The atmosphere is about the only thing they have going here. Not sure if this was a training day but the staff was kinda all over the place and they are not all that friendly. A lady ahead of me ordered a hot chocolate and they called out a a latte, then to find out it was a mocha. After all that there was no apology to the lady and they also rolled their eyes that they had to remake the lady's drink. The pick up area is a cluster, it would help if they called out names or ticket numbers. All the coffee roasting products and equipment all over the place makes it look messy not quirky. The coffee if you like a sweeter bean is good. Not my type of bean. I think my biggest issue is that I paid over $6 for a breakfast sandwich and the bagel was ruined because it was microwaved to long and became to hard to eat. I love supporting local places, but I probably won't be back

If I had to create a top 5 Indy coffee list, Brickhouse would be in that list. The coffee house initially started as a Roastery and now they brew their own coffee and serve some very delicious baked goods. I tried Lavender Lemon Scone paired with Americano and I must say that was such a stellar combination. The crispy lemony scone with hints of lemon and medium roast Columbia’s roast was such a fine morning treat. This coffee shop isn’t a chain and is a local gem in Geist. The area is captivating and so is the coffee shop. Ambience is sheer bliss and there’s a comforting vibe about the entire space. Highly recommend trying out Brickhouse for their coffee and excellent service!

I like to order a traditional espresso and a cup of drip, depending on what is available. The point is to get a feel for the espresso and for how they make/sell the coffee. If you ever go get a basic coffee bean drank, you probably can’t taste the actual espresso. This espresso was made from some fresh beans. Not rancid or bitter at all, just strong and absolutely delicious on its own. The drip coffee was hot and fresh, once I got somewhere to sit down and enjoy it, it was equally good. Subtle flavors, not burnt, not old. Just very good. Bourbon barrel Brazilian? Outstanding. The spinach quiche and lentil soup were unexpectedly well made and a perfect lunch. We spent a long time here talking to the owner and having a great time. He was happy to answer all of our questions. Thank you so much.

Exactly what a cafe means. People who know their coffee and provide local roasts and a variety of styles. Their corazon is my favorite bean to take home, grind, and french press. Yes they will grind the beans for you if you like for whatever style you brew at home! Friendly staff, good treats to pair with your brew while you read, catchup on homework, or do some quiet reflection. Atmosphere is chill, plenty of seating for groups of 2 to 4 as well as solo seating. Good placement of outlets as well. Music isnt too loud and feels contemplative. Add it to your list of coffee houses you visit in the month.

I'm lucky to be able to call Brickhouse my local coffee spot. Living nearby has given me the opportunity to visit a few times now. I always find the service to be great and I love their wide variety of flavored syrup choices. I would always love to see additional sugar free options available, but that's a personal preference. Not only is the coffee great, the food is good too. The bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwiches are a fantastic way to start the day. If you're looking for gluten free baked goods, this is the place. They have a variety of gluten free items, including a banana bread that knocked my socks off. I'll keep coming back to support this local spot.

Usually stop here on Wed mornings and always ask for a Latte with no foam (otherwise you only get about 80% of a 16 oz cup). Last Friday I stopped and ordered the Latte no foam and received a 80% filled cup with 20% foam. scooped out the foam and asked the employee if I could get this topped off. Her response was that she has no way to charge me for topping it off. Funny how I was already charged for a full cup but it's impossible to charge me more to top off the 16 oz cup. I can't decide if this employee was trying to be difficult or simply didn't understand that I already paid for a full cup? Perfect example why you don't tip before you get your item... *this was my last visit...

I was SO incredibly excited when I first noticed the “Brickhouse Coffee Coming Soon” sign hanging in the window near Kroger on Fall Creek Road! On my first visit to this location I actually did a little dance as I walked up to the counter and told the staff I was so happy they were here! This place has amazing coffee! The flavor is rich and never disappoints! Every drink I have tried is wonderful, but I am a big fan of their dirty chai! If you like decaf, you should definitely try the one Brickhouse has! Their pastries are very good, too! I especially like the pumpkin muffins and cinnamon rolls. The portions are generous and they offer to heat them up if you wish. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is comfortable.

I love Brickhouse Coffee Co. at Geist Shoppes. They have the best coffee in town, and I know they care about the farmers who grow their beans. They roast their own beans locally, which makes them super fresh and flavorful. Their specialty coffee is worth every penny. If you're looking for a wonderful place to enjoy a cup of joe, check out Brickhouse Coffee Co. You won't regret it.

I stumbled upon a real gem of a coffee shop this week. Brickhouse Coffee Co has quickly become my favorite spot. The cozy atmosphere, perfectly balanced background music, and, most importantly, the best coffee in Indianapolis, have won me over. Not to mention the excellent customer service from Molly and the delicious pastries, which I believe are freshly made by their in-house baker. There's no doubt I'll be returning to Brickhouse Coffee Co.

I absolutely LOVE Brickhouse. YOU will too! Just stop by at 79th and Fall Creek for a drink, a bite to eat, and (definitely) outstanding customer service with a smile! You won't be disappointed. I love when I pop in (often!) for a morning muffin, and the muffin is already being added to a bag with a smile. In addition, they have a great rewards program to earn more yummy goodness. I finally want to give a SHOUT OUT for their Christianly generosity--they generously donated some back-to-school goodies for Horizon Christian. THANKS so much for being a phenomenal alternative to "S" or "DD."

Even though the place was very busy I got my drink fairly quickly. From the pick-up spot I could see the barista preparing my drink, which, a least for me, made me less impatient. I got a blended carmal latte and it was very good. Laura, the owner and person who took my order, was very patient and answered all of my questions about the different aspects of their coffee. All of Brickhouse's coffees have multiple options which allows you to customize the drink how you want. Because of this, I would encourage you to ask questions about the different options, the staff will be more than happy to answer them.

The ramp on the sidewalk is a little further down to the left of the shop, but the sidewalk itself isn't that high. Inside there's room for a wheelchair to be at a table, though there isn't any table specifically for that.

We discovered Brickhouse coffee when they were in Greenwood and were sad when they left the area. Recently we found them in the Geist area. I was so excited. Yesterday we stopped in to get some coffee. The ladies behind the counter went above and beyond. They gave my husband several recommendations and let us sample their new bourbon brown butter caramel sauce, which is AMAZING! They even sold us a jar. We also love their Triple B coffee pods so we snatched up a box of those. The El Corazon coffee is amazing as well! Highly recommend this place!

  • Susan Miller

I like Brickhouse Coffee Co because I can get a really good cup of locally roasted coffee served in a real coffee mug (not paper) and drink it in a relaxed atmosphere. Their lattes are exceptional. They make their own syrups. As a result, the lattes carry the essence of the flavoring, and are not overbearingly sweet. There are a variety of seating options available for meeting friends, groups, or doing work. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. Go check it out!

The bacon cinnamon roll is AMAZING, as you can tell by the picture. Hahaha! I smashed that tasty treat. An iced Dark Mocha is a must for me as I get some work done. The leather chairs in the corner are a great place to get comfortable and read a book. As a bonus, if they're roasting coffee on a cold day, the roaster really creates a warm and toasty atmosphere I personally enjoy. It's kind of like sitting fireside at home.

Their food is mostly dry and hard to eat. The service can be a little chatty with customers and slow as a result. The main reason why I will probably never go back is that they've moved their roasting operation into the cafe reducing seating in an already small environment and making it hot and loud. I can't concentrate here, time to take my business elsewhere.

Brickhouse Coffee is the place for great local barista brewed coffee and tea. The beans are terrific. Brickhouse makes the BEST decafe roasted bean. The flavor is excellent. If coffee doesn't get you in the door, the chocolate chip cookies will. Brickhouse also has a great gathering space for the times when you are not grabbing to go but if you are in a hurry their app makes ordering easy when you need it ready when you are.

The people here are so nice and the drinks and goodies are fantasic! And, they make gluten free goodies. Today I went in for a coffee and snack and asked if they could heat the gf pumpkin muffin. She pointed to the microwave, which was fine. But, the other batista overheard and said she had a batch right out of the oven. They were so delicious!! I love this place!

In my search for a local roaster, I wandered into Brickhouse and was immediately helped by Larry in choosing my bags of beans. He generously took time to determine my taste and brewing preferences, describe each bean and roast, and make useful recommendations. I was pleased to see the roasting dates on the packages and how recently they were roasted. I have a new source for great beans!!!

Brickhouse Coffee is a locally owned business that offers a superior product and exceptional customer service. So much better than the leading national chain. Their coffee and coffee drinks taste great. I’ve recently discovered their craft cups, which work flawlessly in my Keurig coffee brewer’s at home and work. The craft cup is so much better than anything you can buy at the store and is reasonably priced for what you get. Great place and great people.

Great find near Tomo. Nutella espresso with oat milk has me thinking oat milk might not be so bad after all. Peach mint refresher was excellent - almost like drinking a lightly sweetened peach ice tea with mint. Will certainly return to explore their seasonal offerings throughout the year. Highly recommend.

I love Brickhouse coffee! I first started going when they had a standalone shop in Greenwood. I was there almost everyday and the employees were always so nice. Coffee always tastes so fresh. They make their one vanilla syrup so it doesn’t taste like cardboard like a lot of other places I love to buy their beans to take home. Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops. 10/10 would recommend.

So much potential. The staff was very kind and customers very friendly. They serve the lattes etc in to go cups unless you ask “for here” mugs. Very backwards. The caramel sauce didn’t taste great but the chai was good. They need more cozy nooks for 2-4 ppl and maybe a fireplace large artwork or some kind main focal point that gives more aesthetic to the cafe

We love Brickhouse! Comfortable seating with plenty of space. Good sandwiches as well as baked goods. The coffee is great! Staff is very accommodating. Glad it's not too far a drive for us.
