Big Yellow are fine so long as you don't have to deal with their administration! For an actual storage facility they do what you might expect, however I have three occasions to interact with their management and although the final resolution was satisfactory the reasons for having to deal with Big Yellow were disappointing. 1. They won't accept any other insurance but their own, which isn't the cheapest. After negotiation they agreed to match the price of a third party insurer which is OK but still seems like a racket. 2. They raise their prices annually and steeply - mine have gone up by over 46% in four years. 3. They recently requested to move my stored items to another room (to allow for modernisation) but gave only 7 days notice via an email with a non-urgent subject! If I hadn't responded they would have cut the padlock off my room and moved everything of mine themselves - which in the end, due to short notice, is exactly what happened. Except the repack hasn't been done with care and the new room has a smaller volume due to supporting girders inside! Once again I have reason to complain. Honestly storage is supposed to be stress free but Big Yellow seem to go out of their way to make it an infrequent hassle....

It was my first time using The Yellow Box storage service. My friend has recommended me as they have many locations in London and it's easy to choose the best for you. I've chosen Big Yellow Wandsworth as it was more convenient for me. The team is amazing they helped me with all the questions and decisions form choosing the size, prices and explained the system about insurance and how it works. On the stuff move-in day, everything was introduced clearly and the receptionist was very helpful, she answered all the questions, helped to choose the lock and explained everything to me to make sure I know how to place the code and etc. I'm so glad that I have chosen to store my items with the Yellow Box as it's also easy to take anything any time and the notice to collect them items back is only a week, so it's easy to organize yourself. Thank you Wandsworth team for being so helpful.

I have been owing this review since June 2019. Manager Lauren showed much good will and offered a deal I was very pleased with and ever since then I kept recommending this place to others. My moving was a bit stressful because of my demanding work and my other pressing commitments. I was running late past the closing time to get my belongings in and Alfie waited for me most kindly and completely beyond the call of his duty. He really saved my day and I could not have been more grateful. Shane was further point of contact and assistance and provided excellent customer service on every occasion. I keep visiting the place once in the while and truly feel that my things are in good hands and safe. Huge thanks to everyone there! You are all amazing people and make the the world a better place.

I would like to share my positive experience i had at the Wandsworth Site. I required a very large storage and needed last minute consultation on the best available options. Andrew showed me multiple storage options even through it was pretty late in the day. Once we agreed on the most suitable storage, Sylvia was brilliant at applying the best pricing for my requirements. Both showed a high level of appreciation of me being a customer. Sylvia even went a step further and facilitated a late access for me circa 1 week after i signed up. These two a really great at what they do. 10/10

I had a really great experience with Humma Khan (and her colleague, Sylvia!) this morning - she was incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. Humma took one look at my inventory and knew I could do with a smaller (and cheaper) room. She also took me round and showed me three different sized rooms so I could see the space and showed me how to use the (several) keypads to get in during out of hours. I couldn’t have asked for better customer service if I’m honest. Having never used Yellow Storage before, it was such an easy process - would definitely recommend this branch to anyone!

Big yellow storage Wandsworth Were great. The whole process was incredibly easy, the facilities were great and the staff are lovely. Shawn provided me with information and an accurate quote when I called to book last minute. He also assured me on the best way to check out as I was staying less then a week. I had previously made arrangements with another storage facility and was unhappy with the staff. Shawn's confidence and clarity was really helpful. They check out process as very easy and my deposit was refunded in a timely manner. Overall 5 star service. So impressed!

Excellent service and infrastructure in the sense of security, location and organising. Customer service is really good as well, from the quotation until the last minute. The only “issue” I had was the mandatory in person attendance to sign papers and original ID presentation before loading the room. I do understand the security concerns, but this is a big hassle specially as it’s required to be done before the arrival of your items or at the same time, otherwise they can’t access the room (Moving companies has to stay in hold, costing more to the final client).

So I know front of house are required / expected to be friendly but these guys take it to another level. Shane, Alfie, Lauren and Anna (sorry if I got any names wrong) are super friendly, extremely knowledgeable, quick and just so helpful. Today they went above and beyond to help me with my purchases and delivery (thank you so much Shane). I know if I am ever looking to purchase/rent space from a self storage company again , Big Yellow will be my first port of call. Thanks Again .

Shane was incredibly helpful, friendly and professional - our move-in was as smooth as it possibly could be thanks to the amazing customer service. The whole team at the Wandsworth storage were very considerate, kind and understanding. We were provided with the out of hours access for free as we were running a bit late after a stressful day of packing and moving. We eventually had enough time to do everything we needed. Had such a good experience here! The whole team is absolutely fantastic and helped with all my queries (I swear I called them like 50 times ) - they even recommended a removals company known to them who collected all my stuff and put it in my locker for me which made my move so so much easier! The whole facility is clean and secure and completely hassle free. I'll definitely be back if I ever need more storage, would 100% recommend :)

I'm super happy with the service from the Big Yellow Self Storage at Wandsworth. The booking process online was super simple. Sylwia called me right after to see if I had any questions. On the day the process was very straight forward as well. Had trolleys available at the door to move my things. Sylwia showed me an even better storage option than the one I had selected and everything was sorted very quickly. Definitely recommend it!

Had a bad experience. Got hit with a bunch of charges on leaving taken from my deposit. One was apparently security call out that could not be explained to me by any member of staff. Secondly was a penalty for not giving 7 day notification of departure date. The staff were notified in advance by phone, this was not documented and I was charged an additional week. I had a bad experience, I personally cannot recommend them.

Impeccable service! The staff is great and always happy to help. A great thanks to Lisa who answered all our queries promptly and helped us out throughout the all process. We couldn’t fit our dinning table through the door of our storage room and we were immediately given a room with a wider door so we could fit our table. We are really impressed! The guys (Alfie & Shane) at Big Yellow Wandsworth we’re so kind and helpful, I couldn’t be happier! When my removal van was delayed by over an hour, they cheerfully chatted, let me charge my phone, guided me to a cafe and offered me tea and coffee, turning what could have been a very annoying and miserable afternoon into a delight! Very happy with the storage as well, but service was outstanding!

I’ve just rented a storage unit for an amazing price offered. The customer service was brilliant, from online quote, through to follow up calls explaining the process and terms and conditions thoroughly. The check in process was easy enough both online and in person, Leon at the Wandsworth branch was really helpful and friendly and super professional. Looking forward to moving my stuff in!

I came to buy some boxes this weekend and the service I have recieved from Sylwia was outstanding. She not only advised what box to buy to shipped a parcel abraod but gave me tips on what else to buy like a shrink wrap to protect the box during transit. She mention she was using Big Yellow boxes herself to send parcels to and from Poland which gave me reassurance that boxes are well made.

Great experience, easy to use, just pay and come and go as you please, all very friendly staff. NICOLA was a great help today when moving out, we got our deposit back and refund of the remaining days left of the month that we didn’t use the storage room and everything was very straight forward, no hassle. I will recommend usin Big Yellow in the future. 10/10
