Very knowledgeable owner who is usually found sitting at the counter chilling out watching soccer (he normally wears his glasses on his forehead). He gives you advice on what you're having trouble with (he asks and gives detailed q&a!), and if he thinks the products in his shop will not solve anything or help at all, he'll suggest not to purchase them to save you the hair pulling. The employees are nice too! Don't feel frightened when you come here; the employees are willing to use their time to help you with whatever you need. (They also have birds and aquariums at the back lol)

Read the 5+ star review. A bit out of the way from my location. Traveled across town. I needed a key cut. I showed up met very friendly people. Asked if they can cut my key. They were able to when no one else can. Very reasonable pricing. Keys cut and paid went home to test every key cut worked!! Very professional job. do not waste your time going to anyone else these are the go to people for key cutting. I am very happy customer. I will go back for key cutting! Happy Shopping

Amazing staff, great location. Save yourself the hassle of attending the home hardware on college, and go straight to here. They have all the things at the home hardware does not regularly stock, and the things at home hardware should stock but doesn’t. In fact, do yourself a favour and just avoid the home hardware altogether. Just come straight here. Amazing prices, friendly stuff. And the supplies you need to get your build done.

An independent hardware store in downtown Toronto; a very rare creature these days. Herman and his family have been providing great products, fair pricing and fantastic advice for many years. Tool rentals, cut wire & rope, household goods, paint, keys...you name it, they have it. If you don't see it, just ask. These people are the kindest folks you will ever meet. I always shop at CAAM when I am working in the area.

The most helpful. The staff here takes an interest in your project, big or small, and provides detailed help and the right products at a great price. For a plumbing issue I recently had, they offered both a short-term and long-term solution. If they don't have what you need, they know where you can get it and will point you in the right direction. Great community business with friendly and knowledgeable employees!

I used to live right across from this place as a university student. Now I'm a bit further and don't come in as regularly, but I popped in today to buy some yard waste bags and twine and they were just as friendly and helpful as I remember. I recall buying a fan here as a student and they assembled it for me. You don't get that kind of service at big box stores. Thank you!!

This is my fave hardware store right now, because the service is so good, clearly so much better than big box stores. The difference is that you can tell they actually care, which is sadly rare these days. The nice lady will really help you esp when you go when its not busy. It's so important to support small business, so I will always try here first when I have time.

The service is absolutely amazing at Caam United Hardware. On several occasions, the staff has gone out of their way to help me out on my latest project by walking me through installations, drilling extra holes, and answering any questions. The prices are really good, and there's a great variety of stock for any project. Keep up the great work!

This place is without a doubt the best place in downtown Toronto for hardware supplies. The prices are cheaper here by a wide margin in comparison to Home Hardware etc. The staff are also very friendly and offer good recommendations. Should be your first stop for hardware needs in the area.

Great little neighborhood hardware store. Full of pretty much anything you need. Saved me a few times with just the little odd thing. Friendly helpful staff. It is places like this that really shine and keep a neighborhood going and building.

Really great knowledgeable staff/owners. They're quick to help you find something or talk you through a project if you want second opinion. I bus out my way to go here for my home needs. Also, they're about 20-30% cheaper than Canadian tire.

Called on a Thursday shortly after 5 to be sure they're be open until 6:30 and by the time I walk there it's 5:40 and they have a steel cage across the doors and the lights are off... Sweet customer service
