"Love Hawthorne Cineplex, always great massive sized theatres with great experiences"
"Good facilities bathroom wise"
"Value for Money"
"There is no wheelchair access even though it states there is (signs are on the outside pointing you down the side!) and it's a hazard to attempt to get in the building only to find that it's not accessible - seriously disgusted by how you don't seem to care about people less physically able!"
"The facility needs renovation"
Love Hawthorne Cineplex, always great massive sized theatres with great experiences. The only thing is one time the air-con was ready to freeze a Yeti it was so cold in the theatre, come prepared with a good warm jacket. Also be prepared to drive around the block a couple times to find a park as there is no designated parks.
Good facilities bathroom wise. I've been here on multiple occasions and had good experiences all round but this last time we were put in cinema 3, which is quite small and it was to see black panther wakanda forever so it was quite crowded. The popcorn was also quite stale but apart from that it was a good experience.
Value for Money...First time last night, whilst it is an old and small cinema it was very comfortable seating clean and great leg room, snacks and tickets less than $40 for 2 adults with a great variety of restaurants across the road. Its not Gold Class cause its in a class of its own nostalgia that makes you smile

The facility needs renovation. It's cheap for a reason. We walked in one of the rooms and smelled dank, the carpet is in bad condition and we looked at the ceiling and there was mould everywhere. We walked out before the movie started as we couldn't relax with that terrible smell.
Got the popcorn half way through the movie. Chairs didn't recline properly and some broken. Really noisy music. Other patrons for up and closed the doors after the servers left them open when bringing in the food. Turn the auditorium or kitchen music down. It's not a night club.
Excellent value and Great Staff. This Cinema deserves to be used as you can take the family to any of the Ciniplex Theaters for half the cost of other cinemas. They have a few Great locations and Less than $10 per ticket and Cheap Tuesdays for about $8
Old-fashioned cinema feel with new comfortable chairs. Great price also. Heaps of free street parking. And it's close to Oxford St Bulimba so you can go after or before the movie and get some food. Please like or share if you enjoyed this review.
Great cinema! Nice and small. First time here and I enjoyed it. It is one of the cheapest places to watch the latest movies. The auditorium could be small and narrow and the screen is somewhat smaller than a typical cinema; however, you are
Our table was on a lean so when the staff member put our food and drinks down they kept sliding. Our frozen drink slid off the table onto the ground and when I held it up to the staff member and asked if it could be replaced he said no and
First time going to this cinema (the older building across the road, not the deluxe). Not huge, but comfy enough for a few hours, and cheap ticket prices. Much better than the massive cinema group that charges more than twice the price.
Went to the Hawthorne Cineplex Saturday evening 22nd July Ordered Nachos delivered to me Cold with no Serviette told girl was given another with no beans reheated in microwave was warm with so much sour cream it was
Jacob Preston is the most fire employee ever. he cooked up a storm in the kitchen and his salty fries are perfect, 10/10 would definitely recommend! Coming again to watch the new spiderman!
The cinema isn’t the shiny fancy kind you get in shopping centres. The screens are a bit small and the chairs aren’t anything fancy but the building has a classic charm to it.
Paid the premium price and the food order never arrived. When we had to ask the popcorn then tasted like a box of salt. Left a very salty taste in our mouth indeed
Classic, unpretentious old-school cinema with affordable prices, the way it ought to be. Can't wait to go back.
ONLINE - GREAT PRICE $10 PP The entry of the theatre was totally discusting. Thrown and spilled popcorn
Part of the charm is the slightly seedy feel to the place. There are memories here.
Good seats clean and plenty of room , bit cold
