We stayed in the Bears Wood indoor block overnight on a winter weekend hike. The team has done a brilliant job maintaining and improving the site and accomodation, and this is a great resource for scouts. Brilliant industrial scale kitchen can easily cater for large groups, bunk rooms were clean and well maintained, separate adult accomodation and ample rooms for scout combinations to keep you easily POR compliant. Wood stove was burning on arrival for us, cracking! We hiked in on the London Loop from Coulsdon South, a relatively easy but beautiful 14km walk. Great countryside hiking very accessible by public transport from central London. Keep it up team, we'll be back very soon! Greenwich 49th Scouts

Me and my daughter had an absolutely fantastic time at the Family camp. Despite the rain and us both being addicted to home comforts, it was amazing to be outside doing so many wonderful activities....even in the rain! The staff are kind, cheerful and passionate. The food was great, and the sense of community was even better!! A perfect hidden little gem

Used to go here when I was little and in the Cubs and scouts. Now my parents are pack leaders fire the cubs. This is an excellent and controlled environment for your little ones.

A great little scout campsite; the crew are doing so much work to take it back to a really natural state. Quiet, clean, and a fantastic building.

Completely self contained Scout campsite with both areas to pitch tents and a building with 30 bunk beds. Very friendly crew and site warden.

This place is great. Well run and looked after plenty of activities to do. Camping ground is great and they have several rooms available.

Nice new sign really helps finding this tucked away site...bedrooms a bit musty but the log burner is a real bonus.

Scout group camps - Cubs and Scouts - were good, kids enjoyed themselves and location.
