In this age where plastic is unacceptable, I'm very disappointed in Coles attitude to using single use plastic in its delis and not being open to customers who bring their own packaging. I take my own beeswax kitchen wraps and glass containers for specific items to all shops I buy from and have not had a problem until at Coles, Prahran and South Melbourne stores. I went to both because I thought 1st store may have been behind the times. I asked the deli assistant to put my wrap on the scale and tare the scale (means bring measurement to 0 so not calculating the weight of the wrap). For some reason, instead of using tongs, staff must use single use plastic gloves to pick up the produce. I asked them to put the produce directly onto my wrap for measure. I was told this could not be done - it was against company policy. Same response at the 2nd store. To paint a picture: I asked for slices of cold cut, staff puts on single use plastic gloves, then puts a single use plastic bag on scales, puts cold cuts onto the plastic bag on scales, wraps this and then again in paper and sticks on a price tag. Using my own packaging would have reduced single use plastic going to landfill and paper. Then, I went to two Coles supermarket competitors and in both stores the deli staff were more than obliging, without question. Happy to use my own wraps and glass containers, tared the scales without being asked, and only used the plastic gloves to pick up the item, and added price sticker. It is hypocritical to join ban single use plastic bags at check out and not carry through in other departments, especially when the consumer comes with options. Coles get both thumbs down from me.

As a young woman I decided that I wouldn't be the kind of person that went to the supermarket. As it transpires my life turned out to be very mundane. I go to the supermarket just like everyone else. During lockdown I started using the Coles and Woolworths in Prahran. They are both newly built. Coles is where I do most of my shopping; the prices are generally more reasonable. There's plenty of parking available under Prahran Square. This Coles location has the added bonus of the click and collect feature available via lockers situated at the rear entrance. The isles are wide and the store is immaculately clean. I choose to use the self checkout and find the staff very pleasant and helpful; they have always been so, even throughout lockdown. The range of products is massive and can be confusing. This supermarket is like all others; designed to disorient you and thrust you into a state of mind where you buy everything you don't need and nothing necessary. Always take a list, and stick to it. This location is super convenient for anyone who prefers not to drive. The front entrance is on Chapel St and the rear leads you out into Prahran Square where you can sit and scroll through your phone, meet a friend for coffee or catch a little vitamin D. You can find the entrance to Woolworth there and the back entrance to Prahran central. All that you could possibly need is available to you; an interesting life, not so much.

Staff can be very rude to the locals. If you're from a lower socio economic expect to be followed, stared at and not given good customer service. Often ignored so they can help other ppl behind you. Asking constantly to check my bags before, during and as leaving in one visit, I wanted to talk to service area worker, but she kept telling me in an unfriendly and loudly (so everyone was looking at me frowning bc if the worker is being nasty everyone turns on you) to bring basket to her. I just wanted to check my balance on gift cards. She made a total scene. I was so embarrassed I left my bag and basket and walked home empty handed. This isn't an isolated event. As it's my closest shop I go there several times a week as there's little choice. Groceries are often more expensive than other Coles also and it's not a Coles Express. After 5 years a few older ladies are a bit nicer but the usual floor manager is the nastiest, brashness, rudest woman with a job I have ever met. I am treated as thief despite never stealing anything in life and dont have a criminal record or been involved in any incidents, but since living here I have grown acustomed to nei g treated sub human. As there are not very affordable places to go shopping, so clothes get raggedy after a few years living here in this S hole of a place. Bring on the judgement.

Usually I like this Coles, not the best of all, but it has all the basics that we need. The 1 star is for the fact that now they're replacing plastic bags entirely for paper bags. Why Coles? Why? No lame excuse is good enough. Paper bags are absolutely useless. they break, we cannot carry our shopping in it. Only invention worst than paper bags are paper straws. The excuse for this useless decision is probably because someone decided that this is more environmentally friendly, which isn't. So instead of providing plastic bags which we can re-use, now you decided to waste trees to make paper bags which will only break anyway and leave people with their shopping all over the floor. Trees are absolutely sacred, and every time someone wastes trees for dead end inventions its a terrible decision for the environment. Hope Coles comes to its senses and stop this very bad decision. Food shopping used to be one of my favourite things to do, but now is not only getting ruined by awful inflation making prices go up all the time, now this, there is the nightmare of having to deal with those silly paper bags all around.

One of the best Coles stores. Great selection of gourmet deli goods, and hot food/ready made meals and snacks. Trams out the front on Chapel Street, trams just around the corner on Commercial Street/Malvern Road. Not too far from Prahran station. Rear entry/exit leads to Prahran Square with secure, undercover parking. Extensive sanitizer stations etc, and is a large store, enabling socially distant shopping. Plenty of Checkouts, both staffed and self-service. Polite and helpful staff members. Always well stocked shelves and clean/sanitised trollies and baskets. Decent trading hours, although since the first lockdown curfew, only open until 10pm instead of midnight now. Also has a spacious area around the many delivery lockers. Secure area for bicycles and pets to wait. Often has generous specials on milk and fresh produce that is nearing the best before date. Only difference from other stores is that instead of having a Liquorland in the same building, the bottleshop is about 20 metres or so back up Chapel Street (towards Windsor) All in all, recommended supermarket for a pleasant shopping experience.

I have just been into Coles Prahran and it is about five minutes before the store will close on a Saturday evening and I received probably the best customer service I have ever received at a supermarket from the young man who served me at the express counter. Not only that but I was paying for my groceries using about $25 of shrapnel I had wanted to get rid of as I thought I would be using the self service. He assured me to take my time, that money is money and couldn’t have been lovelier from start to finish. I wish I had had the opportunity to catch his name as I would have mentioned him personally however I didn’t note it down. A fantastic example for anyone working in a service industry as receiving great customer service goes such a long way!

  • Tez z

the supermarket is fine but since there is no way to leave a review for their individual products on their website I'll leave it here. the new (2020/2021) 10 litre coles branded water bottles are complete garbage about 1 in 4 leak and get the water all over my floor and about 1 in 8 have a tap that is so stiff that I need to use a pair of pliers each time a want a glass of water. Annoyingly I actually bought one a few weeks ago that had both problems. I miss the old bottles. But it's such a pain in the arse to lug an open bottle back to the store for a replacement that has a good chance of having the same or worse problem. In summation good store, worst conceivable water bottle.

Was nearby and need to quickly get some of things. Need more Chinese Asian staff, all the western staffs not friendly to me and try to ignore me when I tried to ask for something. So unprofessional. And when I finally got someone to ask, ask for something this lady employee did not understand what I was asking and look at me weird. Need at least a few that can understand Chinese/mandarin so I can get better serve. Even my friend who usually shop here say no staff good to her. Maybe don't go to this coles anymore. The coles at Melbourne Central always help me because they have employee that can understand my language and so friendly.

I have been there many times for cafe shopping , however on 21st december I accidentally gave extra money because I was confused then i gave her $ 40 thinking that i only gave 20$. I than came back and told her that i accidentally gave two 20$ notes and she replied saying that she doesn't know anything. Than she informed her Manger and they took my phone no and they told me that they will contact me after checking the cctv footage but its been 3 weeks and i still have no reply. I am angry not that fact that i gave her two 20$ notes but i am angry about the fact that they still havent contacted me or tried to do anything.

Indubitably, Coles Prahran hath proven to be a most wondrous emporium of victuals and provisions. Its halls are replete with a cornucopia of comestibles - from the freshest of produce to the most succulent of meats, and all manner of delicacies betwixt. The bakery, in particular, is a most delightful treasure trove of confections and pastries, the likes of which doth quicken the heart and enliven the senses. Though the crackheads out the front may ruffle one’s proverbial feathers, the experience as a whole is one most pleasurable and worthwhile.

  • Scott Nenadovich

I’m standing next to the not-so-smart lockers waiting to pick-up a Click & Collect. Reflecting about the 25 mins I wasn’t saving. Until a brief moment of self-amusement. I chuckled to myself, realising that “I’ve ordered Coles Click & Regret.” But putting this experience aside, this is a great Coles for ✨ regular shopping ✨Great range, nice modern layout and super friendly staff. Just remember to save time by shopping like a regular human, ordering delivery and thinking of the fridge lockers as Click&Forget.

  • lisa B

Usually go here as it is close to work. Last week a young man putting through my groceries couldn’t even say a hello. Looked like he didn’t want to be there. Put my bags at the start of my shopping, Had to ask twice if he could bag my products. He really did not want to do this and I thought this is something they automatically do if you provide a bag. Please train your staff to provide a decent customer service experience. Really poor effort..

  • Ray Dunn

Some Coles just don't feel inviting or for some reason just don't make you want to return. Coles Prahran is the opposite. It's as though you could come here everyday and I do. Even when I don't need anything and that's a danger but also a successful business objective. It flows well, there's never any queues, all my favourites are always available the staff are helpful whenever you need them. And there's always plenty of parking.

  • Little Rebels

Coles, i like ya ok, you’re my preference over woolies. Heres a suggestion, when stocking bananas, could you put a mixture of RIPE! and not so RIPE! bananas in the mix. Cause sometimes i stop in there to get a snack, and when i want to eat a banana, i usually want it right then and there, not to have it sit on my shelf until ITS ready, im not that organised. Please take this on board as a very serious matter! Thank you!

  • Amy Elizabeth

I hate to give a bad review but I won’t be returning to this calls, if I can help it. Why? Parking. This will probably be an okay Coles if you were on foot, but driving in was the worst idea. I circled the block a couple of times and then had to park in the underground paid car park close by and walk across. I’ll give the place a few stars. It is reasonably similar to most of the Coles supermarkets inside.

  • Max “Whats Pup - Max” V M Korobacz

Situated next to one of its many rivals, Coles offers it's standard shopping experience, lay out like every other of its stores. What stood out to me, was the security guard standing watch over not the entrance, but the self checkouts. Often at times guards will wait at the entrance of supermarket chains, find a mark, then tail them, keeping track for any illegal activities within the confines of the store

  • Shermelan Reddy

Store security flash a fake badge at me outside here and get very aggressive with me as I didn't pay for a box of razors and, take me to court over it... I was not worried by their bulls**t... When the police came, they burst out laughing when they found out these dogs kept me for some razors, they bailed me immediately... The judge gave me no penalty for the razors... What a bunch of winners...

This used to be our regular Coles, but since the renovation earlier this year (2019) we absolutely avoid it. Not sure what Coles was thinking - the new look is cold, impersonal and the space is just unpleasant to spend any time in. The starkly different new looks of Aldi and Woolworths, on the other hand, are both welcoming and their shops are actually inviting places to be in.

  • kalyani dongaonkar

Place is always crowded. Junkies outside the door. During covid they haven’t kept this coles clean as required (woolies is much hygienic). Nothing special about the special aisles as they only have standard products. But this area is good there is an asian store besides this coles and woolies in-front. Dan Murphy adjacent so the trip to this location solves most issues.

  • Aditya Joshi

It’s your typical Coles. Friendly staff and clean, in general. Why am I not giving a 5? Two reasons: 1) They don’t stock too many Indian groceries. Woolies which is just almost next door has a much larger range of Indian products (yogurt, parathas, rotis, frozen okra, biscuits and the likes). 2) They didnt have kitchen forks and spoons in stock the day I went :(.

  • Ian Woodruff

Spacious modern Coles supermarket with direct access to the new multilevel carpark adjacent. Reasonable range of fresh fruit and vegetables although if you are after that "hard to get" fresh produce item, the Prahran Market across the street might be a better option. All one one level with no steps so will not be difficlult for people with mobility issues.

  • albie bass

Here I am rating the store's disposition to puck up the phone when a customer rings. I have tried several times over several days at different rimes of the day and NO ONE is ever available to answer calls. This is mor the only Coles store to fail to do so. It must be company policy. I hate to think how they are serving older or less mobile customers.

  • Quick Lay

Standard Coles supermarket. People generally busking/begging out front and there is still no date for the opening of the carpark out the back. Woolworths out back and Aldi near Prahran Market have parking vouchers if you spend enough. Coles self checkout always seems to lockup on me - I suspect out dated technology [couldn't be my fault : ) ].

  • Scott Fountain

Just popped in for a loaf of bread and went through self scan. Was greeted by the enthusiastic staff member Michael that was so engaging at the same time conscientiously cleaning and dusting around all the monitors and weight stations. He even made sure to catch my eye to wish me a pleasant day as I departed the store. Well done Michael

  • Fang Qi

Very rubbish supermarket! The staffs inside were really rude! There was a man who do the packing things, he was most rude one. When I ask him anything, but give me the answer is no… Also there was a short and dark Asian woman who were a pair of glasses. Never sew she smile and always negative to serve people. Very very bad customer service!

  • Andrew Tralongo

Great and new Coles! Got everything you need, great variety at the deli section, avoiding you from having to buy packet meat and cold cuts, and the bakery has a good variety of fresh bread. The liquorland around the corner is not too far and has good specials. Also right next to Woolworths, so it’s easy to do your Sunday shop in Prahran

  • Mary Vasilakakos

The most logically organised aisles I've ever seen in my life. Medium size supermarket but I did my shop in lighting fast time cos related products are placed in logical clusters. Didn't have to go back and forth looking for things. Some extraordinary low prices on brands such as Dynamo and Nestle Coffee. Definitely going back.

  • Jacob Mulholland

Asked about a bag of diced pumpkin maybe being out the back as none on the shelves and was told they'd check, only to have person walk straight past me after ~5 mins. Asked another staff regarding and he brought the original person out to say no there was none. Apart from that and have been there before, great range in general.

  • Jasmin Schmidt

This place is a really scary place to shop - the staff are incredibly unhelpful when it comes to all of the creepy, crazy street urchins that basically have both entrances covered. Begging for anything and everything, from "you got a spare Panadol, to can you spare me 10 cents to buy a train ticket". UGH!!! Hate this place!!!!!

  • Aviva Billington

Very impressed with the size & unlike most other Coles stores, alot of variety!! I liked also that unlike other stores the range was contemporary & there were good sales with more than what my other experiences in many Coles stores-old & new-have been!! Coming back here more often for my weekly shopping/grocery requirements!!

  • Heather Walkerden

Surprisingly when I was here there were many customers who were not wearing masks. All the staff were wearing masks but no one seemed to be asking people to put on their masks. Apart from this the shop was bright and well laid out. I've only given 2 stars because the number of people not wearing masks was rather alarming

  • Julian De Bortoli

This Coles in the morning between 6:00am and 10:00am is probably the worst service I've come across in years. The line on the only register open gets to 10 sometimes 15 deep and staff wondering around see this and just ignore it. So tired of waiting 20 min to get served. Going too Woolies... much better service.

  • Kieran Hanrahan

Standard inner city Coles. Chapel Street entry side is mostly for self checkout only and rarely has more than staffed checkout available for customer's with baskets only. Car park side could be better but also looks to have limited checkouts available. Surprised this is not a 24/7 Coles given the location.

  • Bennis Dennis

Compared to woolworths next door this coles lacks a variety of items that you would expect from a supermarket. Woolworths has a great selection of fresh baked bread while Coles has a limited range. On some days their fruit and vege options are super low. Woolworths deli has far more options as well.

  • Gabriel Archer

Utter disgrace and discrimination from the weekend manager. Paying with e card through zjp pay is usually how I do groceries. But the manager didn't want to type in the number What a fool he is. Has he not heard of a scanner. Don't go if you use credit in anyway. They can't be bothered helping you.

  • Asian Sensation

Good store with pretty much everything that's needed. But sometimes its not well stocked on special products. Some guys stacking groceries I allege were racist and made a remark about me being an 'Asian' and the security guard was observing at looking at me when I was self-checking out. Dodgy.

  • Ashim Handa

Ridiculous store...won't call it a supermarket even. Been there a couple of times and the customer service is probably the worst I have seen around prahran. Would rather go to woolworths next to it which is 1000 times better in every aspect. This store needs a good leader/manager definitely.

  • Samantha L

Usually ok, today I was ignored at the front counter while she served two people clearly in front of me( which she knew) and then at the deli counter the girl was too busy on her phone to look up and see if she had customers, took her a while! Not sure I'll go back actually!

  • Shazmin Ghazali

Your friendly neighbourhood supermarket. Carries all the major brand items, although might be a bit limited in choice compared to other bigger outlet. But you can almost find any food items you might need for the week and at reduced price (especially during stock clearance).

  • Simon Thomas

As far as delivering here, just like every other coles store to me. God it was a nightmare to do when that carpark was being built, probably even worse than Safeway because it was right across from it, and I can't imagine it makes it any easier to shop there in all honesty.

  • rifqy haddad

Staff treating people like rubbish! I've given it multiple chance but more often than not when I need help from the staff I get massive attitude and patronising service. Definitely not coming back here and I encourage you to do so if you expect a good customer service.

  • mark wilden

It's a shop where you go to buy groceries all supermarkets make out that you are saving money ID like to see that .You walk out with a few bags of groceries and it's $100 Plus some grocery stores I set out a little bit different some bigger some smaller regards Mark

  • Peter Kamberis

Great old fashion service. A lady offered me customer service at the check out because I had lots of groceries. She packed my bags neat and tidy and wished me a great afternoon. Can mean the difference between shopping at Coles and Woolworths nextdoor. Thank you.

  • rogers Burne

I like coles very much, however some staffs who work in this one were very mean. An old female staff who work in front was very unpolite! And she was totally no familiar with the Australian law and company rules at all! She need more time to study or back home!

  • Jen Jen

The service was horrible. Saw people shoplifting and after advising the staff they did nothing about it. The guy was no help didn’t get his name. They should train the stuff to deal with situations like that. Might find another grocery store to do my shopping.

  • jessica swaffer

For months now there has been the most putrid smell coming from the deli, which has now taken over the entire store. Sort it outtttttttt. Well actually I've given up and go to woolies now so do or don't, I just feel sorry for your staff having to work there.

  • Steven Heath

The reviews are astonishing. This is a mediocre offering from Coles Supermarkets. It's what I would describe as an 'in-between' version. If the company wishes to have a limited offering, don't pretend it's a full Coles supermarket, with a complete range.

  • Wendy Hocking

Doesn't have enough cat food, all dog food!! I did give it 5 ⭐'s. But I believe it doesn't deserve, after another look at the Pet Dept!! All doggy, & half a shelf for "US CAT OWNER'S"!!! Change it back before you renovated the place!!! …

  • Michelle Richardson

Went to get my fave Core Powerfood on sale this week- The freezer was empty and I thought I'd missed out. Thankfully help was at the ready with a smile from staff. Nothing seemed too much trouble; I just had to ask. Have you tried these meals? AMAZING!!

  • Angelo Ogg

The new Coles admittedly looks and feels better.. but the range of items has been greatly reduced. The fruit and vegetables section is too small and crowded for easy selection. The meat section is well hidden. But I still shop there as it's convenient.

  • kat B

I'm so disappointed that they have got rid of the parking out the back. Make me only go there early morning. Or I have just been choosing other supermarkets to go to. Not sure I'd they are got to make. More parking in the future. We will wait and see.

  • Michael Angelico

It has a good range but it's a weird arrangement and not as easy to navigate as other stores. Still I was able to find what I wanted and the staff at the self serve checkout were very helpful. There was no queue and I was in and out very quickly.

  • john lowndes

They should take a cut in their profits and donated 2 public housing to reduce inflation of course instead of their employees taking a cup in their pay the few the very few employees that have left of course oh and stop gouging primary producers

  • Chirag Shah

I stay in Windsor and come to Coles regularly. Parking at this place is convenient and the store is great. Prices are competitive as there is a woolworths just opposite it. This outlet also offers options to help bring back groceries to the car.

  • Manu Mathew

It's a good place to shop around. It's not the best either you need not be in the queue to get your things. It's concurrent and fast. Sufficient car parking is there in the near by vicinity. There is access to public transport too.

  • Allison marie Ogilvie

I dropped into Coles after visiting my mum at the ALFRED,I couldn't believe the fantastic assortment of quick healthy snacks, from wraps to sandwiches so much more totally great if your hungry & in a hurry friendly staff 5 s …

  • Nicholas Spiker

Customer service is very poor. Check your receipts because special pricing is often not reflected at the checkout. Staff like to tell you that pricing errors that are “human error” are not eligible for their pricing guarantee.

  • Vicky Sauer

The store has huge signs saying they are open on good Friday, lights were on yet the doors did not open, there was no staff, which indicates that they are infact not open. This is missleading and deserves the lowest rating!

  • William Wong

It has a good variety of products, aisles are well categorised and price is well displayed. However, I mainly provides Australian based products, it still lacks sufficient products from worldwide, especially Asian products.

  • Francis Wilden

I avoid this Coles if I can and now limit my visits to nothing other than for urgent convenience purchases. Easier, and way more productive for me to drive to Toorak Safeway 8 mins away than go to this store which is 600m.

  • Elvira Edmond

More expensive and a poorer range of the comestibles I am interested in than the competition: Woolworth & Aldi, both nearby. Too little variety & too much pre-packaged uninteresting combinations of nothing in particular.

  • Daryl Kennedy

Good supermarket which carries a full range not only of products but also brands. The car parking will be a challenge in 2018 as Cato St is undergoing a huge transformation. Will be worth it once complete .... Daryl K

  • Darrel Gibbs

Very limited stock choices compared to other stores and are often out of stock especially cleaning products and accessories, not very well set out. Kinda confusing really. Parking an issue also. So yer nah not a fan

  • TONI MATHIESON

Whatever happened to quality customer service??? In this coles it's non-existent! No eye contact, no smile, no service whatsoever. You get more friendly service from using the machine at the self-service checkout!!!

  • Reema Kanodia

This place has got an upgrade. It resides in the beautiful Prahran Precint. Well organized Aisles. Coles is always the best for groceries. Now they are in Uber EATS as well. So sit back and order groceries online.

  • Mel C

This Coles is large, clean, bright and well stocked. The minuses are: lack of free parking (old free parking spots behind are no longer there) and there's always homeless asking for spare change out in the front.

  • eunike karmawidjaja

Best Coles ever! All staffs are helpful and friendly. Especially deli team regardless how busy they are( busiest I imagine than other coles in melbourne) they deliver super quick service with great hospitality:)

  • Jason Kelton

Since the renovation Coles has improved a lot, but the issue is sometimes over crowding and queues at the checkouts... no different to the Woolies in the area so perhaps they need to open another one nearby :)

  • Jo L

Worst Coles I have ever been. Very very limited ranges! Unfriendly to Asians, from products options to customer service. Visitors need to be very careful about the price they charge. Will never visit anymore!

  • Jodie Chamoun

This is my local store and I love the renovation they done it was well over due. There's a much wider variety of food for all. However I would love it if they bought in more Arabic food as there is none.

  • Tracey Heong

The worst Coles. They don't have the same prices or stock as the catalogue specials. The fresh vegetable section is tiny. It was better before the huge renovation. I just go to the Woolies now. Or Aldi

  • Kathryn Schurmann

Not the cleanest most modern of stores but range is good parking at night difficult in chapel street as back doors are closed to customers from rear parking lot. Deli lines were poor later in the day.

  • Sam Kaz

The worst customer service specially the women named Shrin(Most disgruntled employee). Not sure why Coles is keeping her if she does not want to work. I would rather goto Coles Balaclava then here.

  • Jerome Roussety

Since the renovations earlier this year, the store feels fresh and welcoming. The layout has also improved and also the variety of product's at this store is great compared to my own local Coles.

  • Alexandra Walker

Such a bad Coles. Pokey and narrow aisles, frequently running out of stock. Meat and fresh produce area is small and understocked. Can't wait for them to change it with the Cato Square upgrade.

  • Bianca

Expensive parking in prahran square and no parking discount when you shop at Coles. Also since new year there are often no trolley, and I have to search the car park for one myself on a sunday

  • Karl Dumbrell

Fruit and veg aren't the best. Staff are always rude. The deli stock is nasty. I know it's prob a difficult place to work with some of the locals. But customer service and resilience are key.

  • Sean Halperin

Rude staff. They acknowledged I was standing there waiting for service. But choose to assist the individual who walked in after me and was behind me in queue. I'll take my business elsewhere

  • Steve Hanning

It was my first time there since it was renovated. Looked amazing. Spacious. Bigger aisles. Greater choice. Easy checkout. Improved parking. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Prahran.

  • Perikles Giglas

This is my local Coles, what can I say the older store before the new Coles was better. It had plenty of fridges etc now it is like set up for the trendy?? Besides that prices are a rip off

  • Henry DLC

Had a very nice young man by the name of Daniel in the deli offer me a variety of meats and was very patient. He also was an expert in mushrooms and very conversable. 10/10 would go again

  • X Liang

Lovely layout, but less choices of products. They don't have lots of goods I used to buy from them. The dental floss, certain frozen meals, and the ice cream freezer looks a bit messy.

  • Bec Fraser

Easy to find Wot u want and nice priced. I got everything I needed which fills up 2 shopping bags and the psycho security man that video'd me using his ph doesn't work there any more

  • Tony Wenz

Coles & LiquorLand (enter Chapel St). Not the biggest store. But has 11 aisles or so. Rear entrance for Coles as well. I hear parking could be an issue (but I walked) ...‍♂️ …

  • Erin FW

Shiny nice new store layout is great but sadly the public housing clientele that frequent this store are sometimes feral. Theft is s major problem. In both Coles and Woolies now.

  • Joyce Saun

Deaf friendly and staff deaf aware and have given a great opportunity for access and learning by employing my deaf daughter ❤ Please come in and support Coles Prahran ❤ …

  • Bastian M Goonewardena

Great location, the local convenience store. Friendly staff. When assistants is needed I need to look for staff, for some reason I feel the store is a bit under staff most times.

  • Andrew Power

Great store since the refurbishment in 2019. Usually well stocked and good variety of products for the size of the store. Surprised it didn't become a Coles local actually.

  • Naveed Zanoon

The stocks pretty good. Has everything you need. I pass it on my way to work. The customer care on the other hand was atrocious. The lady at the counter today was so blah.

  • Jonathan Benton

An average Coles supermarket with nothing distinctive to it. The deli is of a good size and well stocked but the place could do with a tidy, often items displayed poorly.

  • Andy R

Great success since they did up and renovated the store. As long as the manager does his job and keep the store looking nice and tidy and not crammed I'll keep coming.

The meat section looked like a dog's breakfast - chaotic and confusing. Very difficult to find anything through the mess. Ended up going to Woolworths next door.

Coles has a good variety and fresh products. The barista macadamia milk is great. Also found this Pichana rump! Awesome! The staff are nice and friendly too

Decent variety for its size and great location. Staff are friendly and helpful. I still have to go to the larger Coles stores to find certain items though.

It's ok. They were out of stock of what I wanted but the staff member made sure they gave me a rain check for the price. Didn't need to ask which was nice.

Fresh produce was good. Was looking for a particular item. Asked two staff members and I got the glass stare. Not really interested in helping me out.

Great layout of this supermarket. Can be quite busy as never enough register open but hands down to the staff who do try there Best at the busy times.

Very old store, limited stock, no halal signage so customers can choose not to buy. Too many beggars at both entrances. Staff at quite good though.

Regular Coles ‍♂️, well stocked. 2 Egg cartons per customer limitation needs to be removed though. It's still there as at Jan 2023. …

Here often and staff are always friendly and helpful. It's clean, some very specific things you won't find in here but has mostly everything!
