After ten years going to Caroline Springs Veterinary Hospital for my dog, I will never return. My dog has been on anxiety medication and they refused to help me. I followed the usual process of ringing when I needed more medication and then was returned a call and voicemail stating it was ready. When I went in to pick it up, I had to wait 20 minutes for the receptionist to come back stating I would not be given any further medication and I needed to book in to see a behaviour specialist which I know was not the case as they jusy wanted my money. Why had the circumstances changed? Since when was there new processes involved? How could I have a voicemail stating they had the medicine indicating they wanted to help but really they didnt? Is this Vet making up the rules as they go? It sure felt like it. It was not about the care or wellbeing for my beloved dog. I was treated poorly and felt like a complete inconvenience when they were the ones who had inconvenienced me. I waited there on my day off work with my toddler. There has been many red flags over the last 2 years but this was it. No one wanted to help me and my dog has suffered from this. Her health has deteriorated and I am so happy we could go to another local vet and get the support and care my dog needed instantly with no questions asked and for half the price. I could see a standard vet not a specialist for the support and care my dog needed. Absolute liars. I will be taking this further. Please think carefully if considering taking your beloved pet here. Look elsewhere as there are other fantastic vets who can care, support and nurture your pets the way they deserve. All the best Caroline Springs Veterinary Hospital.

Being a first time customer, I was instantly impressed with the reviews that I read prior to making my appointment. This all changed when I bought in my beagle who had a large abscess under her chin. As any fur parent would be, I was already anxious about making sure she was okay. I was attended to by Virginia, one of the vets here. She was 25 minutes late to the appointment which I completely understand, however an apology would have gone a long way. Upon entering the consult room, she did not introduce herself, and jumped straight in to asking me questions about my fur baby. She spoke to my dog like I wasn’t in the room, and when she did speak to me, her tone was cold, condescending, and rude. Every other vet I have ever seen, has always been warm and compassionate, which was a stark contrast to what I endured. Once the consult was over and it was determined that my dog would be having surgery that day, I followed the vet out of the room, being unsure as to whether to follow her or not. She abruptly turned around and said that I would be contacted when my dog was out of surgery. I left the clinic in tears, obviously already being stressed and anxious about my poor pup, and this was not in the slightest bit, the level of compassion and customer service I was expecting. Everyone else I dealt with in the clinic were absolutely lovely, which is the reason why I’m giving two stars instead of 0. Not usually one to leave a google review, but after this experience, I felt it was justified.

I rarely leave reviews, but this is 100% appropriate. This is the only vet clinic I feel confident that my cat is getting the best care. I’ve taken him to many different vets and never felt satisfied that my pet was in their best interest — until I discovered Caroline Springs Vet Clinic. One experience with them I will never forget is when my cat developed a urinary blockage, which is fatal if untreated. I had scheduled a booking, but they considered it an emergency and managed to squeeze me in ASAP. There, vet Ebony reassured me and explained to me my options, doing everything she could to comfort and relieve my cat. She managed to clear the blockage with the assistance of another nurse and we were able to go home with a supply of medication and he recovered! Ebony then called me after hours to check-up on my cat, which is so rare and kind. On another occasion I unfortunately had to visit another clinic as they were booked (understandably, they’re a fantastic clinic) and the receptionist (Amanda I believe?) called me at closing to see if I’d managed to find another clinic and ask how my cat Monkey was doing. That’s absolutely amazing and made me emotional. I’m so thankful to all the staff.

We have 2 chihuahuas who don’t like to be touched by strangers. They’re 8yo - 1 is very cautious & not trusting of people and the other is a needy baby So vet visits are usually the worst day of the year for them and for us! This was our first time to Caroline Springs Veterinary Hospital and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them This is the first time that I felt completely peaceful and comfortable with handing our 2 chihuahuas over to the vet for their vaccine and checkup. (Due to covid we were to wait in the carpark - the vet came out to see us and meet our boys and took them in 1 at a time). I was so surprised that they went in with no hesitation, normally they can smell the “vet” a mile away! We had Dr Michelle Gray who I can’t recommend highly enough. She has a very calming compassionate nature and good peaceful energy about her, which our boys could definitely sense, hence why they went in with no hesitation. Pico came out wagging his tail like nothing had happened, and Romeo didn’t come out panting as he normally does after vet visits Great customer service, friendly staff & receptionist, they communicated clearly what we were to expect and reasonably priced as well.

We have had to take our pup, Milo, here multiple times over the last couple of months. The nurses that take our calls have always displayed empathetic, loving and caring natures and have always been reassuring in times of stress and have worked so hard to fit us in, when triaged, as necessary to do so, with the utmost professional manner. The main vet that we have worked with is Grace. She is such a hard worker and she is so good at what she does. If there are animals to see, she will even do overtime to make sure that their needs are attended to and she deserves a lot of credit for this. She is very thorough, commited and always answers the multitude amounts of questions I ask for our baby boy (and as a paramedic myself, I ask A LOT of medical questions!) I have also noticed that if the workload is overwhelming (especially these days with COVID) that the vets will share the load amongst eachother to ensure everyone is attended to. Great team work! In conclusion, they really are a lovely and caring bunch and I can tell, as a collective, that they love animals. I would definitely recommend this A team. Keep up the great work and thank you for all that you do guys!

A little disappointed with the service to be honest. I’d been here once before for behavioural assessment/work and Marika was great. Almost two months ago I went to them with a limping dog, and after an initial $150 consult/meds, we returned again for a further $125 worth of medication. He continued to limp, with only minor improvement (assume less pain due to meds). First Vet diagnosed paw/pad and the second Vet said shoulder movement?! When meds didn’t work, I was told next step was a $560 for an x-ray of the full leg to determine what was wrong, and then we’d look at possible solutions following the X-ray. Well, after sending an email and hearing nothing back, I went and found another Vet for a second opinion, paid $100 for consult/X-ray to diagnose glass from in his paw. Subsequent surgery went well, and he is now limp-free! Am still yet to receive any email from Caroline Springs Vet on the $275 initial consult/meds that were of no use? Anyhow, saved myself $460 it seems on the X-ray which covered the surgery and subsequent medication during his healing.

I believe I have already reviewed Caroline Springs Veterinarian Hospital, though I don't mind doing it again. These guys are awesome they care and I don't say this lightly. We (as in Daisy my Bull Masstiff and I)have had to see them recently and urgently. Marika, my veterinarian, she took my call personally asked some questions and found us an appointment with her so as we could see her as soon as possible. Then she followed up with a call later in the week to see how Daisy was progressing. Daisy was doing okay when she called but after the weekend she took a step backwards and we had to call again. Marika was away and wouldn't be back for about 4 - 5 days so I was asked a few questions and was told a vet would ring me back, they did and we talked and booked an appointment ASAP we were treated so well both times and all the phone conversations. I can't talk this Veterinary Hospital up anymore than I have. They care about you and your family pet. If you're looking for a new one try them they offer so much more than just Veterinary care.

Highly recommend. They are so friendly and the vets are so compassionate and animal lovers. I took my puppy for his second vaccination and the check up for him while we were there was so thorough. She took me through everything she was checking and why. She asked me a lot of questions such as what I’m feeding him, what I’m worming him with, when he was last treated for worming, and then if I had any concerns. After the check up she felt comfortable giving him his vaccination. I also left there with a puppy pack and a free worming sample as the one I was using didn’t cover all parasites. Excellent vet. I wasn’t just a number and although they’re a little more pricey than other vets in the area, you get what you pay for. I went to a cheaper vet and the service at Caroline Springs was worth paying the extra.

It can be so overwhelming as a pet parent sometimes not knowing what is wrong with your fur babies and further more not knowing the best treatment plan. Both Dr. Tim and Dr. Grace are EXCEPTIONAL vets. They are kind, clear and highly empathetic, always putting me at ease knowing my fur babies were in good hands. I can see how busy they are each time we visit yet I never feel the service is compromised. I wish they were my Doctors! The reception desk and nurses are also the best I have experienced. Again kind, friendly, patient and very responsive. Calling me with regular updates for day visits and scheduling appointments like absolute wizards. Thank you for all you do, it doesn't go unnoticed and you are changing lives every day. Thanks a bunch Sophie and Nashi!!

We attempted to vaccinate our dog at this clinic, however it was a fail. The doctor that was w us was very understandable regarding his anxiety, the little “quirks” about him & attempted to vaccinate him SLOWLY by giving my baby treatos - again because she knew what she was dealing with and wanted to make his vet experience a positive one. However she didn’t go thru w it bc my dog did not like it, she did in fact apologised and STILL tried to compromise w me to get his vaccination & desex done at a later, suitable time. Including, gave me tips on how to reduce some of his unwanted behaviour & medication. 4 stars for the lady that was extremely empathetic, gentle, & patient w me (because I was stressed out taking him, her being kind helped me stay calm for him).

I would like to start by saying thank you to the lovely Marika. From the moment my precious little Mia was a pup, we had been seeing her and dealt with her for every little thing that Mia and I needed. Marika was so supportive and provided me and Mia with so much love and care, it is nice to see the compassion she has about our fur babies and I am forever grateful for all you did for us. It is sad for me to say but my little princess did have to be put down after fighting a very rare disease, it broke my heart to have to say goodbye, but it touched my heart to see how involved and sincere Marika was. Coming home today to a beautiful bunch of sunflowers brightened my day and only made me more grateful knowing I had the support I did through Mia's journey.

I adopted my beautiful fur baby Roxi in February. As she is a rescue, we don't know a lot about her history so learning more about her day by day. Her ears starting to cause her much discomfort so decided to book her in for a check up. Due to COVID-19 there are social distancing measures in place. The care Roxi was given was so genuine and sincere. My friend Jess who works there is so passionate about animal welfare so I knew Roxi is in good hands. Roxi had reached her goal weight and in overall good health which was such a relief. We are now in touch with a behaviour specialist as she needs some help. I won't hesitate to come back to ensure Roxi receives ongoing care from this clinic. The staff are amazing!

Our dog Ralphie (15 year old labrador) had been a regular patient at Caroline Springs vet for around 5 years. The staff and service has always been great. On Friday night, due to old age, Ralphie's health had declined. We had booked for an appointment for Saturday morning as they were fully booked, but upon calling again they kindly slotted us in on Friday night as he was in a lot of pain. To cut a long story short, they waited patiently until my sister had arrived to go through with the procedure of putting our Ralphie to sleep. The staff were amazing. A special thank you to Dr Chan and the vet nurse whose name I didn't get unfortunately.

  • Loralee Fernandez

This Vet is the most outstanding Veterinary that you will ever experience. The service levels are beyond comprehension. I have been going there for 10 years and they never cease to amaze me. Unfortunately, I was unable to come and get my dog's medication which was important for a test he was having the next day – I get a phone call from you telling me that Dr Tim will be dropping it off to my home – we were BLOWN away but this, we thought true caring service was gone but you have completely overwhelmed us. Dr Cally is excellent and Bridget is brilliant with her following up - this is the only Vet you want to take your beloved pet to

  • Amy

I’ve been taking my two beautiful dogs to Caroline springs vet for quite a while now and I honestly can’t say a bad word about this place. The receptionist, the veterinarians are all lovely and so welcoming. I lost my beautiful boxer Jake just over two weeks ago now and Caroline Springs Vet have been so supportive and caring through it all. Jake had most of them in tears when they heard the news of his passing. That’s the kind of people they are... Caring and understanding. Never had a bad experience and will definitely be continuing taking my pets to see the team. Highly recommend this place for your much loved pets.

  • Lucifer Wheeler

A decent clinic they always have a spot for emergencies at a cost which is ok. What I do not understand is the constant wanting to run tests and give injections to my dog which are not needed. I myself as a concerned dog owner trusted them fully and paid the absurd fees, but whatever right they need to do these tests for the welfare of my dog. Wrong, after not wanting my dog to get an X-Ray the fourth time, I decided to take him to the Vet hospital in Essendon fields. And what do you know, neither did he need any x-rays or injections. Just a simple change in diet. They love making their money here.

  • Louise B

The staff here are really friendly and appeared to be taking great care of my beagle. He was diagnosed with arthritis without x rays and put on a 3 week pain management plan. Our beautiful dog quickly deteriorated and we ended up having to take him to an emergency vet.. they immediately diagnosed him with cancer (his entire body was riddled) and we had to put him down. He was in so much pain and ended up dying alone due to pet hospital covid restrictions… and all of this could have been avoided if he had been checked properly by the Caroline springs vet

  • Cynthia Raici

Great Clinic with such lovely and caring staff! My cat is not the best with strangers, but the doctors were very understanding and patient when dealing with my anxious kitty. She ended up having a broken tooth - they were quick & thorough with her diagnosis, and were even able to fit her in for surgery the next day. Thank you to Tim & Virginia for their outstanding care. She's already eating enthusiastically again! The Feliway in each room was also a lovely touch for anxious kitties ❤️

  • John Orriss

Been sending our English bulldog here for over two years now. We pass three closer vet clinics, that's how happy I am with the care and service. They really care and that's what's important, not if you had to wait an extra 5min at reception. I've read some of the negative reviews and while they can hold some merit, these are animals, they can't talk and tell the vet their problems. Vets aren't mind readers. We will be moving to Truganina soon but will still continue to come here.

  • Cristina Velardo

My dog Lenny is quite particular and I love that the vets all take the time to understand him and give him the best care possible. Dr Cally has been fantastic with Lenny (and me). She takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer any questions or concerns. I have never felt so confident or comfortable leaving my dog at the vet before. Lenny now has sparkling teeth and a vet for life. Thank you to all the team at Caroline Springs Vet, you have all been fantastic.

  • Jess Louise

Absolutely amazing Vet! Kind and helpful Veterinarians and staff. My 12 year old American Staffy fought a long battle with Lymphoma Cancer and in her last few weeks she was provided the up most care and love from Caroline Springs Vet. A special Thank You to Dr Michelle Grey - she was by our side right up to the last second, providing so much care and compassion to Jazz, myself and my family. Thank you Caroline Springs Vet team, I am forever appreciative for all the support.

  • Vanessa Baines

Very disappointed with the lack of compassion empathy and service received from Caroline Springs Vet. I rang this vet on a Wednesday morning about 1 month ago distressed as our 1 year old dog was having multiple seizures to be told sorry we are booked out today you need to take your dog to a Vet hospital like Essendon fields. Our dog passed away the same day. Would never recommend this vet or take further pets here for any sort of care or treatment!

  • Alina Timofte

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the staff at Caroline Springs vet hospital for their efficiency and compassion whilst looking after my cat, especially after being bitten by a snake. Thanks to their quick actions my baby had successfully been administered the anti venom and allowed him to have a full recovery!! Thank you for the regular calls and updates during the entire process. Best wishes for 2019

Hi After years at Bacchus Marsh Vet, wrong diagnosis constantly, advised to see CS vet Hospital. Now I know, what a Vet should be like. Informative, caring, take their time explaining. Marika a Treasure, as are other Vets & Reception staff. No overcrowding in Reception area, seen to very quickly, I can’t speak Highly enough. Thank You for Looking after our Charlie so well, exceptional

  • Alexis Nguyen

My dog has been attending regularly for a couple of years. Today was the first time I took him. So friendly and professional and very well organised in the face of the pandemic. King is an ageing dog with lots of arthritis. We have a great treatment plan now and excellent meal plans and I am looking forward to when Dr Marika returns from leave so he can have some chiro and acupuncture. Prices are reasonable too.

  • Melissa Kovacs

I have been coming to this place for the last 13+ years and have NEVER been disappointed! The staff are ALWAYS very positive, welcoming and extremely sensitive to each persons/animals needs! I have also recommended my particular veterinarian for an anxious pet which was very well received by the owner! I have total comfort in this practice and their diagnosis…. Such professionalism and follow up are priceless…

  • K T

All the staff has been amazing and everyone was so patient, calm and knowledgeable. I cannot rate them high enough. Massive shout out to Virginia who stitched up my dog and Emily who was in charge of our after care. Two vets who I could not speak more highly of. Virginia was so lovely when we had to pick up Chanel after her surgery and Emily who has been nothing short of amazing. Thank you both so much

  • Catherine Wheldon

I have taken my pets to this Vet since last year when i had to get my beautiful 17 year old cat "Possum" to sleep. The staff were very caring and nurturing to myself and my 3 kids. They let us stay with her and hold her and gave us plenty of time to say goodbye. With our new kitten they aslo have been amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else now. I love the staff, they are amazing and extremely helpful.

  • Mindy Pye

Great service here with vetpay options. They've been very thorough with our very nervous medium-sized dog, special needs cat, and chunky cat. They listen to us, offer options and discuss treatment openly. Having had to experience several traumatic vet visits previously at other places, this very takes our needs into consideration and are very gentle with our family furries And us as their owners.

  • Derek Dinh

Absolutely love the place and all staff, they’re doing an amazing job every day for the lovely pets. Our beautiful Mona spent her last few days of her time with on Earth in the care here and we couldn’t thank the staff more for everything they have done for Mona and us, during, and after care. Just received flowers staff sent to us and Mona today. Sending you all a big THANK YOU ❤️

  • Morgan O'Toole

The team at Caroline Springs Vet Hospital are one of a kind. They treat pets and owners alike like no other Vet I've known before. I always feel so comfortable (or as comfortable as possible) leaving my cat with them as I know he'll be looked after. On several occasions the team have followed up days later to check in on our boy and ensure he's doing well, it's always much appreciated.

  • Na7al1 Da Moose

We love Caroline Springs vet clinic - they are attentive, patient and incredibly thorough. Our boxer and Great Dane love seeing Dr Grace who is always smiling and is ever impressive with just how much she knows! Special mention to vet nurse Mel who is an absolute sweetheart - I am so appreciative of all the staff do for us! I would never go to another vet. Keep up the amazing work!

We also did a puppy school with Kerryn and it was great.. both my little fur bub and I enjoyed it a lot! Lovely people all around who will take excellent care of your furry friends

  • Leah Doyle

The staff go above and beyond with making you feel so comfortable whilst visiting the clinic. The nursing team are always happy to answer all my silly questions and schedule me in when I’m worried. Thankyou from all the cats and doggos

  • Glenda Collins

Our puppy needed heart surgery. The support and advice of all of the staff helped us get through a tough time. They referred us to a hospital for the surgery and they have been monitoring her health since. Their caring and compassionate nature have been wonderful during the tough times with our pets. Highly recommend them and the puppy school run there.

  • Angie Gamboa

Very easy to communicate with the workers there, they really care about your pet. Even with this COVID-19 situation they are able to throughly check your dog and diagnose what your dog may have and give you a solution. I felt like my dog was in good hands, feeling confident that the workers are honest and really care about your dog's health.

  • Erin K

I visited Caroline Springs Vet today to help my Mum with her sick dog. I was impressed by the very compassionate and thoughtful staff who work there. We had a private consult room which gave us some much needed peace. Grace explained everything and was thorough and kind. I would recommend this clinic based on my experience today.

  • Selina Huynh

We have been going here for years, we usually only stick to Dr Grace and Dr Cally for my two Samoyeds. The two vet are amazing I couldn't recommend them enough. Also front desk staff are always nice and welcoming, face to face and also over the phone. Highly recommend Caroline Springs vet clinic for all your pet services.

  • Elly Buttacavoli

Honestly they are all so amazing. My boxer is super anxious at the vets and can be a handful and I’m an anxious dog mum who is constantly calling that can also be a handful they have always been so helpful in every dealing with them, they truly care about the fur babies and I really recommend them to any dog owners …

We receive the highest quality care for our 3 pugs from the Caroline Springs Veterinary Hospital. We couldn’t ask for more caring, professional and knowledgeable vets who have the best interests of our pets as their highest priority. I highly recommend Caroline Springs Veterinary Hospital for the best care for your pets.

  • Aaron Govell

Great service, kind and helpful staff, positive vibe however the puppy school needs a new trainer. The trainer is too biased, she excluded me and my German Shepard pup from the training program because he was too excited. So she sent us outside repeatedly so she can focus on other dogs rather than help me control my dog.

  • Stephon Xiradakis

My dog needed urgent care after tumbling down the stairs and twisting your nail. Was in massive pain, heart beating and panting heavily. Rang the clinic and took her in immediately. She stayed overnight and procedure performed the following morning. They took great care of my dog. Great service! Thank you so much!!

  • Wayne Mangion

Great vet clinic, we have taken our Labrador puppy here a few times for check ups and when ill. Whenever in doubt, we call up the clinic with questions and they are always so friendly and helpful. They always follow up after appointments to make sure your fur baby is feeling okay. Thank you! :)

  • K R

Great service. Staff are polite and friendly. Vets take the time to thoroughly explain your pets diagnosis, medical requirements, alternative measures and ensure you fully understand before you leave. Cost wise, vets are costly thats a given but its a quality service that's why i return.

  • Beverley McCracken

Yesterday Emma and I said a tearful goodbye to our darling dog Harry. He died peacefully in my arms. I cannot thank the staff enough for the wonderful care and attention they gave us during this sad and stressful time. They were caring and professional. Heartfelt thank you to you all.

  • amanda sculpher

In my experience, when I have asked this clinic to explain poor service and errors, that's where the courtesy ends. Then it's no explanation, no call back, put on hold while I am speaking, and worst of all absolutely no empathy and never an apology. Where's the accountability.

  • Sharina Shahmann

My two dogs and cat have frequented the Caroline Springs Vet over the last few years. Always very happy with the vets and the nurses as they seem to genuinely care about their patients well-being. My husband and I feel very lucky that we have such a great vet clinic close by.

  • Matt E

The staff were very friendly and caring, you can tell they care about all the animals they treat. The cost was very reasonable compared to rates that other Vets charge.

  • Dave David
