The variety!!! Absolutely love getting cupcakes from Beyond the Batter. There are so many flavours to choose from on any given day. I've called in ahead of time to order a dozen, and I've gone in person to the shop to pick and choose from what's on display. They have rotating flavours, so make sure to check out their social media account or their website to see what flavours are on for the week. Their cupcakes are moist and not too sweet. The icing is a little on the sweet side, but that's what cupcakes are - dessert! They do have vegan an gluten-free cupcake options as well, though the flavour selection isn't as great. I have yet to try their other selection of sweets: cheesecake in a jar, sandwich cookies, brownies, etc. I look forward to trying these soon! It does get quite busy at the storefront, so be patient. The staff are very patient and friendly to help you make your selections and boxing, which is something I appreciate very much, especially when I have to make so many choices!

I can't speak on the quality of the product at the stoney creek location but for the 60 seconds I was In the shop, I felt like I was intruding and annoying then lady working there. I asked if theres some birthday cake or cupcake options, she said no not if I didn't book one 3 weeks in advance. I told her just looking for 6 to 8 cup cakes for my sons bday, maybe say happy bday on a disk of chocolate on top of the cup cakes, again seeming very annoyed she responded with she has 1 baker, there not here and no icing to do this. This was all in about of 1 minuite of being there. Normally, smaller business's want their community support and will a more consultative approach to help a customer with their needs but not here. I simply went to sobeys, asked the same thing, put together 8 cup cakes , added a meringue disk, wrote happy bday and I was off. Easy anf friendly process, but not here!

I ordered cupcakes from this place since it was the closest peanut free location as I was hosting a out of town birthday party for my daughter. When I came to pick up the cupcakes the lady was rude because I had shown up a little later from my original pick up time which really wasn’t necessary. I brought these cupcakes back to the party and the cupcakes were nothing special. They were dry and not as moist as some of the reviews had stated and when they packaged my 18 cupcakes they had separated it into 3 different boxes in 3 different sizes and the smallest clearly couldn’t fit the cupcakes properly making the tops of the cupcakes not as aesthetically pleasing. If I was in town again I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to support them given that my experience as a whole wasn’t as what the reviews had said.

Love this place! We went here in December and I forgot to post a review. I’ve been thinking about these cupcakes recently so it reminded me. Very very good quality cupcakes. They are fresh and taste amazing. The Hershey’s one that I had here in the picture was my favourite. The icing is good and not overwhelming like icing usually is. The cake part was moist and fresh. The price is pretty good here too, less expensive than most bakeries and it is worth it. The cupcakes were also presented really nicely as you can see in the pictures. Friendly owners and nice store inside. They care about their customers! 10/10 I will be back soon. :)

Really awesome tasting cupcakes, well worth the price and size. Super moist cake and tastes great days later. I put mine in the fridge and warmed it in the microwave. It was hard not to buy more as there are always so many great flavours to choose from. The icing is a generous portion but too sweet for me. I tried va va vanilla, carrot cake and red velvet. Easy to order during this pandemic, just go to the door open it and pick your flavours. Will definitely be back to try more flavours.

We ordered specific cupcakes for my daughters birthday party, with having allergies for multiple children and knowing the dairy free option. I requested an ingredients list, however I was told it would not be available. The bakery was able to guarantee over the phone that it was dairy free, but no proof for the parents. The cupcakes weren’t able to be eaten by the children that they were intended for because of the severe allergies and lack of proof.

Seriously the best! It is so difficult to decide as the choices were plentiful. The employee and I spoke about the difficulty in deciding as well as shared our affinity for butter tarts (newest bakery item is a butter tart square). She also shared that the owner's Mom made some bourbon brownies a few weeks back. Needless to say, it makes choosing that much more difficult. Kids loved the rainbow cupcakes and the Men are from Mars were fantastic!

I called beyond the batter to order cupcakes made into the shape of a number. Ie attach them to form a number 40. I gave one week notice and I was told I needed to give 3 weeks notice. Really!!! To buy cupcakes from a cupcake place? I would have needed 10 cupcakes or more if required but they were not willing to do this. That will be my last time going there. I wanted them for a Thursday which is not even peak time

It’s a nice little shop that can provide large orders with notice. We purchased 6 for $18 which I think is fair but borderline. The packaging kept them safe for travel and fresh. The flavors were very good with creative names and each one was fantastic tasting. They are very sweet, but they are cupcakes so they should be. Personal favorite was ‘men are from Mars’ (bottom right) and I will absolutely be back.

This store is always closed at times they're supposed to be open. I have visited this place three times, never able to buy any cupcakes because it's never open. Update: Monday, Nov 1st. Please change the store hours on Google because they do not match with what you say on your response. It's prone to confusion. I was there again today following Google information. You have to update. Thanks.

Cupcakes! Went in to get cupcakes for a customer's birthday party and the reviews we got was awesome. Now if I need to admit it, yes I ordered an extra one to make sure the quality was over the top. There is a price tag with these little beautifies but you get what you pay for! Enjoy. Thumbs up!

Used to come here often for a treat while I'm traveling to Hamilton for work. Absolutely LOVE their cupcakes: a great size with superb quality to match! Their flavours are unique, cake is moist with very delicious buttercream. I will be heading back to Hamilton for more :)

First time visiting Beyond The Batter Bakery. Exceptional customer service, wide variety of cupcake flavours to choose from; I bought 1 dozen assorted. The cupcakes are delicious with the proper cake to icing ratio. 100% recommend and will return in the future.

These are absolutely the best cupcakes I have ever had! So many scrumptious flavours to choose from. I love the pumpkin spice cupcakes! We ordered some cupcakes for my sister’s baby shower and everyone loved them! I will be definitely getting more cupcakes!

Been here several times in the past couple of years, always welcomed with friendly service. The cupcakes are always delicious, and the themed cupcakes are always on point with the current holiday. The gluten free cupcakes are also really good!

Stopped in to check out the Brantford location and was not disappointed! Very clean, tidy, neat and the selection of cupcakes-wow! Such a variety and they taste amazing! We will definitely be back for more!

The best treats in town. The best deal is for a half dozen which makes each one $3.00. They never disappoint! Plus they have long hours during the week (prior to covid).
