LOVE this place. Until August of 2021, I'd only ordered online. Anytime they didn't have a book I was looking for, their request a book option worked like magic! I'd get a nearly immediate response that acknowledged my request, and most of the time, the book was available for me to order within 24 hours. I'm so glad KC has a local, black-owned bookstore that we can support! Their pop-ups are fun....finally got to meet the owners at book fair at KC Wineworks in August 2021, and I cannot wait for them to have their own shop I can walk into and enjoy! Thank you for being amazing and having amazing customer service!

Bliss Books & Wine is a cute, comfy, quiet little spot! The perfect place to catch up with a friend over a glass of wine or gather with your book club to discuss your latest read. I enjoyed the atmosphere and service and definitely want to go back! They have private rooms your book club can rent or just gather in the main space. Tip: you can park for free in the garage next to the store (it's not marked real well but I confirmed it was ok!)

After hearing that this bookstore made Oprah Winfrey’s book list, I had to check it out! Thus, I was able to attend one of the Bliss Books and Wine pop-up shops over the past weekend. The owners were so friendly, and asked about my specific needs. As a result, I was able to purchase two books. I will definitely be back and support this company. I noticed they also sell other products. I smelled a candle that was amazing!

We had a great time at our sister/niece gathering on a recent Sunday afternoon. Beautiful store, comfortable environment, various wine including non-alcoholic options. I had the local KC Wine Co. Chardonnay, which was lovely and not too sweet! The customer service was excellent, too. Decent selection of adult fiction, non-fiction and kids books. Cool local artwork to top it off! We'll be back...

Bliss Books has wonderful events and is very supportive of local authors in Kansas City. In regards to the one negative review stating they “do not exist” it sadly shows that the reviewer obviously did not research this online bookstore or their events. I absolutely cannot wait until the permanent brick and mortar exists based on the high quality of other Bliss Books and Wine events ✨

Love coming to Bliss during the week to answer some emails and sip on some wine! I'm really looking forward to using some of the other spaces in the future, especially the podcast studio. The owners are so welcoming and knowledgeable about the books they sell and are always willing to track something down that they don't have in stock.

The book selection was small but amazing. I loved the popular and represented books. It even had middle grade books to buy! The environment was incredible. It's classy and cozy at the same time. It makes you want to grab a glass of wine and read for hours! The owner was sweet and very helpful!

I tried to find this bookstore. It doesn't exist. Hard to visit a "relaxing environment for indulgence in literature, the arts and wine sampling" when there is no store!

Loving this Unique pop up experience! Relaxed atmosphere, plenty of wine pairings, great discussion with local authors. Love This!!!
