Yes this store has a great range. Amazing books. But I’d much rather shop somewhere with friendly staff. In all the times I’ve visited and made purchases in this shop over the past 3 years, I’ve never once been greeted warmly. Not even a hello. And when the staff pass you, there’s no attempt to assist or even say excuse me. They huff and puff and roll their eyes if you’re even slightly blocking the aisle or trying to look at anything. Any questions asked they also answer in a passive aggressive way. How did all the people who gave 5 star reviews get friendly service? Maybe they are only kind to certain types of people. I’ve decided I’m not going to shop here anymore because the in store experience isn’t worth it. First few times I brushed it off as a one-off. But now I can see it’s a consistent attitude toward customers. There are other book shops that love to see customers coming in so I’ll stick to those.

It's great to see independent bookshops in this day of online shopping and it must be hard for them to survive. That's why I always go into any such bookshops and always try to purchase at least one book. The range of books on display was impressive and I ended up buying 2 books which I hadn't seen elsewhere, even online. And the friendly service from the ladies was outstanding!

The books are always in a good state with no folded pages or damaged corners. The selection of Graphic Novels (eg. Manga, Comics etc.) was a bit disappointing to me because I couldn’t really find a book that I liked since the quantity of books were so little. The staff were very helpful and friendly though.

In and out within seconds on discovering the book that I was after there on display near entry. My only little disappointment was that i had not appreciated that they gift wrap - I did not allow time for this - had to run. Wheelchair accessible, child -friendly, various bus transport options nearby.

Good range of new books. First day post-covid lockdown re-opening they were insisting on seeing vaccination certificates as well as checking in and wearing face masks. So, I can go into Woolies or any other shop with no vaccination certificate, but book browsing is an exception? Why?

This book shop preserves the physical book and the need to keep the digital age at arms length , the staff are extra friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is great , the smell of paper products lingers and reminds us of how important books have been and still are !

Great book store with knowledgeable and kind stuff members. Their little door window during Covid lockdown is like a sparkle of magic in the middle of this crazy world. The shop display window is the one where people always stop. Thank you for being here for us.

Superb bookshop. I was looking for a book for my dad when it was his birthday and I picked up a book and he was in it. How's that for good luck. (He's semi famous but not a gangster) The bookseller has great taste and the staff are lovely.

Great selection but super unfriendly staff who act like they’re “woke.” Not really interested in hearing about their political views and dating history while trying to search for an item they haven’t even offered to help me find!

I found the male owner/staffmember very unhelpful. Basically couldn't be nothered. The lady i approached with my request at least tried to assist by checking availability on the computer.

Friendly staff, passionate about books and happy to share and offer recommendations. Shop has a fresh comfortable atmosphere, with a great selection of books. I always enjoy going there.

Great shop with many books but why on earth dont they have signs indicating the topic of the books ( crime, fiction, bios etc). This would save a buyer so much hassle in looking round

Fantastic book shop!! Nothing is a bother. If you can’t find a book the friendly staff are there to help. If you need to order something in. It’s done without a fuss. Love this store

Good local bookshop, with a great range of children's books. Adult bestsellers can be found here too as well as the classics (but not the more obscure ones).
