Seeing that my Dr cares so much about google reviews i'm sure he will be pleased to hear how frustrated I am with his reception staff AGAIN!!! Why not ask your staff to communicate with patients so important appointments for CT scans can be made within the city I live in and not out of the city in Leduc. By communicating with the patient to make such an important appointment, you would think staff would ask if I am able to get to Leduc for this appointment they made without my knowledge, which I can NOT because I do NOT drive. Reception couldnt figure out who made the appointment out of town, let alone did they know how to make an appointment in the city I live in. I phoned and cancelled in Leduc and got my own appointment in Edmonton. I really dont think the staff is getting any better here since communication clearly isnt one of their strong points let alone answering phones to discuss important information pertaining to ones health by following up with appointments the staff made originally by saying they would "call to let me know" which they did NOT and went ahead to book without me in a city I do NOT live in or have access to. If you plan on phoning to discuss anything prepare to be on hold for over 20 minutes at any given time. There is no schedule yet for my doctor to book future appointments and wait times are over 3 hours for "walk ins" just to see him. ************************************* Since I cant write another review I will add to my old review. It would be helpful if the staff knew of when my Doctor would be back from holidays seeing that I need him to follow up my blood work and medicine I NEED to live. The staff who answered the phone was rude and sounded fed up having to explain to me they do NOT have a schedule for my dr let alone know when he will return. I phoned last week and was told to "try back in the beginning of August" and it was already the beginning of the month. I tried back again today and still no answers as to when he will return. I could follow up with his replacement dr but they do not know the health problems i've been having the last 2 years trying to follow up with the same dr that clearly doesnt care about his patients enough to tell his own staff when he will return. I will be looking for a new clinic with a competent, professional, and polite staff that understands customer service is a part of their job and that patients deserve to be treated with care and respect instead of being RUDE while trying to make a non existent appointment i've been trying to make over a week now. I would NOT recommend people to go here unless you want to be treated rudely and unprofessional by staff over the phone and in person. Also my doctor doesnt seem to care enough to let his staff know when he will return let alone know when to book his schedule for. UNPROFESSIONAL and i'm sick of the repeated poor treatment from this clinic!!! ************************************* Below is my older review I will not delete even though my Dr asked if I would: I dont think I will get $200 for a specialist cancellation and no show fee. I've been waiting over an hour to see a specialist that ive already waited months to book and see. Why bother making appointments that the staff and doctors cant communicate about? EVERY time I come to see my regular doctor with a scheduled booked appointment its the same thing that the doctors dont even know im here because im not "checked in" Best to at least double check with different reception staff to see if you have been checked in. According to my specialist he waited until 10 after 1pm and seen that I was NOT checked in and thats why I had to wait OVER an hour for him passed my scheduled appointment. Front reception need to stop chatting amongest eachother and pay attention to patients to actually check them in for their scheduled appointments!!!

DO NOT GO HERE. I have been angry at this place for a week. First off when I called to see about walk ins or make an appointment the lady was very rude and blunt. Did not ask me, or give me the chance to book an appointment. Even when I went in person it was the same thing. I had an eye problem that was bothering me for days, I got fed up and decided to go to this place. Which looks sketchy to begin with. Do not get me started on how much that place needs to be visually renovated. I was the third person to come in right when they opened. When they put me in a room to wait for the doctor I was waiting so long the lights turned off. After two hours I asked when I would be seen. And I still had two people ahead of me. Which I’ve had been a walk in at many other clinics and didn’t have to wait this long. By the time the doctor showed up he checked my eye and then immediately sent me to the optometrist in the clinic. Did not even tell them the issue with my eye. They took me in and started giving me an eye exam, and saying I needed new glasses. My glasses are probably a year old not even. During this eye exam he they saw the problem with my eye said “that’s normal” and continued. As they tried to get my new glasses ready that I didn’t ask for, I asked the other doctor in the room what I do about my eye. They said “oh yeah, let me ask”. The optometrist said they wouldn’t fix it this time but the next visit. When I asked why they ignored me. They then proceeded to bring me into the next room to pick frames for my “new glasses”. All the frames were loose in sketchy looking boxes with no price tags. At this point I’ve missed five hours of my work day, I’m frustrated, confused, and no one has done anything about my initial problem. After they are showing me a bill for 400$ saying they also want to do more tests on my eye for EVERYTHING ELSE but my initial problem. Which they won’t even address. After I left that clinic I was so angry I did not want to go back. When I called to cancel my appointments and any other glasses they were trying to make, they canceled the glasses but not the other appointment. Even if I was having an emergency I would not go to this place. This place is a scam, and just trying to ring you out of money. Only giving it a star because I have to so I can post a review.

Be patient, this is a very, very busy clinic. They WILL accommodate you; be patient. I have found all of the doctors to be very, very knowledgeable- specialists included. They 'know their medicine'. They will send you for help with a medical issue. I never asked, the doctors initiated. They have helped me resolve so many medical problems that I was leaving untreated... I feel better and have more control over my health/ body because of their follow through. From dermatological to gynaecological to respiratory... to regulating BP, to insisting that I have a thorough physical. Because I had left a problem untreated it took a full year for my body to heal/ correct itself. It was because of the doctor listening and insisting I go to a specialist that my health is so, so much better. It takes time, follow through and patience. Keep your appointments. If they say come back in 3 weeks come back. Write your questions down and ask them. I was confused about how to use my prescription.I booked an appointment and took it in showed it to the doc and she explained it perfectly. Did as she said and it worked beautifully. You have to keep going back for checkups and appointments because things can't be fixed in 1 or 2 appointments. All family GP's are 'spot on'; Triffis, Soriady, Bulk... They are all very thorough and will send you to a specialist to investigate the problem and get it resolved. You must do your part/ follow doctors orders... worth your while... very good clinic- good doctors. Busy, busy place...5

I see a lot of reviews here suggesting that the front desk staff are rude. That hasn't been my experience at all. They may be stoic at times, but I've never witnessed them being rude. If they're on the phone, that's because that's they're job, to answer phones and book appointments. They work hard, and I want to show my appreciation for what they do here, since it seems to be such thankless work. I've had good experiences with Dr. Swaih. He's been helping me to figure out some of my health issues, particularly with my spleen and my blood pressure. He has been extremely helpful in that regard, and kind as well. Thank you. EDIT: I'm updating this review to talk about the clinic's eye care service. Oddly absent from the clinic's web page, they have an optometrist on site, and after my medical appointment yesterday, I decided to get an eye exam, since they offer walk-ins, and I've been putting off getting new glasses for far too long. Anyway, their service was fantastic! Dr. Gary King is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and he will put quality of care, and the health of your eyes, above all else. He and his assistants Amanda and Rachid were very friendly, and generous, giving me a fantastic rate for the eye exam and glasses. Amanda also seems to have a good eye for what specs will look good on you - the very first pair we tried was the best, and although we tried a few others, we went back to that first pair. I had an excellent experience with Dr. King at the Bonnie Doon clinic, I would absolutely recommend.

I am only giving one star because there is no option to give zero. The first few times I went to this clinic, it wasn't too bad. The reception was nice, and the doctor I saw was helpful... Somewhere down the line, however, they must have switched doctors and receptionists. Every time I call to make an appointment, I get an incredibly rude, and pushy receptionist, who never fully listens to what I am saying making me constantly repeat myself. My next problem with this clinic is a couple of the doctors who have their practice here. The first doctor is Dr. Chris. I went in to see him for a relatively easy problem. He diagnosed me some medication after seeing me for probably 5 minutes. I left, picked up the medication and began taking it... Now what I didn't know, was that this medication has some pretty serious side effects. After 12 days of terrible things happening with my body following the medication, I went to seek a second opinion at another office. I was immediately told what was going on, and was told that it was extremely wrong of Dr. Chris not to have told me such small, but detrimental information. It took me 2 months to recover from the problems that this medication had given me. DO NOT REQUEST DR CHRIS BY ANY MEANS!! If you can avoid him at any cost, I would absolutely do so. There are more problems that he had caused with my family. Needless to say, we are writing a formal complaint to AB Health Services, regarding this clinic and the doctors that practice here.

ZERO STAR RATING!! —This office is the worst for respecting your time and more importantly is highly unprofessional. This morning I had a 9:30am appointment with a specialist and he did not arrive until 10:30am! Once he arrived, the doctor told me he did not sleep well last night; that he woke up and then couldn’t go back to sleep and ended up sleeping in. I booked the 9:30 appointment knowing from previous appointments that he is ALWAYS late and that I would hopefully be seen on time as 9:30 is his first patient booking. He then tried to talk me out of the procedure I’d been waiting to get for a month. Several more things were awful during the procedure: The assistant didn’t have all the required surgical supplies and left the room constantly with her gloves on. I asked for topical gel prior to freezing and they reported to not have any; they then proceeded to anesthesize me without it which was painful. There were flys in the room during the procedure. The doctor requested my consent to take photos on his personal I-phone of the procedure. He claims the clinic camera does not work properly in the room. There were no care instructions provided after the procedure, I had to ask twice about precautions for healing. Overall today’s visit was horrific and I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. Poor professional boundaries, unexceptable patient care, disregard for patients time, and unhygienic. Avoid at all costs

This clinic is the worst in Canada that I went to. Front reception is the first bad start. For one thing they don't even know how to take blood pressure. Maybe they do not care! False reading of Systolic 80 over Diastolic 50 is not strange to them or to the Doctor. Next bad experience is the doctors. Doctors do not talk. One doctor I saw 2 times was just fixated looking at the monitor and typing things and did not look at me once. I was wondering if he knew anything! I got shockingly wrong diagnosis opinions to the 2 problems I was explaining. I went back for the second time to discuss result of blood work and the x-rays; doctor's head still down just said all good and then got up and opened the door saying a long OKay and walked out well ahead of me to see next patient. Some things I wanted to know but left unexplained or incorrectly explained. I did not fill one of the medications doctor had prescribed. I was familiar with one of the medications and I knew he should not have started with such a strong one. Third stop the pharmacy disappointing as well: I have two private insurances that have always covered 100% for me but not in this pharmacy, they wanted some payments. As I was walking out thinking what a waste of my time and tax payer dollars. System has been excellent in masking which Dr. is good who is mediocre and which one is simply clueless.

Came here for a walk in appointment. They told me it was “about an hour” wait. It’s been over an hour and I still haven’t seen anyone. While waiting a mother came in (after 3 pm which is apparently when they cut off walk ins) The mother asked if it was possible to get her daughter in who had a terrible earache & it has been there for a couple days. She expressed all she needed was a prescription for an antibiotic for her CHILD. The mother was denied and told that it was just not possible as the walk ins were done. She was told to go to ellerslie medi centre (25 min drive) The mother then just politely asked again if there was any way she could just bring her here now as she’s already been denied at a few other medi centres in the area- and just wanted her daughter to not be in any more pain for another night. Again she was denied, given no empathy and had left. Later on an old man who did not speak much English came in for a walk in. They told him it wasn’t possible. And due to not being able to understand each other they just allowed him to sit & wait to see a doctor. I am honestly disgusted to see this behaviour. I couldn’t believe they would turn certain people away but let others in… keep in mind this mother came in around 3:10 pm. And the man came way later about 3:30 pm.. i don’t understand how this is acceptable in any way.

I waited an hour passed my scheduled appointment because the front desk girl did not notify the doctor that I had arrived. She took my health care number and I confirmed my name with her before my scheduled appointment time (I was 5-10 min early). I get up half an hour later wondering why I hadn't been called up yet. The other desk girl responds that I haven't been changed to arrived in the system. I am taking the medical office program, and my instructors would have a heart attack if I messed up that badly. Heads are going to roll. I told the office staff when I booked that it was for prescription refill, I tell them the same thing when I check in. Because they screwed up in not changing my status to arrived, I was seen at closing. The pharmacy attached to the center closed as I walked out of the exam room. I could not get my birth control or my antidepressants when I need them. Due to my unusual billing with Inuit health benefits, I can't go to another pharmacy easily and the billing is strict and only allows me to get new prescriptions when I am nearly out. Now I am at risk of getting pregnant if a condom breaks since I had to start my BC late. Avoid this place if you want prompt service or any service at all.

I have been with this clinic since they opened the watt common clinic and they are terrible I had three specialist appointment cancelled within three hours of the appointment and when I talked with reception they talked to me like I was stupid for not asking why the appointment were cancelled and didn’t give me an answer. I actually took time off work for one of these appointments. But when I missed an appointment that I did not even know existed they charged me 100$ and told me I could not see a doctor at the clinic until it was paid. I am actually sitting in the waiting room right now waiting for my wife to finish her appointment with a specialist it’s almost 6pm and her appointment was 4pm. I went and ask how much longer she would be and the answer, a shoulder shrug and “umm I dooont know”. Disgusting how they treat people here! This is also the clinic associated with the watt common clinic off ellerslie road that just suddenly closed with no explanation. Unless you have no other option avoid this place at all cost. The worst part of it all is the doctors there are some of the best doctors I have ever dealt with but dealing with the administrative people Is almost impossible!

This place is 100% a joke! I had to call them a week after my MRI to find out if they had my results. The reception staff made it sound dire that I needed to be in there that night to get them however I told her I could come the next day. I arrived early and checked in; as per usual, they demanded my blood pressure. I asked how far behind the doctor was running and she said very but wouldn't tell me anything else. They refused to release my MRI results to anyone else and told me that walk in patients are their priority, not people with appointments. I asked about the second doctor on staff that day since Dr. Chris was "so busy" and they said they had no clue as that doctor did not bother to show up! 30 minutes passed my appointment time, 6 people ahead of me and they put me in a room to wait for the doctor thinking this will placate the situation. Avoid this place at ALL costs. It's a waste of time and Dr. Chris just likes to go prescription happy. Rarely knows what a patient wants and heavily relies on Google to assist him in his appointments.

Came in as a walk in patient Waited 3hrs to be the last one taken in. Was called back to get results, they tried to schedule me for 10 days later. Or told me if I want results sooner I can come in as a walk in. I agreed and she told me the time the Dr started. I arrived 10 mins before his start time. I wait for 1hr before asking the receptionist an approximate wait time. She said there were 2 patients before me, 4 patients in the room and a total of 7 waiting for the Dr. She wouldn’t give me an estimate wait time and when I tried to further understand my spot on the check in list the receptionist became irritable and agitated with my inquiry and didn’t give me any idea when I’ll see the dr. This prevents me from planning my schedule accordingly and notify anyone if I am going to be late to my place of employment. Other patients were given the option to leave and receive a call when the Dr was ready. During my visit both times this option was not given to me and I think it is inconsiderate.

The staff here is unknowledgeable. They're lazy. They have a hard time talking in complete sentences. They will try to get you to fax your own paperwork and that it's their job. Some of the doctors there are late for shift and often leave early.... They have even canceled my appointments last minute. As in 10 minutes beforehand..... They have also given me referrals to doctors I'm already seeing and without my knowledge. Doctor kondy refused to fill out paperwork for my benefits for a prescription he wrote me. That's just egregious! I will be filing a complaint Don't get me wrong there are some excellent staff that work here as well. But half of the staff and doctors are unacceptable! You can call in and talk to somebody that is knowledgeable, go in 2 hours later and have an incompetent staffer tell you something completely different and try and turn you away ... Make sure you make a complaint to the CPSA (College of Physicians and surgeons of Alberta)

I saw Doctor Sara, the “dermatologist” who just has an interest in dermatology (said right on the card) and it was an awful experience. I started breaking out with blisters on multiple body sites(chest, face, behind the knees, thighs, ankle.) They were dark purple and red(definitely not a blood blister, you could see the fluid just like a normal blister)and when they popped fluid would come out. She has the nerve to tell me it was not blisters and it was in fact a Covid rash. Well I hadn’t even had Covid or any sickness within months at this point. I also decided to google “Covid rash” and it looked absolutely nothing like what I was experiencing. I’ve also never seen a rash leave holes in peoples bodies and the god awful scars they left behind. So now it’s about 9 months later and once in awhile these blisters still show up. Still haven’t even caught a hint of a cold and still Covid free. Safe to say I’m waiting to see an ACTUAL dermatologist.

First few times I've been there were not that great. I was excited at first that there was a new clinic opening up near my home. But now, I have only gone because it is nearby. I am now trying to find a new doctor because each visit I've had hasn't been great. The front staff are either great or could care less. The doctors that I have had are also very rushed and just want to get you out of there quickly. I've gone in wanting to ask questions regarding my health and they have been more focused on just having me leave so they can get the next person in. I leave with more questions and confusion than before entering. If I try to ask the doctor a question regarding my health or about medication I have been prescribed, they just tell me to take the medicine and don't worry. They care more about getting people in and out quickly, rather than the patient's themselves. Will not be returning.

This clinic needs to be reported. It's not just bad service. It's NO service. I got my blood test and they would not let me see it. They said the doctor needed to see me because there was something concerning in my results. They would not even tell me how out of the normal range my White Blood Cell count was. They said I needed to pay $20. All the services that should be free for patients living in Alberta, this clinic charges. For a fee, you get to see your result (note, I didn't want a copy....just wanted to see my results). But if you don't pay, they say it's for privacy reasons that they cant show you your results..how does this make sense??? I would rate the clinic negative star if that was an option. The only wonderful doctor I would go see there is Dr. Chris. Otherwise, don't bother!

The doctor's are great, the communication at this place is ridiculous. My doctor went on maternity leave, I didn't find out till I tried to book an appointment. I asked but they gave no information about when she would be back. Had medication prescribed through a different doctor in the meantime. Tried to book a follow up appointment, but he wasn't taking appointments the week I needed. I was given the schedule of when he would be in if i wanted to come as a walk in. Bus all the way there, "oh he's at a different clinic today" bus all the way to that clinic only for the receptionist at that clinic to inform me that my regular doctor is actually back at Bonnie Doon and working today. Just a ridiculous and unnecessary run around that wasted my whole day.

I would not recommend this medical centre to anybody! Every time I call they put me on hold for over 6 minutes, the receptionists (one in particular) are always super rude, always rushing me and patronizing me. I was looking for a family doctor and they set me up with a doctor who does not have regular hours and who works at the clinic only a couple of times a month. I asked for a referral to a female gynecologist and after over a month they called me back telling me that they had a doctor for me. When I called to book the appointment they said that they didn't have anybody and that they could refer me to someone else but I'd have to wait 4-6 months. This clinic has been my nightmare.

I would give them ZERO stars if I could. The receptionists don't seem to know what they're doing or what proper procedures are put in place for any given situation. Managing to send referrals through properly has been proven difficult with many trips back to the clinic being necessary and still not being done. They hardly speak English and the ones that do don't seem to understand what you're saying anyways. The communication between staff is seriously lacking and this makes for everything else 100x more difficult than it needs to be. I could go on and on but I'll stop. Find a different clinic. This one is NOT worth the frustration and most certainly isn't worth your time.

I would give negatives stars if I could this place is a complete joke if you call there the receptionist interrupts you, makes you sound and feel like you stupid, and then puts you on hold there seperate times for long amounts of time. It was Very difficult to keep from getting almost mad with the receptionist as she wouldn't listen to a question long enough before she started harping about a different thing. It was a complete waste of 20 minutes. experiemce wa annoying enough that I will stop my Friends from going here if I hear they are going to. Re-evaluate/retrain the staff on the front lines.

Front staff are pretty rude. Either on the phone or in person. There is one woman there that is nice the rest seem to have an attitude. Doesn't seem the cleanest either. I never once seen the staff do contact wipe on any of the surfaces there. Holds are super long. I tried to make a couple appointments that seem to have never even been booked through there staff. The Dr.s that I have met so far are nice. But I try not to come here if I can because I rather not deal with the front staff's attitude. And the waiting rooms are always full I thought there was a limit to people in waiting rooms?

Couple Doctors I've seen are nice, take their time and through.... but!! Don't know if there computer system is faulty or staff is. Sometimes wait times suck, even if you have appointment. Some patients are missed or forgotten and unless we remind them we are here you don't get in. They could definitely use a good old fashion paper/list system for each doctor to keep track of waiting patients. And if doc is to leave instructions or make referrals.... follow up with reception BEFORE you leave to make sure they get done. Otherwise you will be calling and coming back to do it yourself.

These people are terrible. I am 12 weeks pregnant had three appointments with them. First off they didn't log me as a prenatal patient so i received no prenatal care. Wheb asked why I was simply told that some of the staff was new and made a mistake. I was issued a blood test form to confirm my pregnancy and the doctor didn't properly fill it out. I was brushed off by another doctor when i asked to be examined for some concerns I had. Never had blood test results read never had ultrasound results read... Dont waste you tine and your health these people are a joke FIND A REAL DOCTOR!

I wish there would be a negative star rating system because I would give them minus 100. This place is disgusting! Mean evil people! Stay away! Go to a real medical center. Sketchy staff and "doctors". The doctors look like fake doctors: maybe they are operating with no credentials... They try to pad up people like cattle, build their roster and over prescribe at any cost. There is nothing medical about that place. This place should get investigated by the Alberta Health Services and ultimately get shut down. I might Tweet this to them on Twitter to get their attention.

Seemed good at beginning (about 1 year ago) but as time went on service became lax. Booked appointments were at least an hour waiting time, disorganization, Doctor sending you to your pharmacist to get opinion on what medications you should be taking, charging $5 to obtain copies of your blood test. When told to come back in 2 weeks to monitor progress on new medications, it's challenging as doctors are in sporadically. In fact one specialist sent me for a important test and to this day have not seen this specialist or received the results through this clinic.

I felt very unhealthy on Sunday 04/24/2022, and I went to schona medical but unfortunately, there were many people before me, so I decided to go to Boone doon medical center at 10:30 am, and it was empty and when I arrived I A young woman attended very rudely and told me that they could not attend to me because she thought my symptoms were from covid as if she were a doctor, also very rude, I already had a place in schona medical because I was waiting, so the attention It is the personal judgment of the receptionists, I wonder beware of this horrible place

Doctors The doctors have always appropriately addressed my concerns and provided the care I needed. You may not have the same one each time, but they are good. Booking Appointments When I have booked appointments it’s always been within 10-20 minutes of appointment time. There is city wide doctor shortages, + the additional support required to help our senior’s in the Bonnie doon community. Come prepared, be considerate. I try and come prepared, keep the appointment short to help alleviate some of the pressure all clinics are facing, not just this one.

The doctors are good, particularly Doctor Bulk, but the reception is not worth the effort of staying there. I have been trying to get a refilled persceiption for 4 days and nothing, they have given me appointments with the wrong doctors, cancelled my appointments without notifying me, and given me the wrong medical test forms delaying much needed testing. If I knew how to report them I would, at this point it isn't just disappointing it's negligence. They need to hire better staff to match the caliber of their doctors. Would not recommend to anyone.

First time coming here. Arrived at 11am. When I walked in said hi to reception, they walked away. When they came back she sat at her computer, while I stood there, saying nothing to me. Not even "I'll be with you in a moment". Said I suspect a uti. By maybe 11:30 I get a cup to urinate in. By 12 I'm brought to a room. 12:30, I've yet to see a doctor. Absolutely should not have come to this clinic, as the waiting time is by far the worst I've ever experienced and the front staff clearly doesn't know how to engage and properly interact with patients.

It is sad to see so many negative comments, but we all have our own experiences. Mine was of kindness and uderstanding. Doctor was very helpful. All I can say is 'thank you' to all who took care of me on Sunday morning. I agree with comments about the pharmacy next door. They overcharged me as well - small amount but if they do it to hundreds of patients...Very slow service too. I was the first customer, but they waited for more people to bring prescriptions, before they started sorting and dispensing medications.

Family has been here a few times now for different things. The staff works hard and is generally helpful when approached with gentle care. We don't have them as family care providers, so perhaps their patients get more follow up and communications, but walk ins will need to call and follow up on your own, which can be aggravating. They are busy, so show up as close to start times as you can manage, there will be lines. It's hard to get into providers these days, so we kinda gotta take the food with the bad.

Booked an appointment but the doctor couldn’t make the time. Clinic cancels less than 24 hours by leaving a message , wasn’t received by this patient Upon arrival for my scheduled time as originally made I was told to wait as a walk in. Sitting now for more than an hour told I was last on the new list. If the Pt did the cancellation they would be penalized with a fee. What makes the clinics time more valuable than a patient ? Horrible use of tax dollars by this province of AB ! Heads up !

The reception at this clinic is the absolute worst. I can't understand how they let someone so rude work the front desk. You can't call to book an appointment either as you're put on hold followed by them just hanging up on you. If you're lucky enough to get Dr. Jesmin you will get great medical help. The other doctors act like you are wasting their time unless you have something more serious, in which case they'll just send you to emergency because they don't know what they're doing.

Im giving one star not because of the medical service but the clerks at front desk. They are very rude and unproffisonal to there paticents. Ive been to this placd 4 times now waiting for them in waiting room and witnessing people be treated aweful. The staff dont seem to deal with stress easyvand they get stress if there are 4 or 5 people in the line up. They deffently need some custorm service training. Recommond going some other place it you would like to be treated with respect.

First off, I will say the reception staff were very nice. Was not impressed that we were put in a treatment room that appeared to be a storage room also. The doctor (if you could call him that) was very rude, unprofessional. I would put here what I really think of him but I won’t type curse words today. Did not want to come close to my husband as he can’t wear a regular mask. He needs to learn some bedside manners. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Doctors are fantastic but reception will leave you on hold for 30 minutes (at which time the call times out and hangs up automatically). My referral to an OB was denied and instead of trying for another OB, or getting a hold of me to let me know, they just did... nothing? Be prepared to advocate for your own care here because apparently they don't have procedures to automatically look for a new referral recipient if first choice is unavailable. Unacceptable.

Doctors are fairly knowledgeable and able to help in most cases. Reception on the other hand is absolutely useless. If you can call and make an appointment without waiting on hold for atleast 20 minutes, your made to wait a minimum of 5-20 minutes for the one receptionist who does her job while the other receptionist sits there and stares and ignores you until the receptionist who cares has finished registering patients or taking them to the waiting rooms.

I went to emergency at the uofa for stomach pain and got testing done. The doctor there dismissed my symptoms and told me no real treatment was needed. Came here and saw dr. Swaih, he actually listened and sent me for further testing which resulted in a diagnosis and I will be seeing a specialist. I am very happy with this clinic. overall everyone was nice, good follow up, very minimal wait times and an I got an understanding on what has caused my pain.

Garbage! If possible, find another place. Terrible service. I had to call them to confirm an appointment but the phone just goes on endless loop. In between, it asks you to press number 6 to reach the front desk. After 10 mins, the phone gets cut off. This means, they have progressed thr phone so that it automatically does this and ends the call without anyone even bothering to answer it. Shame that i cant give it 0 starts. What a $hi**y medical center.

I’m going to have to stop going here. This is only what happened today, alone. Called 5 times, rings busy every time. Finally got through and on hold for 15 mins and notified that I’m first person in line. 3 times I’m on hold for 15 or so minutes and every single time…. I get hung up on. Call back for the 9th time….”We are now closed.” This is not the first or even just the second or third time this has happened. Unfortunate. I like Dr. Triffis.

My family and I have been seeing several of the physicians here for a couple of years now. (GP, Endocrinologist, Cardiologist). Dr. Trifis is the best GP I've ever had. He listens to you, will take the time to answer questions, and is very careful and detail oriented. I can say, without exaggeration, that his conscientious work saved the life of both of my parents. I would (and have) unhesitatingly recommend Dr. Trifis to other people.

Who cares if someone Is dying because the Fear of covid is greater then actually practising medicine. All doctor who practice out of fear and following gov't regulations after the truth is out should start opening their eyes because allowing people to die is not why you became a physician.

I had and appointment at this clinic and they made me wait for over 45 minutes to see a dr. The dr was rude and dismissive. One of the worst dr's Iv ever seen. The female dr there has no people skills and after wsiting so long with an appointment and be treated so poorly I would not recommend waisting your time. If you actually want a caring dr willing to listen and help keep looking. Terrible the way I was treated.

Reception is disorganized and slow. Saw doctor twice. First time saw him was starting to have an allergic reaction to something, was seen for less than 5 minutes he gave me some basic anti histamines. Had a severe reaction over the weekend and when I came back the day after with an appointment waited an extra hour and a half only to be seen for another less than 10 minutes and receive no prescriptoons or diagnoses.

Came in for a 35 mm long deep cut across and down to bone of my left thumb knuckle from a construction utility knife. I received immediate excellent, efficient medical attention from staff and especially Dr Jesmin Soroardy, MD CCFP (family medicine) who took great care of me and stitched me up, and delivered a tetanus shot. Thank you Dr. Jesmin Soroardy and all the staff there at the Bonnie Doon Medical Centre!

Terrible service, I booked an ear cleaning as they felt full of wax, the doctor was rude, unprofessional and wouldn't clean them. He kept asking unrelated questions and said they were dirty but not that dirty. He left after about 2 minutes and that was that. I have to question what he charged AHS for this 2 minute treatment. Rude, waste of time and possibly cheating the system. Will never go there again

I've been going here for about 5 years and I've been really impressed with the doctors. Dr. Swaih and Dr. Tricia are excellent. They are very compassionate, listen and make sure you get great treatment. Front staff aren't great but it's the doctor that matters. When they first opened the was never a wait but it's been growing over the last few years normally it takes about 30 Min to see a doctor.

I came here because this is one of the closest places that accept walk-ins, but I sure wish I chose a different doctors to go! The doctor was very unprofessional and possibly racist. Instantly insisted in ruling out any type of pain medication when I wasn't going to ask for any. This isn't the first time I've been treated this way due to my skin colour, I'm sure it won't be the last!!

Had a Walk-In to see a doctor, at the insistence of 811. Doctor took less than 2 minutes to look at me and told me to go to a hospital. Over five and a half hours wait later, had a ER doctor practically laugh at his stupidity and being unable to diagnose a simple dermatological problem. Didn't help that the letter he wrote for them had multiple spelling mistakes. Lazy and inept.

Love this location! The pharmacy staff is hilarious and personable and the doctors appointments are speedy and helpful. Not to mention the front desk is always ready to help me in any way they can I think this place has such a bad rating because I see a lot of people being rude to staff and blowing up for no reason... all I can say is treat people how you want to be treated!

Avoid at all costs. We went to get checked out for soreness the day after a car accident. After a 3 hours wait, Dr. Swaih informed us that he would not provide any proof of us attending the appointment for insurance or police records. We drove 10 minutes to Primacy and were in and out in 15 minutes with the needed documentation. Bonnie Doon Medical Centre is a joke.

They make you call other doctors clinics and keep you on hold for 20 minutes to find out they are too lazy and disorganized to do their job. My experience has been pretty mixed. I've been ok. But my girlfriend went for an issue with her eye. Drs are good. Good luck dealing with the disorganized medical office assistants who have no idea whats going on, one with the long nails and black hair doesn't let you finish talking. Also I agree with past reviews on being hung up on while on hold. Wait times can be anywhere from 5 mins to 2 hours, even when you have an appointment!!

My daughter was having a severe reaction to a nut allergy. We were never seen. Finally the pharmacist helped us once we realized no one would help us. The nurses gave no advice just made us wait forever until we gave up and left. It was a terrifying experience and I'm very disappointed. Glad my baby survived. What a joke of a clinic.

Went to have my arm checked to make sure it wasn't broken, left with a 100$ bill, them telling me to go to a hospital, and A horridly painful experience with them cleaning and bandaging some minor abrasions which were incredibly painful to remove.
