Excellent bookshop. Brian the owner is helpful friendly and just a pleasure to talk to. There is way more than just books here though. You can also browse the large selection of Educational toys at the back. You can buy aprons, framed pictures greeting cards wrapping paper and even stamps too. Plus Brian does gift cards and book tokens. There is a small stationary section and there is Sandymount's photocopier service too. This is a go to place for children's party gifts. It has the best communion cards in Sandymount and was I believe the first place in Sandymount to stock same sex marriage greeting cards. Go Books on the Green for all the above!

Amazing place managed by Brian - the nicest bookseller I ever met, you always feel welcome! Brilliant books for children + some selection for adults, additionally the second room is with the toys- not just oridinary toys, but great activity toys indoor and outdoor. There is a small Sandymount Green park 30 meters away, so if you need a ball for your small football player or a chalk for your small artist, the Books... are so convenient to drop by!

An absolute gem of a bookstore in Sandymount, Dublin. Jam packed with books, toys and gifts you can hardly swing a cat! Queues outside always. A bowl of water is always outside for the pups too. Right beside the park, next door to the pub and loads of eateries nearby. Just super!

This is a great bookstore. They always know what books to recommend to me. Great service, books, cards and gift items. Family and friends in the US love the Irish Christmas cards I sent this year. Hope 2021 is a better year for everyone.

Great mix of local books with focus on Sandymount and Dublin in general as well as all your handpicked bestsellers. The staff seems to have read all of the books and is incredibly helpful.
