My wife and I recently relocated to Gauteng from KZN and were made aware of the higher cost of living as compared to KZN. Our vehicle service mileage become due and after many comparative quote request calls to various garages we selected Car Service City Rivonia branch as being the service garage of choice. The staff at the branch made us feel very special and explained what the service would entail in detail making us comfortable with leaving our car in their hands. PJ explained in detail what would be done in the service process especially as we had to have the air-con repaired. He said he would investigate the problem and telephone us with a solution once known. This was done and he said if we agreed he would repair the air-con at the same time. PJ very kindly offered to drop us at home and arranged to collect us when the car service and repair was completed. I would recommend Car Service City Rivonia branch as a service garage of choice and will be using them again for other work I will need for my vehicle to be done at a later date.

I'm absolutely amazed at the work done here... AMAZED. My baby drives like new again . THE absolute best. The friendliest of service and mostly your car will thank you for it. My car hadn't been picking up speed properly for years now and will normally give me a "service vehicle soon" alert when it started sagging. Even a day after service, and had a squicky sound on a full right turn. In 1 take PJ and Team @carservicecity resolved these. Williams Hunt Centurion couldn't resolve this in over 2-3 years of visits, complaining about the same things every time, mainly after serving my car. They even replaced the turbo. Still. And 1 visit to Williams Hunt Midrand was enough to put me off for a thousand lifetimes. the worst part was the service I got from their manager in Midrand was amazingly horrible. I have never been this happy for my car to be off warranty because this never would have been resolved.

Payed 20k for my gearbox to be repaired on my nb Mazda mx5. After leaving my car there for weeks nothing was done and the shop manger at the time ran away with my 20k. The owners told me that they will cover repair costs of my car I called to hear where my car is they said it is at another shop I said where and why I wasn’t informed that they drove my car elsewhere and what the shops name is. My car was at a dodgy shop in the middle of johburg cbd . When I got the car back the gearbox was still not going into gear properly and was making clunky sounds with shifting . In the boot there was grass and an empty 2 litre petrol bottle, trunk smelt like petrol like my car had been used to transport a lawnmower. Had to pay a gearbox specialist to repair it never got a refund. This happened in 2018 but judging from the other reviews nothing has changed please take your car somewhere else!

I am a repeat customer of this branch as the staff give great service but was really disappointed today when I collected my vehicle. It was dirty n full of grease n chips on my bonnet that a relative of the owner insists was there when I brought my vehicle in but is not on the inspection check list. It's a pity as I always receive great service from the staff n a clean vehicle back but the owners relative was not friendly or helpful at all. They attempted to wipe off the grease when I complained but I think I left with a more filthy vehicle than when I got there n they advised they took it to the car wash. Really disappointing experience today. N not because of the staff but more the owners or their relative I should say. No I am suppose to be taking it back next month to complete some work. I dont think I want to now.

I went to CSC Rivonia because my car was overheating. After 4 days, I was told the car was ready for collection. I went to fetch the car and drove around a bit to test it out. The next day, en route a 400km+ journey, the car started overheating again and all the anti-freeze that I was charged R600 for, came out. Had to call a tow truck, get a new mechanic and book overnight accommodation because it turns out almost all overheating issues result in damaged thermostats...but why didnt CSC pick this up? It's sad that as a woman, I am taken advantage of, grossly overcharged and not even given the proper service I deserve. That car could've stopped at night because I travel often...and in this country, we all know how that story might have ended!

I took the car for service, and had the shock of my life. I got there on time, only left 40minutes after. So unprofessional. I had to call myself to get an authorization for service quotation to be sent, the lady at reception didn't even send an email as instructed, someone else even got assisted and left before me. I had to do a follow up if they called, my car was not even in for service by 12, the gear cover was changed and my volume buttons were no longer in the car when I took my car back, no call communication, I had to be the one to call. The manager kept apologizing after I decided I was gatvol with their horrible service and went to take my car.

My vehicle was booked in for a major service. The vehicle is performing far better then when i send it to Bosch Paulshof. However their admin can be improved as details on my invoice such as oil grade was incorrect. I hope it was an error but the vehicle is performing beautifully. Whilst the service was cheaper then the competitors when additional work was required I feel that they used this opportunity to charge somewhat higher then expected and for this reason and the poor administration I rate them a 3 star. Mechanical work I cannot fault as the car is running so so well. Thank you car service city.

I previously needed a new battery couldbt start the car to drive anywhere.so I asked them to come out and look at. I live not even 5min away from the work shop and the charged me R570 call out fee for a radius of not even 5km.. its absolutely disgrace and a rip off off note I will definitely not call them or use them again.. the 2 guys who came thru were both disrespectful and when I told them what was going the looked at me as if I was talk nonsense. They were so rude. The one guy didnt know what was going on. Never have a seen or had such bad workmanship like this in my life..

We dropped my brothers car on teusday . they stripped the car to find fault, could not find the fault and then said it was the computer box wich is fine and wanted to charge R19000 TO SORT IT OUT. We said no and said we would collect it next day , apon ariving to collect car they had not put it back together as aranged and parts including the computer box was missing. Long story short im left trying to get box back and paid R750 for them doing nothing. Wont advise this place to anybody

Took in my car for a major service, the staff were friendly and helpful. They did a good job with the car, it runs well after the service. The only improvment would be their communication as i did not get any calls through the day informing me of the progress or what else needs to be done after the checks. Nevertheless good service from the staff and they are always willing to help out, would definetely recommend as they are affordable and use quality parts

The worst service I have ever seen in the whole of Sandton took my car there for smoking they removed the engine and I was told they going to service it wow it took them 6 full weeks with stories at the end of the day they stole some parts put the old ones from their store as I am here my engine is not working at all I have to spend more money to fix my car after their damage yet I paid them I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Most shocking customer service I have ever received!!! My car was serviced and now has been back more times than I care to count. Zero communication from anyone unless I phone them. Promises to fix it and then nothing happens. I have asked numerous times for the owner to phone me and I am still waiting for him to contact me. 1 star review is 1 star too many

DO NOT GO HERE. Tried to charge me double for generic parts (8k vs 3k). Avoided calls and lied to me about where the parts came from. Finally when I went to get my car THEY HAD DAMAGED THE FRONT and tried to deny it was them - the pre service inspection proved it was them. Supervisor and receptionist were very friendly but the place is a SCAM. Stay away.

On Saturday morning our car misfired badly and we drove to CDC. We were treated warmly and helped immediately. They made such an effort for us. Replaced the spark plugs quick quick and charged us only for half an hour labour. What an amazing place with super amazing service. Thanks guys. We will definitely be back and recommend you always.

Such incredible service from PJ and team. Took our Honda in for a service, and I must say, we have found our new servicing Centre. PJ really has a passion for producing good quality work, and ever so friendly. Kelly was curtious and efficient in handling all the admin for the car servicing and repairs that had to be done thereafter.

They were able to identify and repair a problem with my brakes and my car leaking brake fluid. It turned out to be rear brake cylinders that needed to be replaced. Everything was done in 1.5 hours. They even made a space for me with out an appointment. They have also identified and help schedule other less urgent problems.

After the service I found out that I was overcharged for changing brakes and skimming discs. I was charged R6000 vs R2500 from a brake specialist. Furthermore check that they give you prices with VAT and on paper or text otherwise you get a nasty surprise when you pay the bill. Overall I won't be using them again.

Friendly and efficient staff. The part for my car arrived when promised, and my car was repaired within the promised time. Apart from this, my car was taken for wheel alignment (all that was charged for was the wheel alignment - no charge for taking it there) It was washed & test driven. I am delighted!!
