If I could give a zero I could, I don’t know the ladies name I dealt with but she was a blonde Asian lady with short hair, Anna was very nice however the lady I was seeing was extremely unhelpful, judgemental and a bully. I’m a single mum, widowed, my sons have medical conditions, I have only just reached a time where I could return to work. As soon as I told this lady that I’m a widow and not working until next month her whole demeanour changed. When Anna asked about my marital status rather then letting me answer the lady answered “single” in a harsh voice, no I’m widowed. She then refused to help find out how much I could loan, she only guessed, then when she put in the numbers she developed a told you so attitude. She sat there with her arms crossed, refusing to help. I went in with my mum and rather than focusing on me she went out of her way to ignore me, talk to my mum and over analyse her account without said permission. Extremely rude and made me feel uncomfortable, I’ll never go back to the Brimbank centre again.

I went today to get my bank statement certified. Pharmacist declined because too many pages and because of financial documents. Got told Bank Manager has just walked out and will be back soon. After 20 min of wait one senior female staff came and spoke to me said he will be back soon and asked the other girl to put my name on waiting list. Soon after manager walked in the branch with his shopping and walked straight into his office. After few minutes same senior female staff walked in his office and started having a chat or meeting. Looking from far it seemed like any general gossip meeting, it couldn't be that important that it could have started after two minutes after certifying my documents. After another 45 minutes I approached staff and complained why it is taking so long, again after few minutes I had to speak to the staff. I felt like in third world country where bank staff thinks they are king and others have to wait. It took my nearly 75 minutes to get my paper certified. What a joke so unprofessional.

I went in the bank on Tuesday to ask for better deals in regards to my loan that I have at the moment. The package that I am in expires next week so to get a head start I went in to get the best possible choice to renew it. Thinking that I would be helped after being with the bank for over 20 years I was only thrown a paper with the rates they have and not once did Diem the person who assisted us at the time asked or offered us to speak or make an appointment to see a loan manager to see for better deals. I found her Soo rude, not wanting to help you but just to get you over and don't with. For this reason I went to ask other branches and not only were they able to help me with what I was after but they had the time and decency to talk to me nicely in a welcome manner. It sad to say but because of this I did switch to another bank where they have the time to help their customers. Overall people like Diem working for your bank with that attatude it's not a friendly customer service.

Diem served me, she was very rude. Very condescending, made a rude comment about how I looked in my id card. I felt it was inappropriate to be asking me what amount of money I have in my account in front of the entire bank, I'm not sure why it was relevant or why she couldn't have seen me in one of the available private rooms. She was asking me very strange irrelevant questions and when I said I didn't want to answer she said " okay we'll just sit here then". Sorry I didn't feel comfortable explaining my life story to you Diem. I have the feeling she was embarrassed because she was trying to give me the wrong information at first and acting like I didn't know anything, but then one of her colleagues told her that she was incorrect. A very uncomfortable experience.

Disgrace! Went there on Wed 2pm on 15/6/2022 after issue with their online portal. Staff noted down my name and kept me waiting for 40mins, saying it will be 30 mins or even 50 mins more to wait. I should have been told wait time is >1 hour from the beginning. Asked if I could just get a temp password for Internet Banking, staff said she was busy recording people names for the queue. Asked if she could book me back for the morning, said she could not do it, because she was busy recording people names for the queue. Then the staff asked me to phone Customer Support. I called Customer Support next day, they said I had to go back to the branch, lol!!

I went to visit this branch today to request a replacement card. Upon entering the branch I stood in line waiting for the concierge to assist me after the next customer. While waiting a few customers came in and formed a line next to me. The concierge ignored the fact that I was clearly next in line but disregarded this fact and went ahead and served the person beside me. I spoke up and told her to please serve me next as I had been the first to come. I was ignored and another employee came up to me. These employees are not professional and should be more attentive. Also, they are quite slow in serving customers. Time to move banks I think.

Managers & staff are rude and incompetent. Branch Managers should be a shame of themselves for not taking the time to check facts and be inform. A simple request for activating an existing account for a disable person with the correct VCAT order turned into the most stressful experience. Due to the branch managers arrogance & lack of compassion has cause heartache and distress to their customer. Stay away!, Don't waste your time at this branch because they lack the knowledge and are not inform in dealing with VCAT matters.

Diem served me, she’s the worst! After waiting 2 hours she didn’t even want to help me open an account, finding every excuse to not help me, she’s very lazy and so trash. Majority of the time with her, she was on her Apple Watch talking to whoever and not even trying to help out. Another excuse she gave for me to not open with them is because I’d have to pay $4 to open with them, I don’t care if I have to pay $4 a month, just open me an account. I left without anything opened. She’s useless and so unprofessional.

3 people to greet people coming in.. but no one bithers to help... People waiting more than an hour to get a statement printed. Staff have no idea what facilities they have or offer and act like running a weekend club. I'd like edit this: In addition to above they're grossly incompetent. I have raised a formal complaint with CommBank Headoffice and moved my accounts to another financial institution. I was a customer for CommBank for last 14 years. This one branch broke it for me.

If I could give zero stars I would. Coin machine ate half my money, then took my card. Clearly a malfunctioning machine. Then I have to lodge a complaint to get my money!!! Ridiculous service. Lady running the floor today, 3rd Jan 2023 @brimbank branch (Reenie) was so rude and expected me to wait 45 mins because their machine stole my money. Like they are doing me a favour to lodge a dispute. Do not trust this bank!!!

CBA including this branch are a joke. You are made to go to the bank for large transactions, you get there on a saturday and they don't offer that service, only during the weekdays. For the working class person who works Mon - Fri you have no choice but to do your banking on the weekend. CBA is out of touch and a joke. I will be closing my account after 30+ years with them.

Staff are not friendly, when i ask a question they do not provide proper answer and gave me misleading information. Better to do our own research before communicating with the staff as they doesnt seem to care about the information they provide. Staff need better training in customer service and to provide accurate information. 0 stars if possible.

Not only this branch, this whole institution just want to Leech off the people and when they are wrong they make it out that there are other alternative to use and your are at fault because you didn't use them. I'm closing my account Tuesday and you should do the same. Not happy with the service that CBA provide.

Actually 2 working on 1 customer.. 3rd teller on her mobile while people waited. 3 people standing at front door to greet people. Didnt know it was a job for 3 people. Accounts cleaned out. The staff at the Brimbank Commonwealth Bank Branch were extremely helpful and were able to help my mother with her banking problem. We were welcomed straight away and left with a smile on our faces. They are not just doing their job but going above and beyond there job.

Banks what can I say. This one has a good number of ATMs including a change deposit so I guess it's a better than average bank branch. Its inside the shopping complex so a bit safer and with access to all the other shops it's convenient if you over shop. lol

Very poor service. Long wait times for even the simplest of tasks. Customer service non existent. Staff incompetent and dismissive. Covid safety practices not followed. They are just going through motions here. Avoid if you can.

Always slow teller service. Demand is high but not enough staff to serve. Wait time is typically 20-30 minutes in line. Though the branch manager Irene is out managing the front area, these people need extra staff.
