I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at CVS Pharmacy (1616 E 86th St), characterized by unprofessionalism and a palpable lack of empathy from the pharmacy staff, especially an associate named Kelsey. I visited this location with a coupon for a 14-day CGM supply. However, Kelsey appeared irritated by the task of separating my month's supply - an action that saved me $35. It was disheartening to see a healthcare professional showing frustration over a simple, legitimate customer request. My visit took a further downturn when I asked about a pending order for Ozempic, a new medication for my diabetes. Kelsey's response was dismissive and curt. She mentioned that there were six other individuals ahead of me but failed to provide any information on when the prescription might become available, when asked. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse. Upon stepping away from the counter, I overheard Kelsey and two other technicians gossiping about our interaction. When confronted about this, Kelsey provided nothing but excuses, showing a complete lack of remorse or professionalism. Another technician also acted inappropriately while servicing a drive-up customer. She loudly complained about the customer's pick-up timeline, revealing sensitive information about their medication supply duration in a condescending manner. This not only breaches basic patient confidentiality but also shows a lack of respect. Due to these disconcerting incidents, I made the decision to transfer all my prescriptions to another CVS pharmacy, which thankfully has my required medication readily in stock. The level of service I encountered at the original CVS Pharmacy was unacceptable and necessitates immediate attention. This experience left me deeply dissatisfied. I urge CVS Pharmacy to address these issues promptly to ensure so no other customer has to endure such unprofessional behavior. Based on this encounter, I regretfully cannot provide any stars for my rating (1 start to be posted). It's crucial to remember that respect and professionalism should be standard in any healthcare setting.

I went here to go get tested for COVID. I scheduled it 3 days in advance to my testing. If I could give 0 stars- I definitely would. I pulled up to the drive through and there was a sign saying there drive through was down (don’t understand that one but it only gets worse from here). Me thinking they would answer my phone calls cause there was absolutely no sign saying they are not doing COVID testing. I called them 10 times. 3 at the front desk and the other for the pharmacy. No answer. Nothing. I check my email looking for some cancellation from them nothing. So 30 minutes of me sitting in my car, I finally walk in side ( I did not have COVID I did this testing for work). They told me their phones were down and so was there drive through and that they could not do covid testing. I ask them where the signs are saying they couldn’t and they all just kind of looked at each other. This is ABSOLUTELy ridiculous. No signs saying their phones were down nothing. they told me to call corporate if I really had an issue. What kind of service is this? You gave me no information on anything, no phone call, email, signs NOTHING. Saying you could not do covid testing. I will never be going back to this cvs for anything ever again. This is bad service not only for the customers but people who really needed to get tested and are sick and have had an appointment scheduled for days just to be told after 45 minutes they couldn’t do anything. Thanks for absolutely nothing.

This is the most unprofessional, chaotic chain pharmacy I've ever seen in my life... and they have a responsibility in helping to manage people's health!!!! This helps to determine if they LIVE or DIE. The lack of communication and the unwillingness to answer the phone have had my 84 year old grandmother close to tears for a week. Shame on the pharmacy and everyone that works there. To not even acknowledge a call for over a hour is ridiculous. I will miss work tomorrow and any other day so that you can understand what you are doing to people. I wouldn't be this upset if it were me but it's an 84 year old lady that I would give my life for... so I promise you all will either get it together or have a lawsuit against you. She needs multiple medicines!! You're ridiculous and I don't know how any 1 of you sleep at night. Quit picking up the phone to refresh the hold time. And just speak. People are counting on you. Pitiful!!!! *the store manager said she was leaving a note yesterday, stating the importance to follow up with me today. Still nothing!

DO NOT USE THIS CVS IF YOU LIKE GETTING ANY MEDICATION ON TIME!!!!!! Pharmacy is a mess. I have called multiple times to try and get a prescription refilled and wait on hold for an hour and no answer or acknowledgment of my call. I work 6 days a week and the Pharmacy hours were changed to 10am-6pm every day, how are people supposed to grab their medications if they work during regular business hours? And to top it off, a pharmacist made a comment about thinking I sell my medications when she thought I couldn't hear her. Before writing this, I was on hold for an hour and fifteen minutes and finally they just disconnected the line without even answering the call. Overall, this CVS pharmacy has ABYSMAL service and is a danger to their "patient's" health if they treat every person like I have been treated.

This CVS is literally the WORST that I've ever experienced-- in terms of the pharmacy. I wouldn't even give them half a star. The staff is literally incompetent. They are rude as hell and are extremely inconsistent. I get a text telling me one thing yet it turns out to be false. Out of the past 15 orders, they have gotten 1 correct on average. They cannot deal with insurance companies either. They are horrible and I would recommend NEVER using this pharmacy. I love CVS but this one is absurd. So needless to say I will be switching. Shout out to my Geist Crossing CVS for being the best ever!! Just wish I still lived close!

3 ⭐ because they usually have anything I need. But on this trip the store smelled like someone took a long hard dookie. The whole store smelled like really bad diarrhea. I couldn't even remember what I went in there for. I wanted to puke. I couldn't go any further than the jewelry right by the door. I found the prettiest butterfly hairpin and butterfly ring this time. I used my rewards and coupons and basically got one for free. The lady was very helpful with the self checkout. CVS should replace the machines because none of them, at any store, work properly.

This place is so rude, I asked to get pricing on a couple of prescriptions and was told by the tech she only has time for 1. There was no one else in line and the two ladies didn't even bother looking up. I didn't ask for something unusual and didn't need the attitude and being made to feel like an inconvenience. I'm starting care for my parents and was simply trying to ask for some information. You all are probably busy behind the scenes no doubt but I wasn't being rude nor demanding anything to be treated like trash. Not sure if CVS will even see this.

I can only get my script filled every 30 days exactly. It always falls on Monday. I have to take my meds in the mornings. CVS says that they cannot touch mine early. I am at the store at 9 am sharp. They tell me mine won't be ready til 11 am. He says that there are 50 ahead of me, however, I am the only one waiting. It only takes 5 minutes to fill the script. We have had problems with this pharmacy for a while. They are under staffed in the pharmacy area. This is the last straw for us. I am going to try Walgreens across the street.

THE WORST! Gone are the days of your friendly neighborhood pharmacy at this store. I'm gearing up for a fight today already. I'm going to make sure this pharmacist and her goblins know that they are hated. I'm going to call corporate as well. Just thinking about having to deal with this God awful place and these people today has my blood pressure up. Maybe they've been fired in the last month. I'm going to ask them AFTER I have my prescription in hand how it's possible they havent.

I visit pharmacy & store to see the wonderful, positive, upbeat, smiling & professional, astute staff! Best pharmacy anywhere anytime! I've driven through snow & ice 2 visit people who took me out of pain into good cheer of being cared about as a valued human being! No other pharmacy has served me as well & I'm old lady! Happy 2 recommend; my brother a dr & sister a surgeon!

Tonight (10/17/23) arrived @ CVS at 8:38 pm. Posted sign has store hours as closing ar 9:00pm. Door was locked and the young lady was strolling casually through the store knowing she had already locked up.And there were 2 other guys trying to spend their money at CVS but short girl wasn't having it! She did this before on 10/3/23.Fix this! FIX IT!

  • Ethan Smith

Terrible pharmacy- Poor service, slow at the pharmacy. I had a meeting to attend and couldn’t make it on time because I sat in the drive thru for 30 minutes before the car in front of me moved! Absolutely ridiculous.

  • Spartacus Trucking LLC

Jill, a CVS employee did an excellent job with helping customers. She went out of her way to help every customer who had questions in the store. Good customer service is hard to find these days. Five Stars for Jill!

  • Sara Bavender

Do not send your film here!!!!! They lost my disposable camera and basically said I’ll never see my pictures without an explanation to how it became lost. The staff is nice and tried to help, but very unorganized.

  • James Barker

Friendly and helpful staff, but wow...expect long waits, particularly at the drive through. It seems worse over the last 3 or 4 months. Just plain slow to be served, but also on prescription fills and refills.

  • Niassin Man

They’re cool but definitely just went in there and no one said anything and the lady with blonde braids was on her phone and didn’t even ask me if I needed help. Usually they’re customer service is on point.

  • Hafiz abdulla

Ordered online, after two days went for pickup , asks to wait for 30 minutes , after 30 minutes they say they don't have one of the medicines . And this is not the first time it's happening

  • Kristopher Wainscott

Disgusting bathroom. Filthy toilet and no hand soap half an hour after they open.. You'd think a pharmacy would pay special attention to areas in which cleanliness is actually noticed.

  • Robert Ruble

Conveniently located CVS pharmacy and store at corner of 86th Street and Westfield Boulevard. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice selection of beer, wine and liquor at competitive prices.

  • Austin Weir

Do not go to this pharmacy, people laying down at the entrance and the pharmacy takes 10 times as long as a normal pharmacy. Go here if you want to waste your time.

  • Jonathan Shubert

The Pharmacist and staff are completely incompetent. They will give you a 30 day supply of medicine and put they gave you a 90 day supply in the computer

  • Nancy Bate

I was on hold for the pharmacy for about 15 minutes. They finally picked up and said they don't have enough staff, and no one is applying to work there.

  • Michael Gause

Pharmacy closes at 9, NOT 10, as stated on website. That's the only reason I post...as a warning to people who count on meds every night. Pick up by 9.

  • Mohammad Aburumman

I will never came back One of the employees should go to take a class to understand how to recpect other people . Thank you

  • Nick Richardson

Great selection of products and very friendly staff! Great pharmacists! Getting into the parking lot can be a bit tricky.

  • A K

Not enough staff, folks don’t seem to know what’s going on. A quick trip here will take twice as long for no reason.

  • Peter Lander

Terrible pharmacy. Don’t seem to be connected to anything you request online. Failed at filling prescription twice.

  • Tiffany Hilton

Been on hold for 50 minutes so tried waiting in line. Only one car in front of me and it’s taken 20 minutes.

  • Prinz KAOS
