Wow. Above and beyond. My move was on the eve of Christmas Eve, with a record -30 degrees cold and snow, but everything went smoothly and on time! Not only was this the most competitive quote I received, the move went so well I think I'll be going straight to them when I move again. From the start, Sam was patient and responsive with all my questions, and understood the whole stressful process of packing and moving. The move team of two was friendly, kind, and efficient - everything arrived intact and undamaged, with boxes put in the rooms I had labelled them in. I love that in addition to moving, they also have disposal and cleaning services - much easier to deal with all this at the same time! I had an old sofa frame that I disposed of with them too, but 3 days after the move, I realized I had forgotten to remove some parts from the frame that I needed to keep - Sam and his team checked that it had not yet been junked because of the holiday, and then removed the parts I had forgot and brought them to me. This was just so beyond anything I had expected! Also, the small gift at the end of the move they gave me was really cute and was a bright spot at the end of a very long moving day! Thank you Sam and team! Edit: Just used Cactus Cleaning for the move-out clean for the interior; very glad I went with them for this too! Very detailed work, bathrooms were *spotless* by the time they finished with them, the cleaning crew did a fantastic job and made sure they spent the time to get it right. 10/10 would recommend. Being able to do the moving and cleaning with the same place also made it all so much easier!

I hired Cactus Moving a few weeks ago for my long distance move (3 hours away from Calgary). They were the best priced and friendliest and I liked the reviews that I read about them, the thing I liked about them is the offered a flat fee for the travel part and the hourly prices for the labor part were fair. Booking was seemless they answered every question I had, they guaranteed me a same day delivery which was a big thing for me. The morning of they showed up on time. Mitch, Carlos and one other guy (I apologize I can’t remember his name) came to do the loading. They wrapped everything that needed to be wrapped and it did take a bit longer than quoted to load they still worked fast and were very careful with everything. Once at the new location they arrived in decent timing. Mitch and Carlos came to do the unloading. I could tell they were getting tired it was late and there was a thunderstorm at one point to but they were amazing still fast and careful. My kids were very curious about everything and they were so pleasant with them. As it was a long distance move and not just a small space move we spent the whole day with them minus when travelling and they took the stress out of moving day away. As I’ve been unpacking the last few weeks nothing was broken in the move, everything arrived safely and in one piece. I would 100% recommend this company. My kid’s favourite part of it all was the cactus we got at the end of the day, that was a nice touch.

We had an amazing experience with Cactus. The entire process starting from the booking to final move was smooth and seamless. We changed the date and time a few times and James was most accommodating and prompt with all our requests. On moving day, our movers Vlad and Elgiz did a tremendous job. They kept us well informed about a delay to start. Furthermore, they arranged all our stuff very professionally and efficiently which saved us the time and cost a second trip. It took then just about 4 hours door to door for a 2-bed which exceeds our expectations. Thanks to Vlad & Elgiz for easing our move. Cactus team, I am definitely coming back for my next move.

I have had the privilege to have the men from Cactus moving 3 times in a year! Every time I call I’m greeted like an old friend. Having some glitches with this last move caused me to make last minute changes…this is where Cactus particularly shines. They were able to meet my needs and all with smiles and compassion. To say my experience with Cactus Moving exceeded my expectations is an understatement. Nolan, Mo, and another gentlemen (whose name I forgot! I’m so sorry!) worked expeditiously to both load and offload my boxes and items. They even helped pack a few items I was unable to do myself, dismantled my bed frame, and put it back together for me. I was expecting that I’d need to ask a friend to help with that, so I was pleasantly surprised and extremely grateful they were willing to help with that. I will be enlisting the services of Cactus Moving for all my future moving needs, and I’d strongly recommend that anyone reading this review to do the same!

These guys gave me a 9am appointment and they were there at 9 am sharp! My fault for misjudging the amount of stuff I had so we had a 14 hour moving day. But throughout the 14 hours the 2 guys were pleasant, smiling and running. I was dead in my feet but they were still moving quickly and efficiently. I highly highly recommend them. And also recommend getting a handle on how much stuff you have to get the right size truck and proper number of movers.

Cactus moving is by far the best moving company I have ever used. I hired them to come and help me move a few things in my home as we had just completed a renovation. 2 people were sent out and they were both amazing. The cutest little bonus at the end was then leaving us with a little cactus. I will most definitely use this company again, and I would recommend them to everyone.

I had an excellent experience with these folks. I had purchased a large item second-hand and had to have it picked up, transported and delivered into my basement. They arrived on time, wrapped the item in poly, delivered it to my home and got it set up where I wanted. No wall dents, floor mats down wherever they would walk. And I got a baby cactus when the job was complete!

Friendly movers, quick and efficient, protected all my furniture and handled with care. Managed through the move even thought they couldn’t get a spot right in front. No complaints and worked fast. We have a large move with Cactus Moving. Two trucks full from top to bottom. Roma, Yarik Nolan and Andrei were all hard workers and work efficiently. Move took longer than I planned but that was because we had so much stuff. Would use them again and would recommend them to use.
