If you lose a loved one ABSOLUTELY DO NOT go through this funeral home. These are just a few of the MANY reasons. Sent two ladies in a mini van to pick up my dads body. They couldn’t get his body into the van on their own and had to have family members help them. We had to watch my dads dead body bounce around and almost fall to the floor. Programs for my dads service had the wrong information on them. It wasn’t until a family brought it to our attention that we realized the information was incorrect. We designated one family member as a point of contact to make decisions. They allowed other people besides our point of contact to call and make changes. They told us to send flowers for his service to one location and they would transport it to the Grand Prairie location. They forgot and the flowers didn’t make it there until the very end of his viewing. They never ordered the death certificate. They said it would be 39 days and we called them and at first they said they never ordered it then they said they ordered it two weeks later. We just got it today after weeks after we were supposed to and even though we ordered multiple ones they only gave us one. Losing a loved one is so hard and this place made it even more difficult every step of the way. We couldn’t even mourn our father because kept having to fix their mistakes. This goes for this location and the Grand Prairie location. They are completely incompetent and should not be able to work/run a funeral home.

Employees were nice but too many mistakes were commited for my grandmothers service. The fort worth star telegram stated that my grandmother was going to be buried in Mexico when she was being buried locally. Then the memory cards were not given to family at the cemetery as I was told. I had to remind them to give them to me after the service and some family members that expected the cards werent able to get them. Flowers were misplaced and cd with pictures was lost. Overall okay experience the only reason I gave it 3 stars was because staff was nice but the mistakes that were made could have been avoided if I would of been paying more attentio. Although I don't think I should be when Im mourning the death of my grandmother. Disappointed in this well known funeral home.

Carrillo Funeral Home went above and beyond to help us out with my mom's viewing and funeral. It was such a hard loss and something so traumatic when your loose someone especially a parent. When we went to get pricing and get the viewing and funeral arrangements done they helped us and told us everything we need and more. It's been almost 5 months since my mom passed and they still check up on my family till this day! If you have a loved one pass away i highly recommend checking out Carrillo Funeral Homes! 5 star + from my family and I. Thank you all so much especially the receptionist Esmeralda for talking with me and Dr. Liz for checking up on us! Everything turned out so beautiful just the way our mom would have loved it!

Had the best experience with Carillos, my fathers funeral was handled with the upmost respect and the staff was so kind. During a time when I could barely handle the small things Valencia (she had me call her fiddle though which made it seem like family was handling the arrangements) made sure that everything was taken care of. I can not express enough gratitude to her or to this funeral home in making sure my dad Tony Cook was taken care of while he was being laid to rest.

Losing a family member is a very hard moment in our life's I lost my nephew and brother just four months aparte Carrillo Funeral Homes helped us with our funeral services very nice and helpful staff thank you Fidencia for helping my family with the funeral arrangements and also for following up to see how where doing God bless.

I could give a "NO STAR" if that would be allowed. This place is horrible!!! Never had we gone to a funeral, and be literally pushed out to accommodate another service. They have no class, and have plenty to learn from other funeral homes!
