Very shady, stay away. Went there to buy a TV, the rep tried very aggressively to sell me extra features, I just said "no" and he got defensive, giving me a speech about how they don't work on commission. Worst salesmanship I've seen in a very long time. Bought the TV and tried to set up the delivery and installation. They were booked solid for the next two weeks. I tried to have it just delivered without the installation, but they insisted the installation was included so I should take it (and wait some 3 weeks until they are available, even though the delivery could have happened within days). The store manager then showed up and this is where things really went south. Store manager told me he would call me as soon as someone else cancels, and will set up the delivery and installation. I asked about the return policy and whether the return period starts on purchase or delivery, store manager assured me it would be upon delivery. I paid for the TV, and the fine print on the bill clearly stated "30 days from purchase". They even sent me a bill via email that stated "30 days from initial purchase". I pointed the store manager to it, after which he angrily assured me that it's "upon delivery", then scribbled something on my bill and left. When I saw that he had scribbled "30 days after purchase" I asked for a refund, more anger from the store manager ensued and I left with my money back but a very bitter taste and wasted time & nerves. Bottom line, never go to this Best Buy. Customer service is a very foreign concept to the staff from the manager on down and you will get screwed.

So how do i start? Do i start by how poor the customer service is or lies they tell to customers. I have been 3 times at this store in a single day and guess what ? This store and the one on st catherine when they don’t want to work they tell you to go back to the store where you bought the item(whether it is open or not. Trust me i tried twice and the box was factory closed) Even the store where i bought the items tried to scam me the same way. Trying to put it on someone else. It is truly a shame. Not only that i have i have been sooooooo poorly treated everytime i went to the Acadie marché Central Best Buy. It’s amazing. I have been through all kind of racism due to my skin color but the feeling i had being there was worst than all kind of racism i ever had. Not even an once of respect. Today i talked to Johnny, i am actually complaining because of him. I have never had such a bad service. Talking to me like i am a nuisance. It was my first time going to a store checking and double checking the name of an agent just to make a complaint. He was rude disrespectful and truly unprofessional. I even told him it wouldn’t be that bad if he was a little bit nicer. No surprise when he ignored me. I could say much more but i live it to this. Hope something will be done because in 2019 poor service means losing a lot of customer. Good luck. I really hope that this post goes viral i might post it on Twitter and Facebook.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. I show up midweek when the store is quiet. I pulled up in the curb side pick up, tried to register for 10 minutes and each way I try, I get the message that they are closed. I walk in to pick up my order. At the pick up counter there are 2 other people in line. I figure great it'll be fast. But no! As my turn comes to be served, one blue shirt turns to his colleague and tells her go on break. How is the customer not the main focus. I am the last person in line, she can finish and then go on break when line is cleared. Then about 4 blue shirts gather up at the pick up area and are all chatting, yet no one takes a minute and says: "can u help you sir". Then they all leave and I am still waiting in line. This whole time there was one blue shirt at the counter, fiddling with paper work and not once said how can I help you. After being served I've told them this is the worst customer service I've ever experienced and I've worked and managed customer service teams in the past. One of the blue shirts reply was "THIS IS A DIFFERENT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE". He's right this is a "different" kind of customer service indeed. BEST BUY: you just lost a client. I can find your items at better prices at the following locations. Canadian tire, Wal-Mart or Amazon and that's just to name a couple. Simply unacceptable!

I don't usually like to leave bad reviews but I feel this is a well-deserved one. Bought a 700$ phone from here, not a plan but an outright purchase. Part of the deal was a Zagg invisible shield screen protector. When I installed it a while later, turns out it was smaller than the phone, literally designed for a smaller model. After having gone back and forth between customer service and their mobile staff, a supervisor there literally lied to my face saying this model never had a Zagg screen protector designed for it and said they gave me the correct one. They wouldn't even give me store credit to get something else. The protector is clearly smaller and parts of screen are exposed. I contacted Zagg who showed me the exact screen protectors for my phone. What a bad customer service at this Best Buy, liars too... Update: So they replied to my review asking me to contact them, which I did by chat, where the customer service agent on chat told me the exact same time that the customer service agent before her said about a 2 weeks ago "we will forward this to the manager and someone will reach out" and all that copy paste stuff customer service stuff. Let's see if anyone will actually do anything. Review stays until I deem you have done your jobs properly. *Update: reached out to them, they never replied. What a bad customer service.

Poor customer service, I got a really bad experience as some clercks, there, need a lot of training to be gentle and smart to handle the relation with the customer. i was ready to buy a TV for almost 900$ but what was surprising, the technician when asked for help, he said he 's not available , that's ok i can understand that, then i asked if he can send someone to assist me again , surprisingly he said he has 4 customers to handle and have no time to me '' come on what !!! '', he has no time to use the phone to ask for help ? . Anyway, I gently left him and asked another technician who said : ok i'm coming , he went out letting me up around 30min with another client without saying any words ?... it may appears nothing but sincerely there is a lot of training to provide here. As Manager, It s important to pay attention to such details especially serving the customers.Bottom line i left after 2hours spent for nothing after getting information that no Tvs are available in the shop and all purchases have to take around 2weeks delivery ... Wowwww. It's not the first time i got upset in this shop. but by the past i told to myself, that 's fine, things like that can happen . But really , since it's a recurrent issue and no improvement was made i can only assume that, that 's their way to do business !!!

They put the wrong address, messed up a number but only that made me have tons of problems! Such a hassle! I doubled checked & the address was right from the time the item was ordered. I wasted time talking to an agent only to be told that the item was returned to Best Buy & to order again with the right address?! YOU made a mistake! YOU wasted people’s time!!! Plus, when you go in person to the store, they are LITERALLY SUPER GREEDY. They will TRY ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING TO SELL YOU THE PRODUCT. THEY PANIC WHEN THEY SEE YOU PUTTING BACK YOUR WALLET. IT IS NOT MARKETING OR SELLING. IT IS BEING A LEECH! HARASSMENT! Most of the time, people just come to look! They literally don’t want to let you go till you buy something expensive! By expensive, I mean, not a couple hundred dollars but THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS! They are INSANE! Be VERY careful, don’t say that you have enough money to buy something. If you harass someone to buy a product non-stop while not letting the person go, it is STEALING! Something doesn’t go right in their head if you are that obsessed about people’s money that you make such a "no no" scared facial expression observing someone‘s hand putting back their wallet in their pocket & wanting to go back home! Get healed, "sellers"!

Got a very bad service from two sales associates at this store. I reserved two portable hard drive online and went to pick them up and wanted two bills, one for each. Also I wanted to get my bills emailed. Sales person at the desk had misspelled email address for one of the bills. When I pointed out that, he said he corrected it. But he has actually opted for printed bill for that device. I only realized it after coming home. From the very same person I asked if the filter for one of the humidifier displayed in front of this pickup counter is available. He said I have to ask it from someone in that department. However, when I ask it from a service associated in that department she told me she has two customers to take care of before me (apparently that was true as she was serving another customer at that time) and directed me to the pickup counter. When I told her that the person at the counter told me that for the products in this sections I have to get information from someone assigned to that particular department she was very confused. She event tried to find another associate to help me, but I had to leave after waiting for sometime. Also need to mention that this associate at the counter had no name tag. Otherwise I could have mentioned his name.

Worst home delivery service on earth!!! We had two big issues during ONE delivery. The first one was that the delivery guy just left the fridge in the hallway, in front of my neighbor’s door because we didn’t remove the door for him in advance!? How were we supposed to know that the we need to remove the door at all? We called the customer service right after that and they said that the delivery guy was supposed to do it in order to bring the fridge inside the apartment. Then they scheduled the delivery company to come back to bring the fridge in 2 days after. What a joke! I asked them how can I leave my fridge in the hallway throughout the night? And they just said “I’m sorry”!? The disaster didn’t end there. After that, we figured out that two out of the four legs of the Samsung washer are broken. We called the customer service again to hear that they will only be able to appoint someone to look at the defected part within 5 to 7 business days, then it will take another couple days in order for them to replace it if necessary. I can never imagine such a big company can treat their customer like this. Very unprofessional and irresponsible. Never use BEST BUY HOME DELIVERY SERVICE AGAIN!!

I had a very bad experience today in Best Buy. I tried to find a phone case, but cannot. Then I asked an assistance from a guy who sat around that area, he only pointed to another guy next to him who was making a phone call, and other customers were waiting next to him. I started to wait but noticed the guy could not finish his phone call soon, then I asked other guys to help. But seems nobody wanted to help the clients and the only reason was they not worked in this area. Best Buy hired many clerks, even more than customers that time since that time there were only a few customer. The clerks only stand there, or chatted with each other, or did nothing but not willing to help customers. I was a little unhappy and complained to a manager. The manager asked the guy who used to sit there to help me, but he cannot find the phone case. Then he asked the guy who was still in the phone, that guy only shake his head and said no they don’t have. I don’t think I will come back to this Best Buy again. And only want to say good luck to stores like Best Buy, they hired many clerks who are unwilling to serve the customers.

It was bad experience ever at the Best Buy marché central, Montreal. I felt humiliated and harassed me and my wife in front of all other costumers. The staff in the costumer service were the most rude and unprofessional personnel (M.Johnny, Mm.Oumyma,Mm.Valencia) Were ignoring to provide me a help for my purchase return issues, and pushing me to leave by servicing other costumers in place .and after that by talking to their tyran supervisor named M.Walid who made the things worst with his verbal and physical harassment!!! especially when I asked for complaints form he went totally crazy and aggressively grabbed and seized my cellphone from my hands without my consent and violating my right, until other customers reacted and told that he have to stop his uncivilized attitude! In the end the big manager M. Belkacem similarly had fairly aggressive demeanor and was even threatening me legal action if I will conduct a customer complaint for what happened!!! I’m very disappointed of the training and coaching level of the Best Buy personnel especially in the costumers service and cashiers side. “Worst buy “

Never in my life have I had such a bad experience with a company in Canada. Avoid at all costs. Good bye rather than good "buy". I'm usually very friendly with staff, but this rapacious salesman convinced me into paying a significant amount of money for a warranty on my Apple Air computer claiming "you never know what can happen". I naively assumed it was an actual warranty that would cover the expenses. However, I later noticed that 6 months later, after my friend spilled water on said computer I came back asking for a new one, but the thousand dollars of insurance I paid apparently did not apply. As he put it "we are all students you know", although the man was probably 50 years old and trying to take advantage of me. I do however recall the salesman mentioning such a problem would be covered. This incident happened last year, and they are still debiting money from my credit every month. Will never buy from them again, and will contact my bank to block them since they are literally directly debiting money from my bank account for no reason. Dishonest and fraudulent.

Worst Bestbuy location. The customer service is nowhere to be found. I went there for laptops. I didn't have anyspecific model in mind and would appreciate some honest advice. Me and my partner were quietly looking around for more than 10min, no one salesperson approached us. When finally someone showed up and I explained to him my needs, he literally just pointed to the laptop in front of me and said "that's the one" without any further explanation. I asked why and he replied that it has everything that I need. Full stop. I told him that I need more suggestions to compare, he refused to give any by pointing out again the same laptop. I felt that I waisted my time explaining my needs to him in the first place as he can't talk for more than one short sentence. My partner needs a computer accessory. Then we found another guy and asked him about the location of the item. He rudely answered us without specifying where exactly and left. So we spent roughly about 5min looking for it in the big section. I WILL AVOID THIS BEST BUY AT ALL COST!

This store is realy bad. BestBuy should fire these manager. Sarturday Nov.30th, We'll came to the store to buy a laptop for the kid. It's more than one week with 3 visits and they said the computer is still on order and not arrived yet. They refuse to refund us. 1st they lied to us that the computer price is 400 and needed to be setup by the store for the cost of 150$ and it can not be done buy us. 2nd the new sale rep. toll us the cost of the service is 100$ if we want the setup to be done by the store. 3rd After we paid for the order, the receipt shows 350$ for computer and 150$ for the the service. And the sale rep. toll us that the computer will be ready in a few days. 4th last Saturday they toll us to come back in 2 days, they will refund if the computer is not ready. And Monday Nov 9, there is still no computer and they refuse to refund. They said that they can refund when the computer arrived. It's a scam, they just want the 150$ for the service because it is not refundable.

I am really disappointed by my last experience in this store and don’t recommend going there without being advised of the financing scam. I made multiple purchases and the last purchase I got a computer and a tv for my student brother and apparently they dont finance the computer on 24 months but we were never advised of this. We already purchased a dishwasher prior to this and have the fairstone card and we got the 24 months financing of it. However when they sent the request for the financing it was set for 12 months 0 interest ans it expired in November. Us we have paying the card thinking the amount we pay every month is paying the balance however they are charging is more than 30% interest. I was paying a total of 705$ in interest because of their error and the store is refusing to help me and correct their mistake. I will have to take this to the consumer protection. We were never provided with the proper documents or explanation. Please ask for the documents before leaving.

Appliance manager was the least of help we could ever imagine. I’m leaving his name out for his sake. We were told the fridge we wanted was out of stock until September so we went for a more expensive one, only to come back a few days later and be told that it’s been available in store for two weeks now. Ended up coming back three separate times (1st time because the delivery guys didn’t want to bring the fridge up the stairs, 2nd time because there was a huge dent in the side and water filter was broken, 3rd time because they cancelled my delivery in store but failed to tell me why let alone call to advise). The appliance manager told me I should’ve accepted the broken fridge and that they wouldn’t give me any money back for food spoilage. (This is all over a period of three weeks on and off) FINALLY got a fridge and even then it had a dent on the side upon delivery. Otherwise everyone else was lovely. Have fun guys, but please don’t consider buying any appliances here.

NEVER BUYING ANYTHING FRIDGE,STOVE,WASHER,DRYER FROM BEST BUY EVER AGAIN AND STRONG DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM! Bought a brand new 2023 Samsung washer dryer stackable units in store(they did a fantastic job selling the product ok cool) but when we received the washer and dryer ,washer is fine but the dryer is totally destroyed, so we refuse the dryer and we contact customer service, they manage to get a new one delivered to us 25 days later...i book time off to be at home for the 2nd delivery. We received the 2nd one today,AGAIN! TOTALLY DESTROYED (Not even able to keep it and stack it as it isn't even safe... 2500$ later still no dryer! And they offer us a 50$ gift card wich isn't even 0.5% of the total price payed... quick to take money,horrible at delivering the service payed for and poor customer service =Bad business... Go anywhere else but here trust me! Save your self the head ache and bad customer service

Today we went to buy a MacBook, the sales person was unprofessional, after we paid he asked us to go pick up the item from pick up area, although he had the laptop in his hand all the time may be we didn’t take the extended warranty. After waiting over 20min near the waiting area when I went to ask for help to know why is taking so long the same sales person told me “ you didn’t pay to me” I was shocked, then I went to look for someone else who can help us, that employee clearly told me that I did not wait more than 10min, which is not true. They are so unorganized and they always speak in Arabic so loud among themselves front of their clients. Finally after waiting 30min I asked one of manager to help me us and He also started to speaking Arabic to the guy who supposed to help us. I think Best Buy Canada head office team should go to check up on their customers service skills. I would rate them ZEROS for services.

LAZY RUDE MANAGERS/ STAFF WHO DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS Google will not allow me a 0/5 rating so here’s a 1/5. I wanted to return a 49” TV at 4:30pm. DEC 30 2017 The store closes at 5pm. The staff told me they do not accept return at 4:30pm because the line is too long and they want to close at 5. The staff are not understanding that I carried a TV into the store and they insisted I come back another time to return it. The double standard is they will accept purchases and the line was just as long. Here is a simple YES or NO answer to a SIMPLE question. When I asked the manager if they will accept my return the next day, she replied with an elevated ANGRY voice why the hell not. I GOT YELLED AT BY YOUR STAFF FOR NOT WANTING TO CARRY A LARGE TV TWICE. Is there a minimum of HUMAN DECENCY in this store? I rushed to Best Buy in Laval at 4:50pm and they were very accommodating and helped us with the return.

I ordered a Laptop on the 10th of January online. I received a confirmation email and no other email or update afterwords. I waited for 3 days after that I contacted best buy they said something was wrong with my credit card. So I changed the payment method just in case if it was my fault. The same thing again one day wait still nothing and after 6 days they canceled my order without notifying me. I still placed the order again yet with another debit I had still the same thing. I called my bank, credit card company they said nothing was wrong and I believe them because the same time I ordered a phone online with the same card and it worked out fine. After 10 days of tens of calls and getting nowhere I had to cancel the order and order form another company. Altogether the worst service you can imagine. The telephoniste doesn't care about helping the customer at all. They just make excuses.

Horrible. Went for an item listed as in stock online, couldn't find it. Employees were all milling around, chatting, having a good time. When I asked for some help finding this item, I got eye rolls and dirty looks. Finally manage to get someone to help, she rings up the item, tells me there's 4 in stock, she then goes to where I looked for the product (a guitar) and comes back with a completely different product after waiting 10 minutes. All the meanwhile the other employees continued their casual chatting. Awful customer service, awful inventory management. Wasted my time. And on a side note, another store (Laval) listed it as out of stock, yet they were carrying it. Good thing I bought it elsewhere that actually took the time to look for me. I highly don't recommend going into this best buy, just order online if you have to unless you want to waste some time.

after finding a computer that I found acceptable for my requirements made sure to inquire about extended warranty they sold me purposely because it was more expensive the wrong warranty that did not cover my laptop for any accidental damages. However my laptop could have caught fire been dropped in water or completely damaged and it still would not have been covered by any of the warranty that I purchased . The staff there is commission and quota driven, I would advise anybody shopping there to do all of their research about their warranties and other items before they ever made a purchase going there avoid speaking to any sales person whatsoever. there was 15 staff members and three clients in the Best Buy and I still waited over an hour, I would never buy anything from this location ever again, if I could I would give them a negative rating

‌We ordered a refrigerator from Best Buy. The first time, during delivery, I found out that the refrigerator was damaged. After a lot of calls and back and forth, they said that it will take one to two weeks to deliver the new refrigerator to me again. After a week, the refrigerator was supposed to reach me between 7 and 10 o'clock. But it did not arrive. I even talked to the delivery manager and they were supposed to deliver the refrigerator to me by 11. But they did not deliver. Then I had to go to Best Buy with all my busyness and leave this irregularity and irresponsibility to them. And unfortunately they said again that I have to wait another week to give me the product I paid for. What I found out is that Best Buy is a very disorganized, low quality, crooked and thieving place that scams people.

Staffs in the store were nice and helpful but their service centre make everything worse. Once of 2 times, call centre hang up on me. And It seems like most of thier caller has really bad English. I told them I couldn't get my refund after 10 days after I changed my payment module. And she keep told me 'You can make a payment online for your new payment' lol I have no idea how can that answer could be come from my question. Even one lady told me I have to call to my bank for this problem. One of your staff made a mistakr and why do I have to deal with bank now. That's your job. God..... I have pretty long experience in customer service and all of 3 lady I talked on phone..... They are worse then 18 years old girl who just started working in a call centre. So bad.....

Went there to buy a full set of 5 major appliances and got some really nice deals actually. Visited a lot of stores before going to Best Buy but all the other stores didn't have a certain fridge model and the waiting list was a month or more. I was surprised that Best Buy had one in stock so I ordered it right away and set up the delivery. On that same day, grabbed some earbuds for wife and someone just jumped in and offered help. I asked some random questions about the product just for the fun of it and was pleased with the outcome. Few days later I had to call customer service to reschedule the delivery and to my surprise again I was very pleased with the interaction: the request took less than 1 minute to complete. I'll definitely come back here more often now.

I went to the store to purchase a dryer to stack it on top of my washer. I clearly explained to the salesman that i already have a washer. He said no prob you can buy a dryer with the stacking kit. I also paid for the installation. The service and delivery guy arrived with the dryer but said he cannot take responsability of stacking a new dryer on top of an old washing machine, how ridiculous is that! He even wanted me to stack it myself by watching a youtube video! The worse part is that i asked for a full refund one week ago and i still haven't gotten my money back and the dryer is still sitting in my living room! I am out 1350$ and waste of my time and energy. Never buying anything again from bestbuy

A year ago I went to best buy to buy a laptop in this branch, The sales man told me (this is the latest laptop and it is really good) the laptop is ( microsoft surface book 3), it is my first time buying microsoft which I don’t have experience with, now my laptop’s keyboard is broken, I went to best buy for reparation, but they told me that this laptop is very old and there is no way I could find a new keyboard for it! which the sales man who’s told me that it is the latest version a year ago, anyways, I am unable to repair my keyboard and I have an exam on Monday, which I don’t know how I will do it without a keyboard! my advice to bestbuy to train their employees to know what to sell a costumer!

Bought a dishwasher for 1000$ yesterday. Was supposed to receive a call for delivery and installation yesterday. I called today to get an update, but you can’t reach the actual store, you have to call their central number. You end talking to someone whose first language is not English (or French), making communication very difficult; that does not care, and ends up transferring me to the store number that refers you to the website. I wasted 2 hours today and still have no update. If I have to go to the store to get the appointment that they were supposed to call me for, I’m getting a refund. Best Buy, please don’t “answer” this with your garbage generic apology. Just do better

Everything is double priced at this store. But if you catch a discount or liquidation, that is amazinglt cheap. I always buy my electronic devices from best buy only when there is a discount otherwise the price is crazy at this store. I gave it 2 atars because of its discounts and its nice layouts. The majority of their sale reps do not have the required products knowlege. Every time that I ask something about their products, the answer is "mybe" or "I am not sure". If you do not believe your products, how can you sell them? The store locations and store layouts are very good. Products are easily found and visible. The lighting is also good. The product displays are good.

My mother and I went there last Sept. 6 to buy a laptop. As we entered, we looked for the laptop that we decided to buy but unfortunately it wasn't in display, so we asked on one of the salesman. I showed the brand of laptop that I found in their website but as soon as he saw the price (less than 350$) he changed the way he treated us. Then another guy showed up saying like he will take it if we're going to buy it, he's like saying 'take it or leave it'. I felt awful at that time. They treated us like that because of the price of the laptop is cheap FOR THEM. They didn't even say thank you, and both didn't show up after we bought the laptop. so awful.

Recently i ordered a refrigerator from this particular store and asked for delivery. The delivery guys came and just left the new fridge in the middle of my apartment when i told them to please place it and install it and take the old one they just said call us again and we will come back and we will not wait anymore just do it yourself or call us again. The big machine is just lying in the middle of my apartment and they refused to listen to me to take the old one. The worst place to get your major appliances from and worst delivery service. Dont waste your time and money in this store. They are highly unprofessional and useless and dont help at all.

The store was filled with busy shoppers, I was there to purchase a laptop from the many on offer. I had a distinct set of requirements and was spoilt for choice, one of the sales staff peeled out from the herd and approached me, he was well mannered prepared to speak English and very attentive to my needs offering me several alternatives. When we got to the counter to pay he also wound up into a near perfect pitch for after sales services, which if it was not beyond my current means I would have purchased given his excellent attitude and the non-pushy but still essentially forceful sales pitch. Much respect for the effort and the service provided.

Quite disappointed of the experience. The store is fine but the moment you need customer service it falls apart. Some employees don't seem to be well trained. Without going in all the details, I showed up at customer service in store sending me to the Geek Squad, to the Phone sellers, back to the customer service, to the geek squad phone customer service, back to customer service just to not solve my problem because I apparently need to wait. Time is money and I just wasted a couple of hours of my day. That's not okay. FYI the sellers are liars, no matter what they propose do not take a protection plan, the deal is always in their favor.

I think as customers we shouldn't have to repeat ourselves more than thrice otherwise it feels like the other person is either not listening to you or simply not believing you! I got into a shouting match with a sales rep over there who was obviously not actively listening to me then she got angry at me for showing signs of impatience and told me to find another rep to help me, at which point I asked for her supervisor to whom I filed a complaint. These employees need to be better trained, they need to understand that our goal isn't to spend the whole day at their store for we have other things to take care of.

Employees are mostly walking around the store looking at their phones... That guy in the tv department with the short beard, man what a smug @***ole, I 'd fire that guy in a heartbeat. I went in for a pickup. The girl at the counter gave my order to some random employee. After 10 minutes gone ( with my receit), I told the girl to call him that it was taking abnormaly long. She sighed and did it all herself. 1 point for that. Minus 1 point for bouncing the job on someone else. And they close at 7 pm on Thursday... What kind of store closes at 7 on thursday? If it wasn't for parcel theft, I l'd go on Amazon

I had a mixed experience in this place last October. Employees in the TV section were extremely helpful and nice, while the people in the headphones section did not care at all about the problems in their working area. They have samplers that does not match the headphones exhibited and when I pointed out the problem they just blamed the provider. I was trying to test the headphones before buy them, so I preferred to go somewhere else instead of just making a blind purchase. It is understandable that sometimes these problems are out of reach but they should at least try!

Worst place I've been to in my life. Absolutely lazy, rude and untrained staff that seemed to be paid to avoid you like the plague. Nobody never picks up the phone and when once I got through the manager he pretended to put me hold only to disconnect the line. Their "geek squad" that are part of their warranty return and repair service are deplorable at best. They told me, after calling them because the brand new tv I bought was defective, to check with the manufacturer. I paid 400$ for this warranty. Don't ever step foot in this abysmal failure of a retail store.

0 stars! My boyfriends' dad purchase a camera from here but her daughter told him it was not the same camera she wanted so he returned it the next day without even opening it. While returning, they opened it to double check that everything is there which make sense. But they refused to give the tax back which is almost 250$. We called costumer service and even chat with them to have a proof they told us they never heard about it, so my boyfriend have to go back with his dad to get his full refund back. Big companies taking advantage of old people now? Great!

Horrible service. The staff sold us a washing machine and a dryer which did not meet our specifications. We specified repeatedly that we had limited space for our washing machine and dryer but heck, they didn't really care. Moreover, when they delivered the machines they forget stuff which prevented us from installing completely the machines. I honestly was very disapointed and I decided to give everything back for a refund. But that's where the trick is, they picked everything up but I'm still waiting my refund. Decided to buy my machines elsewhere.

If you have no idea about cameras, make sure the model of the lens you are buying. Otherwise the employee will give you suggestions of models and give you one that does not suit your camera since their policy does not let best buy try the lens on store. Therefore you will pay for a lens that does not fit your camera and to get reimbursed you will have to pay a fee of 25$ because it's part of their policy. Better to buy online with amazon.. at least they give 30days for reimbursement instead of waisting my time going to the store. Thank you best buy.

One star is a lot for this store. Shame to have this kind of stores still exist in Canada in 2022. I’ll never purchase from Best Buy and I’ll never let anyone do. The worst customer service I ever had in my life. I used to live in Africa and I really mean that is the worst experience in my life. When you about to buy equipment everything seems awesome once you figure all the hidden fee and plan with some twisted explaining and you ask to correct all the mess the trash employees there they will just keep giving you a runaround. DONT GO THERE PLEASE.

I bought a laptop from there. I was offered a geek squad membership. I asked if I could cancel after 1 month free or charge if I didn't use it. They said yes I could cancel free of charge. Turns out it was all a lie! I contacted Best Buy support and they told me I can't cancel for 12 months. After 12 months I will be charged a fee of 300$ for cancelling. Complete scam. I'm paying 23$ per month (275$ for the year) I was sold a lie. I used to shop there often over the years but they'll never see me back there again or any other best buy location.

We have a defect on a whirlpool washing machine. We bought extended warranty but have not gotten any service from Best Buy. We have been waiting for two weeks to get this fixed! I went to the store to speak with a manager, Vincent Beauchamp. He assured me that he would take care of it first thing Monday morning. When I contacted him again on Monday morning, I found out that he left on vacation for two weeks!! This is unacceptable! Best Buy offers the worst service. Don’t buy from them and certainly never purchase their extended warranty!

This is the worse experience ever buying electros!, I had to return 2 times two different laptops and buy an expensive Insurance because the laptops always had something that doest work property, and recently I bought a Tv Samsung and after 3 months! using it suddenly just stop working, and the funny thing is they don’t offer any warranty by default for the store for TVs they sell the warranty and I didn’t get one… so…after 3 month just doesn’t work anymore??doesn’t make sense for me is the worse store and worse experience

They make you get the Geek Squad plan, but to cancel it you need to go in-store within 30 days. I chatted with them online, and called them up on the phone, but couldn't cancel the plan. That's thrashy customer service. Oh, and if you wait longer than 30 days, "cancelling" the Geek Squad plan means that you will have to pay for the whole year in one shot. My best friend waited for less than 1 month and I tried to help her cancel her plan without a year's worth of fees. But it's impossible. I'm never shopping there again.

My wife and I were at the store about an hour ago to get her computer fixed. She had been scammed by someone who called her to tell her that her computer desperately needed cleaning and virus repair. At one point my wife had to leave and it ended with the scammer locking up her computer. Enough bad stuff. Now the good stuff which is entirely about your store and your staff. They could not possibly have been more helpful and supportive. I will be referring people to you forever. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!

Please stop harassing one of your cashiers by forcing her to serve certain colored clients, she seems to be very welcoming, talkative and energetic for some, and not so much for others. Best Buy has a policy if the amount is written wrong on the panel for a product, they will give you a 10$ discount. I bought an item today and it’s price was wrong and I reported it to the cashier. They just made some stupid reason not to give the discount. BestBuy should not introduce these policy that they don’t agree on. Such a shame. The store manager is also rude. They create these policies to stay in the market but they don’t act on it. DONT GO TO THIS BESTBUY…. Go to some other one

Impossible to have information on my delivery. worst customer service I have seen in a long time. When i bought my appliances, they gave me a delivery date 2 months later saying THAT THEY ALREADY HAD MY PRODUCT. 5 days before delivery, they postponed it for another month. I never could call the store, they never picked up the phone! online chat told me they would send a "call-back request" to the store, which never happened. They got my money, but not yours. make the right choice please.

I had my worse experience in this store. When I ordered my appliance, the sales guy told me the delivery could be done within 1 week. Next day, they told me that I had to wait 2 weeks. When I finally received them, the dry was broken. One level leg was missing for my range (oven). The phone# of this store never works. Really frustrated! I had to go to store again and again to fix the problem! Never buy anything in this store! Just buy online, at least get better service support.

Customer Service sucks at this place. Went in to get an AirTag and was told to go to the front desk, front desk didn’t have any and didn’t even try to help with locating them. Just repeatedly told me “we don’t have them here,” and didn’t offer to call anyone to help or find the product. They completely expected me to just give up and walk out without one. So I had to go find someone else to help locate where the Tags are since apparently no one knows where any of the stock was.

I come here often, but not because I want to. It's only because it's convenient because it's near my work. Frankly, I dislike going there. The staff is not very helpful. I could be standing in a station looking for an item for 20 mins and they simply pass by you like you mean nothing. I guess if we paid them by commission they would care about the customers. Going forward I think I'd rather drive all the way to Laval where you are greeted better and taken a bit more seriously.

Worst service ever! Really makes you hate Best Buy in general.. Nobody is picking up the phone.. it doesn't matter in which extension. So you can't even tell if the product you are looking for is in stock. You drive there and then they say it's isn't in stock and next time you should call. Some of the people there doesn't even speak English.. and some aren't nice as well.. I really don't understand who's in charge on customer service in Best Buy but he is doing a poor job!

I went to get a label printed for a return for a set of headphones for my daughter, and the two girls at customer service were EXTREMELY RUDE and NOT HELPFUL. They sent me over to Geeksquad. They weren't of any help at all. When you work in customer service ..it's exactly that. Then i went to Best buy in Laval and What a big difference..... **Perhaps the team there should train you and teach you about customer service. What a Terrible store! I'm definitely not going back.

I'd give zero if possible. The staff was completely dismissive when asked to honor a discount on a product which is no longer available even though it was impossible for me to know before going in person. The "customer service" staff simply laughed and served the next customer when i insisted in speaking to his manager. What a horrible experience overall. Not surprised they have so many complaints from the Consumer Protection agency. About to add my own complaint asap.

Worst after service ever. geek squad is useless, to repair a washer it takes 2 months! whenever you call to complain, they send you through their phone call mazes and never get you in touch with a supervisor. i have been calling back and forth for once a week for month and none of their phone agent can give me any help or even connect me to a supervisor. A very very bad service. Filed my claim on june 16th and i’m still without a washer. unacceptable

Need a Bluetooth printer which can work without wifi. I have already bought one but it was WiFi and returned it. They do have demo HP 3755 but no more in stock and the staff said will not receive anymore this 3755 type. So I asked him what's the point of having the demo, if next customer coming to the store and wants to buy it. Will you keep saying something ? He said it's not him it's the management. So what is the management doing irresponsable ?

0 customer service ! Employees are either in a corner talking to each other or constantly following you. Despite having an item in stock (4 to be exact) no effort was made to find the product… their solution was to order it online and have it delivered to the store, I will honestly ever visit a Best Buy to view the product in person and then buy it on Amazon. Refunds are another story, they don’t take back open items or they try charging a fee.

Waste of time. No one seems to be interested in serving you. You stroll through the store trying to find anyone to help you out. Then u just google reviews and choose your product yourself. In the end, at the cash they tell you the price isn't right. I went through 4 different earbuds with all 4 price tags being wrong. Seriously Best Buy? Can't figure out your pricing? Long story short, bring your money elsewhere. There are better alternatives

And the sales person forgot to add a particular code and for the same I had to pay $140. Now when I go there and tell them the issue they are straight away avoiding rather providing any solution. If this is the service they are providing then should not run a business. This is purely Unethical.

I am in the TV section with the seller who passes the support for the TV which indicates $ 99 while the price is very good on the display $ 49.95. I ask the seller to enforce the law of price accuracy (-10 $ in this case) He answers me you want I give it to you !! I left without saying anything without taking the support. We are really fish, the seller must know the policy and enforce it without the client request.

Overpriced brick and mortar store, though they do price match. Their inventory is usually limited, so check online if your item is available before showing up. In my case the online inventory was innacurate. Their return policy is sub par though, compared to other stores and they usually give you a hard time when trying to return an item, even within the allowable return window. I would shop elsewhere.

I end up driving back to the store for a reimbursement, because its obviously too difficult to do it by phone... spent another hour over there arguing with the manager to get my money back for an item I was never given. Worst service ever. They came to my place take pictures of my tv without providing any information about it and tell me that they will call me. After a couple hours they called me to say that my was not covered. They are liars, they will tell you everything to make sure you buy their insurance and when you have a problem, they will not help. Be careful about this scam people.

I just want to share my experience at best buy . I must say Hugo in electronics in the center was there to answer all my questions and needs. Hugo was exceptional in his customer service and I would highly recommend anyone to ask for him he was the most helpful out of everyone I asked for help during my time there. Good job best buy !! I call them after 2 week they send the technician..... now It's been a 2 month passed and my machine steel doesn't fix yet.This is the worst service I have ever seen...so don't buy products from them.Very bad place to buy home appliances.

The girl who signs the clients invoices before they leave the store is exceptional. She is very nice, helpful and very professional. She is the first person we see when entering the store as well as the last person when leaving Best Buy so her role is important and she is very good at it. Just a high five to good client service that does not go unnoticed. :)

Best Buy is a staple brick and mortar that offers a reasonably wide range of products at competitive prices. People unsatisfied with service seem to be completely unaware how BB works. Best suited for customers that already know what they want or know how to Google. Employees here are best suited to point you toward the bathroom or cash you out.

We purchased a tv which was unfortunately busted up when we opened it up at home. I called the store and spoke to the tv dept manager and he’s arranging for a new tv to be delivered to us and the geek squad team will pick up the old one. That is excellent customer service. The Geek Squad membership is worth the $ for great service and perks.

When you manage to get staff they are unhelpful and will not respect the legal warranty. I've been in long line ups for the cash at this store watching the manager joke around with CSRs at customer service. Only after I raised my voice did they feel the need to send 1 more cashier to waddle over leisurely to open a second register.

Good store! Has a very nice layout of different sections and presented well (big and spacious). Always worth trying to find the items online first for the "reserve and collect" feature, since sometimes you get a better price online than directly in store, and this way you only pay for the item when you go and pick it up anyway.

You're Canadian Best Buy store ... What else is there to say? The employees are helpful, no one was rude to us, there's an underground parking for those winter days or hot summer ones. They have decent prices and reliable tech Gear. And if you find a lower price (bring proof) they will reduce their prices to match it.

45 employees standing around doing nothing and i was one of the only few customers in the store and still had to wait 5 minutes at the pick up desk. Every time I shop there,There is a dozen employees. Standing around doing nothing taking turns harassing if they can help. Terrible service.

They seem to have redecorated the whole store and it looks amazing now! Staff is usually courteous minus the constant push for a protection plan but that's how they survive. Stock seems always plentiful, they sometimes don't have what I want but it's rare.
