Well besides their small (But clean) pool and their alright steam room. everything else in this Gym is in a really bad condition. The bike and elliptical are both rusty, they make a noise while using them. All the weight lifting equipment is outdated. To top all that off, the owner has the worst customer service. I signed up in this gym as i need the pool for my rehabilitation. Went there less than 6 times in total and somehow the owner managed to annoy me on 2 different occasions. The first time while he was explaining the prices he said "I SHOULD GO TO PAN AM OR THE YMCA if i feel that it's too expensive" He said it as if he was looking down on these places. The second time he argued with me because i had already did my 2 free passes about a month ago and right before i signed up he was like well you can have 2 free passes and i was like sure. I thought he might have gotten confused so the second time i went there i just paid the membership for the month. Earlier today he came into an argument with me about how come i didn't tell him. Spoke to me in a RACIST WAY. He literally said "In this country we have one surname" Well guess what buddy this is my country and I have 2 last names. Long story short he is a really bad representation to this gym, and if it wasn't for my rehab i wouldn't have ever went there again. Too bad we don't have that many indoor pools in the city, and too bad i signed up already. AVOID THIS GYM IF YOU CAN. or if you end up signing up just avoid that person.

The fitness center is in a very well maintained and equipped community building complex of Fort Garry Place. The space is well run with experienced people and professional will trained staff... Every shift during the week starts at 6am sharp without fail and on the weekend at 8 am... The change rooms are clean and comfortable with lockers to store your equipment you bring to change and shower's with good water pressure. Pool areas are to die-fore with a 60+ foot long pool 9' deep a 10 person hot tub & 10 person steam room shower area by the pool works well to rinse off before going to the patio areas to take in the sun looking off to the south... This is one of the most well equipped fitness center I have ever been a member of... The mall has two restaurants to choose from and great to start a new business with store fronts available after the Covid19 lockdowns. There is also room in the parkade for hundreds of vehicles secure spaces for guests to the building fitness center and mall... There is also aprox 25 full size 1 bedroom/ 2 bedroom apartments available for short term rentals... The revolving restaurant is currently closed and is looking for a capable team to open this wonderful space up again...

Awesome place to workout in downtown. Lots of equipment and place is kept clean. They also have a swimming pool, so if you're not into sweating for the day, you can definitely try their swimming pool. Also, shoutout to my personal trainer, Ivan! Ivan is an awesome personal trainer. After discussing my fitness goals, he immediately prepared a workout program for me, as well as a nutrition program. He checks up on me all the time and asks whether I’ve reached my calorie intake, so you can tell that he really cares for his clients. Also, since I’m a beginner, he would always show me the proper form and if I don’t get it right, he won’t get tired repeating it. He’s very knowledgeable and with his experience, trust me you’re in great hands. Very recommendable. 10/10

This has got to be the best value gym in downtown Winnipeg. The gym is equipped with plenty of machines, cardio equipment, multiple power racks, free weights and more. This gym also feels much less intimidating than larger franchised gyms. All the staff are great and my interactions with others using the gym have been positive. The only cheaper option nearby is if you live in the range of the University's community pricing, and with that, you lose access to a pool, hot tub, and steam room.

Lots of equipment to use; Easy accessibility. Worth the monthly fee. My husband and I took training sessions with Vic and we loved working with him. He knows his clients’ needs, strengths and weaknesses and individualizes his sessions. He gave exercises and diet advise and he followed up each time with him. He managed to make a change in our mindset about workout and lifestyle in general I strongly recommend him

Absolutely the cleanest gym, and friendliest staff that a Gym could have, I have been going here for almost a year and I appreciate the quality and the cleanliness of the gym. To top it off, its incredibly cheap, and with your membership you have access to a pool, steamroom, a hot tub, and a track! not many gyms can compare to this!

Dropped in and did a training session with trainer Vic who delivered a personalized training session focused on my very specific needs. Vic’s intuitive assessment immediately corrected my form and technique and put me on the right path. Highly recommend Vic !

AAC is a gem in downtown Winnipeg. Essential equipment and friendly and helpful staff! I booked 3 personal training sessions with Ivan Sarmiento and learnt how to freestyle just by two! Recommend Ivan if you want to learn swimming and enter into triathlon.

This has always been a great work out gym; the amenities are second only to the personable staff. Now, there is also the option of 2 hours of free parking available ... a godsend considering the dilemma of finding available parking spots in the area.

  • Nam Truong

Dropped in to check out the facility. Music was good, equipments on the older side, got some rust on my fingers from changing weights. Decent equipment selection. Overall good experience but the chlorine smell from the pool was a bit strong.

One water fountain for the whole gym. There is no proper bench press rack, you have to move a flat bench under a squat rack. Luckily they have rowers. The staff were friendly and the place was empty on a Saturday afternoon.

Fantastic facility! Exceptionally convenient, as it's right in the heart of the city. The rates are excellent as well, and the cleanliness of the athletic club & pool are immaculate :-) 5 Stars!

Adequate. Equipment is seriously old , though. TV on cardio equipment is a nice touch. Not overcrowded. There is pool access from the club. Decent sanitation practices. Quiet kind of place.

  • Kiirsten May

This gym has lots of well-maintained equipment, lovely staff, friendly patrons, a huge free weights area and big change rooms. The decor is outdated in a totally endearing way.

  • Albert Lee

Good place to work out and swim. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I'd like to commend Trainer Ivan for helping me with my fitness goals and workout routines.

  • Justin Berard

Good small local gym. Not the must up to date equipment and a little rougher, but not busy, no waits for use anything and has access to a pool for swimming laps.

  • Daniel Wiebe

It’s an awesome gym with great staff. Doesn’t have all the fancy equipment of the big gyms but it’s worth it for the environment they provide.

  • Annie

Clean gym with all the basic equipment. Great pool area that gets checked frequently. Friendly staff. Parking might be an issue at peak times.

  • Ryan Klassen

Great gym with nice change rooms and a good pool. Updated cardio equipment. The gym equipment is old school but that's what I like personally.

  • Justin Fougere

Conveniently located, friendly, knowledgeable staff, full complement of resistance machines, cardio machines, free weights and a pool.

  • Zuz Zuz

No proper entrance to this place. Need a personal trainer, but unable to get in touch. No response to the voice mails too.

  • Maksym Lobodenko

The best gym for its price. Enough equipment for any exercises, pool, steam room. Friendly staff.

  • shono

Has pool, steam sauna, hot tub. Compact size but feel good place. And such a good stuff!
