Extremely rude and snarky service from the pharmacy staff. Edited: didn't have time earlier for the whole review, so adding it now. I work for a delivery service. We had to take a Certification Course and pass Tests in order to be able to make Rx deliveries. Not only is it in the course, but the App LITERALLY says that if there's any issues with the order, The PHARMACY Staff are to call Support for my company. The women behind the counter were rude, talked down to me, spoke to me only from across the room and acted like they were better than everyone. But then when the lady got off the phone with support, she tried to LIE to me and tell me support told her to tell me that next time there's a problem, that I'M supposed to call them. There was even another CVS employee in line before me who stood there for some time without even being acknowledged, who finally just gave up and walked away from the area. These ladies are trash at customer service AND behaving like decent Adult human beings. I do not recommend this location to anyone needing pharmacy services.

Staff is unhelpful and unnecessarily rude. A cashier was helping me, and I had a couple of coupons and apologized for the hassle in advance. Regardless, seeing the number of coupons, she was already showing signs of grief and not wanting to be bothered. Ignoring this, I proceeded but one coupon didn't go through, and I wanted to know why since the coupon and brand of product matched. I was given eye rolls, attitude, and the cashier said "I don't have the patience for this," and called her manager on me. I don't believe I was being combative, just wanting to understand. But from this point on no one addressed me directly, Just talked about me, in front of me, like an animal. I did not raise my voice. I held my tongue. But I was shamed over a coupon and left the store crying, in shock and embarrassed. The manager on duty did nothing to console me, was silent, and did not seem to have control of the situation at all.

Worst customer service ever. There is no way these pharmacy techs, or pharmacists have even been to school. Went in to get a prescription after moving to Indianapolis from fort Wayne. Seems like the entire staff had no idea how to input my insurance information. I paid full price for all my meds. Come to find out that there were alternative meds that were over the counter that I could have purchased for a fraction of the cost. When I asked why these drugs were not recommended, I just got attitude and a blank stare. Never felt like a welcome customer, and like I was a burden, getting in the way of other stuff they wanted to do. Customer first, right?? Apparently not here. My recommendation, Walgreen's across the street. However, if you enjoy being talked down to, being made to feel like an inconvenience, crappy advice, and talking to faux medical professionals, this might be the place for you.

I’ve been going to this pharmacy for about three years out of the convenience of the location for me. This isn’t even worth it and I don’t know why I’ve continued going for so long. Some of the pharmacy techs are pleasant but most are incredibly rude. Over half of the time I go, they say they have no prescriptions for me until I show them the text alerts I get. Also two times they have returned my medicine before the time allotted. Then they tell me I’ll have to come back tomorrow. Don’t even bother asking to consult a pharmacist. She either will tell you to look through the aisles yourself, not even look up at you when speaking, or give you very snarky comments. I’ve felt uncomfortable just listening to how she has spoken to customers.

I am going to give them a two star rating. One, because the store wasn’t organized, with boxes of merchandise in the small aisle compared to the other cvs’s in the other neighborhoods. The pharmacy department was very unfriendly. The young pharmacist was on the phone with a customer when I stepped to the counter and the other pharmacist appeared to be ringing inventory. When the pharmacist hung up the phone, they visited among themselves about the previous call and ignored me for at least 5 minutes, when I finally said excuse me, he then stated to give them a minute, which I had already given but came over at that time.

Pathetic! Went in for passport photos. Mine was alright, but my son's was insanely blurry. They refused to retake the photo of my son because it "passed the checklist" that they use to say a picture is acceptable for TSA. Do a quick search on the TSAs standards-- and not even close! Went back to ask them to retake the photo. They refused to. So I was out all that money-- for a picture that is unusable. Went to staples and got all new photos-- same price! And they use an actual REAL camera, with professional lighting. Zero stars!! I want my money refunded.

This location has had its ups and downs lately but that is mostly due to staff issues since Jerry left in 2019, I gave them a bad review a few months ago before I realized that they have their hands tied and are doing the best they can. Hoping that now they have a 'regular' pharmacist this all will be cleared up. I have been using this location for 20+ years. The staff pharmacist, Ray, is doing a good job and deserves credit for working under difficult circumstances.

Jerry Wolfe is the best pharmacist I have ever met. He is the reason I go to CVS. Other pharmacies may be open more hours, or even may have slightly better prices, but they dont have Jerry. I have had to do business with a lot of pharmacists and I would be lying if I didnt admit that I check everything they tell me with medical specialists. I've worked with Jerry for over 20 years. He has never been wrong or steered me in a wrong direction.

I came into the pharmacy tonight and RJ , the pharmacist was working alone. The drive thru was closed do to the fact his help left at five. The line was probably 10 people waiting or picking up prescriptions. I work in retail and must say RJ was amazing, he stayed calm and had a smile for every customer. I would have been frantic and very anxious, yet he stayed calm and cool. He did an amazing job!! Great job, excellent customer service.

CVS 9550 allisonville rd. I had quit shopping here when the pharmacy was horrible about 5 years ago and the white guy up front at register did not want to ring people up just was lazy. BUT went back last week and I AM GLAD TO SAY STEPHON a guy and a lady named lisa were amazing. STEPHON is so proffisonal kind and nice and AMAZING.. LISA is very helpful , kind and patient with customers..THANK YOU STEPHON and LISA . I SEE YOU!

This pharmacy is HORRIBLE ! everytime I find myself getting my prescriptions here I have to give them my insurance information ALL THE TIME .... when they should have me in the system by now ! And it takes them about 30min to run it ! I always get calls stating my prescriptions are ready to pick up, I show up and end up waiting at least 40min to receive them ! They are soooo rude and don't care about customers at all !

ZERO STARS. Had a trip planned and needed a negative CoVid test within 48 hours of departure. Scheduled two weeks in advance and they cancel our appointments two days before it's due. This was not as frustrating as trying to talk to a human to see if it could be scheduled at another store. I was only able to speak to a remote call center. I will never go to CVS again for anything.

Had my doc send my prescription here because new the area was close to my new house. What kind of a pharmacy closes at 7? On top of that went to the doctor around 10 am out by 11 and my prescription was not filled until the next day. Barely pulled it together enough to get through work. Have never had that happen at any other location and will never be back to this one

Just horrible is the best way to describe it. Pharmacy hours are horrendous, most people work between 9am-7pm. Prescriptions are never ready, system issues all of the time. No one is ever on the same page. You call the pharmacy and get 3 different answers from 3 different people. I use this pharmacy because of the convenient location but won’t be anymore.

If front of store is to open at 8:00 am, If I show up at 10:00 am, I expect someone to be available at the front of the store. This was either 1/30 or 1/23. No weather issue. Thank you gentleman in the pharmacy, who was there at 10 as advertised, for promptly answering the phone. There were at least 5 other people who were waiting while I was there.

The entire pharmacy staff is very very rude!!!! The older short lady with grey short hair has been very rude everyone I take my mentally ill sister there to get her meds. She stared and gave dirty looks to her !!!!The manager was very defensive and rude as well . You all should work in an office if you don’t care about people !!!

Husband showed up for his appointment late after I called to make sure he could still come since he went to the wrong location by mistake he gets there in the time frame I was given for him to be there and now they refuse to see him . Extremely rude and unprofessional staff . Would never recommend here to anyone .

Most of the cashier's are nice and make good conversation, prices are okay. Not great but not bad. The staff in the medical section near the back are always great. And they play great music. They constantly have deals on candy and milk so I would recommend it be a stop before going to a movie.

It’s really not good customer service as a pharmacy to shut down for lunch and not take care of customers when you have disabled people that aren’t aware and have to wait a half hour before they get their medication because they don’t have a convenience I’m getting in the house all the time

I've been using this pharmacy for 3 years now and they've always been the most kind and helpful - the rest of the staff have been wonderful also, even in times where you can tell they're understaffed. This CVS is very good and does not deserve this odd low rating.

The guy that is there tonight June 11th is in need of customer service training and to be more personable. When my 5 year old who is excited about his toy and ask you about it... I need u to take 2 seconds, smile and acknowledge him.

The worst CVS location in the state. This is the third time we had to get our prescriptions sent to this location every single time it took forever to fill the medication, and good luck getting anybody on the phone.

Visited the MinuteClinic to make sure I didn’t have strep, pink eye and no wait, nurse was wonderful and got results quickly! If you are in a hurry, this is where you want to go for quick tests.
