There is just nobody available for questions. The phone models don't let you really check out the video specs. I learned more from the greeting attendant who has the alternative model phone to what I wanted. After 3 visits at different times I can never get someone to answer some practical questions before buying a phone that costs over 1k. The store has the same uninspired set up as Future Shop and whatever came before them...¿MTL trivia? The most evident of differences being you used enter and find someone to help you within minutes or they were noticeably busy. Today there's a line of people turned zombies waiting their turn. Made me think of the afterlife waiting room in the movie Beetlejuice. I left before my head shrunk and I said his name 3 times. The website online offers seem to be the way. Stick with the Geek Squad offers for easier returns if dissatisfied and need a return as I was told by the 'Greetings and Salutations' expert before departing through the grand double doors. All that being said, they have better phone deals than anyone including Amazon. It's hard to believe like some much Metallic; sad but true.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! (especially from Victor) I am extremely dissatisfied with my purchase. I got scammed into buying an iPhone with the 2 years Geek Squad insurance. The employee (Victor) told me a false claim that the insurance covered something it did not because he knew it was important to me. While it was my fault that I didn’t take a closer look at the policy before buying, I trusted the supposed “expert” to give truthful information. When I went back to make an insurance claim, I had to wait 2 hours just to meet with a manager, only to be told Victor lied to me (which I had no evidence of but why would I spend hundreds of dollars and not triple-check something I cared about). I’m not saying that every Best Buy employees is sleezy, but it does say something about the overall corporate culture if both employee and manager of this branch are not customer centric. Overall, Best Buy has lost a customer for life.

*update to their reply*: There is no use to copy-pasting to us a link to their generic "Contact Us". We go in-store to get in-person help. Customer service will just reply and show us the rulebook deep between the lines of it which rule shows I cannot return our stuff after the 30 day return window. A joke. Original review: I took the time to ask the Components technician on the floor AND thr cashier if I could return my drives if they were opened for testing out. Except for the package's exterior tape being cut *Razor Straight*, everything else was immaculate. They refused the return because of their rulebook which does NOT state it; it is only printed on the receipt. Employee's inconpetence to Best Buy's profit. Don't buy here unless you know PERFECTLY what you are looking for and expect no after-sale service

It doesn't get any easier to leave a store empty handed, these dudes couldn't sell a bottle of water to a man dying of thirst. Came in fully ready to buy an $850 item and 4yr purchase protection. Insane margins on this sale. The only barrier was that they wouldn't bring out a remote to change the brightness on the demo monitor I was looking at. I've worked at Best Buy, I know y'all keep the remotes in the lock up, "we need a technician to do it" my a**. Reviews online make it clear that the brightness of the monitor was a divisive aspect of the product and I wasn't about to make an $850 purchase without seeing what it was capable of. All I got from the rep was "trust me bro, it's bright", and "what? you don't believe me?" when I said I'd need to see it to believe it. Better luck next time.

Wasted 20min of my time. Came in to trade in an old phone to buy some headphones. Asked an employee how to trade in the phone, he said go wait in line at the Best Buy Mobile section. I waited 20min in line then it was my turn, got told I couldn't trade in the phone today because it would take 30 minutes to do the trade-in. I told him literally everyone buying a new phone was there for 20-30min doing the activation process. Still no. Wouldn't be annoyed if I wasn't told to wait there initially, wasted 20mins of my time. Brought my money elsewhere and will be doing so in the future.

Every time I go to this store I can’t help but feel so sorry for the owners of Best Buy and the amount of money they are losing with this location. The store clerks are just there to chat amongst themselves. Even if you actively request for help, they will give you a look and treat you like you don’t deserve to be there. Only come to this store if you’re ready to find by yourself the thing you’re looking for. I was ready to spend a good amount of money in a new monitor and I didn’t just cause I didn’t consider a customer service like that deserves my money

One star is to much for this store the seller was rude and not friendly, I never go there , sorry for best by to have such a seller and supervisor, I went there to transfer the data from my hard drive to a usb, a guy ( Adil) through my hard drive on the floor and ruined all my business data and brought me a treble disaster and didn’t take responsibility of his fault, and the supervisor too, as it was their fault expected they try to bring back my data, I wish I had never gone there

I came back after speaking to a helpful sales rep about washer and dryers. She wasn’t there but her manager refused to honor the price match policy after I found the same washer dryer set at Home Dépôt. I was polite and calm, he started yelling at me like I was trying to rip him off. I took an Uber straight to the Home Dépôt and bought the washer dryer there. If you are going to buy an LG front-loading washer dryer save yourself the trouble. I had a good laugh about this whole situation.

I've ordered a Samsung galaxy product for my wife's birthday, but at the due date it was not delivered to the store. That day was my last day in Montreal and they had nothing in stock to offer me. I was so disappointed and felt ignored, but finally a very kind staff named Chelsea found me a canceled order with the same specs and I could spend a great day with my wife. I literally was scammed in this store. It's called horrible buy not best buy. I bought my laptop in juin with 900$ after two months of use the screen didn't work, so I gave them back the laptop to fix it and asked them if they can give money back to me but they refused. After 3 weeks they gave it back to me claiming that they fixed it;However toda they stopped working again. I'm wondering and blaming my self for horrible buy.

I read the review section of this branch and was terrified about the customer service. In contrast, i found the person dealt my issue with professionalism and helped me to place a new order in exchange of newly purchased product. Best buy needs to think about their product line up and come with more reliable stuffs, especially, electronic devices like camera, gimbal..

I bought my new laptop from there on 8 September 2023. Some of them are nice in communicating, some don't know English and some even don't know how to deal with the customers. Plus, they don't know after buying a product it is necessary to give a bag to the customer. I can say many things but don't want to waste my time here.

Worst customer service I've seen in a while. I wanted to buy a Macbook Pro and asked for advice. The sale associates had no knowledge of the product. One of them started walking away without even asking if he answered my question. Everyone just looks extremely disengaged.
