I desperately want to give NEGATIVE stars, but Google doesn't have that option. I want to be extremely transparent, do not give this store a cent of your hard earned money. Either by purchasing or selling. You are very well buying stolen or dishonestly obtained items. Not only were we clearly AND I MEAN CLEARLY racially profiled by the owner, our items were terribly disrespected, broken and they blatantly and openly lied to our faces! We took our broken and disheveled items back, only to find several MISSING!!! If you must engage with this store, do NOT leave your items with them to review!!! Please read the reviews below, they are 100% correct! To the owners, know this, you get what you give. NO ONE leaves this life without Karma bitting at your back... good luck with that, its pretty damn clear Karma knows you well!

My wife went into this store with 135 mint condition DVD movies and 30 series. The owner told her to leave the store for 20 minutes while he looked at the dvd's. When she returned he gave her a mere $25 for 75. Movie titles and 30 TV series sets. This guy is a crook and I am going to report him and his shady business dealings and basically stealing. 75 + 30= 105 DVD,s total. So basically he paid about .23 cents a title for dvd's that were worth .75 cents to a $1.00 each. As well the TV series sets are at least worth $2.00 each. So let's see 75 movies × .75 = 56.25 + 30 × $2 = $60 ...total paid to me and my wife should have been $116.25 or there abouts. But no this scam artist. Ripped off my wife gave her a measly $25 dollars for around $120 worth of dvd's.

I brought in 15 boxes of great condition dvd’s Many of them series. I asked to be fair and if so I will sell them all. As I waited for half an hour I was told that they would take only a quarter of which I brought....and were offering. 25cents for singles and .50 cents for series. I would rather donate them all then to sell to these dishonest men. All I asked was to be fair and they low balled me like I didn’t have a clue. My advice, stay clear of these rip off artists and sell your stuff yourself at a garage sale because you will clearly get more money. This was a direct insult on my intelligence and I will make sure everyone I know will never do business with this establishment.

Time warp! Remember the days when you wanted new music and you would head to the music store at the local mall, spend 20 to 30 bucks on a CD that only had 2 good songs? Lol!! There is just something about flipping through records while drinking a smoothy, what about that cassette tape that you lent to your friend and never got it back!?! Last one, they broke into your car and stole your cd case!?!?CD trader is that place that fills those voids, they have a great selection, in good shape ,some music is even brand new unopened at a great price you'll see! So check them out they even have great deals on DVDs!

I called to inquire if they had 6 DVDs I’m looking for and the guy barely listened to my list, put me on hold for 2-3 minutes and said “we don’t have any thanks” and hung up on me. I called back, he said “yeah I told you we don’t have any” and hung up on me again.. I called back a third time to let him know he was being disrespectful and he hung up AGAIN. Like, are you kidding me?? Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. If you’re going to run a store, the LEAST you could do is be respectful towards your customers. Never visiting.

Wow. They sell their products at an extremely good epics point, the best I have ever seen. When new movies cost 8$ here and 30$ at Best Buy, you know that they are doing something right. I have heard that selling them items is not the greatest, but I cannot comment on that as I have not done it yet. I do feel like I am being watched very very carefully, which does freak me out a little bit. But if you can handle the stares and somewhat disorganized selection, then you can find some truly epic deals.

I had exactly the same experience as another reviewer, Darren Fuller, when it came to selling my CDs. Out of a box of approximately 190 CDs they wished to buy 75. Fair enough. But then they offered me $60 for the 75. Given that, apart from a 5 for $10 bin, the minimum price of the CDs they sell is $3, I asked them for $150 for the 75CDs - giving them at LEAST a 50% markup. They countered with $120 at which point I took my CDs and went home. They aren't interested in paying a fair price.

Yeah the customer service is sketchy but where else are you going to find deals like this? Go prepared to haggle and really explore and you'll do well. I really have to praise their cd selection. It's unreal and the prices are amazing. Are cd's dead? Well, not for many audiophiles. Streaming is great but cd's are a very reasonable way to own your music at a higher quality than vinyl. Yes compression, mastering, loudness wars, etc. Do your research. Fight me. Love this place.

Check in quite often when looking fir cds or dvds. Tremendous variety. BUT- be prepared to spend a lot of time on your knees searching through boxes of stuff looking for what you want. SO MANY of each (cds and dvds) and not a lot of organization so you have to search through stacks to find what you want. With the amount they have it is understandable how organization is difficult, if not nearly impossible. Fair prices though so worth the effort.

This store has almost everything that you may be looking for. The used CD's are priced alright. Some of the "New Arrivals(used)", can be a bit pricey. However, the store is completely unorganized and can take forever to search. Time is of the essence! I would not recommend going here if your day is fulfilled, if you have that spare time to browse through CD's and DVD's since MOST are not alphabetically organized, you will be wasting your time.

I thought there were good prices. The cashier will change them when you bring them up to the counter. He initially said $5.00 for an item labelled $2.49/$4.49. I felt this was fair. He then looked at me looked back down and tried to rip off the sticker. He put a $10.00 sticker overtop and changed his answer to $10.00(double!). He did not even rip it all the way off as you can see the $4.49 part. It felt disrespectful and dishonest.

Totally dishonest businessman. One day exchanged my blu-ray movies for 1 dollar each, today the price of each blu-ray exchange was 50 cents each. I traded in 9 movies [3 of them sealed and brand new] and I got a very poor deal. Even though I gave the guy 9 movies of mine [8 blu-rays, 1 dvd], I still had to pay for only 3 blu-rays that I bought from him. Stay away from CD trader! Their business practices are reprehensible.

Poor customer service. I found a movie I wanted that had a sticker price of $2.50. When I went to pay for it the older man said $3. I said $2.50? He said no, $3, and then took the blu-ray and started to pull off the $2.50 sticker, but because it wasn't coming off easily he also started to damage the plastic cover with his fingernails. Unbelievable. How does he expect to get repeat customers when he behaves this way?

Left several boxes /totes of records to be "reviewed" by them. Came back to all of the boxes in disaray and un organized with some.records even broken in the box!! Then when i left with all the records discovered several missing records...so not only was it a waste of time but, but had several records gone missing!!! I would NEVER recommended anyone ever go to this place!!

For a small shop it has a pretty large selection of decently priced DVDs. Definitely the best part of this shop. Blu-ray not so much. Don't even bother coming for the vinyl. Rough shape and very overpriced. You'd be better off giving your items to a thrift store if you can't sell them privately. Don't expect much help or friendliness from staff.

Reasonable CD prices and good quality; they obviously sort their purchases before putting them up for sale. Decent selection for the size of the store and due to high turnover you can always find something if you take the time to sort through it all. Vinyl condition varies but much of it is priced very fair.

Not a bad little hole-in-the-wall for people that like to browse through used CD & DVD stuff. There are fewer and fewer of these outlets as time goes by and the online media choices increase. Lots of good deals depending upon what you're looking for and the timing is right - just like going to Winners.

Most of my IMDB top rated DVD movie collection [comprising 400+ titles] were purchased here for a mere $2.00 each. Thats right...!!! $2.00...!!! Simply put - this is fantastic store. Great people. Excellent value for the money. Hard to beat their deals. I doubt if you can do better anywhere else

Was in here not long ago. The owner watches you like you're stealing rolexes or something. nothing great. Might find something decent but some things are slightly overpriced and it's kind of funny how he stands outside his store and watches directly and see if your thiefing lol

I've never sold CDs or movies, so this is purely coming from a buyer's perspective. They have decent prices, lots of variety, and a reasonably well organized space. I always get the vibe that I'm being watched like a hawk in there, so that's why I'm not giving a 5 star rating.

Usually decent prices, but sometimes they seem randomly chosen (for better or worse). They add to their stock quite frequently, so if you go once a week the section you like looking at most will have a fair bit of new things. 1 in 10 albums are pretty scratched though.

They may have a good selection to buy but don't bother taking your old dvds or cds there to sell. He offered me a whole $10 for several items that were worth far more even 2nd hand. Total waste of time going there! I got a fair price of $150 elsewhere.

Signage in store says "We buy CD's". Which is not entirely true. First was quoted 10 for 20 cds and then quickly changed his response to 5 for 20 cd. If you happen to look at anything in store, they all of a sudden only willing to offer a trade.

Good selection on tapes CDs and vinyl,, found a few decent Blu-rays, and lots DVD deals as you walk in the store. It can get a little crowded as the store is smaller, but it is worth going and browsing as there are always a few surprises I

Aug 2023: Have been going to this store on occasion for many years. The last time I went I found the movies were quite cheap but the prices for CDs have increased significantly to the point where it's likely almost the same price to buy

The gentleman at the store (I think he was the owner) was very friendly and easy to talk to. Helpful with what I was looking for, and provided good information on possibly bringing them some CD's and DVD's that I am not using.

Hit and miss selection and quality. I'd love shopping the record collection if there weren't so many scratched records. Probably a great place to shop if you want lots of selection in DVD. I don't come here for the CDS.

Regular haunt of me for hunting records and CDs. Small collection of records but they seem to rotate regularly. Lots of CDs with some organization. Have found a good number of diamonds in the rough for a good price.

This is a very interesting quiet place to peruse CDs and find some treasures. The stock moves as trades come in and it is curated. I think pricing does reflect value. Very satisfied with my purchases. Yay!

At first I thought it was a play on words, Seedy Trader because I forgot that CDs existed, but this place is legit. I didn't buy any CDs but I looked in the Pop/Rock box, good selection. They buy CDs also.

The guy working there is very rude. Dropped several of the cds I brought in for him to look at. Had no care or respect for my items. Wasted 45 minutes of my time to make me an incredibly insulting offer.

Be careful to check that the right album is in the sleeve. I purchased a Stevie wonder that should have had 3 albums and I only recd 2 and one if them was Marvin Gaye. My fault for not checking better

I shop here often. There is an okay selection of vinyl records, many of them new, and they have tons of cheap CDs and DVDs. They also take your unwanted items in trade or for cash. A good shop!

Good prices, and an excellent selection. However, they would benefit from having better store hours, as well as having their collection catalogued (might be somewhat tough though). Great job!

I have been going to CD Trader for years, and the prices have always seemed fair and the selection plentiful. Small store so sometimes it can get a little crowded during peak times.

A lot of reasonably priced CD's and sets of movie series that take you down memory lane. I keep going back for kids' movies to keep mine occupied in the backseat of the car …

Good pricing , but horrible customer service , and maybe if they open and close on a time there website says instead of when is convenient for them they may get better business.

While the store is a bit of a mess, there was lots of great stuff available. Ended up grabbing a few rare CD's and took a look at some blu rays. Definitely worth stopping in.

Good selection of various movies and CDs. The staff need to show more consideration to customers if they improve this it would greatly improve the score and the store.

Some amazing deals. Some crouching but they do way they can with the space they have. Not terribly generous when buying but that keeps their inventory prices low.

Lots of cds, movies etc for awesome prices. Better to buy whole cds and convert to mp3's when it only costs $2 per CD instead of buying songs individually online.

Fantastic store, great prices and selection to the point where I would consider this place a treasure trove for the serious collector of music and movies.

Owners are rude and follow you around like you're gonna steal a 2$ cd but this is the only store i know that has a big selection of cds and dvds.

Supposed to open at 11. Waited around for half an hour on a Saturday morning. Lights are still off. Won't bother going out of my way again.

Customer service is not as goos as it could be, but the albums you can find at this place are great! The condition and prices are good to.
