Nightmare Experience at (now) Country Hills Nissan - Kaizen Group in Calgary. I continue to have the misfortune of dealing with Sunridge Nissan (now Country Hills Nissan), under the ownership of the Kaizen Group in Calgary, and the entire experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. My encounter with this dealership has shattered any trust I had in both the Nissan brand and their so-called commitment to customer service. First and foremost, the car I purchased was allegedly "new," but during negotiations, I was informed that it had 500km on it due to the manager's personal use. However, upon taking possession of the vehicle, I discovered it had a whopping +1500km on the odometer, a stark contrast to the 23km documented on the bill of sale. This deceptive practice sets the tone for the lack of integrity that permeates this dealership. The second red flag arose when the delivery of the vehicle was delayed by over a week. Instead of proactive communication, I was left to initiate contact for updates. Initially, the excuse was the need for additional detailing, then miraculously, the keys were supposedly stolen, necessitating the creation of new ones. The lack of transparency and the string of nonsensical excuses only added to the frustration. Upon finally receiving the vehicle, it reeked of cigarette smoke, a blatant disregard for the promised "new condition." The windshield was also chipped, prompting us to request a replacement. Astonishingly, the General Manager at the time (Wasfi Haroun) advised us to wait for the crack to worsen before seeking a replacement, completely disregarding our expectation of a pristine car from the beginning. Six months of waiting for the windshield replacement followed, during which we had to constantly badger the dealership for updates. When the replacement finally occurred, it marked the beginning of a cascade of new issues. Upon receiving the car back, we noticed the center console for the windshield camera was loose, the "passenger airbag" warning lights not functioning, and the automatic emergency braking system consistently signaled its failure. Water was now also dripping from the cars roof and side column, showing leakage from the poorly installed windshield. Returning the car for rectification once again resulted in more chaos. A new windshield was placed, and new lane camera installed, as the previous was damaged by the installer. The Assistant Manager claimed the car was tested for 10km, yet there was a clear discrepancy in the Service as it only showed 3km driven from Vehicle check-in to check out, and even more astonishing, discrepancy once again from the odometer as it only showed 1km difference from the check-in Odometer read. Not to mention the gas gauge showed at least an 1/8 consumption from when the vehicle was dropped, which suggested a potential 80km worth of consumption (not reimbursed, by the way). The lack of accountability and transparency from the dealership is appalling. To add insult to injury, the newly installed windshield caused the heads-up display to be completely out of focus. Now, the dealership is ordering yet another replacement, citing a faulty windshield. The continuous stream of issues and lackluster service has left me utterly disillusioned with both Nissan and the Kaizen Automotive Group. This ordeal has not only soured my perception of the Nissan brand but has also set a new low for dealership service standards. The sheer lack of transparency, accountability, and the multitude of problems encountered make Sunridge (now Country Hills) Nissan in Calgary, under the Kaizen Automotive Group.

I have purchased a brand new Nissan rogue from Alpesh. As part of the process I have traded in my old Honda and paid a fee for "one stop shop" transfer of ownership and registration for the car. I have left happy with new car. 5 days later I have received a call from calgary police. They have informed me that my old Honda was stolen and the registration was never transferred to the dealership. I called the dealership and informed and they assured me everything will be fixed. a month later I received a call from impound lot again letting me know I am still responsible for old Honda ( which I have traded in and completed all paper work for). I called the dealership again and they told me to disregard this and " impound lots are hustlers" "just trying to get me there to pay the fee", going further advising "block their number". The dealership again reassured me nothing to worry about it and they will contact them. Another month goes by and at this time impound lot informs nothing was done and now the fees will go against me. At this time I no longer trusted the dealership and I have contacted calgary police. According to CPS the information that the dealership was giving was incorrect and indeed i would be responsible for the charges if I do not take care of this. I had to deliver the proof of sale to impound lot on my own time as well as contact the registry to rectify the situation(these instructions were given to me by CPS). The dealership continued to dismiss my concerns and refused to help me. This was an extremely negative experience for me and left me very distrusting of the dealership and the information they have provided me with.

I bought a Nissan pathfinder from country hills Nissan and I felt like it was such a run around! 1.The extra fees they tried to throw in was totally unnecessary and if you don’t question it it’s literally money in their pocket. Also it’s completely illegal in Canada to have added fees and things so always question it. It took the fees off as soon as I asked. 2. The condition of the vehicle because it was a demo I just expected it to be detailed at least. After being told it was detailed it 100% clearly wasn’t so I brought it back and they said they did it again but it was still clearly not done. 3. I asked them to fill a crack in the windshield and they didn’t so when I brought it back they said they did it… and yes you guessed it! They still didn’t fill it! 4.The Sirius radio and the road side assistance promised to my during the test drive was never set up. 5.The emblem had a big scratch in it and it literally took me figuring out how much it would cost ($71) for them to agree to fix it.. they kept telling me it would be a couple hundred dollars to fix and they weren’t willing to pay for it. Overall they way this dealership is ran would be a complete headache! I wouldn’t have bought from here if it wasn’t the only place I could find what I wanted at the time. Just to be clear I’m honestly not one to complain unless there is actually something to complain about! Do better Country Hills Nissan!

AVOID COUNTRY HILLS NISSAN. They charged a premium to replace a blower motor and the resistor. I was told they will give the old part which they never did. We found the “Check engine” light up after the work which wasn’t there when we left the vehicle for service. We informed this to the service advisor Hunter Romeril before we left the dealership. He said the technician might have forgotten to reset it and told me he will call back to schedule an appointment to fix it but it has been over a week and he never called or responded to our repeated calls, call back requests through the service department, texts and our voice mails. Basically they don’t care despite genuine efforts form the service department to get hold of him. Service department said Hunter did not write any notes about this issue and said they can only book an appointment to have it diagnosed (want to charge me $170 diagnostics again). I already paid double the cost to replace blower motor than their service department initially quoted for through email and they charged “diagnostics fee” on top of it which other dealerships waive off if the work is done by them. After all this hassle I am now dealing with a new issue after the service wasting more time and money. I have been servicing my vehicle with CH Nissan over the past year including oil changes but this would be the last time ever and never recommend them to anyone.

I bought a 2017 Ford Escape truck, with very few kilometers (73 thousand), initially the truck failed after 5 days, we took it back to the dealership, they checked it and “fixed it”, after 10 days it failed again , and we took her back to the agency. When we bought the vehicle they assured us that it was inspected by Nissan technicians, the first repair was done by them, the last repair was sent to a Ford agency because they couldn't, we asked for a slightly longer warranty for the vehicle due to the problems what it presented and why in the end we did not use the vehicle more than a few days of the month that it had a warranty, but they only gave us a month of warranty for the engine that was what failed, even though the seller Alpesh is excellent, very empathetic, The managers above him are people who do not empathize with the customer, nor do they appreciate that the vehicle was paid for in a single showing. They point out that the only important thing for them is that you buy the vehicle from them. If you are going to buy a used vehicle here, I recommend that you think twice, since you cannot trust the reviews that they say they do and if something happens, it is most likely that the treatment they give you will not be as friendly as when You were going to buy the vehicle, and finally you leave there with less than what would be fair.

More than a month ago we bought a 2017 Ford Scape truck at this dealership. Our initial budget was 15,000 DLL because we are newcomers and we did not want to spend a lot of money on a car, but seeing that the cars they had in all the agencies were quite old and with a lot of mileage, we decided to spend a little more, thinking that the vehicle It wasn't going to fail for a long time, but 5 days after we bought it the engine light came on, we took it in, they lent us another car and they fixed it in a matter of 6 days. They told us it was the temperature sensor. Then after 6 days the light turned on again and we took it back, this time with the intention of returning it because it was within the 30-day warranty and we were afraid that it would fail later. We are aware that when buying a used car it can fail. So we spoke with Mark Aburto Sales Manager and his attitude from the beginning was a little rude, we did not feel at any time that he really wanted to help us, he was always in his role as manager ensuring that “his” company did not lose money. We were both completely dissatisfied with his actitud. I thank the seller Alphesh for always being so kind and understanding. Finally we have the truck back, they completely changed the engine. Although we did not lose anything, we have had a bad experience as newcomers.

After visiting multiple dealerships in Calgary, we arrived at Nissan Country Hills, Lidya (sales advisor), was very helpful and understanding of our needs. During price negotiation, she brought Mark Aburto (sales manager), who offered some incentives for which we decided to purchase the car. After finding out a lower price on Nissan Canada's website, we asked for some clarification on the price that was given to us. Mark came with a very aggressive attitude, claiming we had already agreed on a price and saying he would remove incentives as they have a cost. We requested to speak with a supervisor, and he refused, saying that only one person above his position was going to be out of the country. Very disappointed with this dealership . Don’t make the same mistake as me , check prices before you sign anything and DONT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL , but if you decide to go there , stay away of MARK ABURTO . I understand the market right now is tight , but that doesn’t give them the right to charge $4000 over the MRSP and just say that they can charge whatever they want ( according to MARK ABURTO) Lydia ( sale advisor ) and Tarik ( financial manager) were great during the whole process !

*Never go there for any service.* The biggest scammers I ever came across. I went there for a sound coming from a loose exhaust of my 2016 rogue. They recommended a few things costing up to $2500 and I reluctantly agreed to a few of them assuming them to be important and possibly causing the sound. After a whole day and $900 which included $200 for hazardous material disposal, the noise was still there. All they did was some pcv valve fixing and break pads smoothening but got enough hazardous material that requires two hundred bucks to dispose of. As the noise was still there, they charged me hours of labour and couldn't fix it, they suggested opening the dashboard to check if there was something wrong (wanted to scam me for another few hundred dollars). Now after a month I went to another mechanic shop and he diagnosed the problem within one minute and fixed the noise within 15 minutes. Can you guess for how much? $36 only. The exhaust was hanging and vibrated and just needed tightening. Country Hills Nissan are oversellers and incompetent. Now I doubt they even did what they charged me for. I'll get it checked to see if that work was even done.

❗️***AVOID*** this dealership!!!! BUYERS BEWARE!!! ❗️ I would give a less than zero rating but had to put one star to write review. LESS THAN ZERO rating Tarik-useless salesperson Unnamed mechanic. Justin -GM I was sold a used car with 3 major issues, not noted as faulty or as repaired on the mechanical fitness form, contrary to AMVIC regulations. It was NOT roadworthy, yet was signed off as checked and safe by their incompetent, lazy, mechanic. I never did test drive the vehicle as it was continuously on the hoist, yet I called within the 1st three minutes of driving away from the dealership to declare that there was something terribly wrong with the car. Their supposed 30 day sales warranty may as well be used for uncomfortable toilet paper, since I was repeatedly fobbed off by the condescending, lazy misogynist salesperson. They have dragged out the issues for many months, truly putting my life at risk. Zero responsibility taken for their IMMORAL, life threatening actions, even now. No response so far. I’ll keep writing my reviews. ARROGANT, NEGLIGENT DEALERSHIP. - ‼️**AVOID**‼️

I bought a Nissan Rogue 2023 from this dealership. Even though I like the car and it meets my expectations but I did not like the dealership especially the part related to finance manager. Everything was unclear and the finance manager did not explain everything clear and after signing the contract I found that, they charged me two times for freight. One from manufacturer to canada, the other from the other dealership to the country hills. When I talked to finance manager he tried again to give some unclear explanations and mentioned that I had signed the contract and everything is over and if I don't want the car, dealership park it in front of my house. He also mentioned if I have any concerns I can talk to a lawyer and they would tell you the same. Generally it is good dealership but be aware about the finance part and make sure they explain to you everything clearly

I had an extremely poor experience at this car dealership. I initially liked a truck and paid a deposit, only to discover that it had a severely rusty underbody. When I decided to cancel the deal, the dealership refused to return my deposit. In my search for another truck, they tried to sell me one that had already experienced two transmission failures. When I backed out again, the dealership became aggressive and pushy. The sales manager, Austin, seemed to have an endless list of excuses for not returning my money. Even after numerous requests, they informed me that the deposit would not be returned, but could be used for services instead. In the end, I had to reluctantly use their subpar service just to make use of the money they had taken from me. Needless to say, I have warned my family and friends to stay far away from this dealership.

I so wish there was an option to give negative reviews about them but there isn't. The day you go for Test Drive they will be hovering over like bees to close the deal which by the way was not their effort because I was anyways going to the book the car (wish I had known the service I would be given). Make sure you record each and everything you talk about as promises will be made and once you sign they will disappear. It has happened to me not once not twice and I took delivery of the car yesterday Aug 30, 2023. Had I known the level of service I would have never gone to them and if you take my opinion DO NOT GO TO THEM. THEY ARE ACTUALLY TARNISHING THE NISSAN BRAND. I booked a test drive with Syed, however when we got there everyone told me that it was Syed’s day off which was confusing as he texted me 2 hours prior. Anyway, Alpesh gladly assisted us and prepared the car that I was gonna test drive. I was initially looking for a Kona but none was appealing, so Alpesh helped me find something similar and within my budget! Alas, I purchased the Kia Sportage! The car was really nice, low km and almost good as new! The transaction went very smoothly. I am very grateful for Alpesh and I definitely recommend him as your next sales associate! Absolutely unacceptable levels of transparency in fees. I had my vehicle already "misdiagnosed" by west end Nissan in Edmonton and now had to repay for another diagnostics $170 to figure out what was actually wrong with the vehicle. Once the proper diagnosis was made the services quote changed multiple times over before we were finally told that the total would be $761... Once I finally arrived to pick up my car I also came back to a bill that was $140 more than what was discussed over the phone even after multiple times of asking for confirmation of the total price. Will NEVER bring my vehicle back to this dealership for service and suggest you do not either...

We are long-time Nissan owners, so prior to this past week we had only dealt with Parts & Service. Everyone we dealt with in both those departments were super friendly and helpful, top-notch! We decided to get a new Nissan recently so our first choice was Country Hills due to our past experiences. My salesman was Sethe, super to deal with, very friendly, made the whole experience really pleasant. I have to say that absolutely everyone I talked to or dealt with during the purchase was awesome, really excellent customer service. It’s not every day you can say that about a business, and Country Hills has nailed it!

This was my second visit to a dealership ever and comparative to my first experience at Honda, Country Hills Nissan is definitely the place to go! I was assisted by Sethe San Miguel to find the perfect car for me. He was very courteous, kind, and professional throughout the entire process. I do admit, he has a keen eye as he knew exactly what I wanted after a quick consultation. I am very pleased with my visit and will definitely be back in the future. DO NOT GO THERE! A bunch of incompetent crooks, who just want your money, and even then, give you a car that's not fixed, hoping it breaks so that you come back and pay them more. .... They failed to just provide a simple tire balance. Lied to me about "limiting" Specs from Nissan, because they wanted me to buy tires from them! Kal-Tire fixed their screw up, and I am suing them now!!! ... Regarding Usman's answer below, I made a complaint to BBB and his first response was: The customer wanted "Numerous" services for free, and rude to us!!!!!!!! No shame in playing innocent games!!!!

Terrible experience in the service department. Took my vehicle in. They quoted me a very high cost as the issue would take many hours to fix as multiple parts had to be removed. They didn’t do nearly as much work as previously stated and still charged me the ridiculous price. Got my vehicle back with further issues. On top of that, after brining it there twice, they left many wires loose and push clips missing. Terrible attention to detail and workmanship. Would recommend taking photos of your vehicles condition prior and post service.

Me and my wife are usually very wary of the traditional stalking-style fromany dealerships, but I gotta say this place is at a whole different level.
