I saw dr Imran for the first time and was appalled by how I was treated. I am new to Tasmania and I do have several medical issues both physical and mental. I saw him with all the documentation required and extensive list of my past medical history and just on that information he decided he did not want me for a new patient as I was ‘ bound to betray his trust’. I offered for him to speak with my GP from QLD ( 15 year history) and he declined saying my doctor was probably happy to be rid of me. Words cannot describe my humiliation, the lack of kindness and empathy I received from a man who does not know me at all but made up his mind that I was just to be discarded and made to feel less than. Maybe if I’d turned up with a headache….. the man should sacked.

I have been seeing Dr Imran Ullah for a while, I found him very responsible and good manner to his patients like myself, also very knowledgeable for his profession. I have been concerned about medical centre abolishing the bulk billing , instead I have to pay the consultation fees since then, so I am trying not to make visits to the doctor even when I felt not so well. Dr Imran was very kind to guide me through and asked me not to too worry about the charges. On my recent visit to Dr Imran, he was kind enough to offer me discount, which my wife and I are deeply touched. We are retired old couple, we appreciate good doctor’s service, yet we have to manage ever increasing living costs with limited income.

worst gp ever seen. Imran can neither write my name or address correctly in the prescription. Imran always miss the appointment time and normally kept me waiting for over half an hour. So what is the point of making an appointment? My gp just didn’t bother to discuss or elaborate anything with me. I have to constantly ask question to get an idea what implication does my symptom refer to. After being referred to do a bunch of test with the specialist. GP Imran said he does not believe that I need to be treated?

Dr Sujata Trivedi is the best GP I've been to. She is always holistic and offers a great mix of Eastern and Western treatments. This is a very busy clinic but she always tries to squeeze her regular patients in. For new patients it takes a while to get in, so worth booking in early, to get on the books. She does run late but it is because she doesn't rush patients through. I just avoid booking appointments afterwards which is easy. Thank you for your treatment and time.

Today I missed Dr. Lad After his passed away place became just money making place and today they compair their self with Coles and woolworths that's same. Doesn't matter if someone here is kind of your family doctor. Now they don't care as they use yo when dr.lad was alive. Sad truth they don't care anymore about you . If someone read this comment then share any good doctor name who cares patients like Dr lad use to.

The receptionist was extremely rude and put the phone down in my ear when I asked her a question (Where would I be able to get an appointment since no doctor seems to be taking new patients?). I want to assume that the doctor is great; I guess I will never know because I don't want to be treated like that by someone that is suppose to care and help the public.

I am a retired senior with a number of health issues. Having a good GP is like having a good carer. A good GP needs to understand his patient holistically and treat the whole person, both the body and the mind. Dr Imran does precisely that. He is methodological and meticulous in his assessments. He is also friendly and humble.

Dr. Imran only cares about money not patients. Dr. Sujata who is more caring than Imran but after wasting two months trying to get my infected toe cured and being recommended to another doctor, I would like to say if you can’t do the job, go home! If you do this job just for money, shame on you, you don’t deserve my respect

Dr lmran Ullah has recently become our regular GP. We have found him approachable, thorough and caring. His expertise is an asset to the Dr Lad's Surgery which serves the Blackmans Bay Community with great dedication
