My father and friends recommended Autobarn Elizabeth after being a regular shopper at Supercheap Auto. I have been very happy with the service and products the few times I have bought products from Autobarn Elizabeth so decided to join their club and make this my regular go to store. On a recent arrival to purchase a spotlight bar I went to walk through the main entrance and then realised they were closed due to renovations happening. At this stage I was nastily spoken to by one of their arriving contract painters saying 'didnt you see the huge sign saying the store was closed'.He continued to be abusive in which one of Autobarn staff witnessed. I was not at all happy as previous visits their were renovations happening but the store remained open using a side entrance hence missing the big closed for renovations sign. I have to be honest that I gave the painter a piece of my mind as he was not a staff member and was just returning his abuse. As mentioned the Autobarn staff member witnessed this altercation happening outside of the store and said to me 'You can come back when we reopen or not come back at all' and then walked away. I was gobsmacked to say the least. I am 56 years of age and have been brought up to always give exceptional customer service in my sales career so then proceeded to call for the manager. I addressed this encounter with the manager and he mentioned that he will have a word to the worker. After leaving I thought this was inadequate. At the end of the day the worker backed up a contract painter over a valued customer. My family and friends all shop at Autobarn and I would have expected more than this staff member just having a word to them by the manager. I will not be returning to this store on principal and am sure neither will my family and friends!

I needed new wipers and went into an auto shop when it started to rain and I remembered. Not having ever bought wipers I didn't know what I was looking for. First place I went to, the guy was helping someone and when he finished, i had to go looking for him. when I found him he was not very helpful and I literally told him that and left. He didn't seem interested at all. A couple of days later I was in my mother's car and I was going past Autobarn Elizabeth where I've been before and never had an issue. Walked in, almost immediately a lady asked if she could help. I explained, I need wipers, not sure if I just need blades, she pointed out they had a price for the whole mechanism and blades which was on special. She then offered to help me put them on, which I had to decline as I didn't have my car. She showed me on the packet which installation clip I would need and told me it was easy and if I had any problems, bring the car in and they would help me. I then paid and got home and I successfully replaced my own wipers and blades! Excellent customer service! Excellent price! Can't recommend them enough. I'll be a customer forever!

Installation was done well but that's where it ended. Before purchasing, I asked Mark if the unit supports fast charging. He said of course it does because otherwise the phone will go flat when using Android auto. Guess what?.... every time I plug my phone in....... slow charging, and yes, I have tried many different genuine cables. After installation I noticed my factory Climate control info stopped being displayed on my upper console screen. Mark told me this was impossible to achieve, as now I have an aftermarket system and gave me two options..... take everything out and start again or live with it. Since then, the car has had hail repairs. When I got the car back from hail repairs, Climate control info was now being displayed on my console screen, because the hail repairers actually plugged in a cable that the autobarn installer couldn't. It would have been nice for Mark to have given me the option of..... maybe we forgot to plug something in so we'll open it up and have a look. I will be taking my cars elsewhere for car installations from now on.

There are two people specifically I would like to commend due to their outstanding customer service and product/service knowledge. I would like to highly recommend Mark in the audio section for his exceptional customer service skills and his inexhaustible knowledge of all things audio. He asked me specific questions on what I was looking for from an audio system for my Wrangler and customised a system to fit my needs. Thank you so much Mark and I love the sound of the system you put together for me! The other person I would like to commend is Alex who installed my sound system. Alex is highly knowledgeable, incredibly skilled and incredibly patient especially when dealing with a rather cantankerous old Wrangler that can test the patience of a Saint! Thank you so much Alex! Highly recommend this store for your audio needs!

Ordered stereo harnesses worth just under $400 had issues with the connections and was told my stereo wasn't compatible with my car after Morris order the parts for me, ended up having to buy and pay them to install a new stereo, then cause they were about to close sent me home with the Bluetooth connections not working and told me what I have to do to fix it, got it working when I got home, but also noticed cracks in the dash plastic where the screws were done up too tight paying $650 for a new stereo , $250 for installation and then then almost $400 for connections and to not have it completed properly, I would not suggest getting stereo installations there.

great service and go out of there way to help. Mark was awesome, from the advise given and the help along the way with my install. i'm very happy with the full system i purchased and the advise on what to get for my budget range. my only question, i was a little skeptical about the 10" kicker hideaway sub and amp combo i bought. but turns out it sounds way better than i thought it was going to and i'm very impressed for my ute anyway. i got a little bit stuck along the way with the install and Mark was only too happy to let me know/show me what i needed to do.

Awesome customer service from the Audio team, especially James. I have had trouble with my Black Vue dash cam, which I purchased 4 years ago from another store. I had taken it back to the store I bought it from and they just up-sold me a larger SD card - issues not fixed. I took the dash cam into James at Autobarn Elizabeth, he sent it back to Black Vue, had it repaired, reinstalled and even though I was expecting a $75 repair fee, at least, he didn’t charge anything. Absolutely blown away. Best customer service I have experienced in years.

Had excellent customer service with Autobarn Elizabeth today - I was having trouble with my park brake light coming on intermittently and I thought maybe my brake fluid needing topping up - even though I am due to get my car serviced Thursday I was worried about it- one of their employees offered to come out to the carpark to check the level in my car for me which I wasn't expecting & assured me the level was fine- I am very appreciative of this as it reassured me while I wait for my car service - thanks so much!great customer care

I had been trying to change over my head unit for just over a week but didn’t understand all the connections, at first I got the wrong connector in the correct packaging, which was a simple mistake, second time I got the right one but thought it was wrong, until I went back the third time and an awesome bloke named Morris took the time to come out to my car, and show me how to connect everything, I now have a better head unit in my car! Best service I’ve received in a long time, cheers mate

See me discrimination old oeople potential to loose 500 tofinish work and install speaker and finish work. AAA+ SERVICE what a great TEAM of enthusiastic and dedicated staff. Brian you are a " LEGEND " thank you for the effort you went to to provide me with my electrical parts for a Toyota 4P engine in my forklift. He even rung his supplier to actually ensure the superseded parts fitted in place with the ones he supplied. Yes he was right even spoke to another customer and he has been dealing with Brian for many, many years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks to the team at Elizabeth Autobarn!!! FANTASTIC!!

Terrible customer service. Called ahead to see if they had specific vehicle floor mats in stock which they assured me they had. I travelled for an hour to pick them up and was at the store 2 hours after my initial call, only to be told the boss has taken them off the shelves and put in his own car but did not remove them from the computers stock count. Absolute waste of my time and diesel getting there. I will not be recommending or using this store again.

Steve was very knowledgeable, very approachable and friendly. Morris in audio and visual was also friendly and he really knows his audio. He treated me with respect and didn't force me in to buying an amp and sub as I said I was still unsure if I wanted to go down that path. Not to mention Carly was also friendly and helpful as well. They have a great team and I will definitely will buy my parts and accessories from here in the near future...

Just took my brand new car to get a dash cam installed, the car was perfectly fine, no scratches or anything. After the installation of the dash-cam we had noticed a scratch near the front guard and a scratch on the drivers side window. I would definitely not recommend. They called them self reliable and professional but in reality they’re unreliable and reckless, doing their job sloppy and dodgy not taking the extra care they offered

I got my stereo upgraded to Android auto and also got a subwoofer installed, we had a couple of issues but the guys at auto barn done everything they could to assist me with the situation. Everything works with both the Android auto and the subwoofer. I'm very happy with everything. I was aslo able to get the facia painted privately finishes it of perfectly. Horrible customer service, went to pick up a battery for my wife's car which was dead flat, she did an afterpay and I had all the emails and confirmations it was all payed for but then denied the product because it was not my afterpay how can she pick it up if she has cancer? And is hospital pretty much dying? But she let me refund it under my name? Never again will a shop there again!

Absolutely the best place to get parts and accessories for your car. The staff are friendly and willing to go out of thier way to help you and explain stuff to you. And if they haven't got an item they will order it in for you. That's what I call service pity other places don't have the same kind of service not naming names that would just be a super cheap shot.

This is a huge auto mart which I believe may have been the biggest auto store in SA at some stage. The range is huge, sales are great. The staff are great and are very helpful. There is on-site paint mixing which is actually an amazing match. The fella that mixes paint is a legend and takes a lot of care in the work he does.

Was after a small tin of touch up paint. Have never had much luck in the past matching metallic paint colours (only mixing small amounts). Paint colour was not perfect (as expected) but very close. The closest matching colour I have ever gotten. Thank you Graham. Great staff. Know what they are selling. Friendly service.

Quick to take your money buy not to keen to refund. Took 2 weeks to get refunded for a battery. Did not appreciate one rude staff member and his over all lazy attitude. Do not reccomend shopping here unless you know exactly what you need as their refund policy is a pain in the proverbial.

Spent about $155 on a new radio and wires for it to work in my car to only realise it didn’t fit. So went back and they said that they don’t make the wires that would fit into my car anymore. They should have told me earlier before buying everything for it and spending over $100 on it.

Despite the expansion building work, the staff here were very friendly and knowledgeable. I was looking for some 5mm wheel hub spacers and the other place was a special order. Autobarn had them in stock and for a cheaper price. I will definitely be going back here.

Really good service here. I needed some driving lights and LED front lights for my 96 Laser Sports LXi Hatch. The LED bulbs have transformed the light the car now puts out and the driving lights fit well. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
