"This is the second of many poor experiences I have had at this co-op"
"The cashier was super rude when I asked for the receipt after I paid and he started lecturing me about how I should’ve asked for it before making the payment"
"Stale sandwiches and stale "fresh food" in general, Unavailable items all the time (I guess they replenish shelves once a week on Mondays, Middle-age way of recording the item availability might play a role"
"I swear there are never any staff who actually work here"
When you can find staff in the store, they are friendly and helpful - but good luck finding any, especially during non busy periods. Several times I have been in and there has been no one at the tills, self-service, or anywhere else about the store. None of the self service tills take cash so it is basically impossible to pay by cash if there is no one at the till. Items are often price marked incorrectly and this store really does not seem to be managed well, or at all. The bakery is very good, but for everything else you’re better off going up the hill to the tesco or sainsburys - a lot cheaper too!
This is the second of many poor experiences I have had at this co-op. Please avoid at all costs. In the first instance a manager was directly rude and disparaging. Today's young customer service agent refused to scan and charge my items at the till and asked me to go use the self-checkout area instead. I am unsure if this is now standard practice for Co-op but there is ZERO customer care at this store. Avoid it and let it go out of business.
The cashier was super rude when I asked for the receipt after I paid and he started lecturing me about how I should’ve asked for it before making the payment. He just assumed I don’t speak English and made it seemed like it was my fault and personally I find this behaviour very racist.
Stale sandwiches and stale "fresh food" in general, Unavailable items all the time (I guess they replenish shelves once a week on Mondays, Middle-age way of recording the item availability might play a role.) And expensive! This company is an embarrassment for coop movement
I swear there are never any staff who actually work here. Expect to spend up to 10 mins stood at the self check out before they approve your shopping.
Always a joke staff are nowhere to be seen and you’re waiting at the tills for ages and when you do find someone they act as if it’s a problem
-Plan your dinner -Make a shopping list -Go to Co-op -Find nothing -Order pizza
Self checkout billed me twice, avoid at all costs!
Racist and rudeness on a whole different level.
Convenient location and timings.
It’s good and convenient!
