shopping on the 8/11/2022 at 1 in the morning and i left at 2:15 and today 16/11/2022 i recived a parking fine for £70 pounds not going back there again Thanks Tasha its all sorted lucky i found my recipt from the shopping i done so o changed it to 5 star

  • Sultan Miah

Not happy at all, was looking for a product and asked one of the staff members if they had it, she then replied with she doesn’t have a clue and proceeded to laugh rather offering to help or recommending an alternative. Didn’t think customer service would be this bad

  • Diane Smith

Love Asda staff so helpful. One big ate staff in cafe there is one on most Saturdays she is nasty and not what I expected so slow not helpful not what I would employ breakfast was disgusting eggs hard tomatoes looked old mushrooms dry will not be eating here again

  • Carol Weaver

I describe asda a very good place put their is one things is they leave their cages on the shop floor and their cardboard empty on the sleeves which they don't remove I been looking for a job their for so long nobody even called me I think they are very rude

  • Ally Shaw

The place is massive , didn’t get a chance to have a good look round but some good offers if you can spend the time looking , it has a cloths sections upstairs and a massive car park aswel .. however you can easily get here on the bus here , good local stop

  • Pete Concannon

Disgraceful at filling station . Wife used card and then pumps did not release fuel. Now have to go through stress to find out if bank has charged her. Assistant said they lose connection to Internet for card payments sometime. Total joke. Get it sorted !

  • Veronica Nealen

Wat can i say about asda in my opinion close it down fresh food not fresh at all staff are so horrible they ALL need a retrain to smile some checkout staff never happy to be at work i love there clothing range but i will not shop at queslett store

  • sandy bedford

Took my 2 grandchildren to spend there Easter money today only had 10pounds each when they came to pay the price of the toys were not what was on the shelves very upsetting for my grandchildren it made very cross will not be shopping there again

  • Foziya Lorin

Very disappointing I live in Oldbury .love shopping in queslett asda.the service is fantastic. But I wear a hijab and iv come across alot of other Customers who are very racist. Who give me a lot of dirty looks especially white old people.,,,,.

  • catrina lawrence

1 star is still to much for this cafe!!!!! Staff are rude and need training on customer service 10mins wait for a coffee and to be told 10mins wait for a bacon sandwich even tho there was bacon on the counter. I would not be coming here again.

  • Harps Sohal

It's brilliant that it's open 24 hours and has everything we need. Staff are generally friendly and the store is clean. One bug bear is that they need more parent and child spaces, considering the size of the car park there is certainly room.

  • Rahul Gautam

Love shopping here me and my kids everyone loves to visit here they made shopping very easy and comfortable 24 open patrol station on a very cheap price good quality of products huge space for parking helpful staff love asda my shopping hub

  • Mitch Williams

5days without shopping and you haven't refunded us . Haven't had money to get shopping from somewhere else.Wouldn't recommend charged twice for an order that never turned up useless staff ... Rang customer services who were very rude to my

  • Carol Hyde

I bought a horrid Henry fancy dress costume for my grandson , it was on a 9-10 hanger the trousers were 9-10 but when I got it home the top was 7-8 !, I rang the store immediately and after I eventually got thro ( which took 8 min for them

  • Hana Zubair

Theres a little indian lady that often works the late shift, she is ridiculously rude! Holds all the bags up her arm and you have to scout her out for a bag, which she then shoves past to scan it for you rather than handing you the bag to

  • Susan Cox

Asda under refurbishment what a mess can't find anything. Will not go again until it's finished next month. avoid if possible. Fair play to the staff doing their best but a very trying experience. Should pay you to shop there. So bad.

  • Martin Powell

No sanitizer available or even guided to on entry. Unlike Morrisons where i normally shop which practices much safer covid 19 policy on entry. If essential stores are the only business open then they should be far more responsible.

  • Paul S

Stand 2 m apart for an hour to be told the shop is closing. Lousy attitude of the staff. I know it's difficult times (unless your public sector of course) but standing for so long, even with space between us is a mass gathering.

  • Winnie P

Just asked a staff member why the yogurt fridge's are always covered in mould, she laughed and walked away..!? Very disappointing. Also increasingly finding lots of items out of stock recently. Used to love this store too :-(

  • Baljit Sroa

Great ppace to shop and very competitive prices. It is a 2 storey complex with food on the ground floor and clothes/household items and electricals on the top floor. Very spacious and also has air conditioning for the summer

  • Jon Gardner

It's ok, it's a supermarket. Much better than the nearby Perry Barr Asda, but the range isn't great, especially in the home and entertainment sections which used to be much better but have been substantially downsized.

  • Rachel Paskin

Shockingly bad. Empty shelves, short dates on produce, wilted veg and salad, not even any choices of milk... Shocking long queues only 3 tills open. I've not been here for 3 years, I will never be venturing back...

  • Jenny Jenkins

Doing their best in a difficult environment. The area is now rough as a bear's arse. Full of chavs, some of them violent. I would nit like to be a security guard there. Staff are hard working and put up with a lot.
