I recently had the pleasure of getting a haircut with Benjamin and a colour with Anna at BenjaminRyan hair salon, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! Firstly, Benjamin completely understood the vision I had for my haircut. He took the time to listen to my preferences and offered valuable suggestions based on my hair type and face shape. His attention to detail was impeccable, and he executed the haircut with precision and skill. I walked out of the salon feeling confident and absolutely in love with my new hairstyle. I definitely will not recommend this place. Looks like they don't know what they are doing. Totally unprofessional. I had an appointment with Molly. We discussed and decided I want layers on my overall hair. After long one hour it was such a unfinished and uneven cut... no way it was layers.... Molly clearly saw what she had done and ask his colleague James to help in. James Totally unprofessional person. He exepreimented with my hair on the name of fixing the damage. You can't fix hair which is been cut badly. James then started blaming me that My hair are thick that's why layers are not coming. When I contradict this he said oh because you have got coloured hair that's why layers can not be seen. At this point I was in tears as instead of accepting the mistake James decided to blame the customer. After sometime he couldn't think of any execuse so he said requirements was not clear and we don't do layers. As the first thing I did was to sat with Molly and agreed what haircut I want. I made a big mistake coming here. Total waste of time, money. Ruined my hair. Unprofessional people who blame customer rather accepting their mistake.

I went in for a blow dry and had high expectations from this salon. Firstly, my appointment was at 2pm but the stylist didn’t get to me until 2:30pm. Unfortunately, the blow dry for my nephews wedding that evening, was of a poor standard. I have 2 autistic boys and getting a blow dry was one less thing for me to think about. Unfortunately, I had to re-do my hair when I got home. The staff were lovely, the stylist, who out of respect I won’t name, was lovely. However, she did not have the skill to blow dry my hair the way I wanted it to be blow dried. I don’t have problematic/difficult hair either. I ended up with one side of my head having curly hair with frizzy ends snd the other side straighter with frizzy ends. I paid £45, which is not massive money, but it is when you have been massively inconvenienced. I ended up late for my nephew’s wedding. Would not go there again, unless it was with Ben or Ryan, who, incidentally, did my wedding hair 12 years ago and it was lovely.

This is the second time I have been to Benjamin Ryan Hair for a full head colour with Ellis and a cut blow dry with Ben and each time I have had a wonderful experience. Ellis is an excellent colour technician really knows what she doing with colour and really takes the time to listen. My colour lasts really well and my hair remains in good condition until my next appointment. I have long hair, Ben cuts my hair beautifully and is a real perfectionist, he is very personable and professional and takes his time to make sure you leave looking fabulous!!!! Ben also gives you lots of tips to maintain you style at home. All the staff at the salon are also just so professional and caring I would not go anywhere else now, I travel from Dudley because I know I’m going to get a really good service and experience!!!!Thank you so much guys!!!!!

I had an appointment with Nancy and had to take my 3 small children with me, it was a 5pm appointment and she was still smiling and made my children feel welcome by giving them a tablet to watch and staff offered them a drink. I also needed to take the children to the toilet and with all of this going on she still gave me a great experience and listened to exactly how I wanted my hair cut and delivered. I am really great full for your kindness and obviously giving me a fabulous haircut. It's the first time I've had a cut by Nancy as always see Ben and Ryan but will definitely use Nancy again, sorry boys. I have been going to get my haircut by Ben since my 20s and I'm now 41 and I always get commented on my hair so that just shows how great they are!!!

Amazing all around and the best hairdresser in West Midlands without any doubt ! I moved to the UK 11 years ago and have been to many hair salons but this place is next level and I am so pleased I have finally found my place! I am their client good few years now. Everyone that works there is super friendly and welcoming and what is the most important, so passionate. I mostly using service of Ben, I cannot recommend him enough, he is just incredible! I got full highlights. He is always so detailed and thorough in his work and really took the time to actually educate me as well behind the hair process and how to maintain my hair after. This was my first visit to Bejamin Ryan, i was very sceptical choosing a salon and getting my hair done after my last hair disaster with different hair dresser. But Ellis understood really well what i wanted, she is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed. She asked me how I wanted my cut to be and she actually gave me a fab cut exactly how I wanted it(layers and face frame). Not going anywhere else again, this will be my go to salon as I can’t trust anyone with my hair again except them, my overall experience was fantastic i really loved my hair and how they turned out. I booked a consultation with Courtney and I was able to show her photos of what colour I desired. She suggested just using a toner on my hair to tone down the blonde which would result in a more brunette look. The following week I had my appointment. Everyone was very friendly. You’re offered a drink when you arrive and the salon was very clean! I had never had a stylist suggest a toner instead of using permanent colour before but I was very pleased with the results and the colour looks great! It’s so incredibly soft as well! I would definitely recommend Courtney!

This was my first time visiting Benjamin Ryan. The staff are really knowledgeable and I felt they listened to what I wanted and cut my hair in a way that would suit me rather than cutting it in a standard way. The only thing I would say is that I wish I had more time to look through the kerastase menu. Saying that, after explaining what my main hair issues were, I was recommended the nourishing and protein boost treatment, which I think suited my hair. Will definitely be returning!

I have just moved to Birmingham from London and was on the look out for a new hairdresser which is always daunting and pot luck! So glad I found Benjamin Ryan. I had a cut and blow dry by Nancy and she really listened to what I was trying to do with my hair (grow a pixie cut out but also keep it in a style) and she cut it so well. Hands down the best blow dry I’ve ever had as well, I’ve never left a salon and loved my blow dry!! Amazing feeling and I’ll definitely be back.

It was my first visit to Benjamin Ryan Hair recently and I can honestly say that this is my forever hairdresser’s now. Jack cut, coloured and styled my hair and I have never been happier with it. I received an amazing new hair cut and style from Anthony on Friday - I love it! I was quite nervous and was put at ease by him and given some great advice on my hair as it had been quite a while since i'd been to a salon. Amazing staff all round, very welcoming and to top it off I was offered a lovely glass of wine. This place was a recommendation from my friend and i will definitely be returning and recommending to others.

Another wonderful experience with Ellis. She has coloured my hair approximately half a dozen times now, including a cut, which still looks and feels amazing. This is such a nice salon; everyone is friendly and down to earth and the salon itself it clean, modern and appealing. I particularly look forward to my cappuccino with chocolate, sit back and relax. Fabulous salon! Friendly staff and great service. Ben is an amazing stylist and I would highly recommend. I don't live in the area anymore but I still come back to Ben, he's that good! Went for a hair cut after a curly perm left my hair damaged and dry beyond belief. Even though I was late they still managed to fit me in with a treatment and wet cut and style. Benjamin did a class Job on my hair, I’d previously been to other salons and left not feeling 100% on the job, but there was no doubt about it this time.
