It's one of the oldest cinemas in Dar. Their best Cinema is cinema 1. Cinema 2 and 3 are not as large but okay. Their sound systems are great. The cinema management is not strict on people using phones during movies expect people a number of users sitting in the cinema to sit and scroll through their social media with intense lights which can be quite annoying and disruptive. Expect to also get confused by the numbering on their chairs as some seats have random numbers that is quite annoying too. The cinema is also not strict on making sure age ratings are followed as you might find yourself watching some movie with strong adult content with kids in attendance. If management worked on some of these issues the cinema would be a better experience for movie goers. The seats need to be replaced/updated soon or later. They are no longer comfortable. If the cinema is to keep pace and remain the premier provider of movie content in Dar es salaam, it's high time they begin looking into some of the issues pointed out.

Best screen in Tanzania a very cosy place that i can suggest anyone visit. The place is well organized offering a variety of products such as video games playing, watching live football and a small restaurant. The customer care service is also superb i loved it no complains about it. The environment is also very convenient even for the disabled there's a lift for them to access. Also, the cinema is divided meaning on different occasion one movie can have normal viewers and V.I.P viewers, the prices are moderate so as any individual can afford them. so mainly I can suggest this place to anyone who wants to visit it.

For box office movies. This is the right place though they don’t show all latest movies on time. Cozy seats, best amazing sound, best video quality, 4K resolution for 2D & 3D movies. Stand by generators are not active. I experienced power cut 3 times but still my favorite place to watch movies . After movie they don’t wait for post credit / whole movie to finish they always turn on the lights, skip or cleaners interrupt. Snacks / drinks are expensive. Buy a combo coupon at the ticket counter are very fair. Affordable ticket price. Best deals are on Monday to Thursday (non public holidays).

The best of cinemas in Daressalaam. Offering all latest movies Hollywood and Bollywood. First week tickets usually cost from 10000tsh to 12000tsh. Apart from first week all Thursdays you get student offer for 5000tsh. If it's 3D better get your own glasses as you can't rent here. You have to buy for 5000tsh. Sometimes I don't really enjoy the sound quality and can't understand the heavy sounds as there seems to be a bass sound.

We went to watch a 3D movie, unfortunately the 3D did not work from the beginning and we had to wait 30 minutes to have it fixed. I recommend the staff not to play movies back to back in the same screen with just a 5 minutes break between each movie. But to double-check every time and give time to the projector to rest. This will prevent your projectors to get busted easily and will save you expenses.

this is one of the earliest cinemas from Century Cinemax, it is located at the mlimani city mall where everyone goes place that attracts trendy crowd especially on weekends, but since it is the oldest there some renovations need to be done so that the experience customers get here should be the one they get in Aura and also Mkuki Mall for the sake of having quality and good standards

One of few places in Dar Es Salaam, where you can watch movies. It’s within Mlimani City Mall. Is good for outing with loved one. Is a place you can watch latests movies. Adequate parking with full security. Varieties of ATM and mobile operators are within walking distance where you can access cash at anytime. In short is safe, secure and elegant place.

Milimani city Cinemax had a third-party event with DStv, but their website doesn't inform you of this.So me and my friends from multiple locations ended up wasting alot of money on transport to come here just for the manager to tell us it is not their fault, despite there not being a warning about this problem.

Great movies on show although they take a while to update their content. Also it'd be nice if people actually followed their seat numbers. I bought two seats on the same row just to find that people were already sitting on them and didn't see any other seats that were together, they should be strict about this.

They claim to have the largest screen yet in east africa... but sadly the humongous screen shows awful color fringe which ruined my experience. For a Filmophilia like myself that is the one thing i kept seing throughout the movie really killed my vibe. May be will give the place a 4 star rate when they fix it.

It was Good, for some reason I believe the sound was high though, I feel this every time I visit, but all in all the screen is huge, the experience was awesome, it can be challenging at times for some one to locate one's allocated seat, so I think the attendants should always be on the look out to assist.

The cinema is big and looks okay but it was slightly warmer inside than usual for a cinema luckily it wasn't full. Also the cinema had a weird strong smell inside that was difficult to get used to as If the seats were having mold or something luckily the movie I was watching was worth the pain inside.

It's is a leading Cinema/ Movie hall in Dar es Salaam situated alongside Sam Nujoma road just as you part to University of Dar es Salaam. A great center, great car parking too. The place is in the shopping mall there for you have quite go n' grab choices just in case you need something quick.

I’ve been going to this theater for about a year now. Movie quality is good. The service is ok. The prices sometimes change depending on the movie. There are some snacks for purchase. I’d love to see some nachos! They offer 3D movies which is great. I hope the screen quality improves some.

Sadly had not that good experience. We looked "The Monster Hunter" it should be in room 2 but we got moved to smaller room 3. The screen was realy blurry (you nearly couldn't read the text if something was written). The sound was waaay to loud (loud effects are not a quality feature).

Excellent value, especially for the 3d movies. They're the same price as regular movies if you keep a pair of glasses. The seating reservations and reserving using the app Otapp sometimes don't work very well. Nice to be able to see Hollywood hits in Tanzania.

The Aura mall Century cinemax is the best of all the 3 available, The Century cinemax in DFM and in Milimani city is not clean, smells bad in the theater and is lacking maintenance, perhaps if taken care of viewers can feel comfortable and enjoy the movie

The men's bathrooms are in a very bad state .... I was even scared to go for the risk of infection.... for the money we pay here for the movies, the least they can do is have proper bathroom. Popcorn and drinks at the movies are way too expensive....

Went to see Infinity war, was impressed with the new booking service for hadn't been there in years. Not so sure about the theatre though I think they need new improvements, All in all had a great time, Best in town for movie screenings. Recommended

The place is cozy with fancy areas and things like video games and big screen cinemas. It's the place you'll never regret visiting while in Dar es salaam. Don't get frustrated of a place to watch new released movies because it's the place.

All the latest movies shown here. The best Movie Theater in Tanzania. Wish they had more fun movie snacks though. And an app to book tickets online as sometimes movies are sold out and you cant know until you get there.

Beautiful, the place is amazing quite and a goo for a family outing. Watching kinda of movies with family or baby mama. Screen is big the sound is perfect, chair are comfortable. It hard to leave after a movie is over.

Becomes worse and more expensive I must say sadly. Went to watch bullet train 2022, they got rid of the combos on popcorns and soda, the seat are tone and smelly, numbers on cine 3 the whole row G aren't visible.

A bit dirty, but fine for a movie with the kids. Before our movie started there was a long screeching noise that went on for minutes with no intervention by staff. Otherwise, it's a pretty normal cinema.

The biggest cinema in East Africa! Very good service & management. They have changed some seats which is an improvement. Some seats are still the same, which needs to be replaced.

Theater was not clean. Pop Corn machine needed cleaning also. Went to see Avatar in 3D and the 5000tsh glasses did not work. So had to watch the movie in a blur.

It is easy to buy tickets ..you can even buy them through your phone...the air conditioner levels are optimal compared to other theaters ( too cold)
