If you're looking for a bakery that truly embodies the art of baking, look no further than Bake'n Babes. Jenna was the best with treating my family with smiles and great treats! From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with the irresistible aroma of fresh-baked bread and pastries. The display cases are filled with an array of treats that are as beautiful as they are delicious. But what really sets Bake'n Babes apart is the quality of their baked goods. Bake'n Babes is by far one of the best bakery’s in the greater Tampa area and definitely a must for a family trip! Each bite is a testament to the skill and care that goes into creating them. My favorite item was the Babe Shake, you can taste the passion that goes into every sip! And it's not just the ice cream and shakes that are exceptional. The staff at Bake'n Babes are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help you find the perfect treat to satisfy your craving. Jenna was above and beyond! Their customer service is top-notch and they truly go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience.

In my quest to find the perfect chocolate chip cookie, I came across a new shop at Armature Works. First, I hate that parking there costs $10, but that is on the City of Tampa for not doing better. I ordered 6 of the chocolate chip, and these cookies are massive. I found it interesting that their sampler pack is $25 for 6 when 4 of the 6 cookies in the sampler pack are at the lower price point (6 for $20), and 2 are at the higher price point. This seems to be a miss in marketing, but perhaps they have their reasons. Now onto the star- the cookie. Their chocolate chip have salt on them which is such a great tool to ensure the cookie isn’t overly sweet. The proportion of dough to chocolate chip is perfect. Some cookies are so full of chips/chunks/nuts that you cannot taste the cookie. Well, they got that part right. This is a meticulously balanced cookie with exceptional flavor. I would rank it 9 out of 10, and definitely worth stoping by to try. They have another location on Davis island, which avoids the armature works parking problem.

Our experience at Bake n Babes was amazing! The menu has lots of yummy treats and a variety of everything such as cookies, ice cream, even brownies. At first the pricing is a bit of a sticker shock but after receiving my item you definitely get your money worth. My husband and I got the fruity pebble cookie milkshake and LOVED it (my husband isn't a huge cereal fan but enjoyed this)! The soft serve ice cream that they use for the shake is like no other soft serve we've ever tasted. It was different but a good kind of different. It was sweet but not too sweet, thick & creamy. The shake was 12 dollars but we were able to share the shake and felt full after eating. The shop is definitely busy but the wait time wasn't too long. The customer service was good and the decor of the shop really draws you in. If you're thinking about stopping in please do it is worth it.

Neither here nor there. Overhyped just enough to appease a very easily appeased hipster demographic, this joint is more instagrammable than memorable. Sizeable portion for a steep price, their goods taste a tad overbaked and mass-produced and are largely forgettable some five minutes after-the-fact. Does not hold a candle to any homebaked equivalent, wherein you layer a shortbread or graham crust with oreos and any reasonable brownies. If compared with, say, Levain's for cookies; Glenn's Family Bakery for Florida CBD goods; or DG Doughnuts for Crack Brownies; this one falls more on the poor man's version of Killer Brownies, only with less (hopefully) carcinogenic ingredients and nonsense thrown in. Not bad, not especially good. Middle-of-the-road as middle-of-the-road could be.

Wow. All I can say is wow. If you are someone who has a sweet tooth, like myself, then you have found the right place! My first impression of this delightful bakery was when I was immediately greeted by the lovely employee named Jenna, who patiently went through nearly the entire menu with me, and even included her own personal recommendations. We eventually decided on the regular chocolate chip cookie, which was quite possibly the most delicious food to ever touch my tongue. It was warm, filled with melted chocolate, and simply melted away in my mouth. I will definitely be coming back, and I am sure that anyone else who likes some sweetness in their life will love it as much as I did!

I ordered the brownie. It was $7.00. So i was expecting a pretty good brownie which is was,and to my surprise it was actually a brownie,cookie, Oreo. But unfortunately it was extremely hard on the outside, like inedible hard. My friend thought that i was exaggerating until he grabbed a knife and tried cutting through it but it made a sound against the brownie because of how hard it was. Other than the outside being hard as a brick. The inside was soft and delicious. I would recommend coating the browning with oil before putting it in so it’s as soft as the inside!!! I also tried the Nutella cookies and it was also very good and unlike the brownie extremely soft on the inside and out.

We wanted to start the new year off strong as a family and come down to Armature Works for the first time, even though we’ve lived here forever. First stop of the day was Bake’n Babes, our daughter saw a picture of “the works” and had been begging to try it. It was great! Whatever those gold sprinkles were on the top really sealed it for me. The staff was very friendly and was patient while our daughter flipped flopped between “the works” and the cone shaped like a fish (which I’ll be trying sooner than later). Happy New Years and check this place out!!

Delicious Desserts! I went on a busy day but still the employees handed out food with great speed. The brownie is good but kinda stale with the multiple layers, the cookie was good but seemed to have some salt on it which was a little odd. The limited October ice cream was pretty, the cupcake was delicious, the fun accessories added to the experience, but I wish they had a little more flavor to the ice cream besides that a great place to visit! But I can't see me buying at this place a lot with the price and the flavor this may be a one place to visit.

Me and my girlfriend were taking the dog for a walk when we both agreed that we wanted something sweet. We walked into your shop and was greeted with a smile by Emily and she had endless suggestions. After agreeing on one of your famous brownies she mentioned we could top it off with ice cream which was the perfect duo!! She even took the time to mention that you guys have pup cups so our puppy was able to crave her sweet tooth with us!! I think we’re going to make this a regular thing when we go for walks!!

Literally the worst cookies I've ever had. I'm a professional pastry chef, and I didn't think anyone could ruin a chocolate chip cookie...guess I was wrong. These taste like they literally mixed together oil (not butter), a pinch of sugar, baking powder/soda, flour...annnnnd that's basically it. Completely missing ANY flavor whatsoever. I'm throwing them away. Not worth the calories. Not to mention they're completely underbaked...no wonder they have reheating instructions on the packaging...

If I were review just the Salted Chocalate Chip I would rate a 2 but since I got a Fruity Pebble, I gave it a 3. The Salted CC was undercooked AT BEST, limited salt spinkles and the base cookie recipe tasted like a sugar cookie recipe with choc chips added. Very disappointed. The Fruit Pebbles cookie was same base cookie dough rolled in FP which gave it a great flavor. This wasy 2nd time trying this location. Same disappointment. Stay home and make your own. ‍♀️

DELICIOUSNESS!!! Super creative desserts and very delicious flavors perfectly baked! We stumbled upon a little gem! We had the Sleazy Brownie, the Nutella Babe Shake and a Cheesecake-filled cookie! All winners!! Robert especially was hilarious and very friendly and sold us on the various desserts! (He needs a raise for sure!!) Also I present an official request to bring a location to Ocala, FL! Very nice place employees can be a bit more nice but reminding customers they the only one doing milk shakes makes u feel like u a bother and don't want to make them work. I drove from orlando just because i thought it was a super cute place and because of the pup cup and when placing order that was the 1st thing the girl said. Besides that cookies are thick and rich. Would have brought more but decided to discover what was next door.

If you have a sweet tooth, this is definitely the place for you. I didn’t order the extravagant drink that they offer but I this time I tried out their fruit pebbles cookies. Honestly, it was a little dry for me. The center was a bit more moist but it was really sweet for my liking. I’m giving four stars because I previously tried their chocolate chip cookie and that was the best cookie I’ve ever had.

I love ice cream, my wife loves brownies. This place has both! Another review says overpriced, but what it fails to mention is how delicious it is. So yeah, more than I want to spend, but worth it. I ordered “the works” which featured a mermaid theme this month. This included soft serve vanilla ice cream with blue and purple sprinkles along with strawberry cookies, pink cotton candy, a vanilla cupcake with strawberry ice cream and a light up narwhal and a dress “ball” mermaid tail. It was certainly a sight to behold but it was just as yummy as it looked!

I'm surprised this place has such good reviews. I guess presentation and location is everything. I hate to be mean but the cookies don't taste good at all. They are clearly made with margarine/oil, not a lick of butter. They have a very unpleasant smell and aftertaste. I'm not very picky at all but I am a home baker and there's something very off about these.

I had to stop and try what I hear is straight delicious. I picked out the salted chocolate chip CBD cookies and it was soooo moist and simply was like heaven in your mouth.... My granddaughters were so excited about going here. The said they would give it a 2 out of 10 the presentation was horrible. They ordered the Taiyaki ice cream the cone fell apart very soft. The lady was digging in her nose who was making someone else ice cream. I made sure she did not touch my grand kids ice cream. Very disappointed.

Limited choices. The fruity pebble cookie ice cream sandwich was good but hard to eat and too big. The ice cream is soft serve so it can't be bitten bc the cookie is so thick and hard. It's good like super sugary not cakey type cookie. The oreo cookie brownie was just ok dry for my taste I prefer a gooey brownie. About $20 for both.

I had never tried such delicious cookies, the first time I tried them was when a friend gave a bite at school. Then I had to go try them on my own, Alicia was the lady who helped me that day, she really knows how to give good customer service and she has a very warm smile. I left the store with a big smile and a happy stomach.

This place is cute! Definitely an IG photo op type of place. The softserve didn't taest like anything, the bear cone teasted like old dough that was mix with dish soap. The cookie things was okay but I've had better. I give it up to the cashier thought, should have listened to her and stuck with the milkshakes.

The first time I went there it was an amazing experience!! And they definitely had crazy flavors of cookies. My favorite is the fruity pebbles one!! I get it every time. Jenna(one of the workers) was very friendly and outgoing! She made my experience 10x better. Keep up the good work baken babes !!!

Sunday I came to Armature Works for the first time. I got some dinner with a friend and was craving a sweet treat. It was hard choosing between a cookie or ice cream, but luckily they had both! Alicia helped me up front. The Fruity Pebble with soft serve was a 10/10.

Visiting from California, came across this gem of a dessert shop. Cookies and soft serve were delicious and thematically fun! Not to mention the customer service, both Nina and SunFlower were extremely helpful and patient as we figured out what we wanted.

Delicious baked goods. I consider myself a chocolate chip connoisseur, and I have to tip my hat and acknowledge the deliciousness they've created here. They even have one baked with CBD oil, so you can relax and ease on into bed shortly thereafter.

I went to this place twice and tried two different things and both of them sucked. The brownie was dry and pretty mediocre, and the cookie tasted like cake batter that didn't work. The texture was weird too. It's beyond me why it has a 4.4 stars...

I do not understand the high ratings to this place. It’s mediocre at best & bland at its worst. It has that commercially prepared taste to the cookies. The cookies are oily as all get up. It’s expensive. Just bake your own - you will be happier.

Prefer this chocolate chip cookie over the one from crumbl. It had the perfect amount of saltiness, crispness, and sweetness! The Nutella stuffed cookie was also tasty. Even warming them up in the microwave we’re just as delicious.

Grabbed a few things to sample what they have going on. The fruity pebbles and classic chocolate chip cookies were solid. Also grabbed a sleazy brownie, but there is too much going on for my taste. Overall I think good, not great.
