I asked one of the staff to show me where the tiles I was looking for were stocked, (the website said they were available at this store and I had driven a long way to get them) but he wouldn't move from his place and told me to go find them myself. I had already tried once but wasn't able to. This was early in the morning when there were hardly one or two other customers in the store. At my insistence, he said maybe they didn't have them in stock anymore and perhaps the website info was outdated. I requested him to just come with me for a minute to make sure before turning me away. At this time one of his colleagues jumped in and said to me, "There are worse things in life." I was surprised at this uncalled for intrusion and asked what she meant by that. She said it didn't matter that I had driven a long way and didn't find what I was looking for, it couldn't have been a lot worse. I couldn't believe a salesperson speaking to a customer like that. Anyway, I told her I wasn't speaking to her and requested the first guy once again to come with me to the aisle and help me find the tiles, which he eventually did very reluctantly. Once we found the tiles, he gave me incorrect information that they were all from the same batch, which I found out later that they weren't. Most of the staff here were least interested in serving the customers. As I was leaving, I saw the staff chatting leisurely with each other.

I went into the enfield b&q and was in there for literally less than 15 seconds and I had a member of staff be extremely rude to me. I went in for some garden pebbles and needed help, asked a member of staff who was at the back of the store in a high vis jacket along with another colleague with a head piece. When I asked them if they could help, the colleague in the high vis rudely replied ‘what do you want’. And cut me off when I was telling him what I needed. I then proceeded to ask another member of staff where I could write a complaint and he didn’t help either. Looked at another member of staff who saw me and then ignored because he also did now want to help. Never visit this branch, rude and disgusting members of staff working there.

Used the click and collect service to pick up ten boxes of bathroom wall tiles. Had to wait for about 20 minutes - which is slightly longer than I hoped to wait for a click and collect service. Maybe because I didn't pick up the tiles in the first three days of when it was ready for collection - not sure, but it took them a while to fetch the tiles from a different location not in the click and collect area. For click and collect service, my expectation was for the pick up process to be quicker than if I went to pick up the tiles myself and paid in the till. All in all, I got served by friendly staff at the counter. Thanks for having the item in stock and for providing this service too.

This is my local store so I tend to go there on a regular basis. Most of the staff there are not very helpful, a couple of them could be seen chatting, and even gave me wrong directions. I ended up searching for my own items online as it would provide me with product availability and aisle number. I went there on Saturday 30 April In the afternoon and was helped by a lovely lady called Jo who was in the garden centre. She went above and beyond and helped me and my dad locating some of the items. She seems to be the only one that was clued on and genuinely willing to help. She’s putting all the ‘boys’ to shame. Thank you to Jo. Management should have more people like her…

This review reflects the current situation at B&Q Enfield (late Nov 2022), not the firm generally. The main Warehouse store that's been there for years is closing down and moving to the (much smaller) building over in the main retail area which Toys R Us used to occupy. The store currently has a 25% clearance for Christmas lights and decorations, which is handy, and they have decent stuff. Most aisles have been cleared for the move, so you’ll be limited in your shop here at the moment. I'm sure they'll be ship shape in the new store but for now, it's just Christmas gear and some other basics. Online is probably your best bet for most stuff right now.

Iam a woman shopping alone...I changed my mind on a item and put it back. The short large build man with Dark hair working at the trade point till at 5:30 today refused to serve me as i did not have a trade piont card. So i put the item down and turned to leave the shop. He then locked me in the shop and ignored me when i asked him to open the door. I informed him that he is not allowed to restricted my exit, He continued to ignore me and refused to open the doors so i could exit. Untill i said that i will be making a complaint. I have never been treated so badly in B@Q before....what a disgraceful bully!!!

I haven't been to the old B&Q (colosseum retail park) but i do need to say that their new location is very small just like what everyone says even though i've never been to the old one, i just don't like how they moved to the main Enfield retail park, the reason why i don't like the new location is because it will make the Enfield retail park more busier, before B&Q moved, the Enfield retail park was already very busy and an addition to a new shop that used to be in another location will just make the retail park more busier, i think 3 stars is enough

Went down to buy some MDF and get it cut, the guy running the saw finishes the customer he's on then walks past the queue of 3 other people waiting and dissappears. Fair enough, might be using the toilet. 10 minutes later someone in the queue finds him chatting to his mate round the corner, he wonders back to the machine then gets out his phone and starts browsing, at which point I gave up. No complaints with the rest of the store, but the wood cutting guy couldn't care less about his job if he tried.

Staff aren't very knowledgeable in this store. I asked if there's a paint which I can paint over mould. He told me there's no such thing and that I have to clean the mould first and just paint over it with normal paint. I found a paint which says directly apply onto mould which paints over it, kills it and prevents mould coming again. There was many other scenarios where the staff just don't know anything about DIY. And if they don't know, at least try found from somewhere before coming to conclusion.

B&q employees are always extremely helpful a* to recruitment team. They have so much knowledge with the products they are selling its actually amazing! I always leave completely satisfied. Ladies at click & collect were extremely helpfull today when i ordered the wrong size flooring. I had to just wait for them to bring me the correct ones doing all the math themselves without any hassle or having to order myself. It was very quick and they were extra kind. Thank you so much x

On Tuesday, 29th Nov. I went for shopping at Enfield B&Q. There were heavy items in my trolley and I was struggling to push it to my car. A gentleman, trolly man called George saw me and offered me help to push it to my car.He was very helpful and kind staff which I was very impressed. I hope every staff were as kind and helpful as him there. I normally find some stuff there very unhelpful. Thank you George. All this 5 stars for you to being so kind and hard working.

Went in for different types of screws and wall plugs and were able to find what we needed. Whilst there I also wanted to get some tension rods for my daughters wardrobe but was surprised to find out when we asked staff (after looking everywhere) that they didn’t have them but not a huge issue. We also wanted to find a multi detector and spoke with a really nice female member of staff who helped us to identify the right product which was much appreciated.

A disappointing first visit to the new store. The store is much smaller since it moved, about quarter the size, and the garden centre area reduced similarly with a small area and selection of plants. This used to be my 'go to' branch for plants and pots, even though there are others closer to where I live. I came away empty handed, lamenting the loss of the old store. The saving grace are the staff, who are still as friendly and as helpful as ever.

  • Abdullah Yildirim

Compared to where they moved from, this new store is much smaller, parking availability is reduced greatly as more numerous and busier neighbouring businesses at this new site. This was the Toys R Us store. Store layout is not as organised, and it's harder to find what you need. There are fewer options of everything at this new site. I noticed a lot more staff, and it looked like they were getting trained. The Garden Centre looks beautiful.

Attended in 1st February after 6pm and the lady at the self-service checkout and the man at the mixed paints were both quite rude and shrugged me away when I asked them for help selecting wall plugs and a drill. They are happy standing around and not responding to questions the guy told me to move away from the till area of mixed paints as if I was a bad smell…no one even gave me a second of their time, they just shrugged me off.

Was turned away from entering with my dog here. I've been coming to b&q for over 15 years from when it was at the other site. They used to always be dog friendly. Really disappointed to be turned away because I was with my dog. I've always knowns this place to be dog friendly hence me always coming to shop here with my 4 legged friend. I'll have to take my business to Wickes and homebase instead.

Virtually every visit in this store causes me stress. Most of the staff are not able to help - insufficient training? I was returning an item yesterday, the cashier gave his best to show how little he cares, at the end of the transaction he ground out "that's it". No thank you, no apologies for the faulty item, no have a good day. Blank stare and "that's it".

  • Horroryas (Horroryas)

Has a lot to offer, has supplies for indoor and outdoor. However I'm a bit confused upon why they were also selling dead plants. I haven't gotten the chance to explore the whole store as I didn't visit for that, but they had things for bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms and gardens. The store itself is also big and is spacious for people to walk around inside.

  • Trevor St

A brunette curly haired staff member mid 30's about 5'3 blatantly ignored me, just continued to chat to another staff member, I should've made a note of the name and complained. I managed to make eye contact but she just looked away. This is not the first time I have experienced being ignored when needing help at this store.

  • David McKinney

Good stock and large selection however the board cutting service has been closed on my last few visits and they only had 3 of about 10 tills open despite queues. Irritatingly I had to go back to the paint desk to collect hardener for 2 pack filler after purchase. Why don't they keep it at the till or service desk?

  • Kathie Teahan

New, smaller store. Moving to a new site has resulted in a much reduced floor space, parking and product range. It's probably a better shop with less stuff in each aisle, but it's clean, tidy and bright. Overall it probably meets the needs of the reduced numbers of in store shoppers. Still got it's Trade Counter.

  • Steven

Very good customer service from Simon and Greg in the gardening section. We very much appreciate the enthusiasm, support and kindness extended by the two individuals in helping us out and seeing to our enquiries. We hope that they are recognised for there exceptional customer support in there next appraisal.

  • Cuma Erodgan

I ordered new kitchen units here, person who design my kitchen send totally wrong side panels. When i talk with store manager she rudely didn’t accept replacement but when I sent all photos provided panels wrong she accept partly replacement. Totally unacceptable rude manager. She is name Courtney Watt.

  • Esther Horne

It was still standing.unfortunately with very few staff to help on the shop floor than one needs on a Sunday when amateurs in DIY arrive. The lampshade size I wanted was not available in the size they supposed to stock in the colour l wanted. A wasted journey to a less than inviting store.

  • Andreas Gabriel

Staff not helpful at all. Can never find someone and when you do they are reluctant to help. Culture change needed. Would suggest upskilling your team leaders to motivate staff in giving great customer service. Would also invest in looking at what great customer service looks like.

  • Gillian Curtis

It's clear this is being moth-balled as lack of stock in most things, store is tired and filthy, with mice running around! Staff dont seem to care either. Online stock check doesn't work, you'll be lucky to get what you need here. Shame as not many DIY stores in the area.

  • Paul Remmy

The worst customer service ever! branch clearly needs to send Sam (lady) for severe training on how to talk to customers. sheer attitude and rudeness. not willing to help, kept on kissing her teeth on the phone. when i asked to transfer me to store manager she refused.

  • Stella Amaso-Nedderman

Lots of building , decorating and garden related items...but never any staff on hand to help customers who need advice or help. Customer service is abominable. What's the point is there in giving an option to speak to staff and the phone rings for 10 minutes straight!

  • Leila W

I don't normally leave reviews but Sam from Decor in the Enfield B&Q needs a special mention. There was a bit of a mix up with paints ordered this evening but he dealt with it in such a professional manner. He was incredibly helpful and diligent, most impressive.

  • Rita Morris

Went to buy paint which I did but was quite surprised that there wasn't a wider range like they use to have. Other than that, it was fine, self service till, my elderly uncle did say he would've walked out without buying cause he find them difficult.

  • Julie Griffith

The new store is smaller but found the staff very helpful. They actually tried their best to find what I wanted. Parking is more difficult now so probably best to use the end car park rather than the main retail park as there is more space that end.

  • P G

Since they moved from last location to new location vast DIY availability gone still you can buy selections but not like previous not everything you need is available so you might have to go few more DIY places to buy all you want not in one place

  • Kwaku Yeboah

Bought some paint. Decent prices and good value for money. Staff service this time was super helpful and scanned my items for me at the till. Other staff member well super helpful in directing me to the correct aisle for the products needed.

  • Daniel Meco

Don't waste your time going to this shop. They majority of staff are utterly USELESS and RUDE . I was waiting in the wood cutting service for 15 min until someone picked up the phone and tells me that they are on lunch break... At 16.00 pm.

  • Will Garner

Often a major lack of staff available and poor stock levels. I needed to get some wood cut for some furnishing shelvings. Someone said they only work in the morning. I then spoke with someone else who said they would be in Monday morning (3

  • Paul Lowe

New screw and fittings pick 'n mix in the hardware section is a great new addition! £2 for a small bag, but you can stuff it with as many screws/bolts/nuts etc as you can fit in.....good value and much better than the previous packs that

  • L V

My good old trusty local B&Q. It's a good store, although today's visit was pretty low on stock. We went for a certain light bulb and there wasn't any in stock. We also wanted to buy two 1m ropes, and the cutting machine was blunt, but

  • Ayesha A

Great variety of products. Lack of staff on the shop floor and counter, so if you buy, there is a long wait to be served. Love the fact you could buy wood and have it cut while in shop. overall good experience apart from the wait

  • Peter Powell p

Not as big as previous store and parking is more challenging. I still recommend this store as there is a vast selection and high stock levels. The staff are generally helpful and knowledgeable and the pricing is reasonable

  • J K

Large store with lots on display so you can see different products before you buy. I designed and bought my kitchen via the 1-2-1 B&Q appointment service they provide. It was easy, quick and I would definitely recommend.

  • Gina Newman

Such a helpful branch of b&q I drive out of my way to use this one, as the branch near me in Friern Barnet is awful. Staff are attentive and go out of their way to assist you. This branch is a credit to the company

  • Suga Dan

Elouise was so helpful today, great customer service, thank you! Syed however....hmm further training may be required. The store is tidy and has a variety of homeware and hardware, I'll definitely return.

  • Will

Update - new store is much better, much more staff too, some are not as helpful and disappear when you request for something or help. --- 1 person on tills with a massive queue. Major lack of staff here.

  • Victor liburd

Clean and well laid out store following the B&Q standard layout. Friendly staff and plenty of easy access tills. At last a store with purpose built trolleys for large planks/sheets of timber …

  • Anthony Yogarajah

Has what you need - prices definitely are up but so is everything else at the current time. Helpful but I'd say more smiles are needed - floor staff. Cashiers however were pleasantly smiling

  • David Fetteroll

This store moved and it was the first time I had visited it. Staff were very helpful as regards paint though did not appear to have the range or the signage as before. Self service till.

  • James Farenden

B&Q downgrade their size. It’s not big like the other place. The Staff don’t know where most of the stuff is. If they moved everything over and open more space. I give it a 5.

  • Rafiq Khamkar

Yesterday afternoon, I went to the New B&Q store in Enfield. I was totally disappointed it's smaller than the previous store and they don't sell everything.

  • Tracey

This is the first time visiting this branch of B & Q Store very neat & tidy. Got what I needed. Staff were very nice & helpful. 5***** …

  • Bella Hegley

Went in this evening for the wood cutting service. Was served by Taz who was very helpful and friendly. Great service, thanks!

  • Melody Brandrick

I liked this store the only thing about it was lack of store staff and long ques at tills. It's now moved to where Aldi is...

  • Toddy Peters

Very nice newish HUGE garden centre. Very friendly and helpful staff even on 10 mins before closing time on a Sunday

  • Vista Media

This store is now closed and has opened a new store round the corner next to Aldi and near Sainsbury's.

  • Polly

This store seems very insufficient or at least this was the case just today(hopefully).

  • G S

Some products are reduced to half price because they are moving up the road.

  • Mark Doherty

Good size store, staff were helpful unfortunately didn't have what I needed

  • Finmental

Nice new store. Good selection of products. Paint mixing lady was great!

  • Terry Denney

Not helpful staff still waiting for my delivery no news at from them.

  • Ed The Dhlams

A very useful place to go to when you need a variety of things.

  • Bernardine Duru

Poor selection of goods since store moved site
