I have been coming to this cafe regularly about 3-4 times a week for 5 years now. On Friday I was told by the owner he no longer does breakfast due to no cook available so I just got coffee which he gave me reluctantly. No chocolate on the side as it normally comes with chocolate. Then I noticed the people at next table eating breakfast! I will not be coming back here again! Is that what he thinks about regular customers really?? I have never felt so unwelcome anywhere!

If you are looking for one of those cool and hip cafes then, unfortunately, this isn't one of those. However, that doesn't mean that it is a bad cafe, it is actually not too bad. I ended up having breakfast here, something that the many workers in the area probably do on a daily basis. In a way, it is more one of those cafes for people that simply rush in, grab a roll and a coffee, and leave, as opposed to someone like me who likes to sit down and relax.

The best coffee, food and customer service....5 ....Charbel will cater you with his best service and fresh food. If you are a food lover and would like to drink the best coffee...then this cafe is the go to cafe. You also get the chance to drink coffee served in his finest gift mugs that his fan customers gifted him....AMAZING service ❤️

Great little cafe with the friendliest owner. The dishes are a level above the surrounding cafes (check out my cheese and tomato toasty). He also makes a great coffee.

Today I only had a coffee but I have eaten here before and it was lovely. The owner really is nice and genuinely cares. The prices are quite reasonable and we were gifted 2 free chocolates to go with our coffee. They also had a range of takeaway options. The owner should be very proud of what he has achieved. Would recommend

Nice little café with very good deals and yummy food, i love the oregano with vegetables and the scrambled eggs, Coffee is delicious best in Ashfield, service always with a smile and I love the music played all the times. Highly recommended

I have been coming to Cafe D’amour for almost 7 years now since I was in highschool as it was directly on my route to school! It feels like a second home, the best coffee I’ve ever had in my life, amazing service from the amazing Charbel. Prices are so affordable and fair. I wish it was open on weekends I would be there all day :))

Just dropped into this place and found the service to be friendly and welcoming and the coffee was good. I you like your coffee strong I suggest another shot. This is more a place to grab and go or just a quick coffee and meal.

My Local and long overdue to review! I've been coming to D'amour for 3 years and love the coffee and community feel. Customers become friends and plenty of good banter to be had! I definitely recommend trying if you have just moved to the area... or if you haven't, you have been missing out!

I have just discovered this place and becoming one of the fav places for coffee. As a barista i can say that, their coffee beans are quite tasty and quality. And the owner and staff are also so welcomed to people. Good job.
