Went there recently for our Christmas dinner with girls from work. View was fantastic and place looked nice but food was very disappointing and a real let down. Ordered the fisherman's basket. Fish fillet was dry and chewy and old, batter was so thick and had hard crust that you could barely cut with knife and was full of oil. Also had a weird smell to it as if it was cooked in old oil that has been reused too many times. I couldn't even tell what the other small battered pieces on the plate were as they also had a strange taste to them that barely tasted like fish at all and had an unusual texture to it almost like frozen supermarket quality. Also had the Haloumi cheese fingers which did'nt have the regular taste or density of normal Haloumi cheese. Other ladies had pizza which looked like it had more cheese than any other topping on it. Would not recommend food here, not worth the price.

Cove Bar & Grill within Sharks at Kareela is absolutely amazing! They not only provided fantastic food for my small wedding, but Bec organised my wedding at Sharks at Kareela from start to finish! Bec and Gina, I cannot thank you enough on how well you did on our wedding day. You both, and your team, went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly and accommodated our every need. They were so lovely and easy to communicate with. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cove Bar & Grill, not only their food, but for organising whatever function you need! I cannot thank you enough!

I refused to eat here for a long time as it was terrible and still the same people operating the restaurant I thought maybe after a year or so they may have sorted things out. Unfortunately no, we basically had reheated leftovers tonight at about $30 per person. Hard to support my local if this is the standard. See attached photo of last week's roast potato they recycled for tonight. Pity as I enjoy the club besides the food Update , have been desperate enough to eat here again, salad represented something made the week before, tomatoes were nearly rotting. How hard is it to make a fresh salad

Don’t even want to give one star. We haven’t been to this restaurant in a few years prior to this owner but had heard good things Ordered the brisket burger they brought me the wrong meal but eventually they gave me my burger. It looked great loaded with slaw and brisket but when I took a bite the brisket was so tough I couldn’t eat it. I took the brisket out of the bun and even the knife wouldn’t cut through it was so tough. What is surprising is they market themselves as farm to fork good quality fresh food but if my meal suggests that is not the case.

Food was packaged not very appetising Priced reasonably if you were to enjoy the meal. Very disappointed will not be returning.

Monday & Tuesday night specials are a real bargain! Chicken snitty was one of the best I’ve had and for for $16 you definitely can’t go wrong. On the other hand ordered a $40 Ribeye Steak medium rare and it was terrible. Absolutely over cooked. Tough and chewy definitely a waste of money. The chips were the only good thing about it. Hopefully it was a one time thing.

The steak that we ordered was great but both of the chicken schnitzel based meals were average, definitely a bit over cooked and hard to cut. Staff are lovely and attentive, couldn’t fault them.

Part of the Sharks sports club, this restaurant is suitable for families too. We have just walked in without advance booking but staff managed to arrange a table for us. Ordered food and drinks did not take long to be served. You can enjoy the views while having dinner. Food was good and reasonably priced.

Food was FANTASTIC!! Service was very friendly and professional, the rump steak was asked to be medium rare and it came out absolutely perfect. The prawn linguine was to die for and had plenty of prawns throughout. Créme brulee for desert was also very tasty. Will definately be coming back :)

I have now been five times to this club and a very nice club it is too! Today my Mother and I had the best Supreme Pizza that we have had in years! Well done to the Chef! Very good service and clean, congenial surroundings both inside and outside! I shall return and make it my sixth visit!

Real generous portions and great tasting meals. Wonderful views of the golf course if you are seated near the window . Would definitely go back

Cove is a fabulous place to eat with family or friends. Food was delicious with reasonable prices. Staff service was of high quality. Harvey ran the area with high standards reminding me of a A class restaurant. Congratulations all.

Great service. Food was nice and decent portions. Chips were ok. Not fries and not fat chips- but like KFC. Wheelchair access and now they've resealed the drive/ parking/ entrance, no more tossing the salad on the way in. Lol.

Very happy to find this local Gem. We celebrated a birthday here tonight and were very impressed with the food, service and prices. Highly recommend the Cheesy Cob and Prociutto wrapped chicken fillet. We will be back.
