Their prices are very inconsistent. They were recommended to me by a friend who ordered a cake for her child’s birthday. My friend bought a 2 layer cake for 60 people for $75 which seems like a good deal right? I go in asking for a cake for my child’s birthday last November 2018 and am quoted $185 for a 2 layer cake that serves 60. I asked why I was being charged so much when my friend paid half that and they said my cake had more detail (which it didn’t). We negotiated and were able to bring the price down by $65 a total of $120. The cake for my daughter came out fine, although I did have buyers remorse since I felt I was ripped off. Fast forward to today June 2019. I call to place an order for a simple one layer graduation cake for 50 people. They quote me for $150. I asked why am I being charged more for a smaller, simpler cake and tell them about my order from last November and I even offered to send them the receipt from that order. They told me even if I sent proof that I had order a bigger, more detailed cake that I paid less for, the price for the graduation cake would not change. I asked what we could do to lower the price of the cake and they said they could knock off $10 if they made it less detailed. I was not satisfied with that response so I asked why EXACTLY (like specific details, specific charges that would make this cake come out to $150) and they could not tell me why. They explicitly told me in November that my child’s cake came out so high because it had 2 layers, but I’m now only asking for a simpler one layer cake and you’re telling me it’s coming out to more??? Safe to say, I didn’t go through with the graduation cake order and will not do business or ever recommend this bakery. How could I recommend a place to people who seem to charge whatever prices they want for whatever they want. There’s definitely seems to be 0 consistency in their pricing and I personally can’t trust and establishment like that.

HORRIBLE place and experience! I ordered a cake for my sister's gender reveal, we asked for black and white safari silhouette with a pretty black and white flower reef design on top with blue and pink cursive letters, instead the day of our party we pick up this upsetting, sad, ugly cake. I dont bake but I could have done a better job than this! the lady who gave us the cake was so rude and unapologetic we weren't even given the full refund for cake and the chocolates that we had to go buy for ourselves for the inside of the cake... and there excuse was that it was the pricing that we were paying which is pathetic because we never gave them a budget, on the contrary we let them give us the pricing for what we were asking for .... Do NOT GO HERE!!!! They just cut paper and placed it on the cake. They couldn't even do it evenly or around the whole cake!!! We had no cake for the gender reveal thanks to them -Bad Quality -Did not deliver expectations -Bad Customer service -I think the other reviews are the owners themselves

We payed for a cake that was done horribly. There are no words to describe the attention we received the day we went to pick up the cake. We complained about the cake to the lady, and she had the nerve to respond "well what do you expect from a cake that you only payed $55 for." Only? That was $55 dollars and we didn't put a price on the cake that is what they charged us when we came to them with our ideas. When we gave them our ideas, we thought they would put it together like a professional bakery would, but instead they printed the pictures I gave them with watermark's on them and just stuck it on the cake. Who does that? I would not recommend this place to anyone. Please don't waste your time or money here. Find yourself a place that values their work and puts in effort to present a good product no matter the price! This bakery did not care about giving us a terrible cake. It looked like a kid put it together.

Chick Bakery is an outstanding place to create the cake of your dreams! Alberto and his team are very professional, knowledgeable, supportive and personal. He helped us create the vision we had for our wedding cake as he sat with us and created a draft that became the most amazing cake in reality. The flavors (all recommended) specially blueberry! This place was recommended to us & what can I say when I tried a sample cake it was delicious! Haven't had a cake that good best place to order your cakes for any occasion! We went to order for my daughter's birthday cake back in December 2021. I highly recommend ☺ the young lady that helped us place the order was very helpful & nice. This was the cake we got the paw patrol. &the other two in the other pic was from a party we went to it it was from this same place & was also very good .. Made me two beautiful cakes, but was very disappointed with the cake pops I ordered. They did not look professionally made one bit, when I said I did not want them, they said I had to purchase, even though it wasn’t what I had ordered. The cake pops they advertise and the ones they actually deliver are completely different. Moral of the story is they make beautiful cakes but STAY AWAY FROM THE CAKE POPS. Very unfortunate because they’ve lost my business as a result of that one experience.

I love this new bakery! The cakes are always moist and decor is on point. I have been in a rush twice -once during the Christmas holiday and the other today! I needed a chocolate cake. They stepped a notch and added cherries! It was a amazing. Moreover, the customer service is outstanding. I am definitely happy they popped up in the neighborhood and hope they plan to stay for a while. Try them! The cakes are FANTASTIC! You won't regret it.

I ordered a cake for my Daughter's Quince. The lady was very nice, listened and showed examples of how her cake would look and how tall. The cake was not only beautiful, it was delicious . My daughter was so surprised she loved it. They offer delivery at a really good price, I live in Grand Prairie. It was on time and the guy who delivered it was really nice. First time I ordered from here in November 2018. The cake was beautiful but the order was wrong. I had ordered a half vanilla half chocolate. I called them and they were very nice and quick to offer me another cake for free. I ordered the free cake for January 2019 for my kids Birthday. I was not disappointed the cake was beautiful and delicious and yes it was the right cake. Thank you chic bakery.

Bought a cake from their fridge section on Saturday cause I waited until the last minute. I was worried it was going to be old and dry. It was not!! It was moist chocolate on chocolate and delish. I also got their strawberry cupcakes that were delish. I tried a slice of the blueberry cake as well…..delish. I have no complaints. I will be back

They did the cake for my daughter’s Sweet 16 and it was awesome, everyone loved the taste and the design. I just ordered one for my wife’s Oct 31st bday and they did a great job on the Halloween decorations. They said it was a simple cake but man they delivered a great looking and great tasting cake. I am a life long member for sure lol

Ordered a 3 tier birthday cake. It was beautifully decorated. The top two tiers were fresh and delicious. Bottom tier was old, crumbly, stale cake. They put a heavy sugar flower on the cake which was too heavy and tore through the cake. I think they should've known to put the flower on the bottom tier of it was too heavy.

They make beautiful cakes but the taste is what got me, these folks seriously NEVER disappoint. They always go above and beyond when I place an order and its not too expensive.

Ordered a Ms. Pac-Man Cake at the last minute for my wife’s birthday, and not only was it affordable, I was very impressed with the taste and quality of my wife’s birthday cake. Very helpful, answers questions if you have them and ordering a specialty cake. The cakes are delicious and not dry with many flavorful options. They also make other baked goods such as cake pops, cookies and cupcakes. If you are in the mood for an individual slices you have this option.

This bakery has some of the best fondant cakes I've ever bought. The fondant is very soft and perfect. The cake was better than I was expecting and the cookies were so soft and good as well. Overall, this bakery met my expectations and I will be recommending them to everyone I know.
